If you want to see where this profile's coming from, viist ~Here~
Character name: Undersiej
Character source: Original
Character history: He has one. It is long and complicated (despite his actual age), involving people haunting him with the intention of causing murder or suicide. You know how that goes. He's traveled over a series of planes of existence with the hope of learning how to never die, ever. He doesn't like to talk about certain times in his life due ot the traumaticish nature they possess, and the memory of certain events still haunt him.
Vaguest shit ever, I know right? That's his story and it's intentionally short.
To make a long story short however, he was hounded from the ages of 22-25 by psions who were trying to prey upon the weak and pick him off as a lesser being. He survived, gaining psionic strength by opening his mind to new possibilities and managed to make his way to the Omniverse once he returned home for the last time (from a hospital visit. ask him about it).
Physical Description: (originals only)
Undersiej is a young, attractive, brown-skinned man.
Noticeable Features: These are things people would notice first. Also included for TL;DR people to glance at (if they made it this far in my profile!)
-Facial Hair: A light smattering of hair lies on either cheek. Has a thick moustache and goatee combo.
-Tattoos: Left Pec (Otoko, a symbol meaning man but also slang for Gay), Right Pec (Lower-case Lambda [Here])
-Scars: 3 light slash marks on left wrist (not deep enough to be suicide attempts), a horizontal burn mark across both undersides of forearms, a vertical V on right calf.
-Piercings: Gauges in either ear, 2 hoops at the top of each ear, tongue ring, septum piercing, eyebrow spike, nipple piercings (hoops
Clothing: Also for TL;DR poeople.
-Black Healer's Cap [Tobogan]
-Goggles [cyan tint]
-Crystal Amulet
-Dog Tags [See Stats; shows alternative stats when flicked]
-Ribbon-Made Tie [Red]
-Spellweave Kinesis Cloak (siyled as a Black Hoodie with his Eye Sigil spraypainted onto the back)
-Flattering Longsleeve Shirt [a see-through blue longsleeve shirt]
-Imani's Bag (a small backpack)
-Flattering Loincloth [a see-through blue loincloth]
-Blue Jockstrap of Silk Pants [a blue jockstrap that can turn into pants (reaching just past the knees) at a command word]
-Sprint Lontras of Seven-League Trackless Steps [vibram 5 fingers shoes]
Mannerisms: Also for TL;DR.
-Walks with a sway.
-Holds his right hand in a funny way when thinking hard, his pointer and thumb coming together.
-Walks with an assumed limp sometimes, a remnant of once having Flat Feet.
-Constantly scratches his left index finger (though this seems to aid in concentration by some miracle.
-The character has rhythm, dancing is so natural that they automatically have the dancing skill at 80% and can easily become the centre of attention on any dance floor, they also have a natural grace about any physical actions, even walking.
Undersiej is lightly hairier than most black men, having even chest and butt-crack hair. His eyes vary in appearance depending on his current demeanor and are typically slitted when thinking. CJ's hair is styled as Freeform Draids reaching his shoulder all around his head, the tips dripping ethereal water that dries instantly. This water comes from having drank a vitality drought (a drought that gives the drinker an extended youth), and gives his face the look of someone only in their early twenties. His ebony skin is home to few blemishes. He is known to morph his features occasionally with mood or necessity.

So, as you know, I have a story I'm doing in the Pale Moors about a Blight (Dragon Age). Somewhere in the Pale Moors is the Arch-demon that started said Blight.
In line with that, I'm also aware that we have the makings of a small group storyline (the Nidhogg Tournament) and aspirations toward one of the unique quests (the Tarrasque). Also, I'm a staff member, which means I have the ability to make certain things a little fancier.
I wanted to see if you were all interested in incorporating the Tarrasque unique quest and the Blight story arc into one larger story with slightly more implications. If the two are combined into one super story, ytere will still be the Tarrasque artefact, but there would also be a second artefact as well (on top of bonus for group storylines).
This is only if people are interested, particularly those with a vested interest in the two other stories.

Quote:Okay. I got my roster up, I got my purchase log up, I've been accepted, so on, so on. But I have to get a post up, or I'm never going to. So here's this! Enjoy my mediocre writing, and reply if you feel like it. Okeh? Okeh.
