Personality: Jak Mar is a guy full of anger. Not only is he a angry man, his anger is directed toward Baron Praxis and Erol, the two that "personally" tortured him with Dark Eco for two years in prison. Now that Daxter had helped him escape the prison, Jak has a dark side which causes him pain, nightmares, and anger issues every day of his life. Jak is also reckless. He has a tendency to run into Krimzon guards, not caring what the consequences of his actions may be, he is living on his survival instincts. He is also shown to like racing and taking out metal heads with his weapons. He cannot control his dark form as well as he possibly could or would of wanted to. He is forced to traverse Haven City, a city that he is not used to. Jak doesn't tend to talk too much, he could be known as the "Man of few words". Piss him off and you'll have to deal with Dark Jak, and you don't want to deal with Jak's anger issues.


Character history:Throughout Jak's life, he grew up in a peaceful town named Sandover city and he had his friend daxter by his side. Samos, Jak's adopted uncle took care of them and he had a daughter named Keira. So there was this time Jak and Daxter decided to disobey Samos to go to Misty Island. Long story short, both of them crawled up to the dark eco hole and Jak tripped over something accidently pushing Daxter inside the dark eco. He popped out as a small ottsel and freaked out. So both of them begin the journey to find dark eco sages named Gol and Maia to change daxter back to normal. Throughout the game, you helped various characters do certain stuff for precursor orbs. As soon as Gol and Maia were defeated, there was no way to change Daxter back so he decided to stay small.

Jak gets propelled to the future 200 years later to run into a large technologically advanced city run by a tyrant named Baron Praxis. To make matters worse, a strange man named Erol and some guards came straight up to him and said they found him, only to drag him off to prison for two years.

Busting out of prison with Daxter's help, They run into a old man who needs their help and after Jak and Daxter help, he leads them to the Underground to meet Torn, who turns out to be a Ex-Krimzon guard who is the boss of the Underground. Jak is in the cause for something completely different then the Undergrounds main purpose but he wants revenge on the Baron anyway he can get it.

Jak has done lots of regrettable things that furthered his goals, but caused problems for everyone else.

Jak helps the Underground and meets the Shadow in the process later, meets Ashelin, Tess, Sig, Jinx, and Keira, and Erol himself.

Jak learns to control dark jak, meets a lot of others and gets his final revenge on Baron Praxis.

Blaster- Jak's gun, that has a lock-on mod the gun that aims at target with perfect efficiency and accuracy . Weakness is that this gun cannot much damage. (300 OM)

Vulcan Fury- A machine gun-like gun that shoots like a barrel, comes with a lock on mod as well. Can shoot fast, and cause a lot of damage, but it doesn't always hit a target.(300 OM)

Peacemaker- A dark eco gun that shoots a medium ball of dark eco at the target. It can cause a lot of damage, but hard to aim, and shoots slow.(300 OM)

Tick.. Tick... Tick. Time was passing slowly. There wasn't a second guess as to what was going on that day as Jak laid in the prison bed, tensing up when there was passing times and screaming coming from the middle of the Fortress. Time moved too slowly, Jak heard a door open, and there was Erol and two Krimzon guards standing outside the door. Jak frowned as the same thing happened day after day and he growled, struggling in the two guards grasps from the form he had inside of him.

Erol had come down to the chair before the two guards tried to fight off the struggling Jak turning Dark Jak. Today would not be a good day. Jak struggled in the chair as the two guards forced him on the chair and locked the two arm and leg restraints on the chair. Soon after, a large streak of dark eco went into Jak's body, forcing him to scream loud. He tried to fight the feeling of screaming, but it just kept coming up. Jak was laying there, his body looking up at the angry eyes of Erol as if the man was trying to get something from Jak's eyes. Jak wanted desperately to rip Erol to shreds, but it would have to wait.

