Two Hours after the battle
Darkness again. Do I really need to be in darkness a second time in a fucking row? It wasn't even the normal kind of blackness either. It was the worst kind; the sort you can never wake up from and cannot see through no matter how hard you tried. It was the kind that you saw when you've been hurt so badly you can't move more then a few feet without getting dizzy. It was a realm of enduring shadows, and only time would tell if he could pass through without getting lost within it.
Just when he thought he would be wandering the world full of shadows for infinite amount of time, he saw a light off in the distance. It was barely noticeable, but Ballad wasn't one to give up on something like this. Squinting his eyes, he locks his view on the luminescence, taking a confident step forward. Before he could really think about his decision, he surged forward, entering the light.
It took a little while, but eventually Ballad was able to part his eyelids a tiny bit, letting out a small groan as his senses came back to him. What the hell happened to me? Raising his head a few inches above the.... ground, he sees that he wasn't actually on the ground. In fact, he was laying down on a brown table with a length similar to his own in terms of height, and he was in some kind of room. The room he was located had a thin amount of mist floating around the place, which thankfully didn't plague Ballad's vision. He also saw that the area had several other tables just like his own, and he was the only occupant at the moment. A thick stream of sweat slides down the side of his face as he leans upward into a sitting position, bending his knees before wrapping his arms around them... and suffering the consequences.
A sharp throb in his chest causes him to fall back down onto his back, moaning. Peering in discomfort, he slowly lifts up his head once more, rolling his eyes towards the center of his body. Around his torso was a tightly wrapped white bandage, which also appeared to have red blood stains coating the inside of it. Huh? Looking down towards his right hand, he sees a similar looking gauze was on his hand. What the hell did I do to get here?
Closing his eyes, he sets all of his injured body parts down on the table, trying to probe his own mind for more information. Let's see, the last thing I can remember is that I yelled at some kid, met a guy with white-hair, then I signed up for the... tournament. That was it! He participated in the tournament! And he had.... lost. In the first round. Against the... mother-fucking RUNT!
Gritting his teeth, he raises his left hand, clenching it into a fist as he slams it down onto the wooden table, only to let out a few obscenities as he earns a grand amount of aching in his fist. "How... how the hell did I lose?!" he shouted, rage overcoming his sagacity, "I had him! I FUCKING HAD HIM! AND I LOST TO HIM?! A FUCKING KID?!"
--------------------------------------------------------------
The male doctor had just got done flirting with his female assistant when he heard a gigantic shout coming from the infirmary. Shit, he's awake again. Turning around, he quickly rushes towards the door to the infirmary, his female assistant close behind him. Moving to the right of the doorway, he takes a moment to gaze at his beauty, who was also currently pinching the collar of her shirt and biting her lip. He friggin loved it when she acted like that. It was... attractive, to be honest. The way her long, brown hair curled against her nice, broad shoulders. The look in her sea-colored eyes whenever she was being taught something new by him. The way her admittedly lean figure suavely walked away from him after lectures. The way her-
"Uh, sir? Sir?!"
Snapping out of his fantasies, he sputters "Oh! Uh.. sorry.. sorry.." in an embarrassed tone of voice, regaining his focus. Oh right, Executioner Ballad. He could still remember rushing out there to recover the body as the crowd went silent, and never really became much louder when he left the field. Shame too. He had become a dataverse sensation within a single day, which wasn't much of an accomplishment, but it was something. Anyways, down to business.
Turning his head towards his female friend, he asks "Alright.. you have the board ready?" She nods back to him, which calms him down a bit. Then, gripping the handle of the door, he twists the handle downwards, pushing the door forwards and stepping inside.
---------------------------------------------------------
Even considering the fact he was in a world of pain, it was astonishing how hardy Ballad was. He had been able to stand up, left hand covering his torso wound, and slowly walk into the center of the room by the time the two medics got into the room. He was still sweating from his eyebrows and other parts of his face, with the mist not exactly helping him from feeling uncomfortable in his winter clothes; it almost made him want to remove his attire, something he had never considered up until right now. His eyes were now wide open, enabling him to see in perfect clarity. Scanning the room, he stops as he hears the sound of footsteps approaches to his rear. Whirling around, grimacing as he clasps his right hand, he notices the two new individuals. They were both wearing perfectly snow-white outfits, with one of them having a bag of some sorts strapped to their hip. The other had a wood, two foot board in her hands, grasping it tightly and raised above her head.
