Billy the Master Commander had only just received the title weeks ago. It was an illustrious position within the Minas Tirith army, one that came with respect, adoration and the perceived notion that you were a competent soldier who fought and lived through many glorious battles. Billy had no respect from his peers, no one adored him and his military achievements were less than admirable. He was a soldier who often hid in his fox hole, stood behind his compatriots as they were mowed down, overslept and avoided entire massacres and overall was a cowardly, incompetent man. So how did he get this position? Simple, everyone died around him and he rose in rank as the only survivor until the previous Master Commander died in a decisive battle against the forces of Bowser. Billy, who had a severe psychotic aversion to both Goomba and Koopa Troopers alike, managed to crouch behind a wall and effectively evaded detection as the platoon was slaughtered by a mass of slow side-scrolling servants.
Upon return, Billy found that he was going to be honored with the title though it was made clear that he'd never be as great a leader as their previous Master Commander. Billy was fine with that. He knew he didn't deserve any of it. He never even wanted to join the army. Clearly fighting was not his thing, but surviving was. Even if his idea of survival was seen as pathetic and cowardly and dishonorable, at least he was alive. Fortunately for Billy, the MC position meant little combat initiation. He could order people to do the fighting. But therein was his catch-22. Billy did not have a tactical bone in his body other than to hide and wait until it was all over. Luckily no pressing matters had come to his attention since taking the title, meaning he didn't have to send wave after wave of men to their deaths with the orders of “Uh, well, you see we should...uh...who are we fighting again?”
But today ended his lucky streak. Before the stuttering fool of a leader sat a flyer. It was a simple piece of paper with the drawing of a large serpent that looked more like a blind worm the more he looked at it. He held the paper in his quivering hands and read it for the fifth time that day. It was the cult. It had come back. Every now and then it would resurface and try to involve innocent people in its worship. He'd never had to fight them himself, but he heard the stories of those who did. They never put up much of a fight and they were easily chased out of Camelot a while ago, but on occasion they would hold what they claimed to be a tournament for glory and honor.
Little did anyone know that this tournament involved sacrifice in a weird, to say the least, manner. Historically they would have champions battle one another while trying to steal ground from their opponent. Whomever made it to the altar of the opposing contestant was very unceremoniously eaten by the giant worm depicted on the flyer. The Nidhogg they called it. Now if there was one thing Billy knew, it was history and cultures. He was like a walking encyclopedia. Everyone just called him an idiot-savant. But at least he understood the origins of the Nidhogg. He just didn't want to think about doing battle with it or dealing with the cult that worshipped the monster. But he did know of someone who would...
Yoshimitsu sat at the bar with the soldiers he had been teamed with since his arrival in Camelot. He didn't drink, but he partook of the good times all the same. His time with this crew had been an enjoyable one as well as a lesson in his growing humility. He had been so preoccupied with the glory that came from being Yoshimitsu that he forgot what it was like to be equal with another human being. Buddha had taught that so long ago and like most impious people, he had forgotten the basics and focused on what benefited him. But since coming to the Omniverse with much of his spiritual abilities taken from him and the fact not a single person knew what a Yoshimitsu was or what Manji Ryu even meant, he had a sobering experience. Now he had to actually rely on skill and honor and relearning the basics he had been taught as a child. A lesson he harshly learned when he and the troop went into those caves soon after his induction into the army.
“Bartender,” Yoshimitsu patted the woman on the shoulder as she walked by, “I have a test for you!”
“Oh lord,” She said as she stopped what she was doing. “What is it this time?” He had played many tricks on her over the course of his visits to the bar, much to the delight of the men he fought alongside. They were never harmful, just funny jokes you play on gullible people or those willing to entertain your stupid tricks.
“Okay, okay,” Yoshimitsu stood from his stool and put his hands on her shoulders once more, “For this test, I need you to look down your blouse and spell attic.”
She rolled her eyes and pulled her shirt open slightly, the troop cat calling and howling as she did so. Yoshimitsu put his hands to the mouth of his mask and snickered with glee. He bounced from foot to foot as the men started quieting down to hear their bartender spell.
“A-T-T-I-C...” She looked up red in the face, “Really?! I've had enough of your stupid jokes!”
