Hovering through the gate of the Nexus, Setsu felt the cold air retreat from his body. No longer was he gripped by the ceaseless sensation of "find warmth" and instead found a reassuring lack of insistent temperature.
He was still in awe and in confusion in relation to the scenery of which was still all too foreign, seeming. There would maybe never be a time where this veritable lobby between worlds would make real sense to him.
It simply was not something that fit with the understanding he carried from being in his world.
And yet, his world had a certain unreal aspect to it as well.

Character Name:Audric Incommodun
Original
Arcadia was Audric's home. The place he served faithfully as a Warden Knight. Warden Knights were a small band soldiers acting as the absolute last line of defense in the Great Emerald Capital. Most were picked from a young age (between 2 and 5 years old) and trained throughout their entire lives to defend their beloved king and temples. Their training was a brutal 15 year course where only 20% of the initial candidates survived. When graduated into full fledged Warden Knights they were given their choice of weapon and the temples blessed each one to act as a catalyst for their powers.
Thus began their life-long service to the King. Only fighting in battle when they were needed and quickly changing the tide of battle each and every time they were ever called. The most famous example of their strength was at the Battle of Ironholde. A rebellion broke out where 12,000 rebel knights slaughter the stronghold of 30,000 (soldiers and peasants alike) not even the vanguard and first battalion of the Emerald Capital (a total of 25,000 soldiers) stood a chance. Aa the last resort the king sent 1000 Warden Knights to Ironhold where a gruesome 7 day battle broke out. By the end of it all, 12 Wardens still stood while all of the rebellion had been demolished. Blood had soaked the battle field permanently turning the once beautiful green grass and trees into a deep red.
Fearing the Wardens growing power and influence with the royal family, the lower lords of Arcadia had the Warden knights falsely tried for treason. With enough planted evidence and forced confessions from these once proud knights, they were all rounded up for the headmans axe. In a blink of an eye Audric faced the executioners axe and woke up in front of a beautiful fountain sitting in the middle of a white void with multiple gateways surrounding him
Appearance: Standing a height of 5 foot 7 weighing 175 pounds. Audric is clad in a heavy suit of grey armor that's been soaked in blood from his many battles. Underneath the helmet reveals Audrics pale white complexion with short brown hair, bright green eyes and a long scar running down from above the left eyebrow down to the corner of his mouth.
STATS:

SPD:2
TEC:2
Proficiencies:Physical Strength (1000 Om), Buff (400 Om), Area of Attack (600 Om)

Half swording: by gripping the blade end of the sword the user can attack with pommel as a blunt weapon, or alternatively keep one hand on the handle and the other on the blade the user can make use of stronger thrust attacks (OM 600)
Flames of Arcadia: while standing still and gliding his hand down the length of the sword, Audric can encoat his sword with flames. The move takes 3 seconds to complete and lasts 1 minute or until released in Arcadia's Wrath (300 Om)