Immediately, the board triggered the rest of his memories to come back. This wasn't the first time he had awoken from his slumber, and these assholes had to put him back to sleep each time he tried to break free of the painful chains that forced him to stay in this poor excuse of a hospital. What was worse was the fact that he didn't even need them to help him. They were a nuisance, and a nuisance only.
Snarling behind his red-scarf, he growls "So, you're going to try to hit me with a fucking stick again, are you whore?" Those words caused the female to flinch, bringing the board down and close to her breasts. The man next to her glared at him, holding out his right arm in front of the woman. Pausing between his words every few seconds, he replies "I know you're angry. You've been angry several times for a while already. But you aren't in proper shape to be moving around. You need to rest."
Ballad wasn't accepting that answer. He bellows "Fat chance I need 'rest,' you idiotic quack! All I need is an hour or so of concentrating, and all of my problems will go away!"
"Then concentrate," the doctor retorted, as if daring him as a a look of dead seriousness formed on his face, "and heal your wounds with the Omnillium you posses, Prime."
"Just you watch, moron. I can easily-"
A shooting sensation blazed through Ballad's chest, causing him to howl in agony as he leans to his left, almost falling down onto his knees. The doctors rushed forward, holding him up by his bend arms before lying him back down onto the cot.

In the end Diablo's probably going to get the Black Gates open some day and we're all gonna die anyway, so we might as well get thrashed!
DISCLAIMER! Do not take this game seriously. Pls gaize. Just don't. Drink responsibly, or even better, don't drink at all. If this game turns you into a raging alcoholic, don't blame me. Kay? Thanks
The Setup
You'll need a functional computer system which is able to access the Omniverse (PC, Mac, iPad, Commodore 64, Raspberry Pi...) and an adequate amount of beverages for consumption. This can be tap water, softdrinks, beer etc. although if you are a manly man you'll use vodka, cognac, tequila etc.
It is recommended that you play with a bathroom within reach in case that you need to throw up and/or pee.
The Rules
Chat-Specific
-1 shot every time Adam says Blargh.
-1 shot for every time someone else follows him up on it.
-1 shot every time someone uses frog- or psyduck emotes. 2 shots if it was Adam.
-1 shot every time someone makes a pun about another character's name. 2 shots if the target of said pun is Yu.
-1 shots every time someone makes a head joke around Mami. If it's Mami herself, 2 shots.
-1 shot every time Kalli twerks. 2 shots if she's used the pink or hee emotes in the same post.
-3 shots every time someone accidentally or "accidentally" posts from the wrong character.
-4 shots every time someone asks a question that belongs to the helpdesk. 5 shots if an angel/seraph/sprite is around. 10 shots if they answer it.
-2 shots every time someone is called a nickname. 3 shots if it's the first time they are called that.
-3 shots every time someone posts a reply to some important plot and people go batshit/hyped over said plot. 4 shots if you didn't know about that plot.
-2 shots every time someone links people to a shady youtube video.
-2 shots every time a discussion about some non-omniverse verse (anime, movie, tv series, youtube series...) starts and you awkwardly back out because you don't know that verse.
-3 shots every time someone talks shit in chat, especially if there's an upcoming fight, to their future enemy. 5 shots if they follow it up with saying they're actually scared of it.
-5 shots every time someone says they're afraid of fighting against Proto Man, Sasuke, Deadpool, Thaal or Luffy (or any of these people's alts). Unless it's Adam saying that, cause he's afraid of everyone so that doesn't count.
-3 shots every time someone talks shit in chat, especially if there's an upcoming fight, to their future enemy. 5 shots if Retane is the one talking shit. Thanks to Gamzee Makara for this.
-2 shots every time Raal goes on about killing everyone in the Omniverse.
-1 shot every time Okor goes on about Nurgle, Nurglites or other Nurgle-related things.
-3 shots every time one of the mods says something in the CBox and at least 3 people jump at them, saying hi, asking questions etc. 4 shots if it's Guu, Proto Man or one of the not very active mods. 5 shots if it's Omni.
Soulsverse-Specific
-1 shot every time someone posts into the meme thread.
Yeah, this lacks stuff. Suggest moar.
Omniverse-Specific
-2 shots every time an IC thread/post is made blaming Omni, theorizing about if he is lying to the Primes or not disclosing something to them about himself or about Omnilium. 4 shots if it's a post from Ururu.