Jak got unlocked from the restraints but this time he would attack the guards. Jak turned Dark Jak and the guards turned to run with tazers as Dark Jak hit one with his claws "ENOUGH,! CAN'T YOU SEE I HAD ENOUGH!"

They managed to knock Dark Jak down before he murdered three guards in cold blood. He changed back into Jak and was dragged roughly by the guards toward the cell. Not before a portal opened to a light world to the Omniverse sucked him in.

"Where the hell was he?!"

It states in the description that you must specify a verse and the location inside that verse for said base.  I imagine something like "Coruscant - Tier 5" or "The Tangled Green - Yggdrasil."

My question is whether or not you can change the location of your base.  After all, what if things in that verse go sour for your character?  Say I'm chased out of my cottage in the outskirts of the Tangled Green by orcs or that I am living in Camelot and accidentally get into the bad graces of the Kingdom's leadership.  Can I pack up shop and relocate or would my house be stuck there?

The one, the only, PROTO MAN! Be gentle, he's new. But he's also pretty good with this kind of stuff, as he did kind of administrate Another Destiny before me. So don't be gentle.

With the Dataverse a few days behind him, Proto Man found himself attempting to direct his energies elsewhere, lest he dwell too much on his feelings toward Coruscant and Judge Dredd. He found such plans easier than he would have thought due to the interesting parcels of information he was able to obtain from recent news.

The reports were disheartening at best. There were several news stories about the humanoid robots leaving his hotel. Those were followed by a string of sightings and at least one armed conflict at a transit station. Since the robots’ armaments didn’t match the murder weapon, the police had rule them out as suspects in the original homicide. Most of their energy was now towards something called the ‘Liberation Front,’ which apparently was behind a few other terrorist acts, although nothing on the scale of the attempted Dataverse takeover.

Since his apartment was down the hall from the scene of a crime, Proto Man decided not to return to ‘El Presidente.’ His other reason was to avoid any unwanted attention from Dredd. While the two were on half-decent terms following Proto Man’s actions in the Dataverse, the android wanted to avoid being on the Judge’s radar as much as he could.

With that in mind, the Robot Master found himself in an upscale cafe-slash-Dataverse hotspot. He figured his Dataverse connection could easily be tapped or at least watched, so he went with the low-tech solution. The news reports were little more than sixth-page tidbits given the recent activities in other verses. Thus far, he could verify that Crash Man, Magnet Man, and Guts Man were in Coruscant. Of those, only Crash Man had performed anything outside the confines of the law, when he flushed out an elevator on the other side of the city. Were these Robot Masters all working together? Nothing in the articles seemed to imply that, but why would Crash Man essentially hold up an elevator and wreck all the cameras?

He’s got to be covering for allies...but who?

Crash and Magnet had never met, and Guts Man had been functioning within parameters on Proto Man’s visit to Dr. Light’s laboratory/house.

With a scowl, Proto Man closed the display and stood up from the chair. If the Robot masters had fled to a lower tier than he had to do so as well. The last thing he needed on his conscience was a bunch of chaotic brothers .

And a sister? The initial report had mentioned a blonde girl in red. Where would a machine go to hide…

“You’re pretty easy to find, you know.”

A gasp escaped Proto Man’s mouth as he turned to see the cloaked inspector standing behind him.

“Security Guard Gashon,” the robot muttered as the pale man grinned.

“Please, I am off duty, it’s just Gashon. How are you doing, Proto Man? I saw all the news reports about your little adventure in the Dataverse. That’s a shame what happened to those Copper Eye lads. Does Dredd have you on his payroll?”

“I’m not on anyone’s payroll.” Proto Man glared behind his visor, despite knowing the other man couldn’t see his eyes. “Are you stalking me, Gashon?” Try as he could, Proto Man couldn’t bring himself to have a neutral opinion of the pale, cloaked guard. Something about Gashon’s eyes were off-putting--like he was an eagle patiently watching its prey scurry about.

“No, no… I just thought I’d follow up with you about the investigation.”

