Similar to Trixie's NPC workspace thread, I'm gonna use this thread to stow away some ideas for my NPCs and such. Feel free to comment on my posts and what not to give me some feet back. I like extra thoughts when it comes to making my own ideas.

How much time/effort will it take to start a trading company in the Dunes/Deeps? I mean a legit company with several ships, contracts and a couple-hundred secondaries (employed from the locals likely). I mean, primes can't be the ONLY thing producing stuff here, right? And even then, some of them are bound to be better at making certain stuff.

Quote:Okay, so the Dataverse looks like Tron does in the most recent movie? With cities and program/people? Where within this would you find the entrances to the various sub zones then? I do at some point wish to enter the Dataverse and traverse it, as well as I may resumbit my Code: Lyoko sub-zone for consideration, with better definition of course, and I'm confused on how would would actually travel to a secotion of the Dataverse that does not fit within the confines of the Tron-like setting. With a Megaman Net style Dataverse, then that would easily be solved, as there are teleport-pad-like things that take you to different section of net, a physical representation of entering the objects port to the net.

So Sinestro has been hanging with Roland pretty much non-stop since I requested him like... a long time ago. Nobody else has seemed to want him while I was using him, so Roland as Sheriff and Sinestro as Deputy have been working together for a little while now. I would like to propose something to Roland, and obviously I can't have him agreeing or disagreeing with anything important/longstanding without approval.
How do I do that? As the person that's essentially written MOST of Roland, I guess I could WRITE it myself if an approved staff member gave me the go-ahead (or turned me down) on what I'm asking, I just need a clear yes or no answer from whoever makes those decisions.

A black man with short, jet hair stared at the building in front of him. He wore heavy ISA armor and he stood there in annoyance. There was something happening and he had no idea what the hell happened to Jan and the others. All he knew was that he found himself staring at a building, more likely surrounded by white-armored guards.
Rico stepped back and hear the distinct sound of a motorcycle from a distance away.
Putting on his best fake smile, he tried to ignore the situation in front of him and took in the scenery. No longer was there an battle against the Helghast, it was somewhere... way out of the way.
Maybe for once... he would have to THINK.

I originally created this forum game on another site with some inspiration from one of their mods who created a forum game called RtD (Roll to Dodge) and he expressed that he wanted others to make their own variations. So, I created this on the other site and thought I'd bring it over here! (Note: I made a lot of references to RtD but all the rules are still there.)
Story:
You are a military grade human-like robot experiment where all the robots had humanoid bodies and human-like AI with thoughts, feelings and free will. Sadly, the project was a failure. The military decided to put all of the robots involved into a secure facility along with the other failures from different projects. At the facility, the military deprived you of all of your upgrades, specials and gadgets to use for other projects. Years later, you and your buddies are considered "outdated" and are dropped off a plane into the wilderness to fend for yourselves. Most of the robots are destroyed during the drop, scattering their remains all over. Now, you have to fend for yourselves in a wilderness full of nuclear radiation, robot parts and monsters. Good luck!
Basic mechanics:
1. You start the game by choosing one of the three starting stat sets (listed below).
2. This game works like RtD in terms of rolling a die to determine the outcome of your action, except it's a D10.
