Lubbock felt his body rip though what seemed like the air, his surroundings pure white. He felt as if an invisible force was dragging him through space, grabbing at his arms and legs. Where the hell am I? he wondered. Just five seconds ago, I was hunting Danger Beasts. He remembered the strange, glowing archway that formed from the inhuman creatures' mutilated bodies. What was that, a portal? This is gonna be one hell of a story to tell the others... he felt the invisible grip on his limbs loosen, and he began to fall through the white light. He saw a strange archway rushing up to meet him, seemingly floating in mid-air. Noticing this fact, he began to flail his arms around wildly, attempting to grab the arch, fearing that if he missed he would fall forever. He missed the top of the arch and plummeted, forcing a high pitched scream out of his mouth, only to find his feet land firmly on solid ground. He stood upright, dumbstruck, and waited for his smooth green hair to fall back over his left eye. His lime green trench coat stopped flapping, and his red goggles slid down his head and onto his eyes. What. The hell. Just happened? He slowly and shakily raised a hand to his goggles and slid them back up onto his head. Recovering, he took a good look at the gigantic archway. This looks similar to the one that brought me here. Must be connected somehow... he looked it up and down, noting the mossy and moldy stone bricks, so cracked and broken that they might have shattered at the lightest touch. He then surveyed the ground beneath it. Barely a meter in all directions of dark rock was the ground that the archway was set upon, reminiscent of the earth where the arch first appeared. Jeez, this place is weird... he raised the back of his hand to his forehead. However, he didn't feel the familiar silver disc on the back of his scarlet fingerless glove. Wait, where's Cross Tail? He reached behind him and under his trench coat, grabbing at his belt. No spool of wire was there. Damn! Where'd it go? A sudden voice boomed in his head, interrupting his racing thoughts.
"Are you missing something, Prime?" the voice almost sounded Godly.
"Prime? What's that? And where's Cross Tail?" he asked, irritated with the whole situation.
"You're not the only Prime. Primes are people, humans and creatures, heroes and villains alike, who have been brought from other worlds and dimensions like yourself,"
"All right, fair enough. But what the hell happened to my Cross Tail?" Lubbock continued as he crossed his arms, becoming impatient. A strange, ever-changing mass of all the colors of the rainbow materialized in front of him.
"This is a substance, or currency more like, called Omnillium. This Omnillium in front of you is only a figment of your imagination though. The real thing is all around you. Omnillium can be shaped into any form one wishes, ranging from weapons and abilities to allies and pets," the voice informed him.
"Anything, huh? I guess I could get Cross Tail back with it," he decided.
"Be warned, Omnillium is not completely infinite. You will gain more as time passes, but you still have quite a limited amount, so make sure to use it wisely,"
"Ah, I thought there was a catch," without procrastinating any further, he reached out to the rainbow mass, wishing it to take the form of Cross Tail. He felt a spool of wire attach itself to the back of his belt, the wires extending along his back and across his arms to the newly formed discs on the backs of his gloves. The wires separated into five threads through the discs, and slotted themselves into the guide claws on the tips of his fingers. Feeling the familiar wires upon his body at last, he relaxed his muscles, "Right. I didn't make the wires as long as they should be. I don't wanna waste my Omnillium. Fifty meters should do me for now," he noted, relieved. Feeling like he needed extra weaponry, he also formed two knives on the inside of his trench coat, "Hey, who are you? The creator or keeper of this place or something?"
"No, that would be Omni, who you could call the God of this world. I, on the other hand, am just a voice. I'm not anyone of importance," and as the voice finished its sentence, it began to fade away.
"This is so weird. Let's just hope there are a couple of babes around here!" he called out loud, pumped. Without warning, a rumbling sound filled the white nothingness, knocking Lubbock out of his perverted trance. He looked around and noticed eight small archways rising out of nowhere, each one different from the next. One made of steel, guarded by two men in white armor, one highly worn, one smoking as if on fire, one that looked like it was made from a tree, one made of clean stone, one made of much darker stone and one made of ice. The one that really caught his eye, though, was one shaped like two palm trees, "Hell yes! Beach babes, here I come!" and off he bolted to the Beach-babe Gate. Far behind him, a deep, quiet voice was heard.
