Character name: Zelrius Blackfyre
Character source: SAO-RPG.com (Original)
Character history: In the real world Zelrius is someone with few friends. He does okay in the few sports he plays and Is too intelligent for his peers. This leads him to do many hours of gaming. Though a natural born 'talker', He is very fluent in conversation and often jokes, trying to always have a good time. He values speed above all other skills as he believes speed can help win and escape sticky situations, as it did so many times in the real world. When he heard about the Nervegear and SAO He couldn't comprehend it. A Place where he could use his intelligence AND be athletic along with it being a video game? Impossible. Them mega fast internetz (Kek) After playing the game of SAO for sometime, Zelrius rose in immense power and influence, eventually being one of the main Figures in the grand scheme of things. Though within time, His little reign came to an end, having been killed by someone he once considered a friend, The Golden-Haired boy found himself within moments of his vision going black in the presence of Omni.

Character name: Manta
Character source: Sword Art Online
Character history: Manta was born to a pair of wealthy lawyers in Norway. She was left alone by her parents for much of her young life, being taken care of by various caretakers as her parents seemingly forgot all about her. As a teenager, Manta got into a certain type of game, called Sword Art Online, a multiplayer virtual reality game. Of course, the game ended up being a trap and all of the players were trapped there, unable to be removed from the game without being killed by the gear that allowed them to experience the game. The only way out? To beat all of the bosses on all one hundred floors of the game. She rose to the top tier of players, fighting alongside many other frontliners. After a tragedy, where the person she was dating was killed by another player, she went an jumped off the edge of the games map. As the world started to pixilate around her and she prepared for her death, she closed her eyes, only opening them moments later to see Omni.
Physical Description: (originals only)
Manta is of an average height, around five feet and nine inches. She is rather skinny, with well muscled arms and long, flowing red hair that reaches down almost to her waist. She usually wears a white shirt with a fancy black and white vest over it, as well as a long white skirt, and a white ribbon with gold lace edges around her neck. She also wears a pendant around her neck with a golden chain, sky blue stone with a symbol etched and drawn onto it resembling:

Time Manipulation: (800 OM)
Starting Moves:
Starlit Rapier (Requires Physical Strength) -300 OM
A light, thin rapier, made for speed and numerous quick stabs. The blade is thirty-eight inches long, while the hilt itself is only eight. The blade itself is 2 inches wide, and double edged. It doesnt have as much mass or size behind it, but it makes up for that with speed.
Over Radiation (Tier 1 Super Move) -600 OM
Manta points her rapier at her target, and the rapier starts t glow a bright white. She then sprints forward and unleashes a barrage of fourteen rapid stabs within the space of a second or two. This move is hard to dodge due to the flurry of strikes, but is also made up of only normal strength stabs, so if some of it can be avoided it wont deal too much damage.

Memory is a strange thing.
When you've lived for a few hundred years, you lose concept of what it means to grow old. After living the equivalent of a few generations of human life, anyone would start to forget the events that had happened in their nascent years. What's the point of recalling information older than most of the planet's civilizations?
Then again, the body he resided in now was less than a decade old, even if it was functionally identical to his old form when it had been at its peak. Strangers had asked him for his story before, and while he had turned most of them down, the machine-man had never expected to find himself back where he'd been in his old life. It certainly made sense that his skills would eventually lead him to a position of authority and almost religious idolization.
Strangely enough, when he was prompted about the memories by someone he was less likely to murder, it was hard for the prime to recall the information. Strands formed in his mind. Coherent links of events, but there was a haze that permeated those almost ancient thoughts. Even as they were woven together, there was a thick glaze of time upon them. Details were lost in the bigger picture, and while he knew that the quality would be less than ideal, Cell Delta let himself drift into his memories. As he fell into a dreamlike state halfway between consciousness and unconsciousness, his acolytes recorded the words that their leader spoke.
***
Captured. The start of it all.
"They're attacking again!" Nicholai screamed, plucking his plasma rifle from its location against the wall as he rushed to man his post. Outside the sounds of mortar and dying men caused the soldier to break out in a sweat before he could even see the first signs of the encroaching armies.
