Ricky had been ordered by Warren Zimmer to come to this world, Coruscant. Apparently Warren had a problem with the existence of some of the clones on this planet, but couldn't handle it himself. His grand idea had been to have Ricky infiltrate the Empire and learn where the clones were produced so that he could strike them down then and there. Why Warren wouldn't handle this himself, he had no clue. But Ricky did owe Warren for restoring the NFL-R he used to functionality as he wasn't the scientist type and thus couldn't have done that himself. But the assignment was difficult as Ricky didn't know much about the world he was currently on. Sure he'd been briefed by Warren about Omni and all the other things. This assignment was going to be a rather difficult one given it was something he'd never done before.
Still as he walked about through the first level of Coruscant in his human form, Ricky began to hatch a plan. It seemed the Primes here were wanted for study. Perhaps if he participated in being 'examined' he could earn some influence with the Empire and maybe have them find a way to make his powers work without Warren's help. It was a long shot, but one he was willing to take at the moment. "This assignment Warren gave me will be a challenge. After all I never wanted it." There had to be some way Ricky could gain the power he'd need in order to overcome his ties to Warren. Coruscant was certainly a shining city, and very advanced.... at least on the first level where he was presently. But it begged the question how was this world so ahead of his time? Going around Ricky was looking for some work so that he could earn more of the substance Omnilium. There had to be some sort of employment that he could do that would earn him the required amounts in order to get strong enough to ensure his victory over that villain, Wild Card.
"Hmm. What work could I do?"
Ricky was presently looking for anything he could do job wise as he actually could use the employment.

As Scarecrow fell through the other side of the gate, he crashed into cold snow, shivering he got up and started to pace in a general direction. The wind picked up the further Scarecrow got in the icy cold fields. A cold dark mist fell over Scarecrows vision. Hours past as he forced him self through the hard freezing snow, Scarecrow felt the icy ground rumble almost bringing off his feet, a red flash blazed out of the dark mist. Scarecrow look up trying to shield his disfigured face, the mist cleared only to revile a giant machine starring at "Hello there Machine if your friendly then we need to find shelter, if your not friendly then then you'll be in for a surprise.

Hey y'all. So I kinda wanna try my hand at organizing a group. Soooo who wants to join the Omniverse Avengers?
The function of the team is the same as Marvel's Avengers. For those who don't know (but I imagine most of you do) the Avengers are a team of Earth's mightiest heroes (although many were not from Earth), who theoretically "assemble" at times of need. While "times of need" were generally defined as "literally everyone's dying" but then eventually they did just about everything together.
So that's the plan. A team of the Omniverse's mightiest (or even like somewhat okay) heroes, who are pretty independent but occasionally are called in to accomplish a mission.
This is pretty strictly a good-guy deal. Villains who are turning their lives around will be accepted, but treated with suspicion and all that.
What y'all think?
INTERESTED:
- Alexander Blakesly
- Gambit
- Star-Lord
- Proto Man
- Mickey Mouse?
- Weiss Schnee
PART-TIME INTERESTED:
- Blink
- Jack Darby
- Handsome Jack (apparently XD)