Of course her threats and anger were drowned out by drunken laughter. She shook her head as she turned from the group and glared at Yoshimitsu. His electronic eyes flashed a wink at her as he returned to conversing with his team. Yoshimitsu had been adjusting well and working (moderately) hard to take care of things around Minas Tirith. Apparently as a Prime he had more utility than these beings called “Secondaries”. It made sense why they looked to Primes to do certain tasks since Omnillium was readily available for use by them whereas Secondaries could only extract and hoard it. To Primes it was a valuable resource to grow and develop and summon. To Secondaries, it was a form of currency that they could use to sway Primes to do tasks. Yoshimitsu had been sitting on a pile of the stuff as he figured all he really needed to get his job done were his weapons and skills. That being the case, he didn't lord his power over those around him, which led to the citizens finding him that much more of a companion than a higher being to fear.
After a couple hours at the bar, Yoshimitsu and his team went their own ways. The men going home to families and Yoshimitsu left to wander the streets until he decided to either sleep at the barracks or an inn if he wanted a real bed for the night. Life had a funny way of making other plans, though. A man disheveled in nature, unshaven, tousled hair and red eyes came toward him. His uniform however led Yoshimitsu to believe he was someone important. The sun had yet to set so the orange glow cast a gold halo on the buildings around them and left shadows shrouding the stranger as he walked closer. For all intents and purposes, Yoshimitsu should have seen this approach as sinister or aggressive. Instead he felt an overwhelming indifference. He didn't even put his hand on the hilt of his katana. Something that was normally instinct for the warrior.
“Yoshimitsu? Sir?” The man stammered before straightening, as though he remembered his position, “Uh, I mean...Yoshimitsu!” He drew closer, the light revealing a weak and seemingly scared officer of high rank. Yoshimitsu crossed his arms. While he was learning humility in this new realm, he still couldn't bring himself to respect someone who obviously didn't respect themselves.
“Yes? Should I know you?” The stiff indifference hit the man in front of him like cold stinging breeze.
“I'm Master Commander Billy.” He pulled the hem of his decorated jacket down and pulled his narrow shoulders back, fixing his posture. Embarrassingly he was still shorter than Yoshimitsu by a few inches. “I have an important mission I'd like you to go on.”
“Oooh?” Yoshimitsu asked with a dash of feigned interest, uncrossing his arms to put his fists on his hips, “And what mission would that be Billy MC?”
“Ah...right...” He reached into his jacket and produced a crumpled piece of paper, moist from sweaty palms, “It's uh...up to you if you want to do it. I mean, it's kind of important and I'd like someone skilled on the project, but I mean, I understand if you don't want to. You know, I could uh...I could probably get some freelancer? Mercenary? Uh...bounty hunter? One of those guys to do it...it'd just cost a lot...”
Yoshimitsu stood in complete shock. He was in the presence of a “Master Commander” and the guy rambled. And mumbled. And trailed off. It was like listening to the awkward boy ask the prettiest girl in school to the prom. He was spinning. And crashing and burning. And Yoshimitsu could do nothing but listen and force himself to not laugh. It was a struggle to stand there and listen to this train wreck happen in front of him.
“You're the MC, Billy MC...sir,” Yoshimitsu added hesitantly, “I'll take the mission, just please...pleasestoptalking.” He spoke quickly, hoping he wouldn't fully catch his disdain. Though by the look of the guy, he was probably keenly aware of any and all disdain.
“Right...right.” Billy handed the paper to Yoshimitsu, the warrior grateful for his thick gloves so he wouldn't have to feel the damp file. He smoothed it out and looked it over. It was interesting. He stroked the chin of his electronic mask as he let it all sink in, his mind racing with all kinds of plans and ways he could get the mission done.
“This cult...they have fliers put up everywhere?” Yoshimitsu folded the intel sheet and tucked it into the inner pocket of his long coat.
“As far as I know, here in Camelot their all over the place,” He pushed his hair back, his confidence seemingly rising, “They might be in other Verses. Should we pull them down to protect people here at home?”
“No, no,” Yoshimitsu rubbed his hands together as he imagined all the possibilities of how this could play out. “Leave them up. I might be able to recruit some other Primes if they see these fliers...who doesn't want to slay a giant monster for glory?” Yoshimitsu smiled beneath his mask, his own mask pulling an ear to ear grin in something reminiscent of the Cheshire Cat.