3. Unlike RtD, PvP is on from the start. In PvP whoever posts first, goes first.
4. In order to decide what tier of monster you fight (see below) I will roll a D6. 1-3 is T1, 4-5 is T2 and 6 is T3.
5. In order to determine a monsters stats, I will roll a D10 and put that number to the power of the tier (ex. I roll a 10 for a T3 monster, the stat that I rolled it for will be 10 to the power of 3, or 1000)
6. When you go into combat, you must decide whether to use your melee attack, your ranged attack, your special attack (see below), or you can run. If you choose melee, your opponent will be able to counter, and they will be defending with their defense. If you choose ranged, your opponent will not be able to counter, and they will be defending with their shields. I then roll a D10 and multiply your attack by that number. I then subtract the opponent's defense/shields from that number and do the remainder as damage to the opponent's health. If you chose Melee, your opponent can now counter, I roll a D5, and on a five the opponent's melee attack gets subtracted from your defense for his turn. If you have a critical chance percentage, I will roll a D100 and if a number equal or lower than your critical chance percentage is rolled, your attack will be multiplied by two. If you don't defeat the monster on your first turn, you can choose to change what type of attack you are using. If you decide to run, I roll a D10 and on a 10 you successfully escape, otherwise it is a waste of a turn.
7. You can only preform a special if it is charged (see below).
8. I will then preform a loot roll if you defeat the monster, with a D10 (see below).
Tiers and loot drops:
Every monster and item has a tier.
For monsters, the tier affects the stats and loot drops.
For items, the tier either effects the stat boost, or the effect of the item, depending on whether it's an upgrade or not.
Monster tier loot drops are as follows:
Common/T1 1-5: Nothing 6-8: T1 loot 9-10: T2 loot
Uncommon/T2 1-3: Nothing 4-5: T1 loot 6-8: T2 loot 9-10: T3 loot
Rare/T3 1: Nothing 2-3: T1 loot 4-5: T2 loot 6-8: T3 loot 9-10: T4 loot
Legendary (Boss)/T4 1: T1 loot 2-3: T2 loot 4-5: T3 loot 6-8: T4 loot 9-10: T5 loot
Unique/T5 (Non-existent as of now)
Once you get loot, I will roll a D5. On a 1-4, your loot is a permanent stat upgrade. On a 5, I will flip a coin. Heads means you got a Special attack. Tails means you got a gadget.
For permanent upgrades, the amount added to your stat will be 10 times the tier except for critical chance, which will be equal to the tier.
Specials:
Each special will have an effect and a turn number. A turn is one update. Every turn, 1 is subtracted from the turn number on the special, and when it hits 0, it is charged. Once you use a special, the turn number resets and it must be charged again.
Rules:
(These rules are the same as RtD)
1. No OP move attempts. So if you are trapped in a room, don't just say "I TELEPORT OUT AND KILL EVERYONE LOL". Think, it's a strategy game, too.
2. No murdering unless murdering is specifically mentioned to be allowed.
3. Don't complain about the outcome. It's random, and affected by stats.
4. If you die, you are put on the waiting list. Ten people can play at once, and when one dies, the first person on the waiting list enters the game. If you actually read these, put the word "Yo" next to your gender when you sign up.
5. I will address everybody's move separated by a line, but it is smart to read what happens to other people so you have a sense of what is going on. Anybody's turn may trigger Player vs Player, and you don't want to be the one to miss the memo.
Starting stat sets:
1. Tank:
Health: 180
Melee Attack: 25
Defense: 120
Ranged Attack: 15
Shields: 110
Critical Chance: 0%
Special Attack: None
2. Hammer:
Health: 150
Melee Attack: 70
Defense: 105
Ranged Attack: 25
Shields: 100
Critical Chance: 0%
Special Attack: None
3. Cannon:
Health: 150
Melee Attack: 25
Defense: 100
Ranged Attack: 70
Shields: 105
Critical Chance: 0%
Special Attack: None
Are you a boy or a girl, and which stat set do you choose?