-1 shot every time you look up a thread, only to stop reading after a bit because every post is a small novel.
-3 shots whenever someone posts into the Nexus, trying to find friends, but nobody replies to them so they end up having monologues. Also, a moment of silence to all those which have never made it past the Nexus before getting bored and not coming back.
-10 shots every time an epic quest, saga, sub-saga or general fooling around comes to an anticlimatic ending.
-3 shots every time someone menaces to attack New Babylon. 4 shots if Sasuke replies to it and menaces to banish the attacker. 6 shots if the attacker attacks anyway.
-30 shots if, after multiple back-and-forths where someone threatens to banish someone else, they actually banish that person rather than just talking shit.
Other Stuff
-5 shots every time someone changes their Avatar.
-20 shots if a donator has Omni use a picture of Morgan Freeman as his avatar.
Passed out yet? No? Good. Because I want you to suggest new rules to add to this list! Just tell the rule and how many shots have to be consumed. You'll be given credit if your rule gets to the OP, I don't plagiarize

If you're new to the site, or just changing character, and need your name changed, post here that you need your name changed.
I thought that this would be better than just having people keep making threads about getting their names changed.

Somewhere in the night he was being chased, though he couldn't see by who, or what, it was. All that Devon could see was the grin, the strange ever present grin that followed him everywhere. No matter where he went, or what alley he turned down, it was always behind him. Eventually it would catch up, it would pounce on him from a roof, or he would turn down a dead end, but no matter what he did it always would catch him.
At that, as always, would be the point when he would wake up.
Devon, known to most as Brother Devon, shot up in cot he was sleeping on and after a few moments wiped the sweat from his forehead. For the past few weeks the frequency and intensity of these dreams had increased. Whatever the cause Devon would have to look into it later, for now he had to thank his hosts and then be on his way.
He had been staying with the Vernon family for a few weeks now, the arrangement being that he would stay and help fix the fence and when it was done he would be on his way. They were a nice family and had kept their word, he had three meals a day, as well as a nice cot to sleep on in the garage. It also helped that the man got along with the couples son, Rory, and would watch them for his parents whenever they needed a break. Sadly though his time here was at an end, the fence was fine and sturdy, and the road was calling to him once more.
He got dressed, his usually t-shirt and jeans combo with the white leather jacket, and then wiped the sleep from his eyes with his gloved hands. Feeling a bit more awake he stretched his limbs out before packing up his belongings and taking one last look around his temporary home. The garage had been covered with his clothing, books, and scrolls, which now were stuffed into his ruck sack, and without them the place now looked very empty. His sword, the roman gladius always had with him, lay under his bed were he always left it when he wasn't going out somewhere. Picking it up he strapped it to his waist and then drew the blade, staring at it.
As far as sword went it was pretty plain, a hilt with no markings and a wooden grip, the blade had no decorations other then his name engraved in it, leather scabbard, and little else. While it was a sturdy sword it was nothing special, but holding it always brought back the memories of when he was presented it. Roman history had always been a fravourite subject of his, so when the master-at-arms had to decide which weapon to train Devon in this is what he had presented him, he said it was an early birthday gift of course. Even holding it now brought back memories of that time and place.
With a sigh Decon replaced the blade in its' scabbard and took one last look around. It had been nice place to stay, but like all things it too must pass. Making his way from the garage into the house proper Devon navigated into the kitchen where he saw Kathy Vernon and his husband Mike waiting for him, a plate of eggs and toast with a large cup of coffee waiting there for him.
“Figured ya'd need this before ya go.” Mike rumbled to him in the low tone of voice of his, to which Devon bowed his head and thanked the man.
“Yes, thank you Broth... er...I mean, Mike. Thank you, you didn't have to, but, thank you.” Devon had learned in the first few days here that calling everyone brother or sister as he normally would do was not the proper thing to do. It was Mike, Kathy, Rory, and nothing else would do. Devon had liked the family instantly from that point on.
”Of course we did!” Kathy told him, smiling that ever lovely smile of hers! You know the kind, the ones that would melt even the coldest of hearts. ”You helped us lots with that fence, and were never no bother to us! It is the least we could do. Now hush up and eat!”
The young monk had learned not to argue when the law had been laid down so clearly so he nodded, sat down, and ate. The eggs were perfect, as always, over east just the way he liked them. The toast smelled great, rye with a good helping of butter! The coffee was just the way he liked it, how did that saying go? Black as night and as sweet as sin, though Devon didn't really like that sin part, you don't have to be religious to not like sin, still it was just a saying he guessed.
