  Buu's Moves
Posted by: Samus Aran - 01-30-2015, 02:50 PM - Forum: The Creative Corner - Replies (2)

I said I'd show these to Guu since a bunch of these might match her tone and weirdness. I also like showing off my creations.

Mind Trip

When Buu absorbs an individual, he sends them to his ‘stomach dimension’; a pocket world in which all of Buu’s organs are stored, and where his energy stems from. In order to integrate them into his system and obtain their power, however, the subject must be far weaker than Buu, or, if a strong fighter, weakened/unconscious. Absorbing a live, powerful individual can be useful, but risky. In this case, the fighter would be able to run around inside Buu’s stomach dimension.

Through much practice, Buu has learned a way to counteract this weakness and use his stomach dimension as a viable weapon. By forfeiting consciousness of his outside body, Buu can reform as a Super Buu inside his stomach dimension. A live absorbed victim will be released if he can beat this ‘inner Buu’, or if they can blast through Buu’s skin to open a portal to the outside world (this would be difficult, and would require either a lot of time to blast a way through, or a fighter substantially stronger than Buu). Alternatively, if someone on the outside blasts a hole in the unconscious Buu, the absorbed victims will be able to escape.

(If Buu learns Body Split in the future, he will be able to move around inside his body whilst retaining control of the outside, but he will be subject to the Body Split power level adjustments. Ie, each Buu will be weaker)

Cosmic Sneeze

If you think a puttalin golem’s regular skin is gooey, you should see their phlegm. Due to the size of his innards, when Buu sneezes it resembles a shotgun blast of slime. Like regular snot, the stringy substance dries quickly – but unlike the inferior stuff of humans, it actually holds pretty well. Anything touched by his nasal mucus will find itself infuriatingly unable to move for a good minute, or until external intervention breaks the shell of goo. Obviously the stronger the opponent the faster they break out, but Buu’s phlegm naturally grows more powerful as he does. Though Supes can consciously perform this move, it requires him to close his eyes, which can be dangerous in a heated battle.

Rubber Tentacles

Super Buu’s body is made of a very malleable, stretchy substance called ‘puttalin’. He has learnt to deform his body so that he can sprout tentacles that extend outwards, acting as extra arms for the rubbery warrior. Buu can create these tentacles as long as he wants, but the larger the mass, the more energy is expended and the higher the concentration required to use them. By making suction cups on the bottom of the tentacles, Supes can also stick to walls and surfaces.

Buu is still hilariously blind to the connotations of this attack.

Along Came a Spider (Rubber Tentacles and Liquorice Whip)

Whoever said dual-wielding was the coolest thing ever was probably one of those stupid races that only have two arms. By combining the womanesque multitasking abilities of Rubber Tentacles and the manesque sticky liquid abilities of Liquorice Whip, Buu can become a child that no mother would ever turn down: a pink monster with a shitload of tentacle arms that fire black, adhesive ki. Well, maybe a very forgiving mother.

Mouth Beam
Being charged inside the stomach gives an edge of stealth to this otherwise ordinary beam attack. Normally, the beam is simply pink, but when Buu is angry or the ki is imbued with greater than normal energy, it can be red.

Flying Saucers
Inspired by one of his favourite sweets, this is Buu's personal version of the Kienzan Disk. He can create one or more razor-sharp disks of energy with a focused edge that cut through flesh and steel. They can be simply thrown, or Buu can control them as an extension of his hive-mind. However, the more disks in flight, the more concentration is required.

Puttalin Bomb
The living substance Buu is made up of – puttalin – is similar to human skin tissue in many ways. It can channel ki energy and holds great latent power. Utilising this power, Super Buu can force parts of his body to self-destruct, destroying them down to the last cell in exchange for powerful explosions. These bombs could be anything from Buu’s hand to his own head. In extreme cases, Buu can make his whole body a Puttalin Bomb, for mind-blowing destruction.

Death Gumball
Buu's 'ultimate', typically used in his days as the Majin Corp General to destroy planets. He had all but forgotten this favourite technique until a flashback in the pendulum room reminded him of its power. Massive reserves of energy are required to pull off this attack, but the results are spectacular. The potentially gigantic ball of ki is as beautiful as it is deadly – within it swirl all the colours of the rainbow like an oil slick. Nowadays Buu only uses this in desperate situations to overcome the most powerful of opponents.

