  What should/could I do while I wait?
Posted by: Emrys The Wizardmon - 10-16-2015, 09:08 PM - Forum: Help Desk - Replies (3)

Sorry if I'm being rude but I'm wondering what I should do while waiting for acceptance? I really wish to at least talk in the chatbox since all I have been able to do is watch you guys talk. Not trying to impatient since I know staff have lives outside of OmniRPG it's just I'm bored and can't even communicate with members here... Which is kind of a downer ^^; Also, since I've been gone for a while why exactly do people need staff to give them access to the chat? Did something happen that I missed these months I've been gone? A troll attack perhaps? ouo? Thanks for answering! And sorry for my rude behavior >.<;;

"I said... Its time to get up!".

By how her watch read, it was now four o'clock A.M. Fairly early for normal folk, but for warriors and military types, loud awakenings like these should come as a regularity. Well, even for most military personel this was over-the-top. Using just a bit Omnilinium, she supplied herself with a semi-automatic pistol. As such a weapon really wasn't her style, and that she was really doing this out of the spectacle of it, she had it loaded with blanks.

She smiled behind her mask, her fresh jaw muscles burning. One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Empty. By the time she dropped the gun, sending it skidding and scraping across the stone floor. Miranda sat on an unused bunk, watching the others each get up in their own way.

Zack's eyes seemed to snap open almost immediately upon her entry, but for reasons uknown to her he stayed in bed. Drake however hadn't budged an inch. Miranda sighed and shook her head, her body aching as she stood up, forced to walk over to his bunk.

"You....rockheaded.... dumbass... I said get up!", she growled kicking hard at the bed's front right leg. It collapsed and crumpled in on itself. It was amazing how this world seem to work for her. At first she assumed her amazing strength was only because of her prosthetic arms, though in reality her legs were just as strong. Goes to show why one should never skip leg day, not that she could really. Missing both arms could do that for you.

"Alright alright! Just shut your trap would ya?", the one armed maniac said, slowly setting his body upright, a hand running over his scalp.

Miranda, for one, was content; tired, but content. Maybe even better with the red armored machine-man and Zack already ready to go. Talk about quick recovery. Colonel glanced over at the others and walked out of the door way, presumably to wait on the others as they finished their preparations. She wondered if the man even slept. God knows Miranda didn't. Zack was about to walk out as well when his eyes met hers.

Miranda's brow furrowed, the small amount of nerves she possessed that day completely apparent to Zack.

"What?"

"You didn't sleep well did you? You.. got bags under your eyes"

"I didn't get any sleep Zack... which is why you're driving. You seem like a truck person, eh? I hope you enjoy the 'stick'.", she giggled softly, her voice muffled by the normal, steel mask she had wore. This time though, something was off. Her voice no longer sounded digitized, but genuine. Of course her voice was rough and somewhat deep for a woman, but the environment she was used to living in done that to her.

"Before you ask... I spent my entire night summoning shit, our raggedy ass truck included", she yawned again and tossed -ack the keys. If he couldn't guess what really had changed with her over night, then it would be some time before he would come to that conclusion. That alone amused her to some extent. Given her mental state, it really didn't take much to. Oh how she wanted to crash onto that bed that second, but no, she had to wait until the y at least got to the truck. By what the troopers had told her the night before, the next castle was at least two to three hours depending on if they ran into trouble on the way there. Good news was that the ground was more than ten time stable than the road they had crossed the day prior. The road was, for the most part, heavily guarded. The drive was long, but it should be much quieter.

Zack walked out and Miranda followed, a gloved hand sliding against the smooth stone walls. Zack was well within grabbing distance, should her legs give out.

Regenerating her face took nearly all night. The process of summoning her face as carefully as absolutely possible was painful. So painful in fact she had to recruit some help from a few guards to stand watch over her while she went through the process, to keep her from inflicting any damaging the fortress. The summoning had drained her and the pain had numbed her.

"Just... follow this corridor down to the... back entrance. The vehicle is ready."

  Classpects

The Classpect Test

Even if you haven't read the webcomic Homestuck, this is a fun little test thing to take!

Right now I'm just going to copy and paste a bunch of basic information from someone else's explanation of Classpect, which can also be found here.

