So, since it's been established that I can't pull from unrelated media to form my Omniverse version of the Exiles, it looks like the next best thing is to make original characters and use them as secondaries. The rules seem to support that I can do this, but I want to make sure that's okay. Is it?

Greetings, fellow primes and secondaries.

I doubt many of you are aware of my name or nature, and this is to be expected. I am a recent addition to this Omniverse, and I do not claim to be reknowned or all-powerful.

What I do claim to be, is a victim, and by dint of association, I declare you all to be victims as well. There are, perhaps, some souls within the Verses that are enthralled at the concept of existing in a place such as this, but I am certain there exists an equal number of you who resent this world's cruel overlord.

Omni, henceforth to be called 'The Smiling One', has taken us all from our homes, worlds...universes. To quote his insidious words 'This is not the world you know', and neither is it the world we asked for. For the most part, I have a hard time relating to a majority of what might be considered normal emotions, and for that I apologize. But when I look around this Omniverse, when I talk to its people and denizens, I am swiftly overwhelmed by the amount of sadness that pervades this querious world. Many of you try to make the best of it...you do your best to cope and thrive with what you have been given, but can you truly say that you are content?

At the very least, I am not content. Who and what I was before being abducted into this strange world is not important in so much as the plain fact that I am not what I once was. My sovereignty as a sentient being has been violated, and this alone is what compels me to deliver this message to you.

The Smiling One is, ultimately The Great Enemy within this Omniverse. I see the wars you wage amongst yourselves, and it drives me to wonder...what might we be capable of if we were to stand united against our Pale Overlord? I personally believe we might be able to free ourselves from his capricious whims, and maybe, just maybe, manage to return to our rightful places across the Myriad Realities.

I am sure many of you have been following the gruesome events of Dante's Abyss, and are now unfortunately aware of the potential for the mighty primes, The Smiling One's Chosen, to be cast out from his reach. Violet Uzumaki's terrible fate has revealed that The Smiling One is not all powerful, and that his will can be defied in concrete ways. Moreover, it has further revealed that, within this Omniverse, we Victims stand subject to potentially worse fates than indefinite perpetuity at The Smiling One's pleasure.

But how to stand against such a titanic foe? I understand your concern, and I point to what I consider to be his greatest mistake; omnilium. In his arrogance, The Smiling One has granted primes with the ability for unlimited creative potential. Some might call me a hypocrite to simultaneously decry The Pale Overlord and embrace his greatest gift to us, but I ask you; is omnilium truly a gift? Or is it a debt that The Smiling One owes us? Our true potential, quantized into discreet units of value, represents the identities that were taken from us. I have no compunction in utilizing what was stolen from me in the first place.

I shall not bend your ears further at this time, as there is much that needs to be said, and plenty of time to say it in. As such, I will leave you with this plea:

Do not trust The Smiling One. Come together, and reclaim what is rightfully yours.

If you feel the need to chastise or inquire on my rhetoric, I have dedicated space on this Dataverse site for such discussion. When the time is right, I will reveal my personal strategy for justice, but for the time being, know me as an ally, and have faith that I will strive to set this Omniverse right.

  Axorn, King of the Draconians
Posted by: Axorn_Guest - 06-01-2015, 07:09 AM - Forum: Joining - Replies (9)

Character name:
Axorn Gonin

Character source:
Original, used in previous role-plays on other sites

Character history:
Axorn is from Tranquility, a future version of the Earth as we know it. The continents of the world have reformed over time into a new Pangaea-like landmass with small islands off to the side. The world has an array of technology used by it's inhabitants ranging from medieval to futuristic.

Axorn was born under Draconian King Shlone and Draconian Queen Breala. He had a brother named Kronax, who was 10 years older than Axorn. During the first five years of his life he lived a happy and innocent life with his family and grew an interest in human machinery and technology, much like his older brother Kronax. Together, they were able to create a powerful sword that was able to fire crystals that when activated, cause the cells of the living thing they're touching to kill themselves. They also were able to steal blueprints for a powerful armor from the Dragons, which they built and named "Dragonweave" armor. His happy life was about to take a drastic turn as the tensions between the Dragons and the Draconians were brewing and the two parties were on the verge of war. The only thing preventing it was that neither Breala nor the Dragon Queen at the time, Issilda, wished to engage in battle. Shlone, having a general hatred of dragons, used her sly tongue to trick Breala into declaring war on the dragons by saying that one of her eggs had been stolen by the Dragons even though he had actually hidden the egg and someone had found it and taken it somewhere.