Bubblegum Shield
The Bubblegum Shield is a reflective barrier that is made to block/deflect ki attacks, much like the standard ‘Energy Shield’. It was taught to Super Buu by Lord Vine in order to try and compensate for his complete lack of defence, and looks like a translucent pink bubble. Though it deflects most small ki attacks, it also drains Buu’s energy whilst in use, making it impractical to hold for long. It can reduce the damage taken from larger concentrations of ki (best moves) to an extent, though it is far less effective if Buu is tired, or if the attack is a very powerful one. It has a twist – if an opponent tries to pop the shield at melee range, the bubble will ‘burst’, and cover the opponent in sticky pink goo (this is due to the shield’s partial puttalin composition). This goo does no damage by itself, but can slow an opponent down for a few minutes (or until it is cleaned off).

Sonic Scream
A by-product of the vastness of his stomach and uncontrollable anger, Buu has mastered the skill of voice amplification. By screaming at the top of his voice, the majin warrior can bombard the senses those nearby, sending them into a temporary state of deafness and disorientation, thus leaving them open to attack. The effect is dependent on how close the victim – or victims – are to Buu. The further away, the more diminished the effect. Though the Sonic Scream has no discernable ‘shape’ like normal ki blasts, it is visible by a rippling of the air. Continued use of this attack will leave the rubbery monster hoarse.

When used at a lower volume, this can actually let Buu address crowds or sing to audiences.

Lightning Fist
Buu begins this attack by charging energy into his upheld fist, from which visible electricity begins to emanate. When he deems the attack ready, he launches his fist forward, and his whole body is propelled in a straight line at lightning speed. The move is excellent for getting into melee range quickly, and packs one hell of a punch. Whilst the speed of the attack is a huge strength, it is also a downside – if Buu’s aim is off by an inch, he will carry on going, until he can either slow himself down or hit something.

Thunder Stomp
Drawing on his ability to control electricity, Buu slams his boot into the ground, sending an instant shockwave out through the surrounding area, with himself at the epicentre. The attack is fairly easy to perform, and surprisingly effective – anyone standing in range will almost certainly be knocked over. The nearer the opponent(s) is/are to Buu, the stronger the move will be.

Combo Moves

Death Gumbeam (Death Gumball and Mouth Beam)
An obvious and simple combination of two trademark attacks. Buu performs this attack by first charging a Death Gumball, and then lowering it down to his mouth. He then fires it, ‘Big Bang style’, using a Mouth Beam as a propellant. This speeds it up, and can also help overcome stronger opponents who attempt to push back the Death Gumball.

Bubble of Death (Bubblegum Shield and Death Gumball)
This begins as a normal Bubblegum Shield, but soon expands into a rapidly-growing sphere of destructive force. This is, in essence, a Death Gumball with Buu at the gooey centre, protected from his own energies with a shield. The perfect attack for when you’re surrounded and want to just unleash Armageddon.

Puttalin Grenade (Puttalin Bomb and Metal Binding)
Buu has discovered a way to improve the already highly potent Puttalin Bomb using Metal Binding. After ripping off a piece of himself, he coats it in a layer of metal. This way, when the bomb explodes, it also sends out harmful pieces of shrapnel. Though this combo is much less versatile than the original Puttalin Bomb (it’s more obviously an attack, and cannot be ‘stuck’ to an opponent as easily), it’s far more dangerous.

Samus didn’t remember arriving through the gate.

She does remember the flame and shrapnel, hurting all over, and looking back through the gate to see the wreckage of her crashed ship.

“Adam!” she screamed, running towards the wreckage on the other side of the gate. Stepping through, she plunged her hands into the flaming wreckage, pulling despite the sharp pains in her chest and the searing heat. A WARNING! immediately flashed up on her visor but she paid no heed. She grabbed at the shattered console and wrenched it towards herself. Nothing left to interface with but a small disc port. Fumbling with it, half-breaking the device to get at its contents.

A tiny card.

She slotted it into her arm cannon.

“Samus, what the hell are you doing!?” came Adam’s voice.

“SHUT UP!” she screamed, suddenly wincing. It hurt to shout. It hurt a lot. But she was angry.

She felt a hand on the shoulder of her power suit and struggled against it instinctively before realising it was Vitruvius. He backed off, hands straight up. “We have to go,” he said.

Samus scanned the area for any sign of Harry. There was none. She opened her comms link: “Harry? Harry, are you listening? We’re heading for the docks.” She tapped at her helmet. No guarantee it was even working.

Adam spoke. “Our ally is correct, Samus. We have to go.”