Crunch. What a sickening sound... Though Mami didn't even flinch.
She felt... Helpless, for lack of a better word. Like she was bound, or like her whole body had gone numb. Only moments earlier, she had been fighting Charlotte, a witch in the Mitakihara area, and had been deep within its barrier - But as if it was but a memory, she could only recall teeth closing around her neck... Have I... Died? Is this what death is like?
Suddenly she was standing at a door - A doorbell had rung, and an elegant-sounding bell chimed through the white-and-gray hallway that had appeared in a split second. The door before her was a dark wood, with ornate gold designs along it, as if to signal the person beyond the door was wealthy, or incredibly important... And as she thought that, there stood her mother and father, with puzzled expressions. No shock was visible in their eyes... But there was some in Mami's. A gasp escaped Mami's lips - A gasp she never let slip, that she never let through her composure - And she darted forward... But something stopped her. Mami blinked and raised her hand to the doorway - What appeared to be an invisible wall stood between the long-parted family members. "We're sorry, darling, but it's not your time yet," a warm, motherly voice chimed, a chime tinged with despair.
Tears streamed down Mami's face and fell to the ground - The ground that looked like nothing but white - And she soon fell to her knees. She wanted to ask why she couldn't stay, why she couldn't be with her family... But she already knew why. Her wish... What a selfish wish it was. Static filled Mami's vision for a moment; The room turned black, the door disappeared, and a new figure was before her, one she couldn't quite make out, that spoke words she couldn't understand. She couldn't move, as if she had been chained in place. No matter how hard she tried... Something was holding her back. But what?
Mami's eyes flew open. A pure white sky awaited her eyes, and about a centimeter of water soaked the ground around her. She heard a trickle of water and saw a fountain behind her - A beautiful, ornate fountain... But dried, salty tears coated her cheeks still. There was no time to worry about family, about what she wanted to happen. She had to worry about survival now, and where she was. More importantly, where Madoka and Sayaka were. How had Charlotte changed her barrier so quickly... And how could a barrier be this empty?
She stood on weak legs and regained her composure. Shortly after, she curtsied, allowing two rifles to materialize on either side of her legs. She picked them up by their stocks, rested them on her shoulders and began to head east without a second thought. With her usual calm eyes and warm smile, she looked as if nothing had ever happened.

Character Name: Mami Tomoe (巴 マミ - Tomoe Mami)
Character Source: Puella Madoka Magica (Iffy on the anime, loved most of the characters)
Character History: Mami Tomoe is, in her Universe, a Senior in Middle School (This might be difficult...) that signed up as a Magical Girl to avoid death in a car accident. In exchange for a wish (Namely, "Save me"), she put her life into hunting Witches and Familiars, both of which are deadly magical creatures that cannot be stopped by normal human beings. She lives alone in an apartment, as her parents passed away in the car accident she was saved from (She neglected to mention saving her parents in her wish due to her desperation). Despite this, she is very kind and often appears to be quite calm and in control of her emotions. She often appears to be quite confident and brave, but in reality she is very insecure on the inside, which is something she rarely if ever shows. Because of this, she has trouble making friends or getting close to anyone. She is experienced in hunting Witches and Familiars, compared to most Magical Girls, and has done much of her work alone. However, she is not adverse to working with others - She received help from some others, such as Homura Akemi, Madoka Kaname and Sayaka Miki, depending on the timeline.
Speaking of timelines, she has participated in almost 100, without knowledge of the former timelines in each one. In each timeline, she performs different actions, but dies each time despite great efforts otherwise - If all timelines are to be considered canon (And they are, though they have no influence over her personality currently), she has killed two of her friends by her own hands, has been beheaded, and has never survived past less experienced Magical Girls despite greater amounts of skill - Likely due to her tendency to mistake bravado for true bravery and her tendency to assume the safety of others is her responsibility alone. As a result of these, she often has gotten herself killed trying to protect others. However... She has proven she can be unstable when the truth is too much, too cruel, to bear. So unstable that she can lose her mind.
She was removed from her Universe seconds before her hundredth death in a time-loop caused by Homura Akemi, at the point where her head would be removed.