"I hope he realizes it's going to take two hours to get there,"

By the time Mireya and Proto Man stumbled out into the wide plain that surrounded Darkshire, the two warriors were ravaged and clearly on the brink of collapse. The woman, her face bruised and bloodied, hobbled on what remained of her shattered glaive. One of her ankles had been dislocated during the fight with the demon blacksmith, and although it had been properly reset and wrapped, it had yet to heal. Their constant march had meant the wounds had yet to stop bleeding completely, and even a few days removed from the old village, she still had blood seeping through the bandages.
To her left, Proto Man seemed to be faring a little bit better, but for the preteen machine, the majority of the damage was in his head. His own wounds had closed on their own accord, and his internal systems had spent the last few days feverishly working to repair themselves. The loss of another Robot Master, however, hung over his head like a stormcloud. How many more of his half-brothers would perish? It seemed like so long ago that Proto Man had set out with the intention of detaining what he thought were renegade androids. Was anything he thought back in Coruscant true anymore?
Unlike their first visit to Darkshire, the gates were already swinging open by the time they came within shouting distance of the men normally stationed above the portcullis. On this occasion, a trio of armored guards rushed to meet them. “Are the two of you all right?” The man in the middle asked, his insignia highlighting the fact that he was an officer.
“I will be, but she needs a doctor or a healer or whatever you have at your disposal,” Proto Man muttered as he gestured to the bloody, broken hybrid. Rather than offer a smart retort, Mireya just coughed and tried to remain conscious. He never had before, but now Proto man was certain he wouldn’t ever underrate the former nomad’s resolve. He was alive because he didn’t experience pain as a mental stimulus. On top of that, his systems were capable of replicating lost structures and mending damage to his exoskeleton. Mireya was alive because she didn’t feel like dying.
There were a lot of things Proto Man was happy to be without when it came to humanity, but he had to admit there were a few traits he wished that Wily could have converted into code.
“The two of you escort her to that cleric staying near the east gate.” When the two men walked over to help her, Mireya didn’t offer any resistance, and a few beats later, it was just Proto Man and the officer standing just outside the gate. “I probably should have verified this beforehand, but you are Blues, correct? You were the prime who spoke with the mayor last month?”
Last month? Where does the time go in this world?
“Yes, that’s me,” Proto Man answered after a brief moment of silence. “If you could, I need to speak with Boone and Dobson.”
“The mayor has an appointment with another prime, but they should be finished talking by the time we get there.”
***
As they walked through the tight hallway that lead to the mayor’s private residence, Proto Man had to squeeze around another prime. Unlike the Atelos and Shang, this man didn't stand out as much. He looked just like any person you'd find on the street, but the look in his eyes and the way he carried himself alluded to something more complex beneath the surface.
At the end of the corridor, the garrison officer opened the door for Proto Man and excused himself.
As before, Mayor Boone's quarters were poorly illuminated, and the man himself was sitting at his desk. He was hunched over and massaging his temples, and it took him a few moments to notice the android standing in his doorway. “Welcome back, Blues, I take it you have news?” The mayor asked the question without removing his hands from the sides of his head and without looking at the boy.
“I know where the source of the Blight is… and I intend to go there and stop it.”
“Then what are you doing here?”
The remark caused the youth to scowl behind his visor. “I need help. I lost a friend just to discover where the Archdemon is, and my other ally is too hurt to make the journey to the Black Gate.”
Mayor Boone seemed to tighten up at the mention of dreaded landmark that doubled as Diablo’s ‘gravestone.’ The man let his hands drop down to his desk and lifted his weary eyes to look over at the dirty android. “How do you know that’s where you need to go?”
“I heard it straight from the mouth of someone working for the Archdemon.”
“I see… I’m afraid I can’t offer anything. The men here are too preoccupied with defending the walls, and we’ve heard stories that Count Dracula has started to recruit more primes as of late. I can’t afford to have the city undefended.”
Proto Man shook his head. “The demon I killed was the head of an armory. An armory, Mayor. If we don’t deal with this situation now, some vampire is going to be the least of your concern. For all we know, we could be dealing with another situation like the one that ruined this whole region in the first place!”