After he finished devouring his food he got up and bowed to the both of them, thanking them again for everything. They tried to give him money again, as they did almost every day for the past week, but he declined. They needed to much more then he did, plus he had made a vow to not gain personal wealth for himself, and this was something he took very seriously. The odd times he was forced to take money he only used the bare minimum to survive, he always donated or gave away the rest. As he was heading out of the ktichen a voice called to him.
”Don't forget to say bye to Rory before you go!” He turned back and smiled, nodding his head, of course he wouldn't!
“Of course not Kathy, again thank you, both of you.” Turning around Devon left the kitchen and made his way down the hall. He came to the living room, where he assumed Rory was by the sounds of the cartoons coming through the closed door, and reached out for the handle.
How do you tell a child that had grown accustomed to having you around that you now had to leave? With a sigh he held on to the door handle and twisted, opening the door. Instead of the living room he was greeted by a flash of white light as the world around him melted into nothingness.
................
Devon opened his eyes slowly, staring up into what seemed to be a vast expanse of, well, white and little else. Sitting up he rubbed his eyes and then sat there holding his temples due to having a massive headache, one so bad that if he actually drank he assumed this would be what a hang over would feel like. Something in the back of his mind was bothering him, he vaguely remembered something about a grinning thing, it was man shaped but there was no way he could have called that human. Maybe it had been another dream. Maybe the whole thing had just been a dream and he was still in the cot in the Vernons' garage. Reaching down he expected to feel the steel pipes in the edge but found only bricks, and this of course caused him to really focus on his surroundings. He was not in the garage, not one bit, he was in fact in front of a very fancy stone fountain in the middle of a white expanse.
He sat there, not moving nor blinking, for a few moments when all the memories came flooding back. The grinning man and his words.
Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”
Right, that had happened. He remembered now because at the time he had the feeling that he should have been taking notes, but the thing didn't really wait for him to do so, plus he was a little bit awe struck as well. What else had it said again?
Quote:This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.
Ah yes, that stuff that was apparently very important here, this Omnillum that he was supposed to collect. The whole thing didn't sit well with him, it sounded too much like trying to amass wealth. He hadn't noticed it but as he was thinking about the stuff he had apparently taken out a piece of it and was idly playing with it, a round little orbs of a strange metal. Why had it been orbs? They aren't really something you can pack into a pocket well, why not something a little more easy to carry?
Almost as if it was reacting to his thought the orb flattened out in his hand and because a small, thin, rectangular sheet, and at the centre was that grinning face that would haunt his nightmares for weeks to come. That at least took care of that problem for now, but it did bring up other areas of study. It apparently reacted to his thoughts, that was plan enough, so what else could it do? With a sigh Devon took the sheet and stuffed it in a pocket with the rest of them. Wait, there were more? Taking them out of his pocket he noticed he had a small stack of the bills that he didn't remember having before. The more he learned about this place the more it vexed him. Putting the Omnillum away the monk decided to take a look at the fountain, as it seemed to be the only bit of anything around, at least in the immediate area.
Strangely enough the fountain itself reminded him of one back at the monastery, the water for it came from a local spring and was actually rather cold and refreshing, he wondered if this would be the same? He had just dipped a hand in, noting that it was indeed as cold as the water he remembered, when a voice commented just as he was bringing it up to his lips.
”You actually gonna drinks that?” Letting the water fall back into the fountain Devon looked around for its source but couldn't see anything, that was until a cough brought his gaze down. What he saw caused him to jump back, bumping into the fountain, with a short cry of surprise. Standing there, no taller then his knees, was a small green creature. He couldn't say exactly what it was, it was certainly like none of the other races on his planet, though maybe if you crossed a halfling with a head of cabbage and a.... no. Well, maybe? No. Maybe a goblin, though weren't they just fairy tales?
Realizing that he had reacted rather poorly towards this, fellow he guessed, he might have come off as rather rude.
“I am, uh, well, sorry about that. Sir. Sorry sir.” Devon sort of scratched at the back of his head while he spoke, feeling and probably looking rather awkward towards the situation in general. The thing was looking at him oddly, Devon wasn't sure if the green creature was going to hit him or what.