Quote:What is Classpect?

Classpect is a system introduced in the popular webcomic Homestuck that catalogues the total impact on reality that a person has. There are two components to Classpect roles: an aspect, which is a piece of reality, the one which the most energy and attention is focused, and the class, which determines how the aspect is interacted with. This is arranged in an “X of Y” format, for example, an Heir of Breath, or in another way of thinking of it, Breath’s Heir. A Classpect role seeks to chart someone’s personal growth and their impact on reality, not such things as personality and abilities or powers. Often times, a correlation can be seen, but just as often it can be subverted.

In theory, every person would have a title. However, in works of fiction many times sufficient information is not given about a character to the point that they could be reliably assigned a role, nor does every single person in life impact reality enough to be given a role. In addition, children and other such people are often not developed enough to hold a role themselves. It is also important not to limit yourself or others based on this or any other classification system. This system is intended to help you learn more about yourself, others, and the world around you. Basing who you are off of such a system can only limit your potential. Act like who you are, then use this to determine what Classpect role that would be, not the other way around. That would be stupid. This is also in the name of fun, so don’t take this too seriously.

That said, Classpect potentially has many uses. You can use it to learn more about yourself, or to understand another fan of this system more quickly. We can use it to learn more about problems we face and to analyze literature easier. We can determine what we like best about ourselves and our biggest failings, and build off of that. And, we can all connect together in this big stupid system and experience the human emotion called friendship.

Determining Your Classpect

As soon as you hear about this, one of your first thoughts will probably be “What’s my Classpect role?” First, I would advise you to look at the aspects and make a decision which few most likely represent you. From there, you can decide what you think your best impact on reality is represented by and claim that as your aspect. From there, look at how you interact with your aspect: do you tend to be more active or passive? Do you control your aspect, or do you conduct it in a more casual manner? From there, a more specific type of impact will be possible. Finally, look at the implications of the combination, and try and decide what it would look like, and if that fits you. If you are having some trouble with this, go ahead and drop me a question: I’m always willing to help. And don’t be afraid to look at all the possibilities. There are 168 possible Classpect roles, and it’s perfectly alright to net get the first one a few dozen times!

There are a few tests available for Classpect roles at this time, but with so many possibilities, and so many possibilities within each role, I don’t particularly like any one at this time. The described method is currently one of the better ones, though it is possible to use the test for a sort of baseline if you are absolutely lost as to what your Classpect role is. Also note that you could have one million of each individual class, and not a single replication of a person, and just because you aren’t like someone with a similar role doesn’t mean that it’s not your role.

Aspects

Aspects are the twelve ideals and points that make up all of reality. Each has an opposite, and with this opposite, they form 6 individual spectrums that make up all of reality. Two of them form the physical world: Space and Time, and the rest focus on the ways that people interact with reality. Everyone has a bit of all the aspects in them, but there tends to be one that people can identify with more than any others. This aspect will probably come to define them in subtle ways, and they gain an instinct for the flow and feel and shape of this aspect, and it largely comes to represent them whether they know it or not.

Every idea can be traced, in some way, back to these aspects. The concept of a spectrum cataloguing everything might seem alien, but it is in fact well explored. Consider the four classical elements or the five colors of Magic: The Gathering.  This is simply another schema available for looking at it, and looking at people. There is probably some perfect arrangement of the aspects, but it has not been found yet, just rough ideas of where the aspects lie in relation to each other.

Classes

There are 14 Classes in Homestuck: 12 Normal Classes and 2 Master Classes. The Normal classes are extremely well explained, with many examples of each and in-depth explorations available. The Master classes are a bit more obscure, with not a lot being revealed about them as of yet.

It is interesting to note that the non-master Classes are all actually named to be a sort of “servant” or “lower classman”, while only the two Master classes are not. Also note that all classes have two functions, which can be broadly explained as “through their aspect” and “of their aspect”. You’ll understand later.

Each class has a “keyword” and is either passive/active. The keyword describes what avenue the impact on reality takes, such as understand, change, create, destroy, allocate, or exploit. Passiveness vs. activeness roughly describes how much direct control over the aspect the class maintains.