The usually languid mayor frowned. “You weren’t here, Blues, so I don’t expect you to know what we went through here when we were besieged by the Lord of Terror. Maybe when you’re older and have a little more experience you’ll know a sliver of that.” Despite his almost half hearted tone, Boone’s words were meant to sting.
“I guess I understand now why the Kingdom abandoned this place,” Proto Man snapped. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go risk my head to save a bunch of people who wouldn’t know a fulfilling life if it slapped them in the face!” On his way out, he slammed the door with enough force to shatter it into a few dozen shards of fine wood. He instantly regretted his tone for betraying his years (or lack thereof), but he wouldn’t take back the words. Darkshire was a miserable place filled with sad, miserable people who seemed to be waiting for the darkness to swallow them whole. The bottom tiers of Coruscant were just as miserable, but the people there fought with every fiber of their being to improve their lot and make their neighborhoods a better place.
Darkshire? Darkshire was better off being razed to the ground.
Proto Man kept walking until he heard the sound of boots rapidly approaching from behind. The preteen machine paused and glanced over his shoulder to see Dobson racing to catch up with him. The unofficial leader of the town’s garrison had a look of concern on his face.
“Where are you going?” The young man asked as he stopped to catch his breath.
“The Black Gate… someone needs to end the Blight, and your mayor doesn’t want to lift a finger.”
That fact caused a frown to spread across the soldier’s features. “Bullshit.” He seemed ready to about-face and head back to the City Hall when his eyes suddenly light up and he snapped his fingers. “You can cure this, right? The Blight?”
“I don’t know,” Proto Man replied. “Removing the archdemon will prevent it from spreading, but I don’t know what will happen to the darkspawn or those infected by the Blight.”
“I have a friend… she was part of the original group that set out to deal with the Blight.”
“I thought you said they disappeared?”
“Things changed,” the man answered. “She survived, but she’s got the first signs of the disease. We had to turn her away at the gate to prevent any of the citizens from contracting it from her. If you’re going to end this, she’ll be more than willing to help you. I can guarantee that.”
“Where is she?”
“She has a camp a few miles away from the north gate…”
“What’s her name?”
“Whirda. Whirda Windstrom.”
At the mention of the name, Proto Man’s database pulled up a few matches and a picture of a young woman he’d met at the Fountain of Infinity. Once the two were paired together, his GPS threw up an icon that pointed in her general direction. “Got it… thank you.” With that, the red robot turned and started to jog toward the nearest gate out of the town. If she’d been in the Omniverse for as long as him than maybe this Whirda, infection and all, would be able to help him settle the score with ‘Scylla.’
After that, Proto Man could leave this morose place once and for all...

With a nod, Crona whispers lightly to his blade, and just like that, it transforms into a pillar of sickly purple light before the young boy absorbs it into himself as though it was a ordinary thing. He felt even more insecure without something to hold, and so grabs his elbow with his opposite arm as he follows Jon into the Gate. He gawks at the trooper Captain as he snorts somewhat at Crona before returning to his post outside the gate, being met with a series of grunts and mumbles as his platoon acknowledges his arrival. He would have continued staring, if not for a blaring white light as he entered the gate to Coruscant.
Crona breathes in heavily as he enters through the gate, a bright light dazzling his eyes as he travels through. It really was quite a sublime feeling, unlike anything he had experienced before, but as suddenly as it started, it was over, and he finds himself standing infront of the Empire's glorious city of Coruscant. He stretches his head around to get a good feel of the place, it seemed to escalate in every direction, the giant cityscape somewhat reminding him of his home in Death City on his home world, except this place was definitely much more high-tech. He even saw strange hovering boxes that seemed to transport people to one of the other levels of the city. It truly seemed like a marvel, but more then that, those weird white soldiers were telling the truth.
It bustled with people, soldiers and civilians went about their business to whatever place they were rushing off to. Crona wondered how many things there would be in such a city, libraries, training rooms, maybe a nice place where he could get away from everyone. Maybe there were even others like him, taken from their world? He shuddered at the idea, not that they were taken, but the idea of conversing with people. For now, Jon was enough to give him direction, and Ragnarok would always be there for him. Even if it didn't seem like it.
