Warning Spoilers Ahead
July 23rd, 1989 Miami, Florida

NE 144th Place
Lebedev's Villa

"I can see where this is going... heh!" said the father sitting at his desk in his main office with dual wield smgs lying on the ground along with two used clip but the man has spots of the blood from his hands that got cut gruesomely from the throwing knives that Jacket used from the deceased female ninja bodyguard.

"I'll spare you the pleasure!" grunted the father reaching in one of the drawers of the desk pulling out a pistol with his right hand then shoots himself in the brain causing half of his head to explode with the bullet coming out of the other end making an even more mess of blood and gore.

Satisfaction filled with Jacket seeing the father dead in his chair but as for the chicken masked vigilante turns back to the double doors leading to the main entrance of the hq that he came in, the office phone began to rang loudly getting the man's attention before he left the scene. Jacket walks over to the front of the desk where the phone was sitting at on Jacket's right. He picks ups the phone without speaking a word but filled the line with silence when the telephone was placed close to the right ear that the mask covered.

"Hello...? Hello!?" said the caller with a old shaky voice sounding like an elderly man.

"What's going on down there? I'm trying to get some sleep!" continued the caller in a grumpy tone.

The line was filled with quietness with Jacket still standing there not saying a word.

"Is there anyone there? Can you hear me? Hello?" questioned the caller trying to figure out who he was talking to.

"Goddamn phones! I fucking hate these things!" ranted the caller with frustration.

Once again, silence filled the line but the caller soon hanged up and so did jacket clicking the phone back in it's place. The gun that the boss used on himself lied there next to him along with one of his used smg. Jacket felt that he was not happy yet and he had one more job to do. He walks over and stands next to the sitting deceased corpse of the father and grabs the pistol off the ground and carries it with his right hand in the fashion with the gun pointing towards the ground in a non-hostile way. An elevator was opened in the far left corner of the office that has only one button which was up. Jacket who was armed, walks in the elevator and sees there was two floor buttons which was ground level and second floor. He presses for the second floor and the elevator begins to lift upwards. After half of a minute standing there, the doors open to the second floor with a hallway that has two brown wooden doors on each side. For the floor, it consisted a blue and green luxurious carpet along with the purple tile floor.

Jacket steps out of the elevator and starts walking down the hall with the gun towards the door in front of him. It wasn't locked which Jacket opens the door and sees the room was a good size bedroom with the same tile floor, a L shape couch that had the same color as the hall rug while a telephone on a lamp stand sitting next to it, three big tropical plants in big pots were spread out sitting in parts of the room, an king size bed that the blankets even pillows having a light green color with a night stand that was littered with many meds on top sitting next to it along with one of the plants, a tiger skin rug is placed in the middle of the room and in front of it is three plaques on the wall consisting carnivore animals. There was an old man sitting in a wheelchair not far away from the outside balcony looking wore and tired. Jacket walks over to the old man who noticed him when he entered the room.

"Ah, so your the one causing the ruckus? What's your business here?" said the old man with a cough at the end of the sentence.

"Actually... why don't we just skip to the details?" offered the old man looking at the masked vigilante.

"I've done so many horrible things... Nothing seems to really matter anymore, does it?" stated the old man.

"I'm not going anywhere, as you can see... Just go ahead and do what ever you came here to do." said the old man knowing his destiny then closes his eyes.

Jacket stands there in silence for a minute then raises the gun aiming at the old man's head. BANG! The trigger was pulled and the old man's head kicked backwards with a bullet hole in his forehead that had blood running out plus a splattered of blood sprayed out behind the wheelchair from the shot. After killing the man, Jacket drops the gun and turns to the balcony doors with two big rectangle glass windows on each side of the doorway. The masked vigilante walks towards the balcony then opens the doors causing to swing outwards. A breeze filled the air outside with the view consisting the skyline of Miami with the sun setting and the glistening waterway. Jacket stands outside on the balcony and takes off his mask throwing it to the side.

