Character name: Nealaphh
Character source: Original
Character history:
Nealaphh is being who has been slighted.
Originally from completely different Multiverse, Nealaphh was effectively a god. Able to bend time and space to its whim, Nealaphh devoured stars on a whim, and had almost total omniscience. Its pervasive presence throughout that Multiverse made it especially attuned to the flow of events, and eventually, it came to Nealaphh's attention that the Multiverse it inhabited was dying.
For a being that has no need to heed the concepts of space and time, it was trivial to branch out its tendrils to try and latch on to a new ultimate reality to inhabit.
The first place it found was the Omniverse.
Though Nealaphh was far from the most powerful entity in its Multiverse, it had no reason to fear a being such as Omni. When Nealaphh accepted Omni's invitation into the Omniverse, Nealaphh was under the assumption that it would have the same control it did in its old Multiverse.
It did not.
Nealaphh realized too late that Omni had transplanted only a tiny fragment of Nealaphh's being into the Omniverse. The would-be god cursed and raged at Omni, but the deed was done, and the capricious overseer kicked Nealaphh into his world without another word.
Nealaphh was horrified at what it was made to be; mortal, finite, and confined to but a single form and body. Having almost none of its former power, Nealaphh could not even escape back into its old Multiverse. But what Omni could not take from Nealaphh was it's mind. Despite being a but a fleeting shadow of its former self, Nealaphh still could draw upon its vast and otherworldly knowledge to at least manipulate the Omniverse in limited ways around itself.
Now Nealaphh roams the Omniverse as a pilgrim, seeking to fully comprehend each and every verse within this vast new world. The shadow plots to one day take Omni's place in control of the Omniverse for itself, but it is no fool. It will be patient, and amass as much power as it can before enacting it's plans of revenge.
Physical Description:
Nealaphh prefers to keep a low profile, and as such has adapted a shadowy form well suited to its preferred climbs. The shadow wears a heavy black cloak that has further black symbols stitched into it. Most of the symbols appear to be meaningless squiggles, but occasionally, when viewed as a group, they sometimes appear to form images of constellations and planets.
Though humanoid in proportions, the resemblances to a normal person end there. Nealaphh's skin is completely pitch black, and seems to have a sort of polished shine, though this is not usually noticeable when it is wearing it's heavy robe. Nealaphh's face is completely devoid of features, except for three green eyes that have an acidic glow. The first two of its eyes are in the normal place for a human, but the third is placed slightly below the right eye, giving Nealaphh's face an eerie assemetry.
Nealaphh's body is completely androgynous, and if it sheds its robe, it has only a naked body beneath, devoid of any sort of identifying features. Items that it carries are stored out of sight within the voluminous sleeves of its robe, and it usually has its arms folded together, unless it specifically needs to grasp or manipulate something manually.
Nealaphh can only communicate telepathically.
Stats:
ATK: 1
DEF: 4
SPD: 0
TEC: 5
Nealaphh is a tactical genius, and it's otherworldly body make it highly resilient to most normal forms of damage. Nealaphh, however, is not accustomed to operating within a physical body, and as such, it moves in a slow, ponderous fashion. In addition, while it can keep an opponent at bay if need be, Nealaphh prefers to avoid confrontation and tends not to put a great deal of force into its attacks.
Starting Proficiencies:
Ranged Proficiency (1000 OM), Remote Control Proficiency (600 OM), Ranged Materialization Proficiency (600 OM)
Starting Powers:
Advanced Telekinesis (1000), Telepathy (1500 OM)
Starting Moves:
Spatial Snap (300 OM)
Nealaphh causes a small 3x3 foot sphere of space to suddenly burst outwards directly in front of itself. This will effectively deflect any incoming physical matter in a random direction. Energy based attacks such as fire, ki, or lasers are not affected.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.
Read it twice.

Hey all,
So I intend on joining and posting a character sheet very soon, but I just need help working out a specific power I want my OC to have.
I'd like him to be able to adapt his body to be able to survive most hostile environments, such as spontaneously gaining water breathing or a resistance to high heat. It wouldn't give him immunity to say, heat or cold if used in attack form; just prevent him from freezing to death in very cold places.
Would that be Shapeshifting completely, or since it's only limited to adaptations would it be a multipurpose power?
I am thinking of taking survivability as well to make absolutely sure he can survive in any environment in any verse.

Once your name appears here, you may RP being escorted to the elevator and taken to the Barracks. You may turn down leaving right away, but you will be automatically moved to the Barracks on the 22nd, regardless of whether or not you had the chance to RP this happening (you won't be penalized in any way)
If you head to the Barracks before the 22nd, you cannot leave and go back to the rest of the facility. One-way street.