”Yous new here?” Devon sort of just nodded, not daring to speak at the moment, though this seemed to break the tension a little bit. ”Ah, S'ok. I'll let 'er pass. Still I wouldn't drinks that!”
Devon looked from the fountain, to the one speaking to him, back to the fountain, then back to the speaker.
“Ah, ok I guess, sure. Why not?” The creature looked at him and shrugged at the question.
”Not sure what you sees, but that thing is rusty lookings. Waters looks bad too.” Once again Devon did the back and forth between the thing and the fountain.
“Hm, but I don't see that. Strange, does it change for everyone?” The creature shrugged. “I see, have you tried to drink from it? Has anyone? Would it be safe, do you think? I wonder if it is magical, it would have to be I guess. Perhaps someone has tried studying it maybe?”
”You talks too much.” With that the small green creature just turned and walked away, it probably had better places to be.
“Oh, ok, well, good bye I guess.” There was no reaction to his words, as the thing was already well on it's way. Still, this was something! It didn't make much sense and just brought up even more questions, but it was something!
Sitting down he pulled off his ruck sack and dug through it till he found what he needed, a small leather bound journal and a pencil. Quickly he got to sketching out the fountain and writing what notes he could from his limited exchange, maybe someone else would come by he could ask about it, someone a little more knowledgeable and a little less green.

| The Fallacy of Writing a Winning Fight |

Hey folks, we're bout to enter a big, multi-tiered, super awesome competition. What I'm gonna address here is the idea that it will be your WRITING that wins the rounds for you. Most of the fights on the Omniverse, and especially the Colosseum fights we are about to embark in, are decided by writing ability. Of course, we all have stats, ability benchmarks and ways that our characters are restricted, that's part of RPG aspect of the site. Higher stats, Moves, Powers and abilities are things that give you WRITING FLEXIBILITY, allowing you to do more with your character, which usually allows you to have more entertaining posts!
However, these things are still not the deciding factor, it's your writing. Having a stronger, faster, BETTER character than your opponent DOES give you an advantage: writing flexibility. You can do much more with a story if your character has fun Moves, interesting Powers, and can be justified in being better at attack or defense or fighting ability than their opponent; they are more tools in your toolbox. But those tools only amount to how you use them.
So, my main thing here that I'm trying to dispel is the idea that characters of higher level and with more Moves etc have an INHERENT score advantage. No, they don't. They have the advantage of writing opportunity. If you create a more INTERESTING NARRATIVE with straight 1s in your stats and no moves, then you can win the round against Mega-Power-Ranger-Vampire-Werewolf-Wolverine who writes like garbage.
Also of note: just because your CHARACTER is losing a fight doesn't mean your WRITING is. If you write a compelling story about trying to pull a victory from nothing; if you are beaten, saggy and ruined while your opponent stands over you like a sterling-silver Superman, and you your writing evokes EMOTION, it evokes an ENTERTAINING NARRATIVE, then you will WIN THAT FIGHT.
So yes, strategize about your Moves. Think about your approach. Plot and scheme. But don't get too wrapped up in the numbers.
Get wrapped up in the story.
Recap of grading card:
"Description and Clarity:
This section covers how effectively the writer created the world around the reader. Making sure that the reader can understand what is being described, using vivid or appropriate descriptions of items, events and people in the story and having good word choice all go into this section of the review. Note that using “purple prose” is not always effective, nor is consistently using flat, dry description. A writer that gets a good score in this section draws the reader into the world and allows them to see through the eyes of the character/narrator.
Voice:
No two writers write in the same style, nor should they. Even individual stories call for individual writing styles, a mood that creates a tinted lens through which the story is viewed. This is traditionally called the “voice” of the writer and it is a very important part of writing. A writer with a high score in this considers tone, pacing and including/disincluding detail throughout the entire story.
Character:
Character development, the actions and motivation of characters and dialogue are all important in this section. The goal is to create “round” characters as opposed to “flat” ones. Making the people in your writing seem real, not just archetypes following a plot progression is the goal here. The writer should consider who the people they are writing as are as individuals, why they take certain actions, their personal problems and boons, how they interact with the world around themselves and how they approach problems are all considerations for a writer in this section. Note that not all GOOD characters are LIKABLE characters. If you really hate a character that’s well written, this section deserves a good score!