Nicholai Immanuel Volkov was born in 2095—a mere thirteen years ago. For the last several months, a war between Russia and Germany had been ravaging the land. It was the most recent event in an ongoing conflict that began before Nicholai had entered the world.
Fueled by new nationalism, economic success, and remarkable technology, Germany had been waging a war against the whole of the Europe. The weaker members of the European Union, the countries in the eastern and central zones of the continent, had been the first to fold before the war machine. By 2094, Germany had control of all the land between Russia and France, but the silence was ephemeral.
A number of political assassinations brought Kastasha Weber, a former cabinet advisor of the German President, to power and ushered in her new ‘German Empire.’. Once the empress had consolidated her authority from the old regimes, she turned her armies to the west.
In 2095, another fierce chain of chaotic battles ensued from France to Portugal. The whole of the Iberian Peninsula was reduced to ash by the time the fighting stopped.
Fueled by high morale and a desire to outdo her predecessors, Kastasha invaded the United Kingdom in early 2096. By July of 2098, England, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, and even Iceland had fallen to the armies of the German Empire. When Nicholai turned four, German soldiers crossed into Russia, in an attempt to eliminate any opposition from the country.
German troops sacked Alexandria in the winter months of 2099, and using the Nile, the Empire’s conquest of Eastern Africa began in earnest soon thereafter. By 2107, Germany had taken control of the greater part of European Russian, and in January 2108, St. Petersburg, the last bastion of European dissent, was destroyed by an experimental bomb that used gamma radiation. Fearing for the safety of himself and his country, the Russian President Mihiel Gosco made it legal to draft children as young as twelve following the tragedy.
All the decision did was permit cowardly government officials to send their youth off to die. Along with everyone else, the preteen draftees were slaughtered by the Germans and their superior numbers and technology. Nicholai had been stationed at Borodino, a fort city on the Moskora River. He was around fifty miles from the Russian capitol. On the horizon, the Germans could be seen marching towards Borodino.
All around them, the landscape burned and the skies were blackened by the dust and smoke kicked up by the endless columns of artillery. The front of the army was already at the fort’s front door—it was only a matter of time before they broke through.
"Don't fire until they give the order this time," the voice caused Nicholai to smirk faintly as he turned to face his Ivan—a friend of his from grade school…perhaps his best friend nowadays. When the rest of the battalion from Nicholai and Ivan’s home had been torn apart in their first battle, they had managed to survive.
"Missile!” A scared, adult voice screamed from the back of the bunker’s small gunner nest. “Hit the deck!" Nicholai spun around and saw the low-grade gamma missile screaming toward them. The child’s eyes widened as he recalled what the German-engineered radiation was capable of doing.
The gamma rays were comprised of energized particles that unraveled intermolecular forces. In an essence, those exposed to the radiation slowly degenerate into nothingness—their molecules shattered to such an extent that there isn’t a trace that remains in the end.
Nicholai let out a whimper, threw his gun aside, and ran for the door. By the time he was wrapping his frantic, tiny fingers around the handle, the missile hit the building. The violent force of the explosion sent Nicholai into the reinforced steel door.
The teenager’s head slammed off the metal, and there was a wet fleshy noise upon the collision of steel and skin. Above his head, the lights flickered once before fading completely.
With a grunt, the war-hardened teenager fought to remain upright. He felt his forehead and came to the immediate conclusion that he had been split wide open. Cringing, he listened as the sounds of battle wafted up into the lonely machine gun nest. Despite anyone’s best efforts, the fort had been lost the moment that had made contact.
"Ivan, where are you?" Nicholai whispered as his thoughts returned to the here and now. Turning away from the door to observe the other side of the nest, the boy desperately sought out his friend. Ivan’s small form was visible, hunched over the ledge of the room. Aside from the intermittent convulsions, he was otherwise unmoving.
“Please no!" Nicholai screamed as he stumbled across the machine gun nest and pulled his friend off the stone ledge.
“I was too close to the window,” Ivan muttered—a smirk on his face as he stared up at the ceiling. “I always imagined that gamma radiation would be green or something…what a disappointment,” the boy laughed, but a blood-laced coughing fit put an end to any lightheartedness from Ivan.