Appearance – Namekian, usually wheres a cloak, where his battle attire and cloak are, a mix of dark orange, crimson, dark green and black colors.
Personality – Your character’s personality in a few sentences.
Possible Reactions – Retane is not afraid to kill. He knows this is kill or be killed.
Relationships – Retane and Jack Frost (if he follows through and enters) are members of The Horsemen.
‘Combat’ Style – Retane is not afraid to kill. He knows this is kill or be killed.
Eligible Powers – Master Acrobat, Super Jumping*, Telepathy
Moves – Feral Claws*, Materialization, Rite of Namek
Extra – Malefactor/Orgosynth - Counts as a Tier 1.5 Transformation (1 SP cost)
Quotes – *"So you are the ugly son-of-a-bitch that's been making this place miserable? You are the one that protetected the slimy bastard behind me and the one that was going to torture my comrades? How about you try to torture me, or are you gonna stand there thinking you are are a pretty little princess?"
*"I am sorry, my friend, but I am scared that you are too innocent for this. It seem's I am not, but I am not scarred for me. I am however scared for you. Just do not hate me for this choice."
*The Namek wanted to avert his eyes. He really didn't want to do it. But even The Skull had said that 'at least one of them had to die'. Who wanted to live life alone with all those bad memories? Who wanted to be apart from their family? The Emerald Warrior let out a low growl and looked down at the bullet in his hand. It went to the Single Shot. "Yes."
*Grenade.... "Tapion... We made it my freind. We are finally here. Now you can rest and no one can disturb you. They won't hurt you anymore. I promise."
*"Tapion... No one will hurt you anymore..." The Namekian spoke almost gently as he watched the explosion erupt, causing a flash of napalm to flare up before the unstable hill collapsed on top of it, burying the soon to be ashes of those that had lost their lives on this battlefield.

Appearance – http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090...295%29.png
Personality – Claire Ferguson has been fighting since she was a child, so she has a good 'Fight IQ' when it comes to confrontations. She has a tendency to get too lost in strategy and takes things too seriously, which makes her a great leader. She has a bit of an emotional wall to keep strangers away, but once it gets chipped away she can actually be very sociable and after awhile, very loyal. She is very opinionated and when she loses her temper, can lose her 'strategic mind' and become brash.
Possible Reactions – Blink is entering the competition as if it's just a regular fighting tournament. She's brand new to the Omniverse and hasn't yet found her 'purpose' here. So she's approaching the show as her introduction to the Omniverse - it'll allow her to make friends and allies and figure out where she wants to go from here. She tries to act tough but she works much better in groups, especially as the leader, so her first instinct is going to be to establish relationships.
Relationships – None
‘Combat’ Style – Blink's first instinct in a violent confrontation is going to be use her portals to gain an advantage. She could use them to hide somewhere or just to get behind someone. She's a very 'think first, act second' kind of person so she'll want to strategically gain an advantage before she initiated the conflict. She's decent in hand to hand combat but her forte is ranged, utilizing the shadow energy that causes her portals. Since that'll be several hampered, her best bet is to use portals.
Eligible Powers – Teleportation (utilizing portals)*
Moves – Teleportation Energy*
Extra – N/A
Quotes – N/A.

With Dante's Abyss 2015 coming up, I thought it would be cool for the vet members to reminisce on why DA was so awesome and for those writers here unfamiliar to the game (probably the majority of you) to get a feel of the competition.