Note that Classpects are very basic descriptions and should in no way inhibit how you or your character behaves.

Canon Aspects:
[Image: tumblr_static_3j39nt5wd6ec8g0gwowookggw.png]
From left to right, up to down: Breath, Light, Time, Space, Mind, Heart, Life, Void, Hope, Doom, Blood, Rage.

Non-canon Aspects:
From left to right, up to down: Blaze, Form, Zen, Keys.
[In the interest of Omni-Tier, don't use these.]

Anyway, here are the tests! I'm going to include five so you'll have a greater chance of getting something accurate:

SBURB CLASSPECT TEST 1
SBURB ASPECT-SPECIFIC TEST
SBURB CLASSPECT TEST 2 [ FEATURES NON-CANON CLASSPECTS, NOT OMNI-TIER ELIGIBLE]
SBURB CLASSPECT TEST 3
SBURB CLASSPECT TEST 4

Example run: On the first test I got the Page of Space. According to the site, "Pages tend to be extremely weak and passive at the start of their journeys. However, they have incredible potential, and if they can survive long enough to reach god tier, their powers will make all others' pale in comparison. Space players can warp space at will, adjusting the size and momentum of objects. They are absolutely essential for any session to be victorious, as they are responsible for the creation of the new universe."

On the second test, my top aspect was Space, while the two highest-scoring ones below that were Time and Blood. Still Space-y.

On the third test, I got Mage(excluding the non-canon role of Monk from my results, that is). This makes me the "Investigator", or a "Problem Solver". According to the site, I "Want to possess knowledge, to understand the environment, to have everything figured out as a way of defending the self from threats from the environment." My aspect was also once again Space.

Since I personally identify with the Page class more, I think that my Classpect would be the Page of Space.

ON A SIDE NOTE**: The third test(CLASSPECT TEST 2) includes non-canon Classes such as: Spark, Agent, Fiend, Serf, Star, Queen, Soul, Poet, Ace, Voice, Chief, Sage, Duke, and Monk. It also has non-canon Aspects such as: Blaze, Form, Keys, and Zen. This is okay. It might just be more difficult for you to find a solid analysis anywhere, is all. I added in some more tests, just in case people wanted to avoid fanon classpects.

After taking the Classpect tests and deciding on your Classpect, it would also be a good idea to take these two tests listed below:

LAND TEST
DERSE/PROSPIT DREAMER TEST

So, as a Space player, my land would be the Land of Amber and Frogs. Also, as my MBTI-type is INTJ, I am a Derse dreamer. Try it out!

ALSOOOOO I figured that it'd be cool to take these quizzes IC and OOC, just to see what you get. If you're already role-playing a (canon) Homestuck character, I've got you covered. Still need your User Info, though.

Possible to do a game within a game?
Posted by: Amaterasu - 10-16-2015, 09:08 AM - Forum: Help Desk - Replies (6)

This is something I want to discuss and make sure I stay within what the site allows as soon as I start.

Basically: I want Aeris to build up a game within the Dataverse, called the Shardworld (you can read up on it in my profile) which would be a game within a game. I'm not sure if this would be at all possible (rules-wise and is Omni okay with this?), and if so what the limitations and conditions on it would be.

The extended version: Aeris would rebuild the "Shardworld" game inside the Dataverse by finding some off, unoccupied location there and establishing a set of "rules" through coding (as in, how this game works), which ONLY works within that location (it would not influence anything else in the Dataverse). The game should be open to anyone who can access the dataverse directly or through VR. It would probably be an overly easy way to make tons of OM if you could access it through a Mobile DV Device and play the game parallel to your character being in a different verse doing their stuff. It would take her a lot of time and effort to build up something like this, she wouldn't summon it out of nowhere in ten minutes.

Now, here's some bulletpoints about it. I don't think I've covered every detail though, but I'm trying my best.

-The game takes the shape of an MMORPG, with various unnamed NPCs running around being cannon fodder as well as a handful of "boss" characters.