He reaches in his jacket pocket pulling out a cigarette from a pack and puts it in his mouth. A lighter was taken out of his blue jeans pocket and begins to light the cigarette. After lighting the tobacco, he puts the lighter back in his pocket and starts to inhale the smoke. The butt is taken out of the mouth from his right hand and puffs out a cloud of smoke into the breeze carrying it away. Jacket reaches in his left pocket of the pants and pulls out a photo.

[Image: hotline_miami____honolulu_by_magntaa-d970xlx.jpg]

No need to thank me, kid. it's on the house. You would've done the same for me, right?

The photo in jacket's hand waves a bit from the breeze. It starts shaking loosely in his hand as the grasp gets less tightening. Suddenly, the photo leaves Jacket's hand flying free in the wind being carried on along above the waterway. Still, Jacket stands on the balcony puffing smoke while the sun is starting to set as the city's lights start slowly glowing brighter from the less sunlight. All of a sudden, time stops all around Jacket then one of the three masked strangers that looked like himself appears next to him leaning their back on the balcony with both arms resting on the balcony's hand rail. The face was hidden with the familiar chicken mask that Jacket was wearing earlier.

"So you think this will be it then that this will be the ending of all things that you have done. I wouldn't necessarily have that mind set right now due to the fact that I have a feeling it's just the beginning." said the masked stranger looking at Jacket which his body was consumed with this yellow glow effect around him as if there was a spotlight above shining down.

Jacket looks back at the stranger with no words to say but still has the burning cigarette in his mouth. For the facial expression, it was just straight and didn't really have any emotion for this moment.

"As time goes by, we sometimes have to move to different and unfamiliar places which is normal to happen." continued the stranger in the same position.

Jacket takes his eyes off the stranger and turns his head facing the frozen skyline once again.

"Don't worry, you'll see soon what I'm talking about." finished the masked stranger then vanishes as time flows again with sun slowly disappearing.

As the sun is setting, Jacket can see the sun behind the skyline start to glow really bright unusually and keeps getting brighter as dusk is about to take over. The light from the sun became so bright it blinded Jacket with whiteness leaving him in confusion.
Storyline Interest Check - The Emperor's Will.
Posted by: Weiss Schnee - 01-13-2017, 11:06 AM - Forum: Omniverse Discussion - Replies (25)

The faction of Coruscant is perhaps the strongest in the Omniverse. It certainly doesn't use magic to the same extent that it's opposite, Camelot, does, but the massive city-scapes technology and grandeur is surpassed by few things. Despite being harried by Miscreants, rebels, and monsters at every turn, Coruscant has survived, and even thrived, despite it's opposition.
The peace and stability brought to Coruscant is not done without effort, though. The emperor's intellect and strength are an obvious reason for that, but not even he could manage the thousands of problems that plague Coruscant and it's outlying colonies, such as it's outpost in the Vasty Deeps.

Even so, the Emperor knows how to delegate, and for difficult tasks, he calls on the best the empire has to offer to fight, for the future of the empire and the peace of it's citizens. His stormtroopers and space marines are, certainly, powerful enforcers, and are second to none as peacekeeping forces. The Empire's primes are powerful mainstays, either independently policing the realm, or safeguarding the imperium from their homes and roles in Coruscant.

But sometimes, the Empire needs something else. Missions that are too difficult, too open-ended for a regular soldier to handle effectively. Cases too sensitive or too private to give to any of the fiercely independent primes that have appeared in the recent wave. Situations that the higher-ups of the Empire are too busy to handle, or so sensitive that their all-too public profile would become a hindrance to completion.

In these cases, the Empire calls on the Coruscant Special Operations Regiment, or CSOR - a small group comprised of a handful of especially skilled forces. Their leader, hand-picked by the emperor, chooses select individuals from the other branches of the Coruscant Military and peacekeeping forces to serve - occasionally, he's even been known to enlist a civilian, so long as they agree to go through the appropriate "Catch-up" training. Every member of this force is a highly skilled enforcer, able to take on any mission with a wide range of skills. Additionally, and notably, every single member, without exception, is a secondary. Despite how this seems to be a disadvantage, it's commander is of the firm belief that those without the fear of death cannot possibly work at maximum efficiency on missions of this level of danger. His statement may well be true - CSOR is one of several special operations branches under Palpatine, but it's record is impeccable, and even with the danger of the
And soon, it's newest Squad will be put to a test against an enemy unlike anything CSOR has taken on before...