As if a cruel joke by Karl Jak to punish her for her premature departure of his game, Ash found herself feeling a bit sicker than usual as pixelated lights shimmer across the space where Ash stood on shaky legs. As an added bonus, her ponytail started standing up in the hot air. The gathered hair fell into voluminous black curls which dance about in the heat before settling around her shoulders.
She stumbled back against some crust covered enlarged surface, her all of the eighty-or-so pounds meant nothing to the rockish thing. She leaned across it, taking in a few steady breaths as she stared up into the swirling fires. Part of her was concerned about the possibility of being cast to the Underverse once more. Only for the connection to the dataverse to fill her with a second wave of relief. Ash closed her eyes and let the twisting calm in her flattened belly.
She still wore the gown from the hospital, it did not flatter her anymore now than it did in the hospital, but it made her very aware of the radiating heat all around her.
As she contemplated on adjusting her outfit or just summoning a new one the morality mirrored humanoid felt the rough ribbed surface she leaned on the move. It was a subtle movement, as if breathing while in slumber. Her neck craned to one side, noting it sloped down on both side of her, but there were shoulder-like lumps to her left. A set of webbed spikes followed the curve, just slightly drooping one side as if not used to gravity pulling on it in that direction.
It occurred to her to move a moment too late, the whole thing rolled over onto its side and a pair of bipedal arms with sharp claws wrapped around her protectively. She let out a soft grunt as she was crushed under the muscular weight of the legs, her back pressed firmly to its belly. The scaled surface was so hot it scorched her exposed skin and began to melt the plastic threads of the cheap gown. Holes formed where the scolding hot body pressed into her's and she had to bit her lip to not make a sound. Pain or Pleasure, it all was the same to her at this point.
Ash let her body relax as she tried to look around for any way out, or be damned to be burned or crushed by the dragon.
She was in a cave. The top of the cavern had to be a good 300 feet, its curved surface fully lit by the moving orange, yellows, reds, and whites of the lava. She could see the mixture drooling along the fang-like stalactites that hung only about 20 feet from her head, the hungry beast craved a sacrifice.
"I don't think I've ever tried hot wax..." She said thoughtfully to herself, then considered what was close by to assist in her escape.
Nothing really. She was on her own.
A bruised colored hand came out and with a few moments to herself, she quick summoned The Red Devil's Claw. Movement was difficult and limited but she managed to whip the grapple hook into motion and released it towards the stalagmites that settled perfectly at the edge of a steaming pool. The claw did as intended, wrapping around the larger one in her aim and locking into the obsidian spire. Its blades cut into the side, but the rock was much harder than the squishy bodies of her enemies. She glanced up at the sleeping dragon that clung to her and rolled her eyes as it started breathing heavily.
"They call me arrogant." She said to herself once again and wondered if she should attempt to slit its throat for a trophy. Against her more adventurous nature, she decided to focus on fleeing from her cage.
It took a lot of strength that Ash didn't have to pry her arms out from under the creature's arms. She estimated an hour just to do so little, as well as staying stealthy about it. All while dealing with the heat. If she thought the dressing room in the back of that strip club she used to work at was bad, it was nothing in comparison to the lair of whatever dragon held her captive. Sweat poured off her and soaked into the hospital dress. At least what was left of it, she felt patches of the thing missing, her skin rubbing against the rocky surface of the mythical beast. Which she bet would be blistered and raw by the time she'd get out from under him.
Or her.
While the idea wasn't extremely unpleasant, after all, there were tons of erotic fiction about dragons and what they do to their virgin sacrifices, Ash still savored the taste of Gildarts tongue on her. Although, if there was a powerful creature ever to be able to make a girl forget Mr. Clive, a dragon would be one of them.
With her arms free, Ash spun the semi-braided ebony hair around her wrists and prepared her next labor-intensive endeavor. Not one that was afraid to get into the dirt and mud, Ash only smirked at the challenge. That was before The Storm Demon attempted the feat herself.
When she pulled, the lazy weight of the drake was still just enough to give her a hard time. How the thing didn't wake up on its own before now would forever be a mystery to her. But for now, she strained and struggled. When she managed to pull her chest to one place on the rope, she spun her hand in the hair and reached for another half foot. She could hear the metal scraping the rock as her arms began to shake under the dead weight of the over-sized lizard. With nowhere to go, she felt her arms give out and her upper body slam into the ground before she rested with a long sigh.
For what felt like several hours later, she inched her body out of the dragon's grasp. Its sharpened claws were relaxed, but still cut into the gown and left the bottom half in ten thick pieces. Her flesh received about the same in treatment, except not as pinchable without the precision that came with consciousness. Each time she believed she managed to avoid it, a second later the nails cut through her with such ease she almost didn’t register she’s been wounded. It was the searing pain afterward with the cuts were exposed to hot fresh air that let her know.