“Stay with me,” Nicholai whimpered as tears made their way down his cheeks, mixing with blood and day’s-old grime. “You’re all I have!”
“I can’t even see,” Ivan stammered, holding a shaky hand up in an effort to touch his friend. “We’ll meet again, Nicholai,” with that, Ivan let out a final, taxing cough and his hand fell to the floor.
For a few moments, Nicholai sat in silence and cried—the irradiated corpse of his best friend…his only friend, cradled in his arms. Outside the sounds of fighting were already dying down as the Germans began to smother out the fort’s last pockets of resistance.
"Bastards!" Nicholai finally muttered, closing Ivan’s vacant, lifeless eyes with a gentle motion of his hand. With nothing but his rage remaining, he rested Ivan’s corpse on the cold steel ground. Picking up his rifle from the other side of the room\, Nicholai began to lurch toward the door. Unfortunately for the teenager, his vision was blurred by blood and he had lost too much strength to walk for more than a few steps without falling to his knees.
Whimpering in frustration, the boy could do nothing but watch as the nest’s exit suddenly exploded. A thick smoke began spilling into the room as at least half a dozen German soldiers swept into though the doorway.
"Good, these two are just the sort of specimens that the empress demands. Restrain both of them and prep them for transport," Nicholai tried to aim in the direction of the voice, but the blood at this point had sapped away too much of his visibility.
"This one’s dead, sir," one of the soldiers replied. Nicholai turned and saw that he was crouched over Ivan’s body. “Gamma radiation by the look of things.”
"Get away from him," Nicholai seethed, propping the weapon against his side as his trembling finger found the trigger. The soldier that was crouched over Ivan’s corpse had enough time to turn in the direction of the voice before the stream of plasma hit his cranium and burst out the other side of his head.
"Restrain that child now!" A strong and authoritative voice ordered, and on that mark, the four grunts tackled Nicholai. Handcuffs closed around Nicholai’s wrists as he struggled against his oppressors. With a defiant scream, Nicholai whipped his head backwards and smacked one of the soldier’s noses.
A confused and shocked shout escaped the man as he stumbled away from the frantic teenager. Groaning in aggravation, the leader of the troupe took a few steps forward and swung the butt of his rifle into the back of Nicholai’s head. There was a burst of vibrant pain as Nicholai lost consciousness. Once the boy stopped struggling, the men dragged him out of the dark room.
***
About an hour or so following Nicholai’s capture and removal from Borodino, the city fell to the German army, but in a moment of desperation, the Russian government obliterated the city with in a surprise aerial raid—killing over a million Germans and Russians POWs.

"Omni-Zerg quest?" you say, your monocle raised swiftly. "What is this fanciful idea. more to the point, is it edible?"
you make a conscious decision to read more, your interest raised, and your cat purring nicely on your lap.
You quickly learn that this is a quest thread, in the vein of 4chan's own, but you never browsed 4chan. Your brother said it was for nerds once, after all. Why would you want to go there? best to hang out on your roleplay sites with all the other cool kids.
the instructions are simple, you find, and work much like a choose your adventure game. you are going to be given a scenario, and asked to guide the title protagonist in succeeding at his goals... or alternately, do your damnedest to create as much scatological humor as possible. you're given a lot of freedom here, you realize.
it appears that the clearest or most supported idea will generally be the one that's acted upon by the protagonist, and then moderated by the game master. After seeing that the game's headed by Weiss, your confidence in the quality of this quest degrades rapidly. Still, it seems to require no more investment than simply stating what you want, and then invoking mob mentality if someone tries to offer an inferior idea in place of your perfect plan. Surely, everyone will always wish to rally around your ideas, after all. You're a genius.
----
What, my perfect 2nd-person narration didn't satisfy you? Well, I guess I better put it even simpler then.
So, this thread will be used for the omni-zerg quest, somewhat in honor of the original. The rules are pretty simple: After the game master(That's me, Chillins') makes a post, everyone in the omniverse is capable of making a suggestion on what to do next. You're also able to ask questions to clarify the current situation(it's encouraged if you wish to make it past the first few days alive, really.) The rules in terms of what you can post?