Story:
Every body of creative writing, no matter how short or long, follows a storyline. How well the themes, events, messages and twists grab the reader is what makes the difference between a decent story and a great story. The writer must capture the reader’s attention hold it with the actions of characters and the world around them. This isn’t to say that a writing must be packed with action or intrigue, even something as simple as eating breakfast can be made into a great story. The presentation of events and how those events tie into the writer’s voice is what makes it good reading.
Grammar and Spelling:
This is the clerical work of the body of work. Spelling, punctuation, grammar and anything else that can be considered technical goes into this section. Generally every major grammatical error per 500 words moves this section down one grade."
"1: There is room for improvement. Generally the reviewer should highlight how the writer could improve this area as well as direct them to outside sources that can give more help.
2: This section was about average. The writer has room for improvement but about par with the rest of the site’s writing ability. Reviewer should highlight areas to improve and site specific errors or weak spots.
3: This section is above average. The writer has shown a competency higher than the average writer on the site, but can still notably improve. The reviewer can be vague with their ideas for improvement but still include specific details and weak spots.
4: This section was fantastic! The writer took the reins and really took the reader on a journey. Few errors or room for improvement can be found by the reviewer but anything that the reviewer feels could be cleaned up should be noted.
5: This section is one of the best the reviewer has ever seen. This level of writing is on par with professionals with very few errors and the reviewer should have a hard time finding room to improve. This grade should be handed out rarely, and only to the very best writing!" (There will likely be almost none of these assigned during the tournament, so just be aware of that.)
Quote:This is a retelling of a past event which occurred during Alex's life before the omniverse. It is rated "M" for its violent nature which can be construed as excessively graphic and constant violence throughout. As a sidenote, since this occurs prior to his arrival in the omniverse, Alex has access below to abilities which he does not currently possess within the RP. This is, once again, a retelling of past events.
It was just as Alex had feared. Raven was now dead. Any hope of restoring the old royal family to the throne – and, by extension, earning back his title of Archknight – was lost. There was no hope for the planetary kingdom of Ichor, now ran by a tyrant who called himself ‘Lionheart the first’ , there was no hope for the children and youth whom had joined his and Raven’s side, lured in by promises of a brighter future which would now surely never come, there was no hope for himself to ever step back into the glamour of nobility – which, he had by now lost the taste for – in a world where his family name had lost meaning. Still, in spite of all this, there was one thing that kept him going forward. One sentence his friend – he was told – repeated over and over to his underlings as he was dying of blood loss from his injuries sustained at the hands of the behemoth cybernetic beast known as the ‘Dreadmore’. One sentence which, having been repeated over and over in his head, had distorted itself into a paraphrase and then changed into an order. The exact wording was; “Don’t worry. Alex will take care of everything. You will be fine.”, with time, as he was recovering from holding the corpse of his friend in his arms it became; “They don’t have to worry. You will take care of everything. It will all be fine.” Now, as he was driving towards the castle with nothing other than his determination pushing him forward, it had morphed itself into “Kill that bastard and crush everything and everyone that gets in the way!” At this point, he was more than happy to oblige such a request. He needed to pass his frustration off on something and there was no target preferable to the facial features of the man whom had robbed him of his childhood, his family and his nobility.
“Don’t worry about a thing Raven… I’ve got this.”He uttered to the thought of his dead childhood friend and the only king he would be willing to recognize which now echoed through his mind. This furthered his drive and so he revved the engine of his motorcycle as he continued speeding forward. He knew he would encounter resistance and – in fact – hoped he would. It would not be right for the king to be the only one who pays for what had happened. After all, he had viziers and strategists whom no doubt aided in planning the attack. He had generals and commanders men which made the attack possible at all. He had the support of the people without which he could not have conducted such an assault in broad daylight. He had men which made the assault possible at all. Yes, it was obvious now, every death, and every ounce of collateral damage, and every violent act he would perpetrate on his way to the king and whatever torture he would enact upon the king himself was entirely deserved. He revved the motor once more as he saw the gates of the castle approaching.
The massive fortress standing before him was almost frightening to behold and most certainly imposing. Its gigantic ramparts once bore the symbols of the Everfall family; a tasteful black background bordered by gold with a giant bird, its wings extended and its head looking down benevolently but coldly upon the people sharing this golden hue. Now however, it was ornate with the red banners on which were portrayed the head of a lion, a purple heart which matched the ornamental borders imprinted upon its forehead. The words ‘Think with your Heart.’ Now replaced the motto of the Everfall family atop the main gate. Before, what could be read was; ‘Life beyond Pain.’ Personal feelings aside, Alex did have to admit that the first was somewhat better than the latter if only in terms of meaning and for the value of the pun, but it lost its meaning when spewed from the lips of hypocrites.
