  Boredom

Chara felt disapointed that she had died to water and shook her head as she just laid down and thought about what had happens for her time here and felt that she would try next time to not kill anyone even though her motto is "Kill or be killed" and waited for something to happen.

  The Green Shield of Camelot
Posted by: Isabelle - 07-09-2016, 04:57 PM - Forum: Camelot - Replies (6)

As I tread across the white void, one thing became apparent… I really had to pee.

Like really bad.

I forgotten that I was taken to this place while I was napping. I always need to pee after a long nap. Makes me wonder why more protagonists that wake up into an adventure don’t have this problem.

Looking around, outside the fountain and the occasional person, I couldn’t see any structure to indicate an outhouse. Not even a single bush to be heard of. Do people just don’t pee in this universe? I had to hold it for two hours straight as I walked to the designated structure, hoping to Toriel that it has a toilet or something. My bladder was filled to burst.

Finally making it to my destination, I was disappointed to see what looked like an archway made of stone. Still nothing that looked like a toilet. Hoping it was a magical portal or something, I ran into it without looking.

When I opened my eyes again, I was briefly blinded by daylight.

Well, this place has one thing over the Underground at least.

As my eyes adjusted I saw I was standing on a long dirt road expanding into grass covered hills and lush forests. A signpost designated which route would lead you. I didn’t read it as I was distracted by a greater need.

“Bushes!” I yell out.

The lush green brush that lined a nearby forest would mark my savior. It doesn’t match up to an actual toilet, but I wasn’t really picky at the moment.

I quickly ran towards them, my bladder burning in strain. As soon as I was obscured by the leaves, I got to business and relieved myself. I got some strange looks from the armor clad men and the merchants. While they couldn’t see what I was doing, it was pretty obvious what was happening. I didn’t care, this was an emergency, and not my fault I don’t have a bladder of steel like they do.

“Hey! Hey! Hey! You’re pissing all over my house!” A small voice yelled up.

A little man with bug like wings flew up to my face. Realizing I wasn’t private anymore, I hastily put my shorts back on, but while doing so, I noticed I had been squating over a tiny house with a white picket fence, which was now covered in pee. The man really got in my face, and the distinct smell of urine emanated from him.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t see you there.” I said, embarrassed.

“Sorry won’t clean my house, get lost!” He yelled as he flew back to his house.

With my shorts back on, I broke from the bushes and got back to the clearing with the road, not wanting to deal with this situation. I’ve talked my way out of situations before, but this one was beyond me.

As soon as I was clear from the forest, I suddenly heard a high pitched laugh.

“That was quite a show little one!”

I looked around for the source but didn’t have to look to far. It was a little green man with a large crooked nose, large sharp teeth, and ragged clothing.

“What kind of monster are you?” I asked.

“Monster? Who are you calling a monster?” He asked angrily.

“Oh, I’m sorry.” I responded apologetically. “I guess that word is a less than PC term in this world.”

The little man chuckled.

“New to the Omniverse, I see!” He said extending a hand. “My names Cho’kin. Nice to meet such a strange human.”

“Frisk.” I said, reaching out to shaking his hand. “What’s the Omniverse?”

“Oh boy, you have a lot to learn, human.” He said, giving another chuckle. “Well, you amuse me, so let me give you the full tour!”

We continued down the road as I followed the direction my soul was taking me. Little did I know the danger that awaited ahead.

A lovely day for a death race.
Posted by: Erik Vrell - 07-09-2016, 07:37 AM - Forum: The Nexus - Replies (3)

Erik strode through the portal, glad to be out of the heat. While he passed through, his thoughts turned to the assistants of Nealaphh in the Steppes.

"A standing invitation to the Institute. Maybe that's something I'll take him up on. Maybe I'll find out what happened to Sasuke and Victor." Erik felt a pang of sadness as he thought of his comrades. He hadn't heard from Victor or Sasuke since the spirit of Teucer had taken the heroes to his graveyard, and the fact that Nealaphh had the sword of kusanagi did not bode well. Well, one way or another, Erik would find out what had happened.

While walking, Erik couldn't help but ponder the name of the stranger who had invited him to race.

"Jak Mar... Jak Mar... Where have I heard that name before?" Erik wondered. He eventually conceded that he couldn't place the name to anyone, and hoped that it would become more clear when he saw the man or woman. Erik flashed a quick look around the Nexus, looking for the any sign of this person before realising that he had no idea which gate led to the Pale Moors, not that he could identify this mystery person in the distance anyway. Erik had come upon the fountain of infinity before long, and decided to wait there. He took out his dataverse device and typed out a reply to the email, before taking a seat at the fountain.

"I hope they don't take too long." Erik mumbled impatiently.