-"Players", which is to say Primes and Secondaries who enter the game as a player, recieve a separate set of gear (weapons, armor etc.) which does not carry on outside of the Shardworld. Basically, leaving the location within which the game coding is functional will cause all their stuff to disappear until they come back. It would be possible for someone to summon items outside the game using Omnilium if they want to keep it, though obviously it would have to be within the site rules for moves, stats etc.

-Primes and secondaries are adjusted to a specific power level to avoid people who upload themselves having an advantage in-game over VR players. Primes and Secondaries die like anywhere in the Dataverse. (obviously using VR rather than self-upload is more popular as a result). Perhaps a "Death list" or something would be established so that Primes know if some secondary died after fully uploading themselves.
It's kind of a dick move to people who have sunk a lot of OM into more stats, but they are toned down to a total of 10 as well.

-Moves, stats etc. carry over from the Omniverse. However finding Shardworld-exclusive items etc. can enhance the moves beyond that. For instance, a character may find armor that gives "4 defense". Users may make up their own items, though some form of power limit should still be respected (no "Megasword of Instagib"s). I might put some form of cap here. That gear doesn't carry over. As mentioned earlier, the gear stays within the game.

-Repeating myself here: the rules to play the game are NOT meant to interfere with the Omniverse rules. I can't stress this enough: it would be a set of rules within the Omniverse rules with no clashes in the ideal case.

-Administration-wise I would create a thread in Omniverse Discussion, Soulsverse or wherever the site-mods believe it to be appropriate, where I can edit the original post. This would be to list the rules, cannon-fodder NPCs, possible "tasks" within the game (not to be confused with site quests like the Void quests) as well as list the most important pieces of equipment. I would also list and explain the bosses, post a map picture of the game and so on. A link to that thread would be posted on the first post of the thread where the game takes place so people know where to look.

Questions: (outside of "is this doable?")
-Would I have to submit a specific NPC request for the "cannon fodder" monsters? What about "boss" characters? (neither of these would ever go outside the game location, let alone the Dataverse)
-What forum should I put the thread into that I can edit?

I was idly looking through the affiliates and beyond, and old sites.

I noticed this from two years ago. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://entropy.b1.jcink.com/index.php?showtopic=271">http://entropy.b1.jcink.com/index.php?showtopic=271</a><!-- m -->

And if you click on the affiliates tab (where all of their buttons are) the have our button up (must have been there for two years!), seem to be active still. I used to to RP there myself.

We don't have their button

Code:

I also realized that the Omniverse doesn't have an Advertisement OOC forum, does it?

  Colosseum - Spectator Thread
Posted by: Storyteller - 10-15-2015, 08:07 PM - Forum: Camelot - Replies (90)

Quote:This thread can serve as an all-purpose area for writers to let their Primes or Secondaries watch and react to the Colosseum Tournament. Posts in this thread don't necessarily have to be in the stands; it could also be interactions in the Colosseum Lobby or in the Carnival surrounding the structure.

As such, please try to read each other's posts thoroughly so you can be certain of where you all actually are.

Magnus had certainly gone to great lengths to ensure that this particular Colosseum Tournament was as resplendant as to be fitting of the Kingdom. Yes, there were certainly cheap seats...drafty stone benches located in the breezy heights of the Colosseum's bowl-like structure. For the most part, however, the amenities and myriad pleasures were vibrant and plenty.

Throngs of conversing and laughing Secondaries flooded the sandstone halls of the mythic structure, and a clear blue sky framed the entire bustling scene in an air of vivacious splendor. Hundreds of stalls selling scrumptious street fare and hand-crafted knick-knacks buzzed with the heartening timbre of humble commerce.

Inside the Colosseum proper, the Tournament was well under way, indicated by the ever swelling ambiance of a thoroughly incensed crowd. Violence was the bloody transaction that oiled the great, inscrutable gears of the Omniverse, but it was nice to see people getting hurt who were not screaming in abject fear. This alone would have been enough to draw the immense, enraptured masses, but the addition of a few big names from Dante's Abyss had only sweetened the deal.

Not to mention, aside from the voluntary gladiators, not one single person had been murdered.

All in all, the Baron could not be more pleased.