Keep relatively on-topic. You're allowed to generally discuss the game or even discuss things related to... but keep the conversation focused on omni-zerg quest to some extent.
Suggestions on what we do next are bound by the rules of the Omniverse itself, and all the regular rules apply. So... don't be a jerk, is what I'm saying. at least to eachother.
Beyond that... go nuts. ask to seduce the goliath. order a sculpture of Matt Damon's head to be made out of zealot corpses. I won't stop you.
This is a very informal game, meaning that actions will be tallied at random and varying times, depending on how my time management lends itself to the game.
if you don't want to leave your actions open to interpretation to the DM, make sure you do specify things.
Above all? Try to have fun.

The curving wing of a gull in flight glances upon the surface of the sea, a shimmering fish spiraling up into the sky while caught inside of its keenly sharp beak.
Softness, warmth that is supine and spreads its breezy folds like the petals of a flower, shifts through turquoise waters in a susurrus of sunbeams and sand the color of finely-ground bone. The stick-like legs of pinkish-red birds, little more than reeds digging into the smooth, sappy muck, prickle and delicately bend in the shallows. Beneath the surface, vibrant fish shimmer and shine through strands of seaweed and the abundant furrows of coral there.
Dreaming and idleness. Pleasant thoughts. The cape of sand is a nice warm-touch, nestling beneath his head like a soft downy cushion as the bright pearl in the endless blue above warms his belly. His scales and thick, rugged hide stir only faintly with each heavy snore, resembling a mountain that is still and dreaming. A wide maw with briny and mostly dried saltwater sifting through lets a heavy whuff of air loose, every snore a windstorm that sends shudders throughout the ever-widening ripples of the sea.
There is an all-pervading hum of insects wavering like ballroom music in the air. An oriflamme of green— a mixed conflagration of fiery jewel tones misting in circles and the treetops alight with bluish-pink morning dew, circles further along the shoreline. Blossoms starved of sunlight cave inward beneath its shade.
A hearty snuffle followed by an indignant snort issues from the beast’s blunt and barnacle-encrusted snout with all the grace of a ship’s foghorn. Eyes like pools of dark water slide open, their oily centers clouded with pure, immobilizing tranquility. Light and reflections glide across them in amorphous streams of color as his great skull drags across the sand, settling upon a solitary speck of pale, fluttering light settled at the middle of his muzzle.
Tiny legs that are microscopic in comparison shift indistinctly; the fuzzy and soft dabbing of wings against his left nostril is ticklish and barely there, but a single contemplative surge of breath sends the butterfly reeling away. In a heave of inconceivable effort, the cold-blooded creature rises up onto his hind legs with a drowsy yawn, the spinal plating along his back rippling like the colossal Alps shorn of their snowcaps.
An ocean swell coils and bursts, white foam spewing out in all directions from where it has crashed against the slippery rocks situated beside him. It tosses upwards, gleaming under a crack of disintegrated light as it sieves along his scales, before retreating once more back into the salt and spray. The breeze roars, gasps, and intermittently dies, stinging like an angry paper wasp when a whitecap prickles against it just right.
The concentrated sun burns hot upon the fledgling reptile’s back, the swirl-shaped whorl of brightness and painted blue in the sky sending flickers of tarnished silver and throaty copper heaving across his sides. On wobbly legs, he slides unsteadily over crumbling stones and crushed plant matter, seeking relief from the heat of the day in the sweet chill of the ocean.
A transparent lip weaves gently over the sloping bumps of his eyes as he sinks below the waves headfirst, pawing briefly at the tumbling rocks as he drags himself into the water. Slight, thin beams of light mark his progress, furling like frothy lace curtains in the midst of an arising cloud of disturbed sand.
It is comfortable in the deep; little whale shark spots travel along his dark and immense frame as he rolls and swims headlong into it, the slightest thrash of his meaty tail causing a school of fish to take off in a spiraling cascade of silver. The last breath he had taken before descending settles coolly into his veins, a bubble curling out from his nostrils like a loosened skein of transparent stomach.
Bottle green tumult churns upon the surface of the sea. The reflection of a pale structure settled upon the coastline flickers across its surface with each shuddering burst and rumbling peal of oceanic snarls, clouds and sea fog moored as low as ships sidling towards it in the simmering heat of midday.