Physical Description: Mami has a mesomorphic build - She's of about average height and weight. Her shoulders are far from broad, her waist is rather thin, her hips are slightly broad and her legs are close to equal in width through their entire length. She stands at about 5'4. Her face is very soft in appearance, often displaying gentle, golden eyes and a warm smile - Unless she's fighting, where her smile will fade and her eyes will inch closer to slits. She has a soft, small nose and thin eyebrows. Her hair nearly matches her eyes in colour, but is slightly darker. It is straight and falls just below her ears, at which point two large curls extend out to her sides, with the curls growing smaller and smaller until they reach midway down her shoulders.
As for her dress sense, Mami is rather feminine. She takes kindly to putting flowers in her hair and bows on her shoes, and isn't afraid of making herself stand out visually. Her regular outfit consists of a white, slightly puffy top that reaches midway to her elbows and a corset that wraps around her lower torso. A yellow band stretches down the front of the outfit on her torso, which is adorned with brown straps. Two white stripes nearly rim the corset. An olive-brown slightly loose-fitting skirt reaches nearly to her knees, which is rimmed with dark brown. She wears a pair of dark brown thigh-high socks with very thin vertical silver stripes, and a pair of lighter brown boots with some dark yellow, similar in colour to her hair. The boots reach just below her knees and have small heels, increasing her height by 1".

Stats:
ATK: 3
DEF: 1
SPD: 3
TEC: 3
Starting Proficiencies: Ranged Proficiency (1000 OM), Remote Control Proficiency (1000 OM)
Starting Powers: Master Acrobat (400 OM), Super Jumping - Basic (300 OM), Life Detect (800 OM)
NOTE: The momentary summoning of weapons, which is a trait that Mami holds from her respective Universe, is mentioned in many if not all of these Moves. If this must be changed, please tell me.
Starting Moves:
Multiple Unnamed Muskets - Requires Ranged Proficiency, Remote Control Proficiency (Weapon[s] - 300 OM)
Mami can summon a number of percussion-lock rifles with minimal effort - Typically by pulling them from the underside of her skirt in larger numbers, though she can summon one or two by simply holding her hands out. She can comfortably summon up to a dozen and fire them by pointing at a target, though these weapons cannot be re-fired and must be discarded after use unless they are necessary to block an attack or two (They can handle one or two attacks before snapping in half). As they are muskets, they are less accurate than modern rifles, and thus are most effective in larger numbers, where missing is less of a problem. They can be fired, as previously mentioned, by pointing at a target to be fired remotely or by using the trigger. Bullets are relatively standard. The muskets are uniform, with a light brown wooden stock, a steel barrel and ornate golden loops and laces along it.
Tiro - Requires Ranged Proficiency, Remote Control Proficiency (300 OM)
Mami can summon a large percussion-lock rifle named Tiro - Which is about fifteen by five feet in size. However, it weighs very little and can be used very easily, though it has no trigger, and is simply fired within three seconds of being summoned (It is summoned similarly to how Mami summons her other muskets). It's essentially a cannon with two barrels - It fires two large, round, dark iron cannonballs at its target that disappear on impact. Tiro can only be fired once before the need to reload arises, and while it's possible to do in battle, it's difficult without her opponent being distracted, so she typically avoids using Tiro unless she's sure her shot will count. As soon as Tiro is summoned, it begins charging for a shot, which it fires in the specified time above.
Remaining OM = 900 - Decided to remove Tiro Finale and Tiro Volley for Super Moves later. While they'd be nice to have early on, it might not be the best idea.
I can confirm that I read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

Guu’s actions had disturbed him, but Nyeseth acted as if it didn’t, he was balancing two people on top of himself, if he fell over now then he would look foolish to the two girls, and on top of that, he would drop them as well. So he acted as if nothing had happened, and besides, they were already at the gate.
‘Are you ready?’ Nyeseth asked as he stepped through the gate. As the ground disappeared from beneath them, as if pulled away from underneath him. As quick as it had been taken, it had been replaced with dirt and grass, the sound of crunching dirt could be heard as a hot wind blew past his face, his bangs swaying a little as he looked around.
‘Wait, what’s happened? Last time I was here, it wasn’t on fire.’ Nyeseth said as he looked around at the flames that could be seen through the forest. It wasn’t like he was opposed to the burning of the forest, everything in there did try to kill him last time he was here. But then again, he did feel a little sadness towards the animals, maybe a little sympathy for the dinosaurs. It’s not a nice feeling to lose your home.