“...I don't.” Billy said sheepishly. Taking the question seriously.
“I...I don't even...” Yoshimitsu dropped the grin and his hands and just bowed to the Master Commander, “...Yeah, I got nothin'...I have to go get ready. Good night, Billy MC.”
“Good night, Yoshimitsu!” Billy waved to Yoshimitsu as he turned and quietly fled, not even acknowledging the good bye protocols.

You like having more people to play with, right? That was a rhetorical question, because having more people to write with is awesome. Do you also like OM? If the answer is 'yes', which OBVIOUSLY it is, then please vote for us on the following sites!
RPGfix (every 12 hours. If you register, your votes count as x2. Worth the couple of minutes to make an account if you're going to be voting every day)
Top RP Sites (Daily)
When you vote, please post here with your total vote count for this month. So "Voted: 1", "Voted: 3" or whatever. Just keep track of 'em. For our counting purposes, clicking vote on both sites counts as 1 vote. If you post less than twelve hours since your last post, we won't count it. Simple? SIMPLE.
At the end of the month, if you posted ...
7-13 times: You get 100 OM.
14-23 times: You get 200 OM.
24+ times: You get 300 OM.
Every day: You get 300 OM, and a high five from me for being so damn diligent.
If you have an alternate character and wish to claim your reward on that account as opposed to your main one, please let us know.
We're going to trust in this that people actually click the links and don't just reply. I mean it only takes a few seconds to click these links anyway, but if there's a discrepancy between the posts here and the number of votes, and people really want to try and scam their way to a few hundred extra OM without voting, then we'll just remove this. Capiche?
Thanks for voting everyone! If you have time, please also leave a vote and review for us on Top RPG sites (once only).

| Law & Orker (Opinions wanted) |

Okay, so I had this Idea a while ago, for an omniverse T.V show (it would be posted in the data verse)
The show would be called 'Law and Orker' and it would feature two characters, Law and Orker.
Law is a relatively buff human, brought to the omniverse specifically as an actor, where as Orker
is a highly intelligent Orc from the Tangled green, Orker had read many human books
(finding lost ones within the jungle) and aspired to be an actor on what he came to discover was
Television. Orker ventured out of the Tangled green and into the nexus, where he finds Law, and
ther are swept up but storm troopers and taken to Coruscant, where they become the stars of their
Own T.V show 'Law & Orker' They would film episodes across the Omniverse.
Now I was thinking this could be a thing in which Multiple people could work on an episode for each week.
I thought it'd be fun and whatnot, Obviously I'd thought myself would write a fair amount of episodes, but
I wouldn't be the only one to write them, anyone that expressed interest could write an episode. Of course
I'd need to come up with a minimum word count for each episode and the story line for an episode could
carry over multiple episodes, which could be written by one person, or multiple people, if they wanted to
see how others would take the story line and take it in their direction.
So that was just something I wanted to throw up for discussion.

Status update and first post

Mood: Neutral
Listening to: “My Pal Foot Foot” by the Shaggs
This is my first post on this blog I guess. Those 5 or so of my followers that migrated here from twitter, hello.
I guess I’ll elaborate on a few things I may have mentioned on tweets.
I know I started the fuckomni hashtag, which is currently trending way more than my twitter account, but I just want to say that I don’t blame him anymore. I mean, can’t be a god that actually does something without screwing over a few people in the process. Even if you use your powers to do something good like ending world hunger or something, then the food industry will be banging on your door about how they are now poor as hell because no one is hungry anymore. It’s monkey’s paw thing. Also, it was kind of hypocritical of me to judge in this situation anyways. So yeah.
While I don’t blame him, it does suck I lost my powers. I found myself trying to transform a random peasant into a super sci fi science cop with my mind earlier but all I accomplished was creeping them out as I glared at them. I miss having all of reality at my fingertips/arm stub.