After Axorn and Kronax heard the news, they quickly set to work creating weapons and armor for the Draconians. Kronax decided that he was going to the front lines with the sword and armor they had created together. Due to this, they decided to name the sword "Dragonsbane". As the war progressed, Axorn continued to distribute custom weapons and armor to the rest of the Draconians. After two long years of war, Kronax decided to try to single-handedly end it by pinning Issilda. Sadly, because of his arrogance he died without even getting near the Dragon Queen on the field of battle. When Breala heard the news, she was even more determined to defeat the Dragons and win the war, but, one of the Draconians found her missing child and showed her a picture of the child. When she saw the picture and recognized all the royal features, she signed a peace treaty with the Dragons and ordered Shlone to be executed for his treachery.

Afterwards, Axorn blamed the death of his brother on himself, thinking that if he had been strong enough to participate in the war, he could have saved his brother. He left the kingdom and wandered the world, training with the powerful Draconian nomads that left the kingdom long ago because of the corruption and hatred of Dragons in it's system. There, he learned how to control the temperature of his fire, and learned how to augment either his human or Dragon DNA to change himself into one of them.

When Axorn returned to the kingdom he learned that the rest of the Queen's eggs had either been duds or were born with defects that resulted in their death. Thus, he has no brothers or sisters.

Axorn joined the army and quickly rose to the top ranks, but after seeing that the army took up all of his time and he had none of his own, he left.

Axorn then had many adventures on his own exploring the world of Tranquility. He later returned to the kingdom briefly when he learned that his brother's body had been found. He took the sword, Dragonsbane and swore an oath that he would fight to keep the balance of the world.

Later, his mother died, almost releasing a Darkling into the world. Thankfully, one of Axorn's Dragon friends was able to destroy the newborn Darkling by tossing it into a black hole.

Axorn has thus become the Draconian King, giving him new responsibilities.

Axorn had heard rumors of people with unique abilities or high positions of power disappearing without a trace. Thus, he made preparations within the kingdom in case he disappeared as well.

Axorn was taking a 1 week vacation from his duties by himself at a small house he had built on a deserted island near a lake. One day, he was sitting peacefully by the lake when the world suddenly went black as he was transported into the Omniverse.

Physical Description: (originals only)

Axorn is a draconian, a half-human half-dragon creature that can be summed up as a bi-pedal dragon. He is a fire draconian, and as such he has red scales and uses the element of fire. Axorn is 6' 2" tall and is about 1' 3" wide. His total wingspan is 7' 3". His feet and hands have claws, and he normally wears leather armor not because of the slight defense boost, but because of the amount of pockets it has for items. Despite the fact that the picture doesn't quite show it, he has a tail.

Stats:
ATK: 3
DEF: 4
SPD: 1
TEC: 2

Starting Proficiencies: 2600
Physical Strength (1000)
Ranged Proficiency (1000)
Remote Control Proficiency (600)

Starting Powers: 1800
Flight (1800)

Starting Moves: 600
Dragonsbane: (600) (Physical Strength, Ranged Proficiency, Remote Control Proficiency)
Dragonsbane is a powerful gunblade created by Axorn with a moderate weight. It can either be used for melee attacks or can have a sharp crystal fired from the tip which, after activated from a long period of concentration, will disintegrate anything within a 3cm radius of itself before disintegrating itself. The sword can only hold 12 crystals at a time, and has a large recoil, forcing the user to plant their feet before firing if they don't want to fall over.

I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

  Girls Love Enel
Posted by: Enel - 06-01-2015, 05:33 AM - Forum: The Endless Dunes - No Replies

“What the jank …” said Enel. He couldn’t believe that Ganondorf had killed his old vassal. What a waste of a good servant! He sulked while his maids stroked him and crooned. “Get off!” He snapped. He wasn’t in the mood anymore.

No, now was time for action. He was God; he could do whatever he pleased. It was time to get out and get to work.

The last Birkan found himself wandering the Gerudo village Ganondorf had left behind. He scowled at seeing so many dirty dark-skinned vagabonds, with their hook noses and their red hair. They all reminded him of Ganondorf. He had half a mind to destroy them all right now, but they served a purpose; producing food for the Castle, procuring goods from the other towns and verses, and bringing him omnilium, paltry as it was compared to the amount he himself could gain in a single outing. Besides, he thought with a rising sneer. It’s nice to see them subjugated. Perhaps I’ll have to work them harder. I’ll set Firani to it … wait, shit. He grumbled.