  A stupid idea
Posted by: Saint Walker (Blue Lantern) - 07-09-2016, 06:44 AM - Forum: Omniverse Discussion - Replies (6)

I just had a dumb idea, why don't we let people in the underverse have access to the dataverse and communicators, but instead of being connected via the normal dataverse, they have their own, Undernet. (I'm sure someone could do it IC but I can't so if someone wants to try it please do)

  'Fame' Bonus?
Posted by: Tearen Wover - 07-08-2016, 11:24 AM - Forum: Omniverse Discussion - Replies (6)

So I was thinking,

Though plenty of Primes haven't gained Recognition, I think there are more than a few who have publicized their presence in the Omniverse to the point where, perhaps, they could gain some measure of renown.

Okor and Tartaros especially come to mind, since they were both involved in two highly televised and widely promoted events (Colosseum and DA'15).

Perhaps, after participating in a certain number of events that have Omniverse-wide audiences, certain Primes could gain a small bonus of some kind. These events would specifically have to be public ones, so The Heroes Graveyard and DA'16 (as far as we know) don't count. Not sure about the Secondary Saga or Death Mountain. In the case of SS, the entire thing WAS videotaped, and I'm guessing that Top Man's recordings were viewed by just about fucking everyone in the Omniverse, considering he got a selfie with Omni, etc, so in this case, I'd think maybe yes. Death Mountain was a legendary feat, but no one was really trying to record the events or who was doing what, aside from Nealaphh, so in that case, maybe no. (Maybe I should put an IC synopsis on Antiomni.org...)

Besides, we all know that entertainment trumps gravitas.

I'm not sure what such a bonus would be; I don't feel qualified to discern that. But I feel the concept in and of itself holds decent merit.

The Town is very large.  It feels like it doesn't belong on what's otherwise a tropical island, but hey, you shouldn't expect anything less.

There are some outlying suburbs (where the three girls are).  There's a downtown area with some taller buildings (that for someone reason no one can spot from the rest of the island #IslandPhysics).  There's a commercial area, filled with shops and restaurants.  Places for tourists.  Probably a seedy, redlight district.  Then there are also slums/'the shitty part of town' as well.

My plan was to let the people in the town just sort of write and catch their breath.  It's been a lot of Doctor Who-style 'RUN' so far.  So as it stands, I don't plan to throw any violence at the people in the town for Round 6.  As I mentioned, all of you can explore.  You can find each other if you so desire.

If you have any questions or need anything else, you can PM or Skype me.

With a gasp, Cyborg's eyes shot open. He shot up, blaster at the ready. Nothing. He found himself sitting on the cold ivory stone floor of the Nexus. A sigh of relief escaped from his lips as his heavy breathing began to slow. The last thing he remembered was his arm being ripped from its socket, the pain engulfed him ad he tried to carry onward on that hellish island. But now he was safe, back where it all started. The voice of Omni rang through his mind as he remembered the being's words.

"Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn."

The cryptic message from the strange God seemed to be truth. That death was not a permanent fate. The pain however was very real... Cyborg shuddered as he thought of the heat that emanated off the golem's body. The helpless feeling he had has his arm was wretched from his body as if it were nothing. His arm, it was intact however. He wiggled his fingers of his new found appendage. Somehow the shock of such a brutal death brought him back to a physical form, something that was unheard of from what Cyborg had read.

"Cyborg?! Are you there" A voice in his communicator chirped.

"Huh? Yea yea, I'm here, what's the problem Seargeant?"

"Are you alright? We lost sign of you in the omniverse a few days ago and then suddenly you came back on our radar" The voice of Sergeant Watson implored.

"Yea, I ended up on some island, something to do with the Dante's abyss but now I'm back"

"Well it's good to have you back kid, we've got a situation. Some of our boys were in pursuit of wanted men, now they are in a fight outside the Camelot gate, think you could lend them a hand?"

"Yea, I'll head there now" Cyborg said as he uneasily got to his feet.

As Cyborg began to remember his time in Courscant a startling realization took over his every thought. He had been hacked. There were tines he felt strangely about the verse but alleys seemed to look the other way instead of face the truth of the Empire's corruption, and his untimely death some how freed him from this stealthy virus. His time on the lower tiers were nothing but proof of this. Still, EPD helped him apprehend Slade, so the logical reasoning has to be that not ALL of the Empire were bad, at least not knowingly. At any rate crime still had a foot hold in this verse and Cyborg swore to do everything he could to bring justice to those who would dare think themselves above the law. With a sigh he concentrated on summoning his car once again,  hoping to make it in time to prevent unnecessary casualties.

The beautiful mustang popped into exsitance after a few moments. With out wasting time Cyborg jumped into the driver's seat and sped towards the Camelot gate.
