| Guu plays Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky |

Hey! So I'm doing a written let's play of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky! I've never played a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game before so this will be blind! No nuzlocke this time! xD
Alright, so what I know going in:
*You walk around dungeons as Pokemon.
*This game is darker than you'd expect.
Yeah, that's pretty much it. So yeah, let's get started!
So the game starts with a personality test…. yeah I've played Animal Crossing, I know where this is going.
So I did a little bit of spoiler free research and rigged it so I would get a certain Pokemon…
Skitty! Because she looks like Guu! …sort of.
So from what I can grasp, I'm a human who fell off a boat during a storm. Turns out Davy Jones had a sense of humor an transformed me into a Pokemon. He must have a love for Pink. (Although, who doesn't? <3)
We meet Sarah the vulpix who seems to have a few hurdles to leap over in her character arc. I find out later that this is the hideout of Wigglytuff, who, judging by his house, has no sense of subtly. At least it's not Tail's lab from Sonic Battle.
She has an artifact that give her comfort. I'm sure this is only a red herring.
A Koffing and a Zubat plot dastardly deeds in private, because purple things are evil.
![[Image: vAiAhI.png]](http://imageshack.com/a/img673/5171/vAiAhI.png)
Sarah was waxing philosophical as she watches the sunset (typical teen stuff,) when she finds Guu on the beach.
Before I could get her number though, the evil purple creature from before mugs us of her Macguffin! No one steals from Sarah! D:<
![[Image: pGnNh8.png]](http://imageshack.com/a/img540/7079/pGnNh8.png)
So it's kind of a dungeon crawler deal. Taking me a while to get used to the controls. xD I just ran around, bashing things with my head.
![[Image: ldo519.png]](http://imageshack.com/a/img537/6932/ldo519.png)
Here's my move set! Like I said, bashing my head in.
After climbing a few floors, I make it to the top and face off against the evil purples!
![[Image: g6FtGJ.png]](http://imageshack.com/a/img537/1120/g6FtGJ.png)
Ha! That's what you get!
![[Image: VB5byx.png]](http://imageshack.com/a/img538/6011/VB5byx.png)
So Sarah outright recruits me to do some dungeoneering. I'm not one to refuse a request from Sarah, so of course I accept!
(I love the little expressions my character makes.)
Anyways, she shows me her relic up close. It has a very interesting symbol on it which I'm sure means absolutely nothing.
And with that, I hit a save point! Well, I'm intrigued! See ya next time as we get adventuring training!

Just posting up this brief little post to see if anyone would be interested in me maybe doing a weekly post of a Let's Play of the Rouge-like/Lovecraft Rpg Darkest Dungeon. Here I basically outline the intro to the game and the start of the first week/quest. Names of the heroes will be recycled from characters on the rp and stuff like that. As it is a rougelike I'll probably go through people rather fast. Tons of deaths and people going crazy. Fun times. Anyways below is the intro video explaining the plot of the game and a brief written entry with linked screenshots.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlRBzoKN4NY
After successfully navigating through the Hamlet surrounding the Marcellus Estate, Atelos the Noble and Shang the Quick survived an onslaught of brigands retrieved treasure and safely protected the Stage Coach Carrying the birthrate to the Manor: Sarah Elizabeth Marcellus.
Arrival of Atelos the Noble and Shang the Quick
Once there, they sent word for the Stage Coach to move swiftly back to the nearest settlement to recruit more adventurers in order to push back the Eldritch horrors that have so swept the Manor. When it returned, Guu the Fair a sister of Battle stepped from it, along with Dahling the Mute - a silent doctor of sorts.
Recruting Guu the Fair and Dahling the Mute
Together the four embarked journeying outside the Township and headed for the ruins of what was left of Sarah’s home. However first they must be supplied to combat the evils that lay before them. So, they took with them packs of food - enough for the all - holy water and anti-venom, bandages and a shovel and several keys to pick locks. And lastly, plenty of torches to light the way and stave off the madness within . . .
Gathering Provisions
If there is no interest in me continuing this let me know so I don't waste my time xD. I'll still be playing the game. Just thought it'd be fun to share as I'm using names of people on here.