-------------------------

Alright, so OOC explaining ime:

In the Vein of the Secondary Saga, the Emperor's will is planned to be a guided storyline for those interested. While we won't be going for any void quests, you will be undertaking difficult challenges with a Secondary that you create. Unlike in the secondary saga though, all of you have a common link from the start - you work as one of the Emperor's elite peacekeeping special operatives. For most of you, this will be new, but it's likely you have previously worked for the empire in some capacity - whether as a sailor in the Vasty Deeps, a Stormtrooper policing Coruscant, or even a bureaucrat who used his education benefits to get unusually good with a blaster in hand.

Your job in this storyline is to investigate a plot that seemingly gets thicker the more you look, and to try and unravel a threat - not just to coruscant, but potentially to the Omniverse itself! And unlike a prime, there's no god-child to resurrect you if you fall in the line of duty.

If this sort of quest interests you, feel free to let me know here.

So if you're looking to play an imperial commando, fight off threats to the realm of coruscant, and maybe, if you do enough significant stuff (And if the staff allow it), get to rub it in all of these self-important prime's noses that a mere secondary got personal congratulations from the emperor, at the end of the day.

If interest goes well (and if Staff have no issues with what I'm doing), I'll post a thread to sign up a character with in a couple days. sound fair to everyone?

  Creepers Have No Lines
Posted by: Cupa - 01-12-2017, 07:56 PM - Forum: Coruscant - Replies (2)

I woke up in the late morning hours of the day in a hotel room in Costa de Sol. I rolled out of bed slowly, not wanting to leave the security of my blankets, nor the warmth they provided. Eventually I stood on my feet and stared out the sliding glass door that looked out upon the ocean. I summoned a cup of gunpowder and drank it slowly, getting used to waking up.

I pulled my clothes on, and checked out of the hotel. I decided early that I would head back to Coruscant, though I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to do there yet. Yukki had mentioned something about the Empire searching for people willing to help them with their experiments, and how that would give someone some respect within the Empire. As I crossed the Nexus, I decided that I would help them with an experiment and see where it gets me.

Upon entering Coruscant, I had to go back through their scanning system, as well as give up my already empty bag to be searched, I assume to make sure that nobody was bringing in anything that could potentially be harmful to the Empire. I didn’t bother asking how they plan to stop primes from summoning weapons once actually inside of the city, as I knew it would only put suspicion on me, or get me ignored.

I found the visitors center just inside of the city. Inside were a few pamphlets about different ways people could help the Empire if they wanted to. Most were aimed at secondaries, but a few were geared more towards primes. In particular, two pamphlets stuck out. One was about joining the Empire Peace Division (EPD), and the other was about Empire Research and Development requesting primes to be used in experiments to help better the Empire. Extremely useful was the location of their headquarters on the back of the pamphlet, which allowed me to take a taxi to the building.

I entered the building, and told the lady at the front that I was looking to be involved in an experiment. Upon telling her I was a prime, she told me to sit in a waiting room while she called some scientists upstairs. After about half an hour or so, it was hard to tell with the lack of windows in the building, an assistant came and got me, and lead me upstairs to a decontamination room.

I was told to enter the room and follow the instructions given to me. I heard the door shut behind me, and I was alone in the glaring white room. The room had tiles everywhere, from the ceiling to the floor. The floor had a slight decline to it, headed towards the center of the room where there was a drain. A female voice spoke up through a speaker in the corner of the room. “Please remove all outer clothing for the decontamination process.” Shakingly, I did so.