  Journey Through Paradise
Posted by: Jaixe Furiael - 10-15-2015, 06:10 PM - Forum: Camelot - Replies (7)

Of course it had to take an eternity and a half to get here. Through the tiers of Coruscant, whose elevators perplexingly seemed to travel faster going up rather than down, much to Jaixe’s chagrin and Ash’s amusement, as well as moving through the empty white abyss of the Nexus again, on horseback to save time, they still spent several hours traveling. Although, Ash was helpful in spending the time by sifting through the dataverse once more only to stumble upon a pirated stream of the tournament. The first rounds were almost over, though it didn’t matter much in the long run to Jaixe.

After all, most people eliminated in the first round are rarely worth it. Still, he did want to make a note of all the combatants that he could. It wasn’t as if there was much else to do along the way. At least Ash was somewhat entertaining to listen to when they watched the various bouts take place. By the time they reached and traversed the gateway to Camelot from the Nexus, the rounds were nearing their completion. It seemed, to Jaixe at least, that many of the victors were already decided before it all began, though some still held a level of uncertainty. What they arrived at, through the gate, would be described as beyond idyllic by many of a sane and rational mind.

To Jaixe, it was more appalling and insufferable than he’d appreciate.

They arrived out of the gate, which was guarded by a handful of leather-armored guards, a small garrison force no doubt, and several standing, ancient stones atop a grassy knoll with sparse trees laid about them in no particularly order. Beyond, one could see the tall mountain range that spiked into the clouds, and the white marble city built into the side of a selected gray mountain. That was Minas Tirith, the capital of Camelot.

Around the city, and in truth, as far as the eye could see were nothing else but small villages, farms, hills, and the occasional and surprisingly dense forest of towering greenery. This, combined with the warm touch of the sun against his cold skin, the gentle breeze, and the unusual, serene quietness was almost like poison to Jaixe’s senses. Any more peaceful and he would have preferred an eternity in the Nexus to another moment in this verse.

“What a wonderful paradise…” Jaixe spoke aloud, sarcastically mocking the setting they found themselves in with a roll of his eyes, much to the confusion of one of the approaching guards that overheard him.

“Welcome to Camelot m’lord, m’lady. What brings you to these parts?” One of the guards addressed the two new-comers, standing ahead of the others, and appearing taller, more confident. The others behind him, however, seemed to shrink under the gaze of Jaixe’s glowing orange eyes that bore down on them. That was an enjoyable sight to behold… It may have made up for the appalling scenery surrounding Jaixe at the time.

The leader was blonde, middle-aged, and resolute in his stance and straight in his posture. He donned on clean, glimmering metal armor that almost seemed too decorative for guard duty, given that the man’s other colleagues had simple, rough-looking leather. He seemed to keep a hand on the handle of his sheathed sword, kept at his side by a leather belt with an odd emblem adorning the buckle that Jaixe did not immediately recognize.

After a moment or two of silence, with the black-coated, red-eyed steed Jaixe rode upon huffing and stomping on the grass with a series of thuds, almost seeming impatient with being stationary for too long, Jaixe deigned to finally reply to the man’s question. “We have come to watch the tournament, and little else,” he spoke with a rather bored tone, as if dismissing the guards as nothing more than a nuisance at the moment. He went back to analyzing their surroundings. This verse was considerably lower-tech than Coruscant was, but perhaps that may be a rather large deception on their part?

“The tournament, eh? A lot of others like you came ‘round here too. Awful lot of Primes.” The lead guard responded, motioning the other guards forward. “We’ll have to check you to make sure you’re not Imperial spies or what not.”

This guy was unusually calm with addressing an orange-eyed man and a demon-like woman, obviously he has had this task for far too long to be caught by surprise or fear… Either that, or the walking skeleton Jaixe called a partner was through here recently.

  Magicka Comes to the Omniverse.

When I first was creating my character for the site, I thought about a Magicka Wizard as my character, because I absolutely loved the first game, but I deemed it too hard to make viable moves within the scope of the this site, so i scraped it.

I decided today to take a stab at it for fun, cause why not. These are my interpretations of moves that may be viable within the scope of the rules. Tell me what you think.