My cloning ability would allow me to clone myself to gain edge in battle. However this clone with my abilities would not be able to fight simultaniously with Teal. Say I add hive mind and remove the ability to switch to Pink. With the added abilities of being able to use Teals moves this would equal 900 OM?
The Pink Clone - Remote Control Prof. (300)
Teal creates and exact replica of herself to add to arsenal. Well...kinda. The clone IS identical besides the fact that it's color scheme opposites Teal's. This makes the two easy to distinguish yet Teal can apply this to herself. Allowing her to become the pink one, making the blue one the clone. The clone can use Dagger Gauntlets and shuriken(Shuriken are a shared arsenal, if one uses a shuriken, the other loses one as well.), but power is devided evenly between them, making Teal and Pink's attacks weaker. Teal can summon her clone in 2 seconds, and no more than four feet away. Pink isn't very automatonic, but only having one clone makes it easy on teal to control. She cannot soummon more than one clone, and that clone cannot go further than 20 meters from Teal.

Character name:
Kattly Chóros
Character source:
Eclipse Phase/OC (Same as Athena Myaló)
Character history:
Like Athena, Kattly is not a ‘human,’ as such, but a Soul made from the god Kiarza, who was trying to collapse two other timelines that contained clones of the original 6 Souls. Kattly is one of the six, and with each Soul comes a separate domain of the god: Kattly, the Soul of Space; Athena, the Soul of Mind; Delta, the Soul of Time; Abstract, the Soul of Chaos and Death; Nitrogen, the Soul of Justice and Life; and Zamir, the Soul of Technology. Each member of the team holds great powers based on their given aspect. Abstract was given the ability to change the judgment of people to war and violence, Delta the power to slow down or speed up time, Zamir the power to hack and alter any form of technology, Athena the power to read minds and even send people into mass hysteria, Nitrogen the power to heal and turn people’s alignment to good, and Kattly the power to warp a ship through hundreds of galaxies in a matter of seconds. But these powers came at a cost: the whole team went through many difficulties to kill their clones.
This is where we part from the team and move more to myself, Kattly. To start off, I was created from myself. Quite literally. A bit confused, yes? I know it’s a little hard to process - let me explain.
I was born - well, made - from a mixture of my own blood.
I understand if it’s still a little weird. Many times in our adventures we traveled in time, both intentionally and unintentionally. That was the beginning for me. We all had lost our memories from the time before we were Souls (if there was such a time) and are still looking for many answers to what happened to us. The only clue leading us at the moment is the fact that Nitrogen is supposedly my younger sister (yeah, it's still a mystery how we’re related). Other than that, we don’t have a single hint. We slowly grew to understand our purpose, thanks to our little meetings with Kiarza himself. He explained our purpose and our powers and, despite the annoying and horrible person he was, I believe we saw him as a friend.
In our struggles to collapse the other two timelines, we all had some very disagreeable “meetings” with our clones. In my case, Kattly V. 2 was a completely insane murderer. At the entrance to her lair laid piles and piles of bodies. If I had to guess, her only goal seemed to be to make me less soft: at the end of my visit, I left with 13 bullets scattered across my torso.
In the end, all six of them just wanted us to become awful psychopaths like them. Once you see your alternate-self with such a satisfied bloody grin, it’s hard to keep calm.
Makes me sick just thinking about it.
I had to kill her in the most gruesome way possible. If it's alright with you, I don’t really want to bring up sour memories. Onto another subject, though.
Before Athena went missing, the rest of the team and I were currently just settling in on the planet where Delta, Zamir, Athena, and Abstract had first woken up. A few months had passed and we all had decided to take our own pilgrimages and work on jogging our memories. 2 days after we left for our journeys, Kiarza appeared with a worried face. He told us a piece of his soul was missing, and that she had disappeared - just straight up disappeared, into thin air.
Fast forward 5 months. No word from Kiarza, no word from Athena, and slowly the team disbanded. Delta and Zamir pushed themselves into their work, Abstract and Echo (our human friend) went Kiarza knows where, and Nitrogen, well, she stayed with me.
We traveled through many galaxies trying to find leads, but all of them turned out to be dead ends. Eventually Nitrogen and everyone else went off to do their own thing. Abstract got a sulking and drinking problem and I heard that he blew up 2 moons... yeah, I’m not actually that surprised. As for me, I still have my 2 major goals: 1) Find Athena. 2) Gain Back Memories.
I had just gotten yet another lead that would send me through yet another wild goose chase. I was getting no where with getting my memories back and this lead felt like nothing more but a chore but a friend is a friend and I was not about to give up. The lead brought me to LUNDS a planet that once was a great nation but was ravaged with practically a disease do to a trade which contained knit bugs a robotic insect equivalent to a mosquito. With its unfamiliar sting it ended up breading and killing an entire species. I was brought here due to some sort of portal that lays in the center of the city.
Long story short it was a set up and I was knocked out. I now wake up in a world called the Omniverse with a puppetmaster called Omni and the space in this dimension or whatever which is in flux in other words crazy bad and no rules to dictate it.
Physical Description:
I’ll start from the top. I have somewhat curly, somewhat straight hair that is a brown hazelnut color and slowly comes down to a bleached blonde, which covers the tips of my hair and most of my bangs. I usually wear a double choker: the top is a black felt collar and the lower is the same material, the only difference being that it holds a charm of a moon that I was given. I usually wear a grey tank top with long black leggings. I wear my cargo vest on top of that, and it drapes past my knees all the way to my calf. I also wear long combat boots that reach my knees. I usually keep a pocket knife hidden in my right one.

Starting Powers:
Basic Telekinesis (400), Basic Super Jumping (300), Master Acrobatic (400)
Starting Moves:
Ancient Sword (300), Shotgun-Style Sniper Rifle (300), Space Shield (300)
Move Descriptions:
Ancient Sword (300) - A curved-edge sword that I bought from a merchant on Earth. It’s a single handed sword with a blade that is approx. 3 ft. long. It hangs at my left side. Due to it being a faster, lighter weapon, it doesn't deal a great amount of damage.
Modified Shotgun Rifle (300) - My modified shotgun shoots 12-25 rpm. Due to its slow shooting speed, it does fairly high amount of damage compared to the sword. It has been modified with components of a sniper rifle for accuracy. It holds 25 bullets a cartridge. The loading process requires a press of a button but the mechanism that actually drops the cartridge takes about 5 seconds to drop and another 5 to readjust the new cartridge. Firing takes the use of racking the gun then shooting. I don't know the exact time it takes to rack lets just say it takes about 2-3 seconds from racking to firing.
Space Shield (600)- I make my shield by densifying the space around me so the larger the shield is, the easier it is to break through, and the smaller it is, the more difficult it is to break through. It sorta looks like a hazed photo you can easily notice its there but the space around looks like a pulse that somewhat shimmers. Being the soul of space its like finding the atoms and hardening them around me but to me in the moment its much easier than that. It's an ability.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.
Where did you find us?
My wonderful friend Athena told me about it. She’s quite good at finding interesting websites to look into.