Now was not the time for silly politics. It was time to proceed, time to gain the knowledge he needed. It was becoming increasingly and uncomfortably apparent that this illusory world was far more complex and labyrinthine then he’d thought. Perhaps it was not just one devil eater, but many. It made sense — a single devil eater stood no chance of taking him down, nor could they have produced a world as realistic as this one. ‘Omni’ was simply a codename for their group — a transparent attempt to hide the fact that they were legion. As for the other inhabitants … he had no idea. Illusions, perhaps, but more likely poor fools brought here in an attempt to slow him down. What was Omni’s plan?

He would have to begin by gaining transportation. This was where the rules of the illusion began to work against it. For a deity as clever as the Lord of Lightning, any disadvantage could be made into an advantage. And so he began to focus his mind on the one thing he knew his enemies would be terrified of. In fact … it was the one thing he had yet to complete even in the true world.

The Golden Ark.

His eyes glazed over in misty wonderment as he thought of the Great Ark. So close to completion now, his life’s work. It would harbour him to Fairy Vearth and then he would finally take his rightful place at the seat of the universe …

Enel clenched his fist and visualised the Golden Ark. But something was wrong. As he tried to channel his omnilium into the idea, making fantasy into reality, he felt a twinge in his mind. An ache that became tangible, and then shocked him completely out of his thought process. He snarled and tried again. Once more he was shocked from his meditative state. This was beginning to try his patience. This time he tried harder. The feedback was immediate and even more painful than before. The bastards! They had deliberately blocked him from summoning the one thing he needed most! Enel fumed.

“You there!” he snarled at a Gerudo passerby. The woman turned and regarded him with guarded fear. Enel was known, ever since he had taken over the Fortress. Most avoided him, but this woman had been unlucky. “What the hell do you shit stains do for transport around here? How do you get around?”

She looked blank, then pointed. “We ride horses.”

Enel followed the direction of her finger to a stable. It looked filthy. He glared back at her. “You ride animals? No wonder you smell so bad.” He thought for a moment before shaking his head. No. No God should be seen riding something so base. He decided to try something else.

If animals were allowed, then he’d create something fitting of his majesty. Within his mind he formed the shape of one of the legendary beasts he’d seen in his books. Long and serpentine, red of scale and long of whisker, no mortal could tame the dragons … except God himself. He cackled as his thoughts came to fruition. Perhaps twenty feet long, its eyes were impassive slits that regarded the village with the same haughty disdain Enel himself did. A fitting steed.

“Kneel!” barked Enel and the beast did as he bid. It lowered itself to the floor, allowing Enel to stride up and mount it just below its head. “Now ride!” he ordered. And with that, the serpent began to flow, almost like water, across the desert sands. Enel cackled. It was time to pay a visit to The Town with No Name.

  [M] The Darkness Down Below
Posted by: Violet - 06-01-2015, 04:03 AM - Forum: The Underverse - Replies (21)

As her body phased into a new place, Violet knew her time at Dante’s Abyss was over, and her parting gift was more than she could have asked for. In fact, it was one of those presents one usually shoved under the bed and forgot about for several years and then donate to the thrift store for some other unfortunate soul.

The abyss, it seems, had banished her to some sort of purgatory. Well, no, more like Victor Wolfe, that imp of a boy, banished her. She put some trust in him and he literally stabbed her in the back. Ironic, considering she’d been mulling over her trust issues all morning, and the moment she finally opened up to allowing herself to add to the group, to add safety to their numbers, it backfired.

She only had herself to blame, ultimately. This is what happened when you put trust in the wrong hands. The dog you fed will turn and bite yours right off. Mr. Wolfe was definitely on her shitlist. Game or no game, he had to have known what would have happened. How anybody could do such a thing to another person was beyond her, then again, she’d had to do some pretty crazy things herself to survive. The only difference was that she didn’t have to backstab someone to do it. Morals were a very subjective thing, apparently.

Her body completed the phasing in a matter of seconds, and wherever she was, it definitely wasn’t the lobby of Dante’s Abyss. It was a sort of palace, with red marble walls that shone like glass. Recesses were placed in calculated intervals, and what appeared to be lava flowed within them. Above her, a domed ceiling stretched upwards, with support beams that were hewn from black obsidian and carved in intricate curves and abstract figures. Nearly everything had a touch of gold flecked into it. Soft white light illuminated the dome and the room, glinting off of the gold flecks and making them sparkle like a million little diamonds.