And honestly, if any staffer wants to talk to me about these and their viability, I'd love to hear, it cause I'm considering a switch and if this is a thing that works than this maybe be my new character. No pressure though, only if you want to and feel like it. I know this is not the place for such things, but i thought i'd mention it. PM me if you think it's worth working more on.

This is also a rough draft of sorts so i didnt bother with costs of Powers/Profs needed.

Quote:A good Wizard has the power to conjure the elements and mix and match them to his or her liking.

All spells originate from the center of the tip of the Wizard's staff.

Shield (Requires ) - X00 OM
By calling out the word "Shield", the Wizard can conjure a shield in many forms to project itself of create structures.
The Wizard can conjure a shield of yellow energy to encompass its body and reduce damage taken. The shield protects best against blunt-force attack; has average resistance to sharp attacks like those from a blade, and has little resistance to energy-like attacks.
There is a 1 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

The Wizard can also conjure a shield in front of itself. The shield is a half moon shape, reaching from the ground to about 6 ft at it's highest point. This shield can be 'fire-and-forget' but can only take 1 hit of any type, or it can be channeled by the Wizard. If channeled, it holds as long as the Wizard channels, but the Wizard can do use no other Move or Power while channeling.
There is a 2 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

The shield can also be cast in a dome around the, with a radius of 6 ft, but the Wizard must channel to maintain the barrier. No one (friend or foe) can enter or exit the barrier while it is up, and it does not extend into the ground at all. This barrier lasts as long as the wizard channels, but any attacks made on the barrier physical harm the Wizard as well.
There is a 3 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

Earth (Requires ) - X00 OM
By calling out the word "Earth", the Wizard can conjure the element of Earth to fire rocky projectiles at its opponent.
The Wizard can charge for up to 5 seconds, increasing the size of the projectile that of a baseball at 1 second to that of a 5 ft diameter boulder at 5 seconds, and fire it at an opponent. The speed of the projectile varies depending on it's size. At 1 second charge, it flies at about 80 mph (a little less than a good baseball pitch), and at 5 seconds, it flies at about 15 mph. The density of the rock at all size is that of an actual baseball.
For each second of charge, there is .5 seconds of cooldown afterward before any other spell can be cast.

Life (Requires ) - X00 OM
By calling out the word "Life", the Wizard can conjure the power of Life to heal itself or others
The Wizard fires a green beam of light in a direction with a max distance of 12 ft, healing any ally caught in the beam. The beam is 1 ft in diameter. This beam can be channeled for continued effect for as long as the Wizard pleases, but the Wizard can do use no other Move or Power while channeling. If the Wizard were to try and turn while channeling, it would take 5 seconds to rotate 90 degrees.
There is a 3 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

The Wizard can also cast the green energy in a circle around it in a 'one-shot' blast, with a max distance of 6 ft. While this allows for group healing, the effectiveness would be split evenly between each person affect, and have no effect at all if more than 3 people were affected this way. (2 people = 50% effectiveness on each person, 3 people = 33% effectiveness on each person, 4 or more = no noticeable effect.)
There is a 2 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

Death (Requires ) - X00 OM
By calling out the word "Death", the Wizard can conjure the power of Death to inflict damage to others.
The Wizard fires a red beam of light in a direction with a max distance of 12 ft, causing any surface caught in the beam to decay, alive, dead, or inanimate. Flesh and the like began to rot and decay, while inanimate surfaces like stone or metal begin to weaken and crumble to dust. Five seconds of continued exposure to the beam is enough for it to crumble to where an individual with an ATK of 1 could break it regardless of material. This is also long enough for any flesh to decay to the bone. This beam can be channeled for continued effect for as long as the Wizard pleases, but the Wizard can do use no other Move or Power while channeling.
There is a 3 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

The Wizard can also cast the red energy in a circle around it in a 'one-shot' blast, with a max distance of 6 ft. This would have an effect equivalent to 1 second of channeling.
There is a 1 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

Lightning (Requires ) - X00 OM
By calling out the word "Lighting", the Wizard can conjure the element of Lightning to shock its opponent.
The Wizard fires a literal lightning bolt at its opponent. The max distance of the bolt is 12 ft, after which is just dips to the ground and dissipates harmlessly. If struck, the opponent would be electrified, stunning them for 1 second, and causing a circular burn mark on the clothing or skin where it struck them.
There is a 3 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