What mattered more than the redecoration at the moment however were the patrolling guard before the gate, the man ramparts, and the one-armed Dreadmore sitting atop the castle, no doubt the one responsible for his beloved friend and king, Raven Alister Mandrake Pyro Axel Gregory Everfall the sixth. Alex grinned at this realization; it seemed – in paraphrase of the proverb ‘killing two birds with one stone’ – that the closer he got to the castle, the more birds he would be killing with this next throw.
Slowly, he rose his hand to his necklace and focused, he needed something with massive firepower and he knew of just the thing to call upon. There was no way about it now, it was too late to go back, this much was clear as he saw one of the guards near the gate pull out a communicator while the others readied their weapons. “The carnage is about to begin.”
The necklace took on its glow. The hue of the glow was both ominous and beautiful in Alex’s eyes, but to most of those whom had heard of him it had come to hold a completely different meaning; pure, unadulterated terror. This glowing, jagged emanation of energy seemed shaded too far red to be this bright and seemed too aggressive with its sharp edges to be a mere light. In fact, it somehow seemed to imbibe the environing light rather than shine outward, giving it a blackened edge. Truly, even by sheer common sense standards, it did appear to be something undeniably worth fearing.
The thing that truly made it something to fear however, was its reason for existing. Every time the shine came, Alex would erupt from it with a new weapon in hand. Every time Alex had a new weapon in hand, it was to be pointed at something. Ipso Facto; every time the glow came, someone died in an unpleasant and – usually – gory manner.
This revealed itself to be particularly ringing true at this point in time as what came forth from the necklace was none other than the monstrous firearm known as the ‘Hellraiser’; a seven foot long, two foot thick missile launching black cylinder. Along its length were decorative silver chains which criss crossed along several horned skulls. The muzzle of the weapon itself was, in similar fashion, the head of a horned hound, its fanged jaw ajar to allow for the ammunition to exit. A skeletal left hand protruded from the right side of the weapon, forming an ‘O’ with its digits which functioned as the sight. With the lock-on feature and heat-seeking propriety of the shrapnel missile, the Hellraiser did not just look like an overpowered machine of destruction, it was an overpowered machine of destruction.
Almost immediately – perhaps in less time than it took to even aim the device, given its sheer weight – Alex had locked the Hellraiser upon the Dreadmore which stood atop the monstrous fortress. His brow lightly furrowed as he looked upon the Dreadmore through the red tinted lense of his weapon’s sight; The monstrous amalgamation of an ogre, a behemoth class dragon, a beholder of the gazer, 500 pounds of cybernetic armor and an Enzeek laser cannon. It was truly a monstrous creature. The kind of monstrous chimera it would take to take down his most trusted friend and comrade in arms, Raven. The kind of monstrous chimera that did manage to take down his most trusted friend and comrade in arms, Raven. The king of monstrous chimera that was about to eat forty pounds of explosive metal death right in its smug face. “I’m not even going to pretend this isn’t about revenge you twisted freak of nature.” Alex uttered bitterly, and with that, he pulled the trigger.
The thundering roar of a beastial hound from the bowels of hell echoed through the landscape as the gargantuan missile saw its tail ignite. Blazing through the cannon like the device of death that it was, it was regurgitated by the Hellraiser’s deformed maw and pierced the skies in a thundering sonic boom, reaching speeds which exceeded Mach 3 within microseconds and heading directly for the massive beast before it. On its end, the semi-organic chimera – a combination of the penultimate technology the world of Ichor had to offer and the monstrosity of its most lethally capable fauna – had little time to react. Bracing itself, it shot forwards its massive remaining arm, hoping that its massive metallic fist would be able to deflect the incoming projectile. Unfortunately for it, this proved a fruitless attempt as would be seen by all onlookers, its arm blowing apart in a massive conflagration which bordered on the ridicule as large pieces of shrapnel long enough to fell an ox individually lodged themselves into various parts of its body. The monster reacted to this by violently falling backwards, crashing into the ceiling of the citadel and plummeting down to the floors below due to its sheer mass. A moment could have been taken there to make an observation upon the myth of David and Goliath and its moral that ‘the bigger they are, the harder they fall.’ But nobody present – especially not Alex who was both steering his motorcycle and reloading the Hellraiser – had time for a badass one liner at this point. Instead, what came out of his mouth as he pointed the titanic weapon forward was; “Don’t feel so left out, assholes; there’s more where that came from.” And once again, the trigger was pulled. The cannon roared, and the target - namely the gate of the castle and very much everyone in its immediate vicinity - was blown to smithereens. Giblets, bits, and smithereens.