I was sprayed with water from the ceiling, and then with a thick orange liquid that covered my body completely. After another spray of water, I was hit with burning hot air until I was completely dry. I part of the wall opened, and a drawer came out. Inside of the drawer was a t-shirt and shorts, both as white as the tiles on the ceiling. I put them on, and a door in the wall, across from where I originally entered, opened to reveal a scientist with a clip board.

“Follow me.” I walked behind him as he led me through a maze of white halls. He began asking questions and filling out blanks on his clipboard. “Name?”

“Cupa”

“Prime?”

“Yes”

“Powers”

“I can summon tnt blocks, I can stun people with blinding light, and I can jump pretty high.”

He made a few notes on his clipboard. “Have you been in combat with any other primes?”

“No”

“Okay, please stand here, in the middle of this circle.” I stood on the circle. “What we’re going to do is send a number of things at you. We want you to use your tnt to destroy them all.” I nodded my understanding, and examined around the room. I was in a square room with multiple holes in the ceiling. On one wall was a mirror, and I assumed I wasn’t supposed to hit that. I summoned a lock of tnt in my hand as I waited for the enemies to appear.

I heard a loud buzzer go off, and stone dummies in the shape of humans bean dropping from the ceiling. I Began chucking blocks of tnt at them, watching them being blown to little stone bits. After a few minutes of this, metal dummies began dropping. I destroyed those as well. After a few more minutes, they started dropping metal robots that attacked me.

These took a lot more energy to defeat, and I soon found myself running low on energy, getting sluggish, and taking longer to throw my tnt. Not to mention my throw speed was slowing down as time went on.

About fifteen minutes into the experiment, A robot made of a black stone like material dropped in front of me. I pelted it with my tnt, and watched as the explosions did nothing. With the last bit of my energy, I threw everything I had at it.

I watched it all bounce off, as if it hadn;t been affected at all. I fell to one knee, and looked up at the robot hovering above me. It wound its arm back, and I watched it’s hand stay there for about five seconds before slamming its fist into my face.

And suddenly everything was black.

  The Lunatic's gallery
Posted by: Weiss Schnee - 01-12-2017, 08:01 AM - Forum: The Pale Moors - Replies (3)

Weiss woke up with a thud, a sharp impact on her shoulder forcing her awake as she sprawled on unfamiliar ground.
“Welcome home, Weiss.”  A distant voice called, as Weiss struggled to open her eyes.
Where was she? Last she recalled, that ghastly thing had impaled her, and…
Weiss turned over onto her back, instinctively grabbing at her stomach. Shockingly, she didn’t feel a single mark. If it weren’t for the cuts she could feel in her shirt, she would’ve thought it had just been a dream.

Weiss opened her eyes with more effort than she’d ever put into the task in her life, and immediately wished she hadn’t. Above her hung countless monstrous creatures. Some were things she’d seen in fairy tales - Werewolves, a cruel tale told to discourage children from speaking with Faunus, ghosts, beings who were newly dead.

Most, though, seemed to have a few unifying features - animalistic shapes, gigantic, muscled bodies, and pale white masks that reminded Weiss of the Grimm. These were no grimm though, and as Weiss looked closer, she realized that there was intelligence gleaming within their eyes.

They stood in black marble stands above her, and their gazes were all fixed on Weiss with a look approaching anticipation. Weiss couldn’t help but shiver as a cacaphony of sounds, humanoid yelling and applause combined with beastly howls and completely otherwordly shrieks and chants filled the area.
Looking down at her more immediate surrounding, Weiss realized with a chill just what she’d been placed into.

Gray, dingy sand sat within the dim light of the room, and the black walls all around her were punctuated by doors - many, with barred windows. This was an arena, like one she’d heard the ancient tournaments had been held in on Remnant, once upon a time, or like the coliseum she’d fought Okor Paleblood in.
But those had been held to show the best humanity has to offer. To test people’s limits and encourage them to shine. Weiss looked around at the barren pit she now inhabited, and noticed spatters of crimson mixed among the grey sand covering the circle she now lay within.