Though, while in my weakened state, I’ve been able to attract two buff male fighters to protect me. They both totally have the hots for me, but they aren’t my type. I wonder if I could matchmake them together… I mean, they seem to hate each other, but I’ve learned from my many hours of watching Sailor Moon and Love Hina that the person you hate will inevitably be your lover. Not to mention, they might bone. That’d be fun. I should invest in stealth powers. Imagine while in the middle of sex with Spanish Jack Skellington, I’m suddenly there watching you. The look on your face would be priceless.
On second thought, might be too evil for me. Nvm.

Sleep. Endless sleep. Or at least, that's what it felt like. The last thing Gherron remembered was traveling to the outer regions on his ship, on course to an unknown planet. That's when he unexpectedly blacked out. His dreams seemed normal at first, taking him to Tython. The waterfalls, the forests, the peace and quiet. Then panic mode kicked in. For a reason he couldn't describe, he felt a strong sinking feeling in his gut, then everything around him warped into nothingness. Almost ripping his lightsaber from his belt, he ignited the blade and swung it in an arc. "Gahhh!" Stumbling up, he glanced around in confusion. He was awake, but he wasn't on his ship.
Behind the Jedi appeared a rather large fountain, which would have been cool if not for everything else. And by everything, that meant literally nothing. In the distance, he could see massive doors and gates in every direction, though they seemed far away. Aside from the fountain and the doorways, everything else seemed void and dark. Clipping his lightsaber to his belt slowly, he stared around. "Where am I?"

Awakening, and blurry eyed Fawklin sat up to the sight of a fountain, one that he has never seen before. He looked around in every direction trying to find his bearings. He stood up hoping that would help but saw nothing surrounding him.
Did those sailors dump me on ice shelf? Those stulicants! Wait, I'm not cold so it can't be the ice shelf, where am I?
Fawklin started to walk around a bit trying to see if he saw anything, at all. In a state of pure confusion he made his way back to the fountain about ten feet away. There he sat in front of what appeared to be a grand avian on fire carved into the side of this fountain. He stared to this carving for a few minutes and then closed his eyes.
Maybe if I meditate I can remember how I got here.
There he sat concentraiting on what he remembered after he was found on the ship.
After about ten minutes Fawklin opened his eyes and muttered "Infinity." He stood up once again taking in the scenery, or in this case lack there of thinking to himself So this is the Nexus. Noticing he is missing Yemukefu, his sword, started to panic a bit when he realized that his sword is no where to be found. In his anxious state he started to walk in an oblivious direction due to not knowing which way is which and no sun or stars for that matter to help guide him. Unknowingly headed East by South East he continued for about an hour when he stopped due to the frustration that his anxiousness has gave way to fear. I can't do this, Why the toren would that shade just drag me here?! No, I have to calm down, I can't change this...yet. Fawklin sat down crossing his legs in preparation to meditate.

The mountains were a far more pleasant bit of terrain than the icy, frozen ocean that he had just traversed. The ground was more stable, there were better handholds, if he slipped and fell he'd just slide around and maybe fall down a small chasm rather than plunging through brittle ice and drowning in freezing cold water...well the place still wasn't safe, it wasn't safe by any stretch of the imagination, but it was safer. For what that was worth at least. Still it was rather invigorating, the air was crisp, and rocks, cliffs, and mountainsides often provided some shelter, albeit temporary, from the whirling, rushing blizzards. So far though he hadn't seen much of...well anything, the place was eerily empty, nothing but the Chosen Undead, the rock, the ice, and the whirling, whipping winds. He knew there had to be something in this place, something somewhere, whether it be dragon, human, giant or lord, he just had to find it, and so he kept going. He wasn't worried about food or shelter, as long as he could just find a small little cleft between rocks, or a small little chasm with a ledge, his undead form could get all the rest and relaxation it actually needed, which wasn't much. It was far from comfortable, but it was workable.
Hours passed, he had been traveling for a good four or five hours by his reckoning, although to be honest he couldn't be exactly sure, it was just his best guess, for all he knew he'd been moving through the mountains for two hours or two days...okay well he would notice if night fell, he was sure of that. Night had not fallen, ergo it hadn't been a full day, he knew that much at least. So he kept traveling, for the most part he kept low. He moved between the mountains, going along the shallow slopes and valleys, very, very small valleys, that went through the bottoms of the mountains. At times he went through narrow cliff walls, and at times things were almost pleasant, snow drowned forestry. It was a beautiful and tranquil thing at times, and he found himself actually relaxing, they were the first moments of true tranquility and relaxation in what felt like forever, what seemed like an eternity. He was rather enjoying his time in these mountains, so quiet, so peaceful...and then the boulders started to fall.