A story of a Crimsonheart |

Revan had once more returned to the peaceful tranquility that seemed to make up the civilised lands of this nostalgia inducing verse. The grass was green and the red maple trees blossomed bright in the soft sun.
Massive spires were raised high into the sky, their tips coloured a bright red that matched the surrounding foliage. Revan had been travelling with a caravan of levies that had been raised from this county. The soldiers here were clad in red instead of the blue that had adorned the soldiers assisting the reclaiming of Midred.
Crossing a stone bridge he approached a large gate guarded by spearmen who quickly stepped aside as the wooden defences opened wide revealingly the hustling busy activity inside.
Soldiers stood guard at key points around the courtyard, others raced around in noble clothing dodging and weaving between marching troops. The soldiers Revan followed moved through the courtyard past armoured knights to the far back.
“Follow us.” said a Sergeant leading Revan forward toward more ornate painted glass doors.
Inside an empty throne at the far back of a hall awaited their arrival with the Sergeant and his men pushing past him to hurriedly make their way towards the chair. Revan walked in slowly, his cape swaying steadily behind him as he made his way behind the levies to their intended destination coming to a stop a few metres from the throne.
A man came out dressed in black silk and looked over the group before his eyes landed on Revan, he held his gaze causing Revan to feel a bit uncomfortable before the man broke the gaze and opened his mouth. “Lady Oviah Crimsonheart comes to speak with you.”
Revan waited a few extra patient moments before finally Oviah stepped out from the side entrance, a youthful child with a white flowing dress that brushed along the hard wooden floor made her way toward her red and black throne. The girl did her best to adjust herself in the overly large chair, her eyes were red and one could easily tell she had been in tears a moment earlier.
“Who are you?” she asked Revan immediately.
“I am Revan Noctis, I’m a Prime that fought with your forces at Midred.” Revan had a sinking feeling as he remembered the name Crimsonheart.
“I am told my father perished facing a large dragon, a dragon which I am also told you were the one to slay.” the girl spoke calmly and Revan had to admit the girl was quite skilled at keeping her composure.
“Your father saved my life, and the lives of many good people, I at the time must confess that I did not know what a dragon even was.”
“Why have you come here?” she asked next demanding an answer.
“The kingdom military forces were needed to make repairs, I was leaving anyway and chose to volunteer to deliver condolences.”
“Tell me what will you do now?” she inquired treating him as if he were suspicious.
“Well I’m not so sure, I had hoped to stay here awhile.” Revan answered truthfully not really knowing what his path was from here.
“Leave.” she said to the Sergeant.
With a bow the Sergeant and his men began walking back down the hall toward the exit. The lady Oviah looked at Revan with a hint of what he hoped was simple curiosity.
“Revan, I wish for you to become my personal bodyguard” she said calmly waiting and watching for a reaction.
Revan for a moment froze, he had memories of his time spent protecting the King that he once served, defending from the many threats that a feudal world offered. Since coming here he had thought the days of being bound to nobles were over but here was this girl asking him to once more take up his sword in her name.
“I’m unsure how to respond.” Revan said considering the offer.
“You misunderstand, I am commanding you to become my new bodyguard!”
“I’m sorry?” Revan asked noticing the girl raise her voice.
“To make up for my fathers passing you will serve me until I feel I have no further need of you.” the girl got up from her throne and stepped toward him.
“Or you can rot in the dungeon for the rest of your existence.”
This girl was truly threatening him, he had felt sorry for her a moment ago but that pity had been replaced with a feeling of a burning anger. He could have drawn his sword right there but looking back into her eyes he did not see one that would follow through on her threat. He bowed his head accepting this temporary fate.
“I will offer my services to you in repentance for your fathers untimely passing.” Revan figured the kingdom had to be fairly safe after all.
An old woman in a grey dress hunched forward gripping tightly a bright lamp as she climbed the winding stairs of one of the towers. Revan continued following her down one of the corridors that lead to a large wooden door.
“This will be your room, it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time but you should find it has everything you could possibly want for a man in a position such as yourself.” the old woman said turning around and slowly making her way back.
Revan grasped once more a large brass key and entered it into the keyhole giving it a turn. The door created open as a cloud of dust blew over him causing him to hackle a few times as he entered. Inside was a basic dark wooden room with a small table and a bed and a chest and drawers off to the side. The blanket and pillows were a deep crimson with black markings that made him wonder if they meant something.
Shutting the door he made his way toward the bed and turned around and sat himself upon it. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but it was better than a roll in a tent or a cell for that matter. This was where he was going to be sleeping for as long as he was in servitude to this girl named Oviah who as he understood would soon be claiming her fathers title, just as soon as the necessary officials made their way to the county.
He wondered just what threats Maple Falls would even have and how hard his work would be. He began to prepare for sleep in the strange bed that was now adopted as his own, laying down his eyes began to collapse overencumbered with the weight of the journey he had undertaken to get here. A few mere moments longer he drifted off into the black.