The Wizard can also cast an array of lightning bolts around it for 2 seconds, channeling while doing so. The max distance for these bolts is 6 ft, and cause only damage to the opponent, as well as a burn mark where struck, and making them feel winded.
There is a 1 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

Fire (Requires ) - X00 OM
By calling out the word "Fire", the Wizard can conjure the element of Fire to burn its opponent.
The Wizard can spray fire in a cone at a target for up to 3 seconds. The cone is 12 ft long, and 6 ft at its widest. Those hit 6 feet or closer are severely burned, as well as having an flammable clothing set ablaze or melted. Those hit by the flames at farther than 6 feet only have their clothing set ablaze or melted, no damage is cause directly to the flesh. Those with low defense may be caused extra burns by their flaming clothes.
There is a 1 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

Fire can be cast in a circle around the Wizard to the same effect, but with a max distance of 6 ft, and an effective, flesh damaging distance of 3 ft.
There is a 1 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

Water (Requires ) - X00 OM
By calling out the word "Water", the Wizard can conjure the element of Water to wet and knock away its opponent.
The Wizard can spray high pressure water at a target for up to 3 seconds. This water hits as hard as a fire hose, but spray in a cone in the direction the Wizard points its staff. The cone is up to 12 feet in length, and 6 ft at it's widest. While this can wet any targets up to its maximum distance, it really only has enough power to knock over an average person at a distance of 6 ft.
There is a 1 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

The same water can also be cast in a circle around the Wizard in a 'one-shot' blast, with a max distance of 6 ft, and an effective range of 3 ft.
There is a 1 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

Cold (Requires ) - X00 OM
By calling out the word "Cold", the Wizard can conjure the element of Cold to chill and freeze its opponent.
The Wizard can fire a chilling gust of wind and snow at a target for up to 3 seconds. The cone is 12 ft long, and 6 ft at its widest. Those hit within 6 ft are chilled to the bone, causing general pain in the limbs and making it painful to move. This effect last for 1 seconds after they are no longer being hit with it directly. Those hit at farther than 6 ft feel generally cold, like midnight during a snowy winter. Regardless of the distance, the targets hit accumulate snow on their clothing, more and more as they stand within the blast. Snow also accumulates across the ground of any area affected by the blast, up to a foot over the 3 seconds.
There is a 1 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

Cold can be cast in a circle around the Wizard to the same affect, but with a max distance of 6 ft, and a bone chilling cold at 3ft or less. A light dusting of snow appears on the ground of the area affected.
There is a 1 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

Ice (Requires ) - X00 OM
By calling out the words "Water, Cold", the Wizard can combine the elements of Water and Cold to fire Ice at its opponent.
The Wizard can fire a shotgun blast of 12, 2 inch long ice shards at an opponent. The max range is 6 feet, the max effective range is 3 feet. The shards hit with the same power as an actual shotgun blast, and any that do hit may stick and protrude from the skin of the affected areas.
There is a 1 second cooldown after this cast before any other spell can be cast.

Ice Armor - Tier 1 Power-Up

DEF: +2
SPD: +0
TEC: +1

Haste - Tier 1 Power-Up

Nullify - Tier 1 Super Utility
By calling out the words "Death, Shield", the Wizard can combine those elements into a spell to nullify any bothersome anythings.
When cast, all individuals (friend or foe) are freed of any buffs or debuffs they might have. This includes buffs or debuffs from moves of any kind (Tier 1 Super or lower), any Power-Ups (Tier 1 only), or Assists (Tier 1 only). Transformation of any kind are unaffected. Anyone affected can immediately reapply and buff or debuff dispelled by this.

  Move help.
Posted by: Animbus - 10-15-2015, 03:31 PM - Forum: Help Desk - Replies (5)

My characters name is Animbus, I want to get a power that allows him to "teleport" using shadows just like splatoon.

I looked through the moves, and I think it works like disassemble, but I don't want survival or hive mind, because he moves together. I think I would need burst movement to give the "teleport" effect, but I'm not sure what would be best, without spending a lot of om on one move.