This looked more like it was just a horror show. A chill crept up Weiss’s spine as she realized she had taken on the starring role, and she jumped up with as much energy as her shivering legs could give her, placing her hands on the wall as she forced her aching legs to a standing position.

“Weiss Schnee.” That familiar voice rang out, and as she looked up, a single face popped out to her among the crowd.
The woman was tall - taller than Jaune, at the very least, and wore what looked like some 19th century finery in a state of disrepair. A set of knives - no, Weiss realized, they were her Claws - rapped against her legs as she fixed weiss with a terrifying smile.
“Ladies and gentleman, our guest of honor, the prime who will make our army grow to new heights, and become my new… apprentice.” the woman stated with a grin, and Weiss’s hands immediately went to her hilt.
To Weiss’s chagrin, there was nothing but air in the space her hands felt for, and she realized she was very much unarmed. Damn it, what did Saiko do with her weapon--
Hold on a minute.
Weiss looked up to the sadistic murderer at the top of the stands, her arms stretched wide in a gesture of greeting, and knew, without a doubt, that this was Saiko Kiga.
why?

But Saiko wasn’t going to give her a chance to figure it out, as she motioned to a large door Weiss had missed before. There was a screech as the hinges struggled, and the door slid upwards, into the stands above. “And to graciously help her in learning to become one of us, I’ve brought a familiar friend  to assist her.” the woman finished with a smile,
A feral roar echoed as two furry, black limbs lumbered forward,  and Weiss realized how hopeless her situation was.

Black, elongated forelimbs with enough muscle to crush concrete like candy. A skull-like face partially comprised of exposed bone. Two glaring red-eyes on top of a thick, pear-shaped skull.
A fanged, skull-masked gorilla the size of a truck.
A beringel.
A creature of Grimm.
Weiss had seen Beringel in action, and even with Myrtenaster, with her full power, she wouldn’t have had much of a shot at taking one out alone. They were brutal, agile, and built to take and dish out damage above what a hunter of her caliber could overcome.
And she didn’t have Myrtenaster.

“Worried, darling?” the smiling killer stated from above - Weiss wasn’t sure how she knew this either, though it might have just been common sense, but the woman above her had killed hundreds.

“Here. How about I make you a deal?” The woman stated with a grin, walking forward, and onto the air above Weiss, the pale specter of a woman walking across the air as easily as she had the stone walls of the arena - no, the prison - that she’d locked Weiss in.
“Beat the Beringel. Use the strength of a human to… impress me.” Saiko continued, her eyes flitting back and forth between Weiss and the monstrous ape. “And you can go free. Speak with Ms. Rose. I won’t bother you again. Not - once.” Saiko stated with a smirk.
“But only if you do so as a human being.”

Weiss glared at the woman above her with suspicion. Only if she did so as a human being?
“What are you talking about?” Weiss finally snapped. What was going on? Why the hell had this woman kidnapped her. What was the point of throwing her in this pit. Why her?

For god’s sakes, why her?

Why couldn’t this all… stop?

Weiss’s only response was a childish giggle from Saiko, one that scared her far more than the Beringel’s accompanying roar, and Weiss realized her only choice was to play this woman’s game for now.
Looking at the Beringel, and steeling herself against the cold fear that knotted in her chest, though, she really wished she had Ruby with her right now. She was a lot better at finding a way out of an impossible situation.
Weiss planted her feet, ready for the monstrous simians first move. She didn’t have a chance… but it didn’t matter. She was tired of being a pawn. She was tired of being pushed around.
She wanted her life back, and if retaking it required her to win this battle somehow, she’d find a way. She refused to be caged by this woman. She refused to surrender her life.

  Fire Emblem: The Random Stones
Posted by: Simon - 01-11-2017, 09:55 PM - Forum: The Arcade - Replies (5)

If you came into this thread asking yourself, "What the ever-loving crap is this?" then I would be happy to explain.