“The police already linked it to some terror cell.”

“I wasn’t talking about the murder. I was referring to the mystery robots with the somewhat cartoonish proportions and specific themes that were seen fleeing from your hotel. Like the bomb-armed android who held up that elevator.”

“What do you know?” Proto Man asked, his tone intensifying as he took a step closer to the cloaked man.

Gashon, sensing that he’d struck a nerve by bringing up the topic, smiled and held up his hands. During the motion, his cloak slid away, revealing a strange sidearm attached to his belt. The inspector was quick to fix his heavy garment before opening his mouth to speak again. “Some of my contacts on Tier Four have information that several androids slipped down through utility pipes that connect to Tier Six. He also has some reports from his contact on Tier Two that some robots took a freight lift down to Tier Six as well.”

“What’s on Tier Six?”

The guardsman shrugged his shoulders. “Nothing… it’s the furthest down you can go and still see the trappings of an actual culture. It’s a bunch of ghettos and industrial parks. It’s not a place civilized people or even Imperial soldiers like to go. Just a bunch of roving mobs and Motorball clubs.”

“So then it’d be a great place to hide?”

Gashon nodded his head. “Most of the people down there are hiding from one thing or another. There are few better options. Five is nicer and has a few functioning guard stations. You’d like Five… it’s a lot like a pre-FTL urban setting.”

“I don’t care about Five.” The robot interrupted, his mouth twisting up into a scowl that ensured the man stayed silent for the moment. “Tell me how to get to Six.”

“There aren’t many direct routes from here, with the exception of some telepads the Imperials might use. You ain’t getting to one of those, so your best bet to remain under the scope is to take a utility line from Three. Unfortunately, you’re going to attract attention wherever you wind up, kid…especially from Copper Eye sympathizers.”

“I’ll make due,” the android shot back. “Where are the lines on Three?”

“If you take Elevator Tri-Beta, you can access a utility conduit in an adjacent building. It’ll be the big one with the yellow trim on the windows, so it’d be pretty hard to miss. It’s not exactly a public structure, though.”

Without replying to that statement, Proto Man left the cafe in a hurry.

-Check any relevant advertising stickies.
-Go to the correct forum (usually First Links). Find the correct advert to post based on whether it's proboards, IPB or what have you. For Proboards you will have to press the 'bbcode' button, then preview. Make sure there are no broken tags (if there are, it won't count). Press submit.

I'm starting a C&C thread. But there's a twist. I'm very bad at complimenting people, and I always end up not replying to C&C because I feel I have to be nice. So here I will tell you just what's bad about your post, and what I think could be improved if applicable. That's it. Don't expect a prompt response or a detailed analysis, but I will critique ANYTHING be it a storyline or just a post, as long as it's from the Omniverse - I read everything on the site anyway. Any takers?

There's a big ruckus going on in the Kingdom right now for those who don't know. Big dragon's been attacking villages all over the Kingdom. Apparently it's called a Rathalos, they're from some world filled with the things. I'd hate to live there, seeing as how much trouble just the one is giving the Kingdom.

Some folks are saying that it's nested up in the misty peaks to the northeast, just east of the Tangled Green's gate. Personally I'd bet that it's coming from some pocket verse. If anyone's up for a hunt, let me know. Hell if I'm going to solo it. Noobs welcome.

Considering my thread is somewhat long and filled with flowery details and I want to make sure that anyone can join easily, I'll give a quick little summary:

Arius, pretty new to Coruscant, but starting to get a feel for the city, goes down to the middle tiers, where he finds a human to drink blood from. After having his little snack, he looks around for anything interesting, but finds not many primaries around. He then decides to head back up and go to the "Outlander club", where he sits at a bar counter, hoping to have more luck at finding anything.

Now who wants to join this splendid little sandbox thread of characters meeting each other? I sure do. If I could be any more obvious about that, I'd wave a banner across all of the Omniverse.