How long had he been walking for? It felt like days, but was that true? Or was that just the heat he playing tricks on him…
What was he even doing here? He h.adn’t seen a single other soul while here. And why would he? This place is a barren wasteland, nearly no one could survive here. Was he just so stubborn he was taking his ‘anywhere’ word to literally?
Well… It was too late to go back anyway… he would probably die of dehydration or heat stroke before he reached halfway back. What he needed was to find water, especially now that he was human again… he forgot how much effort it took to take care of such a body…
And how much sweat it produced, he had already taken his scarf and jacket off, who knows where they were now. Though judging by how dry the heat was, with so little wind, probably still where he dropped them.
Maybe taking his shirt off will let him last just the little bit longer… he was already starting to see walking turtles of in the distance… he needed all the time he could get… he could even swear they were talking…
“...yeah, and she was so passionate about her interests, I’m telling you he is the perfect person for me.”
“And I’m telling you he is nothing a golddigger KK. If you don’t believe me ask his exes, they- wait, what is that?”
“Nah-uh Kyle, you ain't gonna stop me that easily.”
“No! I’m serious! Look! There is someone of in the distance, he looks like he’s gonna faint!”
“Oh Arceus! Your right! What should we do!”
“Should we take him back to the castle?”
“What if our lord doesn’t appreciate us bringing outsiders without his permission?”
“There’s no time he gonna die out here.”
“You’re… You’re right… Come on, stay with us while we help you… Please….”

The Second Coming.. Rebirth of The Horsemen |

As they reached their destination, Retane took a moment to smell the fresh air. He hadn't had a chance to do so before, after he woke up and learned that Dante's Abyss had started. The Namekian grinned, basking in the shade and the smell of his home's flora and fauna. He spun around taking it all in, stopping only after he remembered he wasn't alone.
They all looked on at him, smiles of their own upon their faces. Jack Frost, and Airyonna had their heads tilted inward towards each other. Alaina took the rear while Probitas, Naturae and Krosst tried to mimic the Guardian of Fun and his partner. I was an odd site with the three of them because the Copy Namekian kept switching from head to head as they had put him in the middle. Probitas and Reatus were off somewhere while Triumpht was still watching Deadpool in his own match up.
The Leader of The Horsemen let out a light chuckle. "Well then! What's next?" Retane had noted the unease in two of his children's eyes, as if they two wanted to run off.
"Actually, somethings come up in the village, so we need to get going." It was Alaina that spoke up, though it seemed herself and her sister both were receiving the same message.
"Don't let me stop you," the Emerald Warrior stated. "Thanks for showing up and looking over mine kids."
"We are one, right?" Airyonna winked as she kissed Frost on the cheek and took off with her sister.
He looked at the other four and knelt down trying to get to a closer height with his children. " Well? Something's wrong with the both of you, so let's be out with it?"
Naturae was the first to run up and give him a hug, "Father I'm sorry, but it's Guu! Something's happened to her and I need to get back to see what's going on. I'm so sorry!"
Ret's eyes narrowed as she pulled back to meet them. "I understand. Give me an update as soon as possible, okay?"
She gave a nod and a loving grin before giving him a kiss on the cheek. Before she left though, Retane grabbed her arms and pulled her back for another hug. "I'm sorry I wasn't there for your hatching."
"It's ok father. I understand it all, I'm just glad you are well. " She offered another smile and took off.
Retane looked then to Probitas who was fidgeting. "Well, boy?" The Green Warrior couldn't help but grin even wider. "What is it then?"