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is the 8th game in the Fire Emblem tactical RPG series, and the 2nd of the series officially released to America. As the third and final of the series on the Gameboy Advance, it takes many of the features from it's predecessors and improves upon them with refined mechanics, new and improved classes, and a brand-new over-world map allowing free exploration.

Randomizers are a relatively recent trend in video games, primarily for classical ones like Pokemon and Legend of Zelda. It essentially mixes up all the content of a game, such as sprites, characters, events, maps, and items, and then spits it all back out into a brand new game. In this way it can be a clever twist on a game you know and love, and allows you experience it again in a completely different fashion, sometimes requiring outside-the-box thinking to proceed.

I have recently obtained a Fire Emblem randomizer, compatible with all three GBA Fire Emblem games, and have used it on a Fire Emblem 8 rom I have. You can find the randomizer here.

"Yeah, we know all that already, get to the point!" some of you may be saying. Well, then, without further ado, let us begin!

Our story begins on the continent of Magvel, where the kingdom of Renais is under attack by the forces of their former ally, the Grado empire.

A lowly Recruit comes to the throne, surely bringing news to King Fado and his trusted associates...

Unfortunately, the news is not good.

Fearing the worst, Fado summons his daughter Erika to his side, having somehow sired a giant floating eyeball. (God knows what her brother Ephraim looks like.) He asks if she has her special bracelet, and she does. It's probably special in that it was custom-made to fit her at all.

With that, Fado calls over Seth, the noble Falcoknight, to escort Erika to the neighboring kingdom of Frelia.

But Erika sees through her father's demeanor, and knows he is going to stay behind, bearing witness to Vigarde's power. She insists on staying with him, but Fado insists otherwise.

Seth, wasting no more time, somehow grabs onto the floating eyeball princess and runs off, accompanied by his ally Franz, the archer.

It's not long until Vigarde is upon the throne...

Meanwhile, outside the castle, Seth turns to Franz and tells him to ride on ahead to Frelia... without a horse. Whatever, he must be stealthy or something, right?

We're about to go on our own way when we get company. Seth, ever the valiant knight, steps in to face the enemy-
[Image: ssLs5gp.png]

...Uh oh. Looks like he took a page out of Franz's book and traded in his mount for a bow. For the uninformed: Bows are super-effective against flying units.

Whatever, Seth is a badass, right? He can probably still take him!

Unfortunately, this cutscene suggests very strongly otherwise. Despite not being in range at all, Valter nocks an arrow and-

...Oh. :frog:

Well, after that waste of time, we peace out.

Meanwhile, Valter deludes himself into the idea that he actually did anything at all. What a loser.

Over the next ridge, Seth and Erika catch their breath. He apologizes for having manhandled his eyeball of a princess, but Erika is quite forgiving.

Despite his wound being completely superficial, she insists on helping him heal, to which he... politely declines.

Seriously, how would she do it? With those tentacle-nerve-things sticking from behind her? Not a pleasant thought.

In any case, we press on.

Seth calls Erika aside and says that if anything happens to him, she should continue on to Frelia alone. He then gives her a sword.

...Don't ask how he expects her to use it. :frog:

We're about to proceed with the story when we receive our first actual encounter: two of Grado's fighters being chased by a giant freaking spider.
:froggonk:
I mean, we could easily be flying out of here by now and just leave the spider to devour those two, but I guess we've got to make sure it doesn't go following us, I guess?

That's all for this post, tune in next time when I actually fight these dorks.

Rainbow [M] Gun Runing II [Complete]
Posted by: Luci - 01-11-2017, 08:03 PM - Forum: Coruscant - Replies (3)

Luci smokes another cigarette in the garage as Chirpa the Ewok sits in his living room, yelling on his phone. Luci smokes too many cigarettes these days, the multi-colored fumes she exhales clouding the garage and dissipating slowly. She smokes too much, she paints too much, she does anything she can that will keep her busy. She paces the garage, growing slowly more stir-crazy. Luci is also acutely aware of the stress she is putting on Chirpa and his family, and her guilt tends to keep her from voicing any complaints. Chirpa and his family are taking a huge risk in sheltering Luci, both from the authorities and the Orc Mafia. One of the only breaks from the boredom of Luci's recent routine are the occasional briefings from members of the underworld regarding the latest criminal activity. Luci hears the front door open and stubs out her cigarette, hurrying to the living room.