“Everything is ready, sir.”
Scarecrow looked back towards his second-in-command, tearing his eyes off of his binoculars pointed directly at the rally below.
“Good. Do you have the detonator?” he replied, moving his hand out behind him. The henchman moved his hand to his belt, removing the rectangular detonator from it before setting it in the criminal’s gloved palm. He tightened his grip almost immediately, setting it on the edge of the rooftop as he stared through his binoculars.
It was a definite fortune for him that the police chief had chosen to base his rally in front of a large building; specifically, the office building they had raided a few days ago. The chief must have thought holding a ceremony for the fallen on the place they had fell would strike a chord with the public. Sadly (okay, not so sadly,) for him, it was just what he wanted. Him and his rabble had been terrorizing the good people of Coruscant for far too long; they abused the public, removing rights that they deserved to the point where no one knew what true freedom was. Enough was enough in his eyes. If they would not listen, then he would make them listen.
A healthy dose of fear can change the minds of anyone. Fear rattled the mind and corrupted the soul, turning the most intelligent and elegant of man into irrational creatures with no regards for the safety of anyone but themselves. Once a man starts looking out for himself and himself only, they’ll believe anything told to them.
Stars twinkled the digital sky, illuminating the wide, open rooftop that Scarecrow and his henchman stood on. Just below were seemingly hundreds of men, women, and children attending the ceremony, as well as a fair amount of soldiers to go along with it. Their leader, the Chief, stood on a wooden pedestal draped in the Empire’s colors, speaking into a microphone that rang out across the plaza. Normally, the crime boss would have activated his plan by now, but he wanted to wait. An unidentified whistleblower had sent them a copy of the prepared speech. The words by the end were just too good an opportunity to pass up; he had to activate his plan by then. It was exactly the message he wanted to get across.
So he waited; he waited and his listened to the drones of the Chief as he gave his speech. His hand inched towards the detonator.
A whoosh of air flew past his head as his fingers clamped down where the detonator used to be.
He whirled around, setting his binoculars down. Standing at the opposite end of the rooftop, having apparently just gotten there a few moments ago, was a small, stout skeleton wearing a blue jacket, white turtleneck, and staring at them with two white glowing eyes and a goofy smile. At first, both Scarecrow and his second-in-command were confused as to who this creature was… until he spoke.
“looks like you got my text after all… sorry i’m late, but you know…” he said, chuckling in a deep, casual voice, “couldn’t help but notice that, uh… you were scheming and all that.”
He raised his right hand, the detonator gripped firmly in his bony fingers. His glowing eyes had disappeared, leaving a black void in his eyelids.
“normally, i’d let it slide…. but i think i’ve given you plenty of chances, scarecrow.”

Howdy Omniverse, since I've finally gotten this character off the ground I figure it would be a good time to throw up an interest thread for this.
Basically, I'm looking to create a faction that revolves around mercenary work and bounty hunting. Our base would be located in the Ashen Steppes and once I earn 1000 OM I'll summon the base and the hunting can begin. Ideally we'd make a name for ourselves and even go after people with artefacts and maybe other factions, but that'd be somewhere down the line. Early on we'd mainly be focused on cleaning up the bounty board and collecting that delicious OM. You could work solo or form a group to gank people.
There are a few requirements for joining.
- Must be at least level 2.
- Must be willing to kill other players and/or potentially banish them. We'll mainly be going for kills, but if someone hires us to banish we'd have no qualms with following through.
- Be courteous OOC when hunting. We'll be going around killing other PCs and generally being jerks, but OOC we should be reasonable when issueing challenges/fighting people.
- In order to avoid drama, be willing to communicate with your quarry OOC and notify them when you are going to be hunting them. If they don't want to fight it is your discretion on whether or not you want to crash their party, but naturally you must follow the PvP/Hunting rules.
- You can join other factions, but if we come to hunt one of your fellow faction members we expect you to be at least neutral in the conflict. (This one is more of an IC requirement than anything, you can break it, but you'd be excommunicated from the Ashen Blades.)
If you have any questions or clarifications about the factions, feel free to ask.

I'm tired.
I'm tired of feeling like I don't belong anywhere, not even when among my family and friends. I'm tired of hating the person string back at me in the mirror, of obsessing over what I look like so I can feel like a halfway-decent human being. I'm tired of the nights when I can sleep because of all the thoughts running through my head. Im tired of seeing myself as worthless, but how the hell do I Begin to tell somebody that?
One of my biggest fears is that of abandonment, and every time I even begin to try and tell someone in real life about my fears and how I feel, I'm petrified, and the only thing I can see happening is them leaving me. I've never had many friends, and those I do are very special to me, practically family. But even then, I can't bring myself to tell. The only reason I'm writing this is because Of anonymity.
My nightmares are so real and possible, that sometimes I'm get so scared, I cant eat. Whether it be flashbacks, or situations that seem so likely to happen, that it bleeds into my everyday life. I try to keep a brave face, but that only gets you so far, right? I don't know what to do anymore...