As a foreword, I became aware of this RP site because of a friend who plays here as Sivo Sigma-3177 and Okor.
Character name: Galel Baraz
Character source: Warhammer 40k, Original Character
Character history: Originating in a universe of unrelenting war and brutality, Galel Baraz was born on Holy Terra in the waning days of the Emperor of Mankind's Unification Wars. A man of strong will and sound body, he was selected as one of the founding members of the Thousand Sons Legion of the Adeptus Astartes. Transformed by sciences beyond his understanding, Galel went from fit young man to superhuman warrior, and over the course of decades his skills were honed as a soldier. Even as his comrades succumbed to the rampant mutation so common among the Legionairres of the Thousand Sons, Galel persevered, his purpose clear; to unify mankind under the banner of the Emperor.
All of this changed nearly a century after his induction into the Thousand Sons. Their numbers low due to the crippling mutations their gene-seed had been afflicted with, the Thousand Sons were finally given hope. Their gene-father, the Primarch Magnus the Red, was found on the desolate world of Prospero. As their gene-father despaired at the fate that had befallen them, he used his Psychic power to seek answers, and soon healed the Thousand Sons of their affliction. Galel swore utter loyalty to Magnus upon that day, believing Magnus to have done something that even the Emperor could not.
As the Emperor's Great Crusade progressed, the Thousand Sons and their Primarch brought many worlds into the Imperial fold, and Galel served with utter devotion. Though he lacked the Psychic powers so prevalent among the legion, he distinguished himself as a capable warrior and fine soldier many times over. Galel's devotion was unquestioned, and he took pride in every day he served his Primarch and the Emperor, though this would not last. Too soon, the Council of Nikea was convened, a trial to determine the place of Psykers in the Imperium. Though his beloved Primarch argued valiantly, the Emperor's fury at the use of sorcery was too great. The Librarians of the Legiones Astartes were banned, and Magnus and the Thousand Sons were forced to swear to never again use Sorcery. Though Magnus swore to his father, the Emperor, that he and his legion would not use sorcery, it was a lie.
Within secluded halls, the Thousand Sons continued to practice sorcery. Magnus, the powerful Psyker that he was, foresaw the events that would come to pass, the fracturing of the Great Crusade, the fall of his brother Primarchs to chaos, and the near-death of the Emperor himself. Using powerful Sorcery, he breached the Psychic defenses of the Imperial palace and contacted the Emperor, revealing to him that Horus would betray him. The Emperor, outraged at Magnus's use of Sorcery, did not believe him, and sent the Space Wolves legion of Astartes to purge the Thousand Sons from Prospero.
The battle raged for days, the capital city of Tizca protected by a Psychic barrier while the rest of the planet was reduced to rubble by orbital bombardment. Finally, the Space Wolves descended to the ground, and the Legions fought each other on the field of battle. Hundreds died as Sorcery unlike any before was unleashed upon the invaders, but it was not enough. One by one, the great white spires of Tizca fell to the Space Wolves' onslaught, and one by one, the Thousand Sons died. Finally, Magnus himself appeared on the field of battle, and fought his brother, Leman Russ.
The clash of two Primarchs was a legendary battle, and sorcery beyond even that which had been unleashed in the defense of Prospero was brought to bear on the Space Wolves' Primarch. Alas, it was not enough, and slowly but surely, Magnus began to lose ground. Forced to accept the aid of the dark god Tzeentch, Magnus and the remaining members of his Legion were whisked away through the warp and to the Planet of Sorcerers. Safe for the time being, the Legion mourned the loss of it's brethren, and devoted themselves to the service of their new god and master.
Even as his brothers began their work on a spell to bring their Legion's power to new heights, the trip through the warp had changed Galel. His mind was open, and his soul was connected to the Warp like never before. Scant weeks before the Rubric of Ahriman was cast, Galel's Psychic powers awakened, and he began his training as an acolyte of sorcery.
Soon, the Rubric was cast, and those Thousand Sons who did not possess the power of the Psyker were turned to dust, their souls fused to their armour. Both horrified and awed, Galel's power grew as the effects of the Rubric took hold on the Psykers of the Legion. His development accelerated by the Rubric, Galel pledged himself anew to Tzeentch, forsaking his great reverence of Magnus to better understand the Lord of Change.
Since those dark days, Galel had wandered the galaxy, searching for scraps of lost lore and honing his Psychic abilities. His collection of dark artefacts and Psychic powers had grown large indeed when he stumbled across a ritual he had not yet encountered. Mysteriously compelled to perform it, Galel gathered the materials necessary and cast the sorceries involved. At the culmination of the ritual, energy coursed through him as reality warped and he vanished from the universe.
Physical Description: Galel is a large man, as is typical of Astartes. His head is shaved bald, including his facial hair. Standing nearly seven and a half feet tall in his Power Armour, he has a light brown complexion and a pair of dark brown eyes. His teeth are sharp and pointed, the result of a mutation given to him by his dark god, and he has a third eye squarely in the middle of his forehead. This third eye is a light blue orb with a lizard-like yellow pupil, and acts as a focus for some of his Psychic powers.
Galel's Power Armour is a scavenged amalgam of parts, only the helmet and pauldrons of which dates back to the days of the Great Crusade. His helmet is a battered MK V Heresy-Pattern Power Helmet, while his Pauldrons are MK III Iron-Pattern. The left Pauldron proudly displays the symbol of Tzeentch, while the right displays the symbol of the pre-heresy Thousand Sons. His armour is painted in the iridescent blue and gold of the post-heresy Thousand Sons, and tattered robe bottoms are worn over top of his greaves.