Sivo knelt underneath the airlock, fervently praying to the machine god, alternating between requests for absolution and a quick death. The hull screamed, the unnatural powers of the warp imbuing it with an existence of its own, mouths and eyes erupting from where there was once only blessed steel. The mouths gibbered, speaking of what they had witnessed over the ship's centuries of service, each of them talking over the other, a chorus of the damned. Elsewhere, more mortal screams were heard. Some were cut short by a Daemon's claws, others were warped into cries of joy by the vile depravity of the arch-enemy.
Sivo's prayers escalated in volume, a night-futile attempt to drown out the madness rapidly encircling him, corrupting this once-venerable vessel. "Oh great Machine God, we beseech thee to deliver us from danger." The words left his vox-grille, echoing across the deserted hallway. All of the others present had either been slain by the arch-enemy, fled, or had been... changed. The still-warped corpse of a voidsman lay near him, the dark blue uniform shredded to tatters by the spikes that had erupted from his body. Scorch-marks from massed lasfire still marked the body. Were they dissipating? It was worrisome. Sivo returned to his prayers, begging the machine spirit of the airlock to grant him a rapid demise. He had arranged himself so that the weight of the airlock would shatter his skull, preventing him from being used by the arch-enemy. How had it come to this?
Sivo reflected on this: How did The Aquiline succumb to daemonic invasion? The Geller fields were functioning perfectly well, holding back the madness and death of the Warp. Until... He remembered now. Mutants. Every ship had them, lurking in the underdecks. They were inevitable. They had swarmed from the maintenance passageways, daubed in unholy symbols, baying for blood, tentacles and claws seeking throats and arteries. The Geller field generator was left largely unguarded: Who would be mad enough to consign the entire ship, including themselves, to eternal torment?
Mutants.
They had thrown themselves upon it, destroying the blessed circuitry, smashing the sacred engine, ripping apart the hallowed gears. As the Skittari moved on them, it was already done. The bubble of reality shearing its way through the Warp popped, leaving the ship to the mercy of unreality. Daemons stalked the halls, either in their own forms, or infesting a human host. Either was terrifying.
He could hear them approaching. Machine spirit, I beg you: End your loyal supplicant's suffering. He heard a grinding, as the machine spirit made its approval known. The heavy steel slab descended, as Sivo deactivated his optics, awaiting absolution.
The steel beneath his legs disappeared, replaced with... Nothing. He floated in a void, with no sensation, no input, no data.
Quote:My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.
A being floated into existence before Sivo, a blank slate, a creature without scars, augments, marks, or a face. It was a vile mockery of the pure human form. In its hand a multicolored sphere formed, the individual pigments warping and mutating, an effect that may have been beautiful to one not so wary of the temptations of the archenemy. Quote:This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.
The sphere floated forward, before falling to pieces, fragments of glittering light melding with Sivo's form as he attempted to scream, only to find himself unable to. Quote:That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.
Sivo was plunged into darkness once more, cast away into another strange realm.
Sivo's optics awakened again, sensing more than that void. He was underwater. His arms reached out, the steel-swathed limbs finding the lip of the pool. His arms groaned as he pulled himself out of the pit. His frame impacted on the blank white surface of the ground, his robes waterlogged and dripping, his vox-grille shorting out, creating noises akin to gasps for breath. Water flowed from the lascarbine at his hip, but he was too exhausted to make the necessary supplications to the machine spirit to allow it to function. Inter-Dimensional travel is an exhaustive experience to one so unprepared. Sivo's mind retreated, attempting to process the information that his entire existence has changed. The red-swaddled figure knelt, dripping at the foot of the fountain of Inifinity, oblivious to the porcelain-armoured figures cautiously approaching him, pointing their blasters at his chest.