With a light sigh, Crona relaxes somewhat, though still clings onto his elbow with his hand, this felt a little more like his own home. Sure, it was a little different, especially with the flying boxes and the lights with no candles in them, but aside from that, he found the cityscape comforting.
He stretches his neck up as far as it would go, wondering how far the slate of metal ceiling was above him. This complex must be huge, surely there was a place he could gather his thoughts, but most importantly, figure out how to get back to his own world.
His own world... He wondered if it already to late to stop his mother, or if his friends had begun to worry about him, or maybe the Kishin had defeated them all, and there was nothing to return to. The thoughts plagued him, and he grew anxious again, instead of being comforted, he found himself in a strange labyrinth-like city with no direction. He turns and looks for Jon.
"So... this is... this is pretty nice, huh?" He says warily.

'I see the moon, the moon sees me
shining through the leaves of the old oak tree
Oh, let the light that shines on me
shine on the one I love.
Over the mountain, over the sea,
back where my heart is longing to be
Oh, let the light that shines on me
shine on the one I love.
I hear the lark, the lark hears me
singing from the leaves of the old oak tree
Oh, let the lark that sings to me
sing to the one I love,
Over the mountains, over the sea
back where my heart is longing to be
Oh, let the lark that sings to me
sing to the one I love...'
"I love you"
"Jack! No!"
CRACK
"Was it worth it?"
Jack sprung from his 'Dream' with incredible agility and spun to a defending stance as he heard the words.
"Annabelle!" The winter spirit breathed.
"That was her name wasn't it, winter spirit? Or do you prefer 'jack'?"
The young man paused for a second, confused. Where was he? How did he get here? He was just with Annabelle. Annabelle.
"Where is Annabelle?" Jack questioned the voice with lethality.
"Well Jackson, you saved her. You do remember, do you not? You took her place through the cracking ice, in turn sacr-"
"I KNOW WHAT I DID!" The boy exclaimed cutting off the voice, "How do you know what happened?!" Jack asked, for he was the only one who knew 'HOW' he became This winter deity. Tooth helped him find his memory. Tooth.
"Where are my friends? How did I get here? Who are you?" Jack spoke
The voice laughed a hearty deep one, "Ahhhh, I figured you would be this way. Well I guess my fun is over, I am the Man on the Moon. This I am sending you to another place, because well he wants you. But I need you to remember why I created you. I need you to remember who you are. I just want you to know, I did this all for a reason.
Jack didn't have time to answer back before he blacked out.
Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”
Omni hands you a glimmering orb in which all the colors of the rainbow coalesce. “This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.
“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn.
“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”
Great. Jack was left to find his own path. Speaking of paths, where was he? Jack discovered to his surprise that he was next to a large fountain of perplexing design in a field of green. When talking to the 'God', he didn't recognize any of these surroundings.
"Well I should get to some cover." Jack spoke to no one in particular. He saw the bright sun peeking it's rosy fingers over the horizon.
Jack took a step forward, sliding a wooden stick on the ground. Not a stick, it was his staff! He surged forward and cartwheeled over the staff plucking it off of the ground as well.
"Well, at least I have means of protecting myself." Jack spoke towards the staff.
Jack diverted his attention away from the staff towards his immediate north. A jungle of sorts.
"Looks promising" he breathed, "shall we then?" No sooner as the last word escaped his lips, jack somersaulted north towards this jungle.
This would come to be an interesting turn of events.

After my last RP I have to wonder... who does all those plans and outlines? and who just wings it? ANd Why?
Personally... IN my years of Rping I seem to keep the same aggressive style. I Might have an end goal and a few slight outlines... But other then that.. I wing it. I dont feel I can Plan a characters development that easily...
PLus I like it when things change.
But I also am from a predominant fighting style rpg as well... Lol

Crona wasn't quite sure what had happened to him, he was certain he was walking through a familiar thick forest as he travelled to his mother's hideout, but now as he looked up, all he could see was a stark whiteness that completely surrounded him. He gasped lightly, rather shocked at the discovery, did he take a wrong turn? Was this a trap he walked into as he daydreamed? He started to panic, desperately searching for any sign of the green forest he was just in, but instead lays eyes upon a strange shape. It seemed like a man, at first, but it could have easily been a trick of the light, which Crona hoped it was until he heard the man's voice.