Silent complicity. No time for summoning. She began limping. Vitruvius didn’t look in much better shape. She didn’t bother asking how he was. But they leaned on each other, forming a kind of three legged, exposed-wired technical monstrosity. The bystanders who poked their heads out of windows could only gawk.

And ahead of them, storm troopers lined up in the streets.

“I’m going to try and get us there faster,” said Samus. “Hold on. I’ll need both arms for this.” She winced as the robot climbed onto her back.

She threw her left hand upwards, unleashing a grapple beam towards the face of a building far away from them. As she did so, storm troopers immediately began firing; she responded by bringing up a barrier with her gun arm. She ran, retracting the beam as she did so until it lifted her feet off the ground, sailing her above the crowds and towards the building. At the last second she brought her gun hand upwards and the barrier with it, just to mitigate their impact somewhat as they collided with the building. It was unfortunate that in this universe there seemed to be so few convenient locations in which to grapple unimpeded.

She’d almost forgotten her power of flight; she remembered just in time to kick off the wall and away from the eager hail of bullets that traced her path. She fired off another grapple beam and yanked them between another two buildings and out of the immediate line of fire. With both hands free she began to pull herself, airborne, through the skies with grapple beams and towards the docks. Warning signs still flashed up on her visor.

“There,” said Adam. “Take that blue boat. It’s small, fast. I can hack the systems.”

Samus had no objections. Hitting the ground running, she began to smell the sea; it reinvigorated her senses, providing a flood of energy from some unseen place and spurring on her numb legs. Vitruvius was quick in pursuit, though not quite as quick. As she jumped and landed feet-first on the boat she was able to turn and latch him with the grapple beam to yank the robot towards her. Maybe not the smartest choice, as the impact threw them both to the ship’s deck.

“Hurry, Samus,” reminded Adam.

Samus had no time or energy to be annoyed, pushing the robot off her. To her surprise, getting to her feet required a huge amount of effort. It was as though landing had robbed her of the last of her energy. Her legs shook as she pressed against the ground.

“Samus, are you okay?” enquired the android as he leaned over her. His digital face showed what could have been mistaken for genuine concern.

“Yeah I’m…” Suddenly her suit vanished. She lay on the floor and all her pain hit her once.

The datacard containing Adam fell to the sheet metal flooring and she reached for it. Vitruvius picked it up first.

“I’ve got this,” he said. “Don’t move!”

Samus couldn’t move. She lay awake for only one more second before consciousness gave way to the sound of waves.

"Well, this isn't at all what I was expecting when I got up this morning." Gin muttered as he looked around the white void that was the nexus, taking in the view. "But then again, I doubt many people expect to be teleported to a place like this by an omnipotent silhouette." He leans back against the fountain he materialized next to.

Suddenly, something in the distance catches Gin's eye. He squints, trying to make out what the object is. What could it be? A way out of this place perhaps? Gin stood up, feeling pumped. "Right, let's get this adventure started!" Gin breaks into a run, excited to see what experiences this new world would bring.

Murderous Intent: A Tale of Twin Tyrants
By Linda Hailor
The battle between Ganon and Enel had been fought, and Enel came out victorious. What punishments does he have planned for the Garudo King?

AN: I saw the Ganon and Enel fight! I sure did! It was totally awesome! No one believes me, but I totally did! You won’t believe what happened after the fight! It was so amazing, I wrote about it!
AN: Crap! I didn’t see the Fanfiction.net Policy on smut until the last second. I’ll have to censor part of this. Sorry! @.@

Ganon knelt down before Enel, defeated. The man of lightning looked down at Ganon with his narrow eyes and grinned.
“Do it!” Ganon said. “KILL ME!”
But Enel only raised an eyebrow.
“Oh? Why would I do that?” he said, coyly. “You’d learn nothing that way.”
He walked up close to him. He reached down and pulled out his [CENSORED]. It was 12 feet long. With one swoop, he whipped Ganon across the face with it. Ganon felt so much [CENSORED] from that one act, that he felt himself getting [CENSORED].
“Now,” Enel spoke, his [CENSORED] rising up to Ganon’s face. “[CENSORED] my [CENSORED]”
Reluctantly, and still feeling [CENSORED] from before, he bent down and passionately [CENSORED] his [CENSORED]. Enel grinned with glee at this act. Ganon gagged a little as he felt [CENSORED] go down his throat.
“Very good, this pleases me.” Enel said, confidently.
Ganon shot him a look of pure rage.
“Hey now, I’m a fair ruler. Let me return the favor.”
He reached down and laid Ganon gently on his back. He knelt down and massaged Ganon’s [CENSORED]. The [CENSORED] slowly peeled away as his caress was like that of a [CENSORED] [CENSORED] [CENSORED]. Ganon let out a big breath of air as he felt his tension melting away. Then with one sudden movement, Enel shot lightning directly into his [CENSORED]. His [CENSORED] explodes, spraying [CENSORED] everywhere.
With one big breath, Ganon said:
“You’re a good [CENSORED] …” before going into a deep deep sleep.
Enel kissed him on the forehead, and wondered off.
“Good bye, King of the Garudos.” He whispered.