The opulence boggled her. Where the hell was she?

The smell confused her even more. It was some sort of mixture between cookies and burnt caramel. She could taste it in the back of her throat, and there, she caught a little bit of something else…something noxious.

Violet made her way towards a far entryway that was framed in delicately carved ivory. Figures in various poses twisted their way up and around the framework, with jewels of different kinds worked in to accentuate what was starting to appear like a series of scenes. As she moved closer, her fingers running over the smooth material, she felt a strange energy pulsing just beneath the surface. It hummed along her fingers, down her arm, and up to her shoulder, sort of like a very mild electrical shock. The figures, she noticed, were not just random scenes, they were various poses of murder. One figure held another, its arm deep within the other’s chest. The head lulled to the side, nearly cut off. In another set of figures, half of one’s head was missing, while the other, with horns that seemed too big for its head, smiled with devilish glee. Her eyes roved over the other scenes, but she forced her gaze away.

Who the hell puts scenes of such gruesomeness in a place like this?

She began to walk quickly down a marble lined hallway, towards what appeared to be a split in the pathway. She took the left, and found herself looking down an even longer hall, this one narrow like those found in a cheap hotel. Big enough for a few people to walk abreast, but not much else. Doors were dispersed at even intervals, closed off to prying eyes. She doubted either of these was a way out, and probably didn’t lead to anything interesting. She skipped them and continued on, finding herself at another branch of hallways.

On and on it continued, branch after branch opened before her, seemingly giving her a choice, all promising to lead somewhere, but none of them lead anywhere except back to that strange room with the carved ivory framework, except now she was on the other side of where she started. It seemed it was just one big rectangle of pathways, regardless of what direction she took. She was only a little concerned. Okay, maybe a lot concerned. Was she just being obtuse, or was she just having bad luck with these pathways?

“Hello?” she finally called out. Perhaps someone would hear her and help her out. There was no reply, but she tried again a few more times, venturing towards the endless hallways of doors. Did the Abyss just goof and drop her off in an abandoned maze? It was a nice (sort of) maze, but a maze nonetheless. There should have been exit signs at least. The Fire Marshal would have a field day with this place.

The cookies and burnt sugar smell suddenly became overwhelming, and she lifted her shirt to cover her nose. “Christ, what the hell is that?”

Chuckling. Deep, masculine. Taunting.

“Hello?”

Silence. Her heart sped its beat just a little bit.

“Can we cut the creepy shit, please? Where am I?”

A cool breeze blew by her, ruffling her shirt. Where did that come from? Violet jerked her head around, looking for anything that would betray something or someone.

Then, before she could even process what was happening, the room plunged into darkness. Pure blackness enveloped her, and just as her panic began to increase, hands groped at her, pulling her backwards, encircling her. She let out a scream, but was cut off by a wad of cloth. She was being dragged by something, and by the ease in which they did so meant that whatever it was, it was large.

A door opened, and the breeze brushed her face as the door shut. The thing that drug her didn’t even stop, which meant someone else had opened it and closed it for them. Oh, Kami, what the hell did she get into?

Something hard and metallic was locked around her wrists, and then the distinct sound of chains. Fuck, fuck, fuck! Her mind and heart both raced as they tried to make sense of what was happening. She felt the chains wrap around her ankles, holding them in place. In one swift jerk, she was suddenly lifted off the floor and hung by the chains at her wrists.

A hand, large and rough, swept up her body, pausing in places that seemed to interest them. They hovered long over the edge of her ribcage and belly, playing along that bit of bone tenderly. Lips smacked loud and wet. More hands followed suit, three, four…eight hands. They tugged at her clothing, pulling it free from her jeans and running along the soft, bare flesh beneath.

“No…no…no!” she screamed as they all violated her person. Hands ripped and tore at her, peeling the thin material away from her body. They seemed to have trouble with the jeans, but those were only a momentary hindrance as one of the bigger hands balled into the thicker material and ripped it away.
The chains that held her hung against her bare skin, cold and unfeeling. She was fully exposed to whatever it was that lurked in the darkness.

The hands were so rough as they touched and poked along her flesh. Her eyes began to burn with tears that refused to fall. She would kill Victor if it was the last thing she ever did, one way or another!