Quote:My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse.
Crona wasn't one for conversation, even a child would frighten him if it tried to speak to him, so a strange godlike man such as Omni caused him to freeze wide-eyed in horror.
Quote:You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully. This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.
"I think I desire most to be alone right now, please..." Crona thinks immediately, he grips tightly onto Ragnarok as he stares up at Omni's presence, unable to articulate the words. Instead, he focuses on the brilliant rainbow orb that Omni had bestowed upon him, immediately taking a defensive stance as though the orb was going to kill him, but just a few moments later, it was gone. Crona begins to swing his blade around frantically trying to find where the orb was, all this new information was overwhelming for him, and he shivered with a terrified look on his face while Omni finished the rest of his speech.
Quote:You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn.
"More? More people? Oh no, not more." Crona whines in his head, he longed more than anything right now to be back with Maka and the rest of his friends, still waiting in his own world. He wondered if time would continue on without him, surely someone would come to rescue him so he could return to his room and hide from the world, but just as he turns to ask the question, Omni is gone, revealing a large, strange fountain, and other people travelling along the blank white space. It was all a bit too much for Crona, and in seconds it looked like he was about to wail and burst into tears, and he likely would have if not for the timely intervention of Ragnarok stretching out of Crona's back.
"You idiot! You got lost, didn't you?! Now we're screwed, you hear me? All your fault, you dumbass!" Ragnarok screeches as he proceeds to pound lightly on Crona's head in irritation. Crona yelps loudly, trying to defend himself from Ragnarok's harassment, but without much success. "Look I'm sorry OK? I was just walking in the forest and wasn't really paying attention and I knew the way and now something happened and...and..." He rapidly made as many excuses as he could to stop Ragnarok's bullying, and eventually it worked, as the Demon took his attention away to look around and survey the surroundings, seeing much of what Crona had already seen, but also spotting what looked like arches or gates in the distance. "Well, theres other people here, so thats good, I guess... We should figure out where we are and how to get back, got it? Go check out those thingies way over there or something." He says before disappearing back into Crona's back. Sighing heavily, Crona mumbles in agreement before deciding on one of the strange structures his companion was talking about, and takes off as he cautiously holds on to his heavy black blade as though it was the only thing standing between him and certain doom.
Looks like his mother would just have to wait a little longer...

His final decision was only reached after hs reluctantly admitted that if he did nothing, not only would it probably leave a bad taste in his mouth, it would also mean stewing in his boredom for who could say how much longer before finding something -- anything, really -- else to do. Besides, it would give him a chance to actually visit another one of the...'verses' that apparently made this place up. Might as well learn a little something about something while he was busy doing nothing.
And so there he was, crossing the gate from Camelot back to the Nexus once more. His rather...well-worn travelling clothing had been done away with, at the flyer's mention of formal attire being required. To such an end, he had put his mind to work and called up that fancy summoning power that Omnilium granted, and within only several long minutes, had recalled the attire he had once worn as an Admiral, though with a few...minor changes.
The most prominent being the absence of the sleeping mask normally adorning his forehead, and the kanji for "Justice", the trademark slogan of the Marines, replaced with kanji that instead read his epithet -- "Aokiji". It should do, he hoped. After garbing himself appropriately, he went about the process of extracting his former clothing, and then left on his way to the Nexus.
And no sooner had he stepped through to the vast expanse of white did he set about summoning something else to help cross the intervening distance. And several minutes later, the rumble and roar of the engine of his version of Smoker's Billower Bike resounded, and he was off, the coat of his uniform streaming out behind him amid the billows of white smoke like some obnoxious cape.
After checking the directions on the flyer's reverse side, he corrected his course, heading toward the gate to the Pale Moors. His trip there was rather dull and uneventful, with only his own thoughts to keep him company, though he could see others ocasionally coming or going through other gates every now and then, on business of their own.
He eventually rolled up to the gate he presumed to be the one to the... He checked the flyer again. The...Pale Moors? Man, what a depressing-sounding name... But it seemed to fit the description given in the directions from Camelot, and it certainly looked like a gate that would lead to a place called the Pale Moors. With a shake of the head, he started the bike forward again, and rolled on through the gate, and into whatever awaited him on the other side.