Name: Gherron Vael
Source: Original (Star Wars)
History: Gherron was born in the undercity of Coruscant, long after the destruction of the empire and rebirth of the Jedi order. By this time, the Jedi had once against established their home base on Coruscant, while the empire had also been reestablished. Though he was brought up by nobody, he quickly learned to survive off of his own wits and cunning. It wasn't before long that at seventeen he discovered the Jedi temple, where he was taken in by the guardians of peace. He was quickly outfitted with a master, an ewok by the name of Azar. Over the months, Gherron hardly saw the master, and when he did, he felt like he was learning nothing. It came to a point where he basically disowned the elder, and stopped talking with him completely. One day, another Jedi had come to bring him news of the ewok's death, which shocked him. The bearer of the news, Joshua DragonsFlame, took him in as one of his own, taking it upon himself to train. Under DragonsFlame, Gherron finally took it upon himself to learn all he could from the man, and become the best Jedi he could be. During this time, he met a girl in the order. The two quickly grew fond of each other over the course of one evening, and he took the wrong impression by trying to kiss her. He was quickly rejected, her explaining that her species, the ghostlings, were very fragile, even on their own planet of Datar, and that physical relationships often killed them if not careful. The boy was crushed, but he kept on. Under his new master, he quickly learned and mastered the art of meditation, and soon crafted his first lightsaber. After this, he began learning the lightsaber forms, practicing heavily on Soresu, the defense form. After some battles, the Jedi in training decided on crafting for himself a set of armor out of songsteel, a material strong but light. Not long after, it was called upon all available Jedi to travel to Korriban, the Sith planet so that they might crumble them and take them out once and for all. The battle was intense and brutal, nearly costing the padawan his own life if not for a knight working with him, the brave Vulpesen. After the battle, Gherron was taken to a special room in the temple on Coruscant where he was officially knighted. Taking his new responsibility as a protector of peace and justice, the new Jedi Knight crafted a new lightsaber, one to more fit his role. He had been intent at this point to search out remaining pockets of Sith, but it seemed more and more that they would find him instead. More scars and experience to add to the collection. With each battle and skirmish, the young man quickly grew into his role, becoming more confident in himself and his abilities. Eventually, with the approval of the council, he set out into deep space to search out new planets and colonies.
Physical description: Gherron is a stout young man of twenty years, standing at 5'9". He has blonde hair and startling gray eyes, with a fierce gaze. His arms have gained a fair share of muscle since his first time joining the Jedi, and training constantly under several other force users. He has many scars from battles, including one that runs down the right side of his face, a token he got from a battle with a strong Sith apprentice.

Character name: Fawklin
Character source: Original.
Character history: Little is known about the world outside the lands of Stentar other than a vast ocean that engulfs the large island, many have ventured off the island all to never return. Stentar is inhabited by several nations and tenfold cultures. Fawklin born to the master swordsman Ferrence and his wife Kian who died during child birth which Ferrence resented Fawklin for. Almost every day by the actions and manners in which he treated his son Fawklin quickly learned to fend for himself at a young age. Ferrence being not only a man of honor but also of high regard in the Maglin Kingdom's court never out right disowned his son, but he never did anything more than provide the bare minimums this included training, which in turn Fawklin resented.
Now in Stentar having the ability to control the elements are extremely rare about one in five million, even with the rarity these abilities were sought out for the soul purpose of killing the person. It was seen as an affront to the gods and an abomination. Known as Zjinn or demon, little are known of Zjinn other than the popular belief that they will kill you without hesitation or remorse. A popular legend of the land is that in ancient Stentar that a group of Zjinn left in lieu of persecution of the Kings and Warlords and that the oceans are now their domain, so any who venture off the island will be captured and killed.