Starting Powers:
Starting Moves:
Phobos-Pattern Plasma Pistol (300 OM) (Requires Ranged Proficiency, Area Attack Proficiency)
An ancient weapon dating back to the days of the Great Crusade, this weapon has been with Galel for ten thousand standard years. It uses magnetic coils to accelerate a bolt of superheated plasma to high speeds, which upon impact flood the surrounding area with high levels of thermal radiation. The accuracy and damage of the weapon are unmatched by contemporary versions, but the massive energy draw and heat generation necessitates a cooling and recharge time of several seconds before it can be fired again. In addition, most energy packs can only provide power for three or four shots before needing to be replaced.
Titan-Pattern Force Sword (600 OM) (Requires Physical Proficiency)
An incredibly rare and useful piece of technology, Force Swords are weapons made of Psychically resonant material and circuits that amplify psychic energy, allowing a Psyker to channel their power through the weapon. It can be used in two ways, the first is as a normal sword, albeit an extremely durable one. The second is as a focus for psychic power. When used in this way, the weapon crackles with energy and is significantly stronger. When struck by a Force Sword used as a focus, the victim will experience waves of wracking pain as Psychic energy ravages their body and mind. Though channeling Psychic energy into a Force Sword is no more tiring than any other low-level Psychic power, striking someone with it and sending that Psychic energy into them is taxing, and thus cannot be done often without fatiguing or even injuring the Psyker.
Warp-Energy Barrier (300 OM) (Requires Area Shield Proficiency)
Calling upon the power of the warp, a Psyker can project barriers of force around themselves to provide protection from attacks and dangers. It takes a few seconds to conjure up the energy, but once a barrier has been manifested it is difficult to break.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

All Secrets Known - Alice in Chains

A full, supple moon as bright and beautiful as any on Earth filled the landscape with its luminescent sheen as they stepped through the portal and into the lands of Camelot. The warmth was comfortable, with only the most subtle of breezes weaving its way through the trees and tall grasses. Little bugs blinked their little yellow bums as they rose from the flowers in sparkly waves. The contrast from the last realm was incredibly vivid, where the Fountain was empty and devoid of everything, Camelot seemed to blossom with life, even here in what seemed to be late evening, when most creatures prepared for slumber.
“So, where are we going?” Violet was the first to break the silence between them. “It seems pretty late. Are we camping out somewhere?”
“Nay, m’lady;” Wyatt replied. “The first stop will be to an inn, yes, but there will be some business to attend to there before we had to Minas Tirith.”
“Ah yea, that’s the capital, right?”
“Right.”
Wooptie fucking doo, she thought to herself. “What sorta business?”
“My charges are usually processed and the appointments with the King are set up there. You’ll be logged as a visitor here, and evaluated for safety reasons.”
“Afraid I’m going to go batshit on your people, eh? Good to know I’m still intimidating as hell to someone;” she grinned.
Wyatt stifled a laugh as he prodded his horse to go a little faster. “You don’t strike me as ‘intimidating’, but always better to lean towards the side of caution than not.”
“I guess,” she said, rolling her eyes. “I used to be scary, once upon a time.”
He gave her a side eye that she took as disbelief. “I did!” she insisted.
“Whatever you say, m’lady.”
“Stop that.”
“What?”
“That ‘m’lady’ crap,” her face scrunched in annoyance. “I’m no one’s lady, and it’s just pretentious as hell.”
“I apologize if I offended m’la-“
She made a sharp noise, interrupting him before he could say that word again. “No.”
Wyatt sighed. “We’re almost there,” he announced.
“Thank goodness,” she snorted. “This is beautiful and all, but I’m bored out of my fuckin’ mind.”
“You’ll have plenty to do soon enough.”
“Good.” She released her reins long enough to pull her hair back into its ponytail, securing it with the scrunchie she usually had wrapped around her wrist. Fashionable and functional, just the way she liked it.
Fifteen minutes later, they entered into a town she could only surmise had never seen a lightbulb. Hurray, she thought dourly. No computers, no internet, not even electricity. How was she expected to live here?
“So, no one’s heard of electricity here?”
“The smaller villages often do not have such luxuries.” Wyatt led her towards a two story inn, a structure that looked like something straight out of a Victorian storybook. The past was the past for a reason, and she only hoped they believed in modern plumbing.
“Ugh. How do you people function?”
“Just the same as anyone else,” Wyatt looked slightly offended. “It takes a little more work, and we use different materials, but we function just fine.”
“Please, please tell me you at least have a shower here;” she whined.
“We have people who will bring you fresh hot water whenever you need it.”
Her skin flushed. She couldn’t freak out before she even gave it a chance. “Okay,” she breathed slowly. “So it’ll be like camping.”
“If that satisfies you, yes.”
“It doesn’t.” She stopped her mount in front of the inn and dismounted, affixing the reins to a post nearby. “Like, I can almost hear banjos in the distance.”
“Some people do like to play instruments before bed,” Wyatt secured his own mount and walked towards the generous expanse of wooded stairs that led into the ornate building.
“That’s not what I meant…but it doesn’t matter. I’m stuck in this ho-dunk place until we meet Argon or whatever his name is.” She didn’t miss the derisive look Wyatt gave her over his shoulder. One could only hope he was as annoyed as she was. Surely, she couldn’t be the only one that had to suffer.