Moss the elf walks in, alone for once. He has his warpaint on, three thin lines of his own blood underneath his eyes in a Native-American style. It used to be just the two, but now Moss is the president of the Westside Knife Ear Warriors, and so he earned his  third stripe. He leans his longbow against the wall and sits on the couch with a sigh. Chirpa and Moss start to talk as Luci brews coffee.

"They had inside information," Moss says in his oddly deep voice. "I heard Gulg was in the area, that sick fuck, but I didn't realize what it meant until Hopper went missing on a scouting run. Gulg must have worked him over good, they knew everything. We didn't even see the stuff, they shot our contacts and took off. And you know, those weren't even my contacts. The Hufflepunks are going to be pissed, that's their main chem supplier."

Chirpa nods in understanding as Luci brings over three cups of coffee.

"Klowdy would have known," Moss says in a miserable voice. "He would have taken every scout and runner off the street as soon as he heard Gulg was in town. Fuck," he adds, as Luci rubs his arm comfortingly.

"Maybe he would have," says the Ewok in his scratchy, high-pitched voice. "Klowdy was a very intelligent man. But we cannot know, as Klowdy has never faced adversity such as this. He has never been so out-manned, nor so outgunned. But then again, I think that Klowdy would be doing everything he could to even those odds."

Chirpa stares at Moss meaningfully. Moss stares back defiantly for a moment.

"I'm not the problem," Moss says earnestly. "I want the westside to unite against the orcs, but nobody wants to poke their heads out because the orcs are going to blow them clean off their shoulders, and I can't argue against that. I can't ask anyone to stand up and say 'fuck the orcs' if it's mean their neighborhood gets burned down or shot up. Instead they'll just hide in their holes, and one day the orcs will roll through their neighborhood and it'll be over."

Chirpa sips his coffee. "Have you thought about what you're going to say tomorrow?" the Ewok asks. Moss laughs.

"Yeah, join or die."

Luci presses her face against the tinted window of the black sedan. Outside, the citizens of Tier-5 go about their day, unaware that throughout their city are black sedans with tinted windows containing killers and criminals of all stripes on their way to a war council. Luci looks in the backseat. Moss is also staring out the window, his lips moving; he is practicing. She looks at the driver, a young but capable elf known as Passion Flower, as he parks the sedan behind a run-down abandoned movie theater. One of the guns Luci stole is holstered at his hip. Two cars are already in the parking lot when they arrive. Moss and Passion Flower exit, and Luci follows.

The three of them walk together, Moss in the lead, Luci and Passion Flower on either side. Their elven war paint burns brightly on their faces.

Chirpa walks up to greet them, flanked by two Ewoks. They could not arrive at the war council in the same car; it was strictly against gang politics. Moss bends down on one knee to embrace Chirpa, then rises.

"Is Korax here yet?" Moss asks, looking over his shoulder.

Chirpa nods. "Yes, he wants to talk to you about the south-west."

Moss groans and pushes open the doors to the abandoned theater, followed by Luci and Passion.

The theater is dank and decaying, lit by flickering battery-powered lights. Moss leads them past the abandoned concession stand and into a theater marked 4. Inside, a swath of seats has been cleared away, creating a ring of chairs all facing each other. A trio of familiar Klingons in vaguely Native-American garb are already lounging in the circle. The one in the center, a hulking Klingon with angry eyes, rises and embraces Moss.

"I am sorry for your loss," says the Klingon that Luci knows as Koloth as the pair break. "Klowdy was a good elf, and a strong leader."

Moss nods in thanks as the theater doors open and Chirpa and his Ewoks enter.

"They'll be here soon," Chirpa assures the group.