Character name: Gin Yatreg

Character source: Original

Character history: While originally born on Earth, for most of Gin's life he has lived on the space colony KINGDOM-R53. A fun and adventure loving boy, Gin dreamt of leaving his station to explore the galaxy when he was old enough. However, on August 17th 2177, an incident aboard KINGDOM-R53's science wing stopped his dreams from becoming a reality. This incident caused the residents of the colony to mutate in various ways. Some retained their original forms (Nōmas) and gained powers such as flight and speed. While others became horrible bug-like monstrosities (Monsus), losing their minds in the process. War broke out between the Monsus and the Nōmas, with both factions occupying different sections of the ship. Unfortunately for Gin and the rest of the Nōmas, the Monsus had gained control of the hanger area trapping them on the colony.

2 Years later in 2179, the Nōmas have managed to seal off their parts of the colony from the hordes of Monsus. Unsure of how long their blockades will hold, the Nōmas begin sending six-man squads into the Monsus infested parts of the station to reclaim their home. Not being one to just sit on the sidelines, Gin joins the 20th Reclamation Squad. During his fifth mission, he gets separated from his squad and falls into a Monsus nest. Just as a Monsus Guard is about to kill him, he finds himself whisked away to another place. The Omniverse.

Physical Description: Gin is 5'10 in height and has a unique combination of red hair and yellow eyes. Gin is 17 years old, however due to his small height he has sometimes been mistaken to be younger than he actually is.

Stats:
ATK: 2
DEF: 3

TEC: 2

Starting Proficiencies:

Physical Strength - 1000 OM

Area Shield - 400 OM

[Total OM: 2400]

Starting Powers:

Burst Movement - 800 OM

Super Jump (Basic) - 300 OM

Life Detect - 800 OM

[Total OM: 1900]

Starting Moves:

Shield Fist (Requires Physical Strength) - 300 OM

Enshrouds fists in an Ellipsoidal green shield. Lessens the force against the users fists, allowing them to throw more powerful punches without harming themselves in the process (similar to a boxing glove, only much harder on the receiver). User expends energy while using this move, prolonged use will lead to the user over-exerting themselves. The move is activated at the behest of the user, meaning it can be turned on and off at will.

Bubble Shield (Requires Area Shield) - 300 OM

Creates a green dome-shaped shield 4 feet in diameter around the user, protecting them from most physical and energy based attacks. However, magical attacks can still penetrate the shield. The shield will only last for 1 attack, during which the user is immobile. After it dissipates, the user may not use it again until 1 turn has passed.

(The shield does NOT extend underground.)

[Total OM: 600]

[Total OM Overall: 4900]

I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

Rand wished he had brought a wool coat. He had known from the ice on the door in The Nexus that what was beyond would be cold, but this was just madness. He had no idea what he would do once night fell and the temperature inevitably dropped even lower. He rubbed his heron-marked palms together for warmth for what seemed like the thousandth time. Wait! Heron-markings and warmth gave him an idea.

Rand internally scolded himself for not realizing that he could make his flaming sword appear. He wrapped himself in the Void and drank in saidin's sickeningly warm power and the flaming sword burst into being. He held the sword closer to himself than he normally would, allowing his body to absorb the heat it gave off. Then, crack, the ice underneath him melted and he fell.

  It's Only a Bad Dream
Posted by: Sarah_Kerrigan - 01-24-2015, 02:35 PM - Forum: The Astral Realm - No Replies

Quote:Sarah is dreaming while sleeping in her apartment.

Where am I? The thought brought focus into Sarah’s mind. At first she hadn’t even noticed anything abnormal. She had been in a bed – that she remembered – which was warm and cozy, and had also been content to sleep into the late afternoon (or as late as she could manage with the empire breathing down her neck) without as much as a stir to relieve herself. Now however, nothing seemed right. As though she looked at the world before her through some dirtied lenses – real enough, merely distorted in the most unusual ways. She squinted, straining her eyes to the point of tears, but nothing became any sharper. Instead, things were just there (where they were supposed to be) acting as they would, but still off in some manner or another.