Nyeseth placed his hands on Desco and lifted her from his shoulders, Guu somehow managing to keep her balance as he did so, and placed her on the ground.
‘Alright, we’re here… Why did you want to come here?’ Nyeseth asked as he directed his attention away from the fire and towards his two companions.

He was running.
For a moment, he considered why he was running. Where was he running to? How much further would he be running? Could he get there by walking, instead of running? When did he start running, exactly? There were leafless trees around him, a sea of muted grey. Where a blue sky should have been, there was only a wall of clouds, or fog, or something obscure, yet light, he wasn't entirely sure. It suddenly occurred to him that he was lost, and so, he stopped running. Looking around in all directions, he was disoriented, confused.
A flash of white, like a wisp, darted through the trees in the distance, drawing his attention. Not a wisp, he realized, but stark white hair, streaming behind the head it was attached to; a pale, lithe body, running through the barren trees. As he watched this unknown person running, hearing a far-off, feminine giggle, he realized he had done this before. He had done this just now. He would run after her, and lose sight of her, and then forget why he was running. He would stop, and she would reappear, a reminder of the past. He had no choice but to start running again. But he would not forget this time.
He was running.
For a moment, he considered why he was running. But just for a moment. He was chasing something. No, someone. And as he reminded himself, that flash of white hair reappeared, a little closer than before, but still running from him, as if leading him along somewhere. He would follow her.
"Was that so hard, Lex?" she asked. Though she wasn't facing him, she knew he was there. The girl with white hair sat at ease in a wooden chair. With a wave, a second chair appeared on the other side of a small table, but still, she didn't face him.
"Who are you?" he asked, moving to the chair and taking a seat. As he did, the girl turned her face away from him, avoiding his gaze.
"Allow me to defer," she smiled. Or at least, he had the impression that she was smiling. "There are more important questions, surely." As she suggested it, another question popped into his mind, and without thinking, he blurted it out.
"Why were you running from me?"
"You were insufferably dull when you got here," she answered bluntly. "Incapable of retaining anything. You wouldn't stay in one place, always walking off into the mists," she trailed off, gesturing at the pervasive fog around them. "A predicament, truly. For all your strength of mind and body, you are no lucid dreamer. So, I ran, and you followed, again and again, countless times, until you realized it." Lex looked around, but it was a wasted effort; the fog hid everything beyond the girl and the simple table between them.
"I'm dreaming," he confirmed with a slow nod, as if realizing it for the first time. "This is a dream."
"You are dreaming," she nodded back. "But this is no dream. Indeed," she laughed, raising an arm lazily into the air. "You stopped dreaming the moment you sat down in this chair." She swung her arm down with both force and grace, like a sword cutting into the fog, and as she did, the fog ahead was parted, revealing a pleasant scene. They were on the edge of a lake, its waters serene and undisturbed, for nothing lived within it. For the first time, Lex saw the sky through the clouds, a black, star-studded canvas. "Lucidity is no different from reality, in this world. And I can't say that doesn't please me greatly."
Lex grabbed the table's edge with both hands, pushing it towards the woman with all his might as he stood up, his chair falling to its side with a loud thud as he stepped away. The woman stopped the table with her hand, an effortless gesture, and she laughed, rocking her own chair onto its back legs with a smile. "It seems I've answered both questions by mistake," she conceded, turning to face him for the first time. Her face was obscured by a white, marbled mask with no facial features, no eyes to speak of, just a number of cracks that had the slightest semblance of a face. As she continued to laugh, her pale skin turned pitch black, her snow white hair bled into a deep crimson, the marbled mask taking on vermillion hues. Lex spat a name in disgust.
"Atranellia."