Chirpa, Moss, and Koloth, start to walk around the theater together, discussing high-level gang politics and laughing while their lieutenants do nothing to ease the awkward silence. Luci sizes up the other members of the Westside Coalition.

The Westside Coalition was once the strongest gang in the westside, containing over a hundred members from eight different gangs. They are down to just three gangs with thirty members. Moss now leads the Westside Knife Ear Warriors, which boasts fifteen active gang members, including Luci. The Mighty Westside Klingons have only twelve (mostly Klingon) gang members, but are feared across Teir-5 for their ruthlessness and combat prowess. Chirpa leads what remains of the Westside Ewoks, which now contains only himself and his two brothers as lieutenants .

Luci lights a cigarette and offers one to the Ewok lieutenant next to her. He accepts it gratefully, as does his brother. They smoke together in silence.

The doors of the theater are kicked open as the tough young leader of the Hufflepunks arrives, her two mohawked lieutenants glaring behind her. The trio are dressed in a mix of Hogwarts school attire and modern street-punk fashion.

The red-headed leader cranes her neck around, and spots the leaders of the Westside Coalition in a corner.

"Oi Moss!" she calls. "Yeah you, fuckboy! Mind telling me what the FUCK happened to my chem supplier?

  Heaven Nor Hell

Finally, death to the accursed creature that has brought evil into the world time and time again, the Ogdru Jahad, lay dead at the hands of the Half demon known as  Hellboy or in his kin's tongue Anung Un Rama. The end of days has been surpassed, but at what cost the world lies in ruins from the apocalypse. The dragon of rapture dead and the world temporarily saved.

A cloud formed from the dragon and envolved the women that it had possessed, Nimue, stepped forward to Hellboy raising her right arm she stabbed it through the half-demons chest ripping his heart out. Gripping hard on to it she gave him a cold stare "I will not go alone." The demons skin turned pale and blood rushed out from where his heart would be "Son of A". Hellboy vision turned black and he crashed to the floor of Nimue's tower turning to ash only leaving his gun belt.

Hellboy's eyes jumped open to a blinding flash of light revealing a black void staring into what seemed to be an endless abyss. Red's feet wobbled as he rose to his feet. If this was supposed to be the crossroads then it was nothing that it had been said to look like. Hellboy slowly spun around observing the dark void until he spotted a strange silhouette grinning at him before HB could mouth a word the silhouette began to speak.

“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”

Hellboy gripped his oversized right-hand trying to make sense of what this being said, Well that just answered my question, but how did he?

Omni hands you a glimmering orb in which all the colors of the rainbow coalesce. “This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most."

Hellboy tried to step forward but his cloven feet stayed in the same spot. "Yeah buddy thanks for the rainbow orb, but I'd rather you answer me some..."

“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn."

Hellboy's faced tightened, his left hand clenched into a ball and pointed at the figure with his oversized stone right hand.

"Alright man I was going to cut you some slack for whatever the Hell we're doing here, but if you think your going to send me into some random ass-"

“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”  With that, the being disappeared leaving an ominous feeling.

"Hey, I wasn't finished with you! When I get my hands on you, you're definitely going to ans- "  Before the Half-demon could finish he crashed to the ground and his vision blurred back into darkness.

Omniverse Timeline - Updates and Solicitations
Posted by: Alex - 01-11-2017, 10:07 AM - Forum: Omniverse Discussion - Replies (17)

I need to update this thread - http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=164

It's at least an entire year behind, if not close to 18 months.

I got some things I know I need to add, like Volvagia, Heroes' Graveyard, Nippur, Syntech stuff, but I'm going to fish out to the greater populace because I know I can't figure out everything.

The Timeline's for events that resonate across the Omniverse. Your prime joining a faction wouldn't count. I'm fishing for the equivalent of big news headlines, whether they involve your prime, your friends, or your faction. Let me know so I can add them, and don't be offended if I leave out something you shared.

Once I update the Timeline, I'm going to fuse the artefact list into that thread, because consolidation is visually pleasing.

(Thanks to everyone)