Step 1: Make a post. This post should be at least 600 words. You may also post multiple times adding up to 600 words or more.
Step 2: Click on your post number. This should be located at the top right of your post, denoted by a hashtag and a number. The URL should populate with a hashtag and post ID at the end (see the bolded part on the end here: http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=81&pid=357#pid357). Copy the entire URL from your address bar.
Step 3: Post it in the active fortnightly gains topic. The date of your post should be within the date range, GMT. If you are submitting multiple posts that add up to 600, post all of the links.
Step 4 (optional): If you have posted in the current book club, please include a link to that post along with the text 'book club'.
Step 5 (optional): If you have a Recognition bonus, please include in your post 'Recognition bonus: +50'. If you have an Ascendancy bonus, please post with 'Ascendancy bonus: +100'.
That's all you need to do! When the topic is updated, you will be given 300 OM. Obviously if you have a recognition or ascendancy bonus, this will be increased by 50 or 100. A book club bonus will increase this by a further 100. If no mod has posted at the end of the topic, then it hasn't been updated yet. You do not need to ask "has the thread been updated? I didn't get my OM" every week.
New fortnightly gains topics go up every second Sunday at midnight (at the end of Saturday and the dawn of Sunday) GMT+1/BST. The valid time begins on Sunday at 0000 hours BST and ends on Saturday at 2359 BST.

The nexus was a central land that no one faction controlled. But whoever controlled it could potentially control all the primes, and eliminate them. The clone troopers and the Camelot soldiers who daily waged war here were proof of that matter. It was a minor hassle in the grand scheme and barely worth the time of Warren. Given that he’d set up a base of operations his net plan was to head to the world of Camelot. There he would follow up on learning the ability of ‘magic’ so he could add it to his arsenal. New powers would need to be picked up by him but it was something he believed that would be definitely worth it.
Truthfully what he needed was something more powerful. Sure he could cut his opponents down to size with his sword but it couldn’t be the only item in his bag of tricks. Right now he couldn’t afford it being his only power because he’d need something more than that. Defending his home of Fort Zimmer would rquire nothing more than more power for himself. This meant his level of strength was definitely going to need to increase, so he’d have to learn more about the Omnilium.
One of the emotions he’d experienced when he’d been outgunned and outmatched by the clones was genuine fear. It was not an emotion Warren LIKED to experience. For one of the actual few times, he’d been afraid for his life. Unlike his battles with the Guardians, he knew the clones wouldn’t hold back and spare his life. They would probably try to end his life at some point which in his opinion was unacceptable. If he was to survive he would need more than simply just the power he possessed due to his technology. Allies would be a big help if he was in any fashion to survive and that meant he’d need to acquire them.
When a civilian approached him, a regular boy and started pestering him about what was bugging him Warren’s hand shot out and he grabbed the boy by the neck before throwing him a good distance away. His mood was not a good one right now. . For he was furious, and also afraid which was not a good combination to say the least. The civilian was lucky in that he ended up on a couch that Warren had the haste to make out of Omnilium.
There had to be some idiots that could be persuaded with some effort on his part to help him acquire some real power. One of the light-sabers from Coruscant for example, would be a really useful addition to his arsenal. A real one, not the fake thing he’d made would be preferable to be honest, because he’d need such in order to make himself stronger. Yet he’d have to build it on his own likely on another world… as he didn’t want anything to deal with the clones. Once burned, twice shy. In that regard Warren supposed. This was why Warren was by the Fountain in the Nexus, to see if he could find anyone he could easily con into doing his dirty work for him and culling the population of the clones on Coruscant.