A little girl floated in a tube though clearly she wasn't human. Her ears were pointed and little light purple horns adorned her forehead in her purple horn around one of the green eyes that are all over her body. She seemed to have clothes that were nothing short of a lovecraftian theme with thigh high boots and gloved hands connected to sleeves all the way up to her shoulder, but with her shoulders and neck bare. Her humanoid eyes were closed and she looked peaceful in that test tube. A man sat there looking puzzled at her with a glowing blue computer screen in front of him. Numbers and chemicals buzzed through his head as Genjuro tried to puzzle through the mystery of all the missing functionality that DesX once had. She used to have similar powers to Desco but ever since he'd summoned her into the Omniverse DesX's powers were clearly different. Reconstructing her body at a cellular level bit by bit through nanomachines to the exact specifications he had naturally committed to memory changed nothing which could only mean the world worked differently here, but so far his experiments with her body had only tripled her previous power.
He pushed off from the station on his wheeled chair and pulled to a different project. This tube held a creature that was deteriorating rapidly, twitching as its flesh melted away. It was a combination of two things. One was something he found here wandering about in a forest. A small electric rodent with a lightning bolt tail and cheeks that generated lightning. This curious subject was deconstructed and combined with a Dragon demon he'd summoned for the experiment to see what would happen. The results were predictably bad, but the analysis equipment attached to the tank discovered many nights worth of data to pour over so that he could see how. He glanced at the latest status on the computer screen at it's station. Surprisingly the thing was still alive though it was long past the point where it could be conscious. Probably the dragon's demonic fortitude at work. It was still producing a large amount of electricity which was surprising. If he had to guess, it had something to do with the magical power of the dragon since the electrical sacs were pretty much gone now.
After a late night's work, Genjuro found himself looking for inspiration elsewhere. Naturally, what the boss man of this facility was up to should be of some interest and it would be good to try and get to know the man though he seemed to be pretty rough around the edges. Genjuro recalled something saying that he was working on a new experiment though because he'd became engrossed in his own work Genjuro didn't realize that it was a few days ago since he had heard. He entered the room where the man was typing into a computer and knocked on the wall to announce his presence. "So, I heard you have something new in the works, how is it going so far?"

“I think I’ll take the forest fire,” Mireya muttered as the group stepped out from the gate and surveyed the land in front of them.
Unlike the dense, tree-filled Tangled Green, the landscape in front of them stretched on to the horizon, with only a few distractions in the form of copses and Darkshire. The town itself, a few miles away from the triumvirate, looked as sad and downtrodden as the gloomy, haunted landscape. Despite the fact that it was still the early hours of the morning, there was very little light given off by the town. Only a handful of smoke pillars trailed up from the myriad chimneys that poked above the ‘skyline’ of Darkshire.
“Is that where we are headed?” Mireya inquired, turning her attention to the two preteen-sized androids.
“That’s a place called Darkshire,” Proto Man remarked as he pulled up a data readout on his internal display. “It used to be the heart of the Kingdom’s colonial holdings before Diablo’s army turned the Moors into what it is today. Nowadays it’s in a gradual decline and under continual harassment from all sorts of terrible things.”
“Sounds just wonderful,” the nomad retorted as she glanced back at the gate to the Nexus. Proto Man knew that Mireya had spent a great length of time in Camelot, but he doubted the half-night elf had traveled anywhere outside her sphere of familiarity. While the overall geography of the Pale Moors was similar to Camelot, the atmosphere was utterly different. Remarks from travelers spoke about a ‘heavy air of desolation and grief’ that hung on you like a blanket. Proto Man lacked the necessary parts to genuinely experience that, but he had seen some pretty dreary places. Parts of Monsteropolis, New York City, and Coruscant all came to mind.
“I’m sorry,” the red robot offered as he looked up at the moon. “Sometimes I am glad I’m not a true human, because it means I have at least a little more strength when dealing with emotions.”
“You said it.” Snake Man added as the serpent took a few steps in front of the trio. “Personally, I think I’d like this place. So many shadows… And how about all those clouds? Crime in that town must be terrible.”
“There’s a lot of segregation in the town,” Proto Man read from a screen he’d just pulled from the Dataverse. “Crime is nonexistent in what remains of the affluent part of the town, while it can become a veritable free-for-all in the poorest parts of town.”
“Good to know.”
“I vote we keep our time there short,” Mireya muttered as the group slowly started across the empty field that led toward the walled city.
While he agreed with the woman, the robot’s reasons were more for the sake of time than comfort. “We just need to see if there are any leads on this Blight. I highly doubt we’re the only travelers who have tried to investigate it.”
