(Not necessarily Marvel) Avengers Faction Interest Check - The Vision - 07-10-2016
Hey y'all. So I kinda wanna try my hand at organizing a group. Soooo who wants to join the Omniverse Avengers?
The function of the team is the same as Marvel's Avengers. For those who don't know (but I imagine most of you do) the Avengers are a team of Earth's mightiest heroes (although many were not from Earth), who theoretically "assemble" at times of need. While "times of need" were generally defined as "literally everyone's dying" but then eventually they did just about everything together.
So that's the plan. A team of the Omniverse's mightiest (or even like somewhat okay) heroes, who are pretty independent but occasionally are called in to accomplish a mission.
This is pretty strictly a good-guy deal. Villains who are turning their lives around will be accepted, but treated with suspicion and all that.

Deadpool's antics will be welcomed OoC, and more or less tolerated IC. As long as you don't, you know, go into genocide mode.

I mean, here's what I was planning. I was thinking I'd just send like a wide-range broadcast being like "Looking for heroes" or some such thing.
This is also a low-commitment faction. You can either devote a large portion of your time here (in-comics examples include Iron Man and Hawkeye) or you could do this as a side-gig (like Wolverine or Spider-Man).
Again, everyone with a hero complex is welcome to join. It is recommended you get a Communicator if you don't have one already, so that I can get in touch with you IC, and also so you can eventually (I'm working on it) teleport to the base.
Yes, there'll be a base. I'm still deliberating on where that base would be, so if anyone has a preference, go ahead and tell me. It'll be the Avengers Tower, btdubs.

I'm leaving this here as a note to myself, and so you know to have me on your radar, Vision.
Ammy used to hunt demons and evil spirits in her homeworld, which could be what she specializes in if she joins the Avengers force. However, I don't know how long it's going to be before I can free her up to join the force, as I want to wholly focus on her Frozen Fields story first. But after that? It may very well be an option, if only for a time.

While Judy isn't quite as powerful as most, she's still an officer of the law. Well, she used to be, anyway. She's more than willing to help out if it means helping innocent people.

To clarify, this is a team of BIG DAMN HEROES? A team for fighting the big, obvious threats that crop up here and there?
Neat. I'm planning to set up a faction of Interpol/Overwatch/SHIELD style, so expect support though not membership from Carmelita.