No one in the meager trickle of houses scattered further along the island shore are certain of when this building had first been erected. Some say it was built by some generous abbess from a sunny land far away, whereas others claim it had merely appeared one day, rising up out of the hazy ocean in a veritable tower of glittering white aluminum slab.
Articulate and limber vines obscure it from sight, shadows cast in a glassy diamond fade plunging deep within the jungle. Sand-riddled rocks crawl up to the front step of this laboratory hewn from creamy stones and what appear to be the remnants of a shipwrecked vessel.
And soon, as assuredly as the waves lap against the rocks, the sea will reclaim her.
Just not yet.

As you all know, the Omniverse has a decently large, but not enormous userbase. Which is a good thing, really, because it means that you're not one among millions
And, unlike in MMORPGs where hardcore players jump on a new quest/area/instance the minute it's released and complete it within the first hour of release, there's content that has not been explored yet, things that haven't been done, epic feats and achievements that have yet to be achieved.
So, I want to keep a list of the "epic", notable feats, and who was the first to do so. Note that it's not the same as the Omniverse achievements by Proto Man (which are much more awesome, anyway). If you know someone who has achieved something amazing, of a feat that has yet to be accomplished but which would be epic or you want to correct any entry, do let me know and I'll adjust the list accordingly.
Who was the first to unlock the Void Gate in each of the eight verses?
The Pale Moors: Shang & Atelos
The Tangled Green: Dem secondaries in the saga.
The Vasty Deep: Doomguy seems to be working on that?
The Endless Dunes: Caira!
The Ashen Steppes, Frozen Fields, Dataverse: None yet?
Who was the first to meet Omni?
Probably the same as the first to open a void gate? Shang & Atelos? Or someone else?
Who was the first to go to Hell - literally (aka get banished)?
In total, it was Violet. As a result of graded fights, it was Stephan Donnel.
Who was the first to have 3 characters?
Monsieur Proto!
Who was the first to escape the Underverse?
Trixie, after over a year's stay in there!

Character name: Tarius
Character source: Original (based on Dark Souls)
Character history:
Even from early on in his life, Tarius was known to be exceptionally talented in combat. So talented in fact, that he drew the attention of Ornstein himself. Ornstein gave him the opportunity of a lifetime; the chance to train directly under him. Tarius accepted wholeheartedly.
Tarius trained until he became second only to his master. By this time, their bond was one like that of father and son. Much of their time was spent strolling Anor Londo, discussing the decaying state of the city. However, one day Ornstein gave Tarius troubling news. He said that he would soon have to abandon him to serve as a personal guard to Gwnevere, Princess of Sunlight. He told Tarius that he would have to wait until a warrior strong enough to defeat him made his way to Anor Londo. Tarius pleaded that Ornstein allow him to fight with him, but to no avail.
Ornstein gave Tarius one of his spare, gold-plated, sets of armor and requested that he leave Anor Londo as soon as possible. Tarius grudgingly said that he would respect his wishes. Clad in the brilliant armor of Ornstein, Tarius made his way to the outer edges of Anor Londo when suddenly he disappeared, as if he were whisked off to another dimension...

At 6'8'', Tarius is taller than most other humans. He has an average body type considering his height. He has a scar along his right eye earned in a sparring match.
Stats:
ATK: 2
DEF: 2
SPD: 4
TEC: 2
Starting Proficiencies: (2600) Physical Strength (1000), Ranged Proficiency (1000), Homing Proficiency (600)
Starting Powers: (800) Burst Movement (800) Ornstein taught Tarius the art of drastically increasing speed for a short period of time as a way to confuse and disorient opponents, close distances, and reposition himself.
Starting Moves:
Dragonslayer Spear (300) - This golden spear was given to Tarius as a gift. It is as tall as he is, and requires the use of two hands to be effective. It gives him a far reach at the cost of being fairly slow.
Great Lightning Spear (300) - Tarius stands still and channels a spear of lightning for about one and a half seconds. He then throws the spear, which homes in on its target. It moves about as fast as an arrow and is about one meter long. It is tiring to use.