Unfortunately for Fawklin he was one of these Zjinn. Knowing of the stigma of his natural ability he kept it secret and never tried to cultivate his power. He became knowledgeable of this power one day as a child after being not only rejected but punished for asking his father to be accepted into his training school. After being whipped by Ferrence in front of his friends and students Fawklin was dragged to his chambers by his fathers servant Coulm, as the door shut Fawklin picked up a clay pot and with all of his anger and sadness threw the pot at the door. With a flash of bright light and a crack the pot shattered before hitting the ground, Fawklin opened his eyes to see not clay dust on the door but a scorch mark and the shards of clay on the wooden floor were charred black.
Even at a young age Fawklin was never supervised outside of his tutor who taught him how to read, write and the essentials of a high born boy. So daily after schooling he wandered the capitol city with impunity because he was the son of a well known and feared swordsman, this also was stigma that veiled Fawklin in solitude. No one wanted to talk to him in fear of insulting him and in turn insulting his father, that is until a rival of Ferrence recognized him and approached. Varen the second ranked swordsman in Maglin under Ferrence only because he picked his battles and was notorious for refusing the King at times. When Varen found Fawklin he saw a sad little boy and felt almost nothing but pity for him. Fawklin quickly took to Varen and saw him as the father figure he sorely needed. Not knowing of the treatment or lack there of from his father Varen, the kind hearted man he was did not refuse the attention Fawklin was seeking. About a year after their meeting Fawklin got on his knees in tears and told Varen about the treatment he received from his father especially on the topic of swordsmanship. Dropping his head to the ground begged Varen to train him how to fight so he could take revenge for the years of abuse and neglect. Varen slow to respond agreed on the grounds of two conditions, one being that in fear of retribution from Ferrence and his followers that the training will be at night in a place they would never be disturbed, and second that Fawklin would never be allowed to use the knowledge for retribution against his father. Reluctantly Fawklin agreed.
Fawklin met with Varen outside the city walls in a cove dedicated to the old gods of nature. A secluded place deep in the Northern Wood, the cove is steep in lore and enriched in spiritual energy. The cove was the perfect place fo the two to train because the only people who went there were monks and there has not been a monk of the old gods in Maglin for a generation. Varen not only taught Fawklin the ways of the sword and other blades but also of the spiritual world, being one with his surroundings and how to use his intuition. Every night for fifteen years they met there in the cove to meditate and train, in this time Fawklin reached the limitations of a troubled soul, a master in his own rights with a blade but a darkness dwelt inside his heart, a burning passion for revenge that kept him from greatness.
On his Twenty Fifth naming day celebration all the high ranking officials in exception of the King who was on a hunt gathered at his family's residence. An affair fitting his station Ferrence put on a feast as grand as a coronation more for his followers than his son. Before the feast Ferrence made a toast laden with sarcastic remarks and jokes that meant nothing more than insult and offence, also referring to Fawklin as his greatest achievement and that his mother would be so proud of him for making it this far in life. To much chagrin Fawklin accepted the toast in a humble manner even tho he felt his soul burning with anger. Varen being the intuitive man he was picked up on this anger and kept an eye on every movement Fawklin made. After the ten course meal Ferrence's constituents presented their gifts to Fawklin, mostly nothing of importance, a chalice, silk robes, even a wedding proposal but none of that interested Fawklin until Varen stepped forward to present him a "ceremonial" sword. Varen made a point to say ceremonial as not to give offence to Ferrence. The sword was presented in a silver embroidered hardened tiger leather sheath, the sword itself was glistening steel with an inscription along the spine that read "The coolest of the flames will burn the longest." in the Old Correnth language. Varen explained that the swords name is Yemukefu meaning to overcome the gathering darkness and that inscription meant in the battle that is life the one who keeps a level soul will always be victorious.
After the presentation of the gifts Ferrence bid his guests goodbye ending with a consideration and thanks for the wedding proposal even though he had low confidence in his sons ability to know what to do with a wife and made his way out of the grand hall. This pushed Fawklin over the edge, he waited till, stewed in anger until there were a few guests still stumbling around and with out Varen in sight Fawklin took up his sword and made his was uninterrupted to his fathers chamber door. Fawlkin drew a deep breath and exhaled before kicking open the doors and entering the chamber.
