See Our Ad? Real nice and shiny, isn't it? So shiny I'm going to PAY YOU HARD OM to put it all over the internet. Whoever posts our ad on the most sites by the end of February will get 500 OM. Second-most ads posted gets 250 OM. And everyone who participates gets at least 50 OM. And possibly other rewards if I feel people deserve it.
-No button exchanges. While we have a button, we have limited space for buttons, so please don't do button exchanges. They won't count towards the competition. Feel free to give me the links to any topsite or directories you find, though, and I'll handle the affiliation myself. Ta!
Don't post on boards that are on our advertising forum, even if we haven't linked back yet. Otherwise we're gonna get two people posting at once and multiple ads showing up. I'll do those.
HOW TO ADVERTISE!
-Find a guest-friendly roleplaying forum or RPG directory where you're allowed to post our advert - SFW sites only. CTRL+F 'advert' or scroll around to find their advertising forum. Search from the 28th of January for any topics entitled 'The Omniverse'. If there's none, you're good.
-Check any relevant advertising stickies.
-Go to the correct forum (usually First Links). Find the correct advert to post based on whether it's proboards, IPB or what have you. For Proboards you will have to press the 'bbcode' button, then preview. Make sure there are no broken tags (if there are, it won't count). Press submit.
-Take that link, post it in a reply here (or edit your previous reply with it).
-Rinse, repeat, profit.
Ads with broken tags, on dead boards (haven't had in IC post for over three months) or anything else that doesn't follow the above rules won't count.
Good places to start are RPG directories and other sites with a lot of links. There are thousands of RPGs out there, so it shouldn't be too difficult. My thanks to everyone for contributing!