Character name: Sivo Sigma-3177
Character source: Warhammer 40,000/Original
Character history: Born to a family of menials on the Forge World of Kazzark 5, a world of cliffs and canyons, covered in foundries. Perhaps it had been beautiful, once, before the Adeptus Mechanicus, the august and venerable machine cult that oversees all industry in the galaxy-spanning Imperium, saw its potential as a manufacturing base. He was raised in the shadows of the sacred factories and forges, constantly surrounded by the endless grinding, whirring, clicking, clacking, crunching, and the occasional scream as a careless worker was caught in the machinery. Still, life went on as he frolicked in the few non-toxic pools of run-off with the other children. As he aged, he displayed the cunning mind and mental acuity sought after by the Adeptus Mechanicus, and was quickly brought into their ranks as an acolyte. For 16 years of his life, he tended to the blessed machines within the planet-wide industrial complex, appeasing the machine spirits with sacred oils, prayer, incense, and every so often, technical knowledge. The machines under his care displayed a .5% increase in efficiency, which quickly advanced him to the rank of Enginseer, the brave Mechanicus Emissaries that fight alongside the innumerable armies of the Imperial Guard, and tend to their sacred machines. 5 years of training later, Sivo set forth to join up with the Cadian regiments assigned to hold back the forces of Chaos swarming out from the Eye of terror. As the noble vessel Aquilline was midway through its journey, the Geller field, the thin skein of force that protects the vessel and its inhabitants from the infinite dangers of the Warp as they travel through it, shut down. As Daemons swarmed over the ship, hunting the thousands of souls aboard, Sivo prayed to the Omnissiah to end his existence before his very spirit was consumed by the Daemons. Fate, as always, is cruel, and he was snatched by Omni and delivered to the Omniverse.
Physical Description: (originals only)
Standing 1.9 meters tall, Sivo is heavily augmented, in accordance with the beliefs of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Very little of his flawed original body remains, replaced with the pure steel of the machine. He wields a standard Lascarbine, a short-stocked laser weapon that lends itself to being used one-handed. His blessed frame is further armed with Ferric Lures and Luminen Capacitors, granting him the ability to fire bursts of electricity, and magnetically influence the strikes of those who attack him.
Stats:
ATK: 3
DEF: 5
SPD: 0
TEC: 2
Starting Proficiencies:
Ranged(1000OM), Area Attack(600OM), Area Shield (400OM)
Starting Powers:
Basic Regeneration (1300OM)
Starting Moves:
Sivo's Luminen capacitors grant him 2 bio-electric points.
Lascarbine (Requires Ranged Weapon Proficiency) -300 OM
A reliable laser-based weapon with an optimal range of 40 meters, the Las-Carbine can fire up to one round every 1.5 seconds. It specializes in consistent, reliable fire, as opposed to massive damage.
Luminen Blast (Requires Area Attack Proficiency) -600OM
A blast of electrical energy stemming from his internal bio-electricity reservoirs. The Luminen Blast has a range of 15 meters, and a blast radius of 1-4 meters (Determined by Sivo at time of attack). It takes 3 seconds to manifest, and uses up one bio-electric point. Uses without bio-electric points drain needed power, bringing him closer to unconsciousness.
Ferric Repulsion (Requires Area Shield Proficiency) -600 OM
A barely-visible sphere 2 meters in diameter surrounds Sivo, magnetically charging incoming projectiles and blades, before rapidly switching to the identical polarity, repelling enemy attacks. The effect is much akin to shooting or slashing through a moving current. It takes 6 seconds to manifest, and consumes 1 bio-electric point. It lasts for up to 30 seconds, which can be extended a further 30 seconds by consuming another bio-electric point. Uses without bio-electric points do not leave enough power to protect Sivo from the magnetic energies, damaging him.
200 OM remaining.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

Ban reasons here
So just to be clear, while we sometimes have to ban people I try not to hold ill will towards that person and I expressed that fact to Inlumia and wish him the best for the future. It's simply that the way he writes isn't conducive to a role-playing site. Inlumia agreed and requested that I post a message on his behalf, which I'm happy to do:
Hello. Inlumia here.
I understand why I’m getting banned, and don’t blame or hate Omni for it.
The basic matter is that I kept crossing the line. I am more a writer then a RPer, and writers like to be able to control all aspects. I started RPing to test character ideas, but I guess the environment is too different for it to be a good idea
I’d been warned plenty of times, so I can’t say I haven’t been warned
I also admit to pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable in minichat a lot. The sexual innuendos I was making would have gotten me banned from most sites online, so I’d say the Admins here have been pretty lenient. Some I probably only got away with because no-one else was perverted enough to understand exactly what I meant.
Maybe I’ll bump into you guys online sometime, so if so, I’ll see you then
Inlumia is banned but is still able to read the forums so I figured I'd leave this topic open in case anyone who didn't have his contact details wanted to contact him for any reason.