"What in the heavens do think you think you are doing, you insolent child!" Ferrence said to Fawklin in surprise and anger. "You are a demeaning hurtful person who needs to learn when to stop acting like complete scum." He responded pointing towards his father using his left hand while still holding the sword and sheath. "Hurtful? YOU KILLED YOUR MOTHER! What kind of monster does that? You are the cause of all your pain, you brought this on yourself just showing your self in this world." Ferrence said taking a defensive stance, he continued "Who do you expect to teach me in the ways of weakness? You?! Don't make me laugh, you couldn't cut a piece of fresh bread. Now get out of this house you are no longer my son and the next time I see you I will kill you for your shamefulness." At this Fawklin drew his sword and pointed it at Ferrence with fury in his eyes. "Fawklin, stop!" Varen said from behind him. "Gather your things and come with me, you'll always have a place with me at my house." Not taking an eye off of his newly disowned father and his sword pointed at his face responded "I can't do that Master, I could have forgave him for his past treatment of me, but, but tonight is unforgivable, he must pay!" At the increasingly intensity of his body and in extension his sword started to dimly glow red with heat. Walking to Fawklin's side Varen placed his hand on Fawklin's right shoulder feeling how warm he is becoming. "Listen child if you do this there is no coming back from the darkness your soul will find." He said to Fawklin calmly. Ferrence smirked while saying "Yea child, listen to this talentless want to be sage. Run to him like you have every time you had an issue with your weakness." The instant Ferrence uttered those words Fawklin was no longer controllable by anything Varen could say. Knowing this Varen drew a dagger from his robes and pointed it towards Fawklin as he went to step between the two. "I will not let you throw your life away." At this perceived betrayal Fawklin's rage hit it's boiling point and flames started to emit from the blade. Fawklin blindly went to shove Varen aside but in doing so cut the man from chest to waist diagonally and with his back swing he lodged the flaming blade into his father's neck killing him almost instantly. When Fawklin took the blade from his fathers neck Ferrence fell to the ground and with his last gasping breath uttered "Zjinn!". "Master I'm sorry but he deserved what he got and I know you agree." Fawklin said turning around to the sight of Varen on the floor breathing heavily. "Varen! Master!" he said tossing the now extinguished sword away and kneeling at the weak man. "Son, you need to know that you are not a monster, or a demon but a misguided man." Varen said between breaths. Breaking down in tears Fawklin grabbed at Varens robes, "I'm so sorry, please, please forgive me for hurting you, please forgive me I never wanted to be Zjinn." "There is nothing to forgive...Nature has it's ways...Now go and never come back." Varen replied as his breaths got more and more shallow. "But Master I need to get you to a healer." "I'm...ascending.......remember what I taught you.............never return to Maglin.................go." With that Varen drew his last breath and passed with a smile on his face. Fawklin punched the wooden floor in anger and sadness leaving an outline of his fist scorched into the plank. Wiping away his tears while standing he started to gather Yemukefu and put it in the sheath. Turning around to say one last goodbye to Varen Fawklin noticed his dagger by his side. Fawklin with a sigh picked up Varen's dagger gave it a once over and put it in his belt and left the room.
It was late in the night and the halls were vacant and ignorant of the atrocities that just took place. Fawklin went to his chambers and filled a small bag with clothes and a golden pendent his mother left to him to remember her. He made it about a half mile from outside the city walls when he first heard the bells signifying an emergency that could only be the discovery of Ferrence and Varen's burned bodies. He turned to take one last look at the city that caused so much anger and sadness, with a sigh he turned back and continued north. Fawklin made his way to the northern coast and looked to the horizon and believed that setting sail was his only option. At the port town of Maglinport he managed to stow himself away on a transport ship at night with the intention of mutiny. The next morning he was rocked awake by the waves shoving the ship off kilter for a second, not truly remembering where he was he stood up and stretched out to the surprise of sailors in the galley. When Fawklin noticed the slack jawed men he quickly grabbed his sword and bolted to the stairway, up and out onto the top deck. Before he realized he ran into the railing of the port side of the ship but luckily managed to stay aboard. He heard a man to his left yell "STOWAWAY!" and turned around to the sailors gather around him. He looks right about to draw his sword when he felt a strong pressure to the back of his head knocking him off balance and unconscious.
He awoke in a haze thinking about a weird dream he had about a silver shade with an plastered smile.