For example, her mattress floated, leaning up against an invisible barrier that kept it in place. The panel which controlled the illumination in her room laid bare on a dresser, rather than propped and positioned on a wall – even its controls were inverted or blurred. Her windows opened out not into Coruscant, but into blankness no matter how she adjusted the opacity levels. After many attempts at fooling with the environmental layout of her room, she found herself sitting up again on the bed. Blinking, she tried to recall when she had sat down again; she couldn’t. Running a bare hand along the blanket, she tried to feel, well anything really. She could tell that she grasped at something, but no feeling came through. The cloth didn’t clutch at the fabrics of her clothes, and it neither felt cool nor warm.

What’s going on here? the Teenager wondered while practically rubbing her eyes out with her palms. She looked in a mirror and tilted her head. When did I . . . I don’t remember walking here. Something’s wrong am I . . . Sarah no longer saw herself in the mirror, the lights had gone out. A shiver ran down her spine and she wanted to cry out – to scream ever so badly. Then as she fell, her stomach lurched up into her chest. She felt like vomiting, but somehow she hadn’t really ‘fallen’ at all. The sensation dispersed, and beneath the covers she hid; her hair a matted mess of sweat and grime, and salt clung to her bare skin. Exposed. Naked. There were tremors at the walls. Torrents of noise were tearing at the boundaries of her mind. Her body shook all over. It burned and froze, thereafter thawed out again. She thrashed and tossed the covers off of herself, and they flopped to the ground.

Dreaming, Sarah’s thoughts came back around. I’m dreaming. This can’t be real. The gurgles, the slops, the growls and the howls echoed. They weren’t just contained within her mind. The walls quaked. The sheer number of them rising up in some seemingly vast distance drew closer and closer. She hid beneath her blanket. A passing thought: did I pick this up? In truth, she didn’t care, because she clung to it and wrapped herself up tight. Despite how hot she became after, she would not unbind herself.

Within the cries, the howls and growls, a beat droned on and ever on. A pulse actually, thudding with a rhythm that just wouldn’t cease. She felt her chest. Somehow the ululation – it was her heart. It beat on and on and encompassed everything that made of this world around her. They (whatever they were) with their howls, moans, groans and gurgles, were drawn to it. They were shadows running along the walls and monsters peeking in with bright eyes from the windows – from the windows that somehow couldn’t be seen through. Yet they managed. They managed to see and glare just fine. The glimmers of red and piercing yellow were horrible ever so horrible.

Sarah didn’t dare peek out from the covers. She reached back absently grasping for a pillow and propped it up against her ears. I don’t want to hear. I don’t want to see them. Please . . . I don’t want to know what they are. Now they were scuttling, creeping, crawling and sprinting across the floor. Paws and claws scratching upon wood, and tile, metal and steel while the windows slowly creaked open. No they’ll come in! Of course now there was no reprieve at all. Her covers were taken; the walls were gone. The smell of blood lingered in the air, and light streamed across it. Splotches of gory mess and puss slopped and slushed, caking upon the ceiling and floor; it seemed alive – all along the ground a trail of life… alive things breathing, growing in contamination.

She shut her eyes tight had pillows to her ears, but could still see and hear. There were beasts with burdens and some without; beasts with names and no names, horrifyingly there, but not possibly real. Their calling wails were all that remained. Their broods with their swarms spanned out as far as she could see. With their sharp many teeth, they had bitten holes into her room. They ate up reality itself leaving nothing in their wake (time did naught stop them) – not even the dark: world-eaters they had somehow adapted to become. Here, they had no color, no consistent shape nor form. To the Teenager, they looked like naught but shadows rapidly fading as light shimmered from far away. But, they ran ever so fast, surrounding her. Roars rose up, terrible in number and darkened tentacles, with tips like spears and tails like maces with spikes swung all about – crushing and stabbing at everything. A species evolved to make every appendage deadly.

Sending out a psionic vibration, she emitted a plea ever outward. She leaped into their mind, and felt only rage, only desire, and only power. They were evolution pure in essence, driven by nothing else – such a mindless quest yet precise action. When she opened and looked once more, they were there, but unmoving they only observed her as she did them. ”What do you want from me?” She asked without speaking and without parting her gaze. If she had an expected an answer, she would have been disappointed, for only silence was returned. ”I see into you. You devour anything – everything. Mutate and change – taking pieces of what you kill. Why, is killing not enough?”