With the path before him now cleared of obstruction, Alex allowed the Hellraiser to return within the holdings of his unicursive hexagram pendant and revved the motor once more before activated the nitro function. Blazing blue flames escaped the pipes as the fuel consumption of the monster chopper was kicked into overdrive and it, along with its rider, nearly took off at their sheer speed, soaring towards – and after a mere few seconds, into – the castle with blinding speed.
The explosion had – of course – not gone unnoticed however, and by the time he’d reached the gate guards had already began to accumulate within the main hall. Unlike the external guards, those of the interior’s weaponry was more oriented towards mid-range and melee so as not to damage the priceless possessions found within the castle, but those on the outside would likely come pouring in from behind him relatively soon.
With all this in mind, Alex violently brought his left foot to the jade floor of the building, cracking it and causing his vehicle, in its momentum, to launch his other foot up alongside with itself. Spinning in place, he was carried in into a one thousand and eighty degree spin by the motorcycle’s sheer propulsion before letting go of the handle and – by extension – launching the roaring nitro-infused behemoth of a ride through the room. A panicked guard haphazardly tried to guard the incoming blow with his sword and – unfortunately for him – this struck the gas tank, resulting in a conflagration which caused a downpour of mangled organs and bloodied limbs.
Despite the traumatic event, few had time to focus on the horror of the scene as they had their focus set on its cause; Alex Silver, full name Alexis Belphegor Yasmine Stride Silver the tenth of his name, co-leader of the Abyss Ravens and one of the three most sought after criminals of the globe under the alias of the bloodless carnage, a title he earned due to his unnaturally pale skin and the scenes of monstrous bloodshed he leaves in his wake such as the one which had occurred mere seconds ago. In a mix of terror – as they recognized the man before them - and rage – both caused by the murder of their allies and the hatred they held for the man - the disorganized, panicked guards launched after the now unarmed man and just as they thought they had a standing chance… then came the glow.
“Ladies and gentlemen…” The voice of the tall, horned man erupted from the blinding flash of crimson light, uninterrupted as a result of the guards bracing for impact as their eyes adjusted to the luminescent conflagration. “...allow me to present to you…” As he spoke, the light seemed to die off and, from its smoking remnants, the silhouette of Alex began to erupt. “…Malevolence…” as its name was uttered, the large weapon pierced through the smoke on Alex’s right, revealing itself. “…and Bloodlust…” as announced, the other weapon burst through the smoke on the opposite side, the cloud dissipating almost immediately afterwards to reveal the rebel dramatically holding both hefty weapons aloft just overhead, his arms completely extended and creating a one hundred and twenty degree angle overhead.
The two weapons were nearly identical in their appearance, save for their color schemes being inverted. Malevolence had a large black box for its guard, within which was encased its motor, and its long – seven foot long in fact – blade of the same color was encircled by a silver chain decorated by a myriad of small daggers. The hybrid between a chainsaw and a sword, like the rest of Alex’s arsenal, had a horned skull upon each side – also silver in color – and decorative silver chains criss-crossed around the box. The handle was a black helix of leather and its pommel featured another silver skull. In contrast, Bloodlust shared the same design with the black and silver interchanged where applicable. Both weapons had their names printed on each side of the “blade” in crimson as though splattered upon them with blood. Though in light of how much bloodshed they had caused in the past, it was impossible for it to be anything other than immovable paint. “Enough with the theatrics…” Alex uttered, pulling the triggers on both weapons and – in doing so – starting the rotations of the bladed chains. “…it’s time for a massacre.” And without another word, he launched forward into the still terrified crowd which gazed upon these tools of manslaughter with panic in their eyes. Alex, for himself, had a grin printed upon his face.

Do physical traits which are clearly stated to be owned by your character in your Character Profile such as - for example - claws, horns and a tail (which applies to my character) need to be purchased as moves to be used? I figure the answer is yes seeing as they are technically a weapon, but don't want to assume and waste OM if it's not necessary.