Just as a scream began to bubble within her chest, fighting the tightness that constricted her throat, bright white light flooded the room, and she was suddenly face to face with monsters. She screamed.

Ain't Cutting no Ice [Gin/Alain/Mami/Jack Mitchell]
Posted by: Lubbock - 06-01-2015, 04:01 AM - Forum: The Frozen Fields - Replies (22)

The cold air hit Lubbock like a solid wall of ice, actually knocking the stud off of his horse, causing the black beast to disappear into that rainbow essence. He laid there for a moment, his body creating a person-shape in the gleaming snow. It kind of reminded him of some of the areas back where he was from that received a lot of snow. Before long Alain came up to his resting body and looked down, his red cloak seeming to block most of the cold.

"Hey, kid, stop lounging around," he commanded, and Lubbock obliged, but was instantly knocked back down as he felt a body collide with his back, murmuring something about 'bananas'.

"Oh, s-sorry!" Gin apologized as he picked himself up and helped his comrade out of the snow. The assassin finished picking himself up, and looked out to the enormous, frozen wasteland that was the Frozen Fields. Lubbock's eyes lit up at the glittering ice and snow, sending tiny spots and pricks of light dancing around the place. His face fell: it almost seemed like something Esdeath would create, like when she turned the South into her personal Ice Kingdom.

"Well, where to first, fellas?" Lubbock asked as he turned to his allies. After a moment's silence, Lubbock felt a lightbulb go off in his head. He skipped the green device out of his coat pocket and began to navigate across the strange, touch-sensitive glass on the front. It was easy enough to understand. He managed to find all the info about the different Verses, and accessed the Frozen Fields.

He scanned over the list of places and creatures, reading them aloud, "Dwarfholm, Zul'gurand... There's dwarves, giants, trolls, 'wumpas', and..." Lubbock's face was one of sheer awe as he looked straight at Alain and Gin, "Dragons!"

The boy was ecstatic. He slid his device back where it came from and summoned small dragon of his own, styled like the ones you would find at Japanese temples. Sadly, the minuscule thing could only get so far off the ground, but it should have been enough to go head-to-head with Alain's machine.

"Come on, Gin, let's go!" he called over his shoulder as him and Alain sped off through the snow, and the young redhead didn't even get a single word out before they were ages away.

"Assholes..." Gin cursed as he remounted upon Tonic and attempted to catch up to the speedsters.

This thread. It was shaping up to be awesome. I brought in a Noise, which Neku can't fight on his own, to give him and Medusa a reason to work together. Then Medusa up and disappeared. I've pretty much written myself into a corner. Is anyone in Coruscant willing to help? All you really have to do is start working with Neku. There's a blue beam of light signifying the Pact confirming itself and then you basically tag out hitting the Noise so that whenever it swaps from Frequency A to Frequency B one of you is still hitting it on its own frequency. Seriously, someone help T-T

You like having more people to play with, right? That was a rhetorical question, because having more people to write with is awesome. Do you also like OM? If the answer is 'yes', which OBVIOUSLY it is, then please vote for us on the following sites!

RPGfix (every 12 hours. If you register, your votes count as x2. Worth the couple of minutes to make an account if you're going to be voting every day)
Top RP Sites (Daily)

When you vote, please post here with your total vote count for this month. So "Voted: 1", "Voted: 3" or whatever. Just keep track of 'em. For our counting purposes, clicking vote on both sites, or on RPGfix if only that is available, counts as 1 vote. If you post less than twelve hours since your last post, we won't count it. This means you can get up to two vote counts a day if you vote exactly every twelve hours. Simple? SIMPLE.

At the end of the month, if you posted ...

7-13 times: You get 100 OM.
14-23 times: You get 200 OM.
24+ times: You get 300 OM.
Every day: You get 300 OM, and a high five from me for being so damn diligent.

If you have an alternate character and wish to claim your reward on that account as opposed to your main one, please let us know in the topic before the month ends. If you don't, we'll assume you want the OM on the account you posted with.

We're going to trust in this that people actually click the links and don't just reply. I mean it only takes a few seconds to click these links anyway, but if there's a discrepancy between the posts here and the number of votes, and people really want to try and scam their way to a few hundred extra OM without voting, then we'll just remove this. Capiche?

Thanks for voting everyone! If you have time, please also leave a vote and review for us on Top RPG sites (once only).