They answered: ”Tell us. You destroy. You are pure – powerful. A sleeper that has yet to awaken.” Sarah didn’t understand, but at the moment, she did not want to. She wanted this to end. Her bed flipped and smothered her and everything became loud once more. Howls, growls, moans and roars, then the thrashing of teeth. Something bit her; something pierced, stabbed and bashed her. She was sure of that . . . their feast had begun. They were on her piling up and up – pinning her down while slashing with their claws and brandishing their teeth about. They dug into her flesh and devoured, but no harrowing cries parted from her lips. Whispers – harsh guttural in her head. ”You must be reborn. Rebirth.” The words became a chant. There were many voices, but one in their unison became the dominate force.

The rocks cradled a massive descent down a Cliffside. There were greys, purples, and greens swirled into an all-encompassing fog. Now standing, Kerrigan rapidly swept her hands along her body. She wore the hazard suit with no energy to power it. I can breathe? Why didn’t they kill me? That couldn’t be possible, but there were no wounds upon her flesh, and air was plentiful in her lungs. She inhaled deeply and stared out across the overcast skyline. Rumbles in the distance told of an oncoming storm – rolling clouds of darkness with terrors unknown and unimaginable. A trickle of a memory flowed into her. But, she didn’t really remember at all, it felt like a hallucination. Kneeling she peered unto the landscape far, far below and as suddenly as it appeared, the smog parted. She wished it hadn’t; the ground was alive.

A voice boomed again, boring into her very soul. Omni had done so once, but he had been far less, gentle – yes that was the word for it. He hadn’t cared. It became deep and firm, but no longer painfully loud. ”Nothing can stop us. The fabric of realities will only hold against our onslaught for a time. The Swarm is eternal – a fixed point in all of creation. Its will is eternal. You will serve once more. All will serve its purpose." Like sloths, they slithered up the embankment, and like serpents they hissed and barred their poisons. Endlessly they streamed from hatchling to full-grown monsters: the Zerg Swarm – these numbers only a fraction of a brood. In spite of it all, Sarah turned and fled. They followed easily keeping pace, for there was no outmaneuvering the Swarm.

”I don’t even know what you are – why would I serve you?!” She pushed back at them channeling her strength into the very words that wormed their way through psionic pathways. Still she ran on and on, over top the scaled, grey ground. It cracked at her feet, crumbling but reforming as swiftly. She sprinted, until her breaths became haggard and nigh inconsolable. Instinctively she attempted cloak, but that device had long since stopped working; the Omniverse had seen to that, the destruction of whatever tech she had once held in such high esteem. Panting, she slumped leaning up against the only cover that she could find: a lonely stepped rock formation. Heck, I don’t even know where I am.

”Kerrigan, my child – you know what I am – what we are. Step forward. See how it is you can hear.” Without a thought, the stranded Ghost obeyed. She didn’t know why, it was like she had been programmed to follow this entity. On her feet she walked at first heading in direction of that pulse (the beating of her own heart would lead to her demise). Harsher and faster it became with each footfall, until it felt as though her chest would explode from the pressure. Then – in that moment – she saw before her a massive overgrown structure. One that lived and grew even as she blinked and crept closer. A parasite that sapped the energy from the planet itself: the worm amplified psionic power and it resonated dominance.

”A Cerebrate – the extension of my will. Go on child, play the Assassin as you did in a previous life once more. But know this, the Swarm is coming. The Void beckons, and the Zerg will answer.” The fabrics of reality shifted before her, swallowing themselves up into a tiny rift – a hole in space and time. The command seemed absolute. It didn’t matter that the Teenager came from a time before it all. It drew everything into its path and when that faded, Sarah did too, leaving only silence in a realm created from thought, and memories that never occurred in the first place; a paradox that allowed reality to fold over on itself.

In those moments she had but the single glimpse of an eye encased by flesh and bound by it – almost strung up upon it. A mass of parasitic worms, tentacles and tendrils, and sheer size serving as a physical conduit for a soul that could be contained by none, save for a few. An embodiment of the Will of an entire species, capable of warping reality in its own right. The last thoughts Sarah had before awakening were those drawn out by fear: fear of the unknown that waited in the darkness. They aren’t here. They can’t be here; this is the Omniverse. I’m not that thing’s child. They weren’t shadows, nor were they memories however, they were real. This is just a dream. I need to get up . . . I need to wake . . .
