Mirror mirror on the wall... [insert thread title here]
So, how old is your character? Have they been around since biblical times or such?
The oldest one shall earn the (not so) prized bragging right to call themselves "The oldest Prime"! Bring it on!
Amaterasu's hard to determine as she was reincarnated into her wolf form, which is only a few months old... but her previous incarnations go way back, so she is either very young or very old.

Geno (No canon age nor reference)

Guu (Elder God, so she's old but no exact age or range)
Helel ("As old as the dimension he's from", another one that exists outside of time)
Invoker (Since the beginnings of time of the Dota-verse)
Nealaphh (Unclear because he existed outside of time. See here)
Okuu (Complete guesswork, could be mid 20s. See for yourself)
Pinkie Pie (In terms of maturity she's 18 but ponies mature faster, so the physical age would be less)
Sans (A few hundred years?)
[/spoiler]
Note: People are categorized based on how long they have been alive since their birth - not the age they physically look. Also, if someone was alive, then died and later came back to life that time spent dead doesn't count towards their age.

Invoker looked upon the enemy Ancient, or the remains of it to be precise. A satisfied looked crossed his face. Was there ever any doubt that he, the great Invoker, would emerge victorious? He turned take his leave. His team mates had been graced with his presence long enough. As he took his first step, however, the ground was not there to meet him. Suddenly he was enveloped in darkness and felt as if he were falling.
After his meeting with Omni, Invoker woke in front of the fountain of infinity, which had taken the form of the Radiant fountain. Roused awake by the gurgling of the cool water flowing through the fountain, Invoker rose to his feet and looked around. Sheer white in every direction. "Where am I?" He muttered to himself. Invoker quickly realised that his reagents were missing. He corrected this immediately and soon enough, Quas, Wex and Exort were hovering around his shoulders. Something still felt off however. Invoker tried to think about what was missing when he realised that his memory was somewhat cloudy. This sent panic through the mage's body. He had always had a perfect memory and this forgetfulness could be disastrous. Invoker quickly scanned his memory for his spells. There was Deafening Blast, Cold Snap, Sun Strike, his trusty magic bolt and... And what? A sinking feeling appeared in Invoker's stomach. He couldn't remember a great number of his incantations.
A brief glance around revealed an array of arches on the horizon. Invoker set off in the direction of one of the arches in the hopes of jogging his memory. He could have summoned a mount, but he was never one for animals. While he walked, he mulled over Omni's words. His thoughts drifted back to Omnillium repeatedly. Was it possible for Invoker to restore his lost memory with this strange substance? After some time Invoker eventually came to one the arches. It was a portal, apparently formed of hewn stone. It intrigued Invoker so he reached out his hand, which disappeared into the portal, and then followed it into the portal.
Quote:Invoker has entered Camelot.

Something I've been slowly working at and putting together for a bit now and decided to finally put into practice and set out there for others to see and whatnot. Briefly touched on/explained and used to judge a Mock Fight recently, it will be more thoroughly documented and explained here.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________
General Fight Notes: This section is a brief overview of the judge's initial thoughts from just a read-through of the work. Things like a play-by-play of the reading, or just some 'liked this, didn't like this' sort of thing. It need not be excessive, or any more than a few comments, but may be as extensive as is necessary.
Word Count: This is a simple one to three judgement, based on whether you exceeded the word count in any post(s) or not. Every 'point' in this category will impose a cumulative -1 penalty to Total Score.
Time Call: Another simple one to three judgement, based on whether you were over the time limit in any post(s) or not. Every 'point' in this category will impose a cumulative -1 penalty to Total Score.
Missed Posts: Another simple, but much more severe judgement, also on a one to three basis, depending on whether you missed any post(s) altogether. Every 'point' in this category will impose a cumulative -2 penalty to Total Score.
The score for all of the following categories, barring the Penalties and Bonuses categories, will be rated on a scale of 1 to 10, with a 3-4 being a rough 'average' rating for the site as a whole, generally speaking. Note that not all rankings carry over cleanly to all categories, such as Skill, which should be taken into consideration.
Rating of 1: The category in question is definitely in need of work. There are either frequent errors, obvious mistakes, readability issues or the like.
Rating of 2: The category is in need of improvement, but shows some promise and basic understanding of the concepts at play.
Rating of 3: The low end of average. Roughly on par with the general level of the site as a whole.
Rating of 4: The high end of average. On par with most of the site as a whole.
Rating of 5: Somewhat above average. Improvement is still a thing to strive for, but a decent grasp of the concepts in question is present.
Rating of 6: Above average. Room for improvement is still present, but on the whole a good grasp of things is clearly in play.
Rating of 7: Good Job. Not many errors present, well-presented.
Rating of 8: Very good. Not much room for improvement remains.
Rating of 9: Excellent. Almost no errors or issues present, and clearly very well thought out or checked over.
Rating of 10: For lack of a better word, Perfect. Virtually no errors present.
Quality: This is the section dealing primarily with how well the general feel of the writing was and how well the descriptions enabled the reader to envision the scene at hand. Good use of descriptive words to effectively describe not only the scenery, but the actions of those who inhabit it. Clarity of description is almost as important as the description itself. Word usage, and not overloading or underloading things is also taken into consideration.
Technical: This is primarily the clerical body of work for judging. Things like spelling, grammar, punctuation and sentence structure. Things like sentence length, the way sentences and wording 'flow' or not. Sentence length, impact of words and the general display and coordination of the work all play a part in determining this score. Excessive paragraph or sentence length, or excessive use of short sentences/paragraphs can cause this score to suffer.
Realism: Stats are important to know what your character is capable of, as are their powers and moves. How accurately you portray those limitations and work with them, and how well you cope with and portray damage and injuries as they accrue over the course of a fight, all play a part into this category of judging.
Scale: Not every battle has to be big and massive or overblown. It might be as simple as a clashing of swords and little else. But it should still feel like it has some weight and merit behind it or it quickly starts to feel dull. This category reflects that. The scale and feel of the fight at hand, how important and how much weight each movement carries. That isn't to say that EVERY action needs to matter, but the less overall impact each contribution has the more this category will begin to suffer.
Skill: This is a tricky category, dealing primarily with how many 'well-played' or 'wow' moments there were. The better the display, both IC and OOC, of the performance at hand. Well-laid plans and the like, or clever strategies or just a particularly brilliant choice of words or action can all contribute to this category. That said, this is the only category that may not always get a high score — or a score at all — due to its very nature.
Bonuses: SP usage is a major factor in a fight. That said, every point of SP spend will add an immediate .5 to your Total Score, helping to shore up any weak points you may have or cover for any Penalties you may receive.
Penalties: The total of any penalties imposed from Word Count, Time Call, or Missed Posts ratings, plain and simple.
Total Score: The total of your Quality, Technical, Realism, Scale, and Skill categories averaged together, with any Bonuses and/or Penalties applied.

Obviously, this is still somewhat of a work in progress as I iron out final details and mess with the specifics of it all. Anyone who wishes to is free to use it, if they are of a mind to do so. That said, I am wholly open to any comments anyone might have that would work toward improving it or ironing out any obvious kinks in the system, so to speak. Any general comments or questions about it are also fair game, I suppose. The entire intent for posting it up in this fashion was to acquire such feedback.

Character Name: Lament
Character Source: Original
Character History: Lament has only fragments of memory remaining of his homeworld. Fragments which, by and large, are swathed in fire and enshrined in death. He doesn't know where he lived, what he did for a living, or what he called himself then. The only thing that is perfectly clear to him is her: a woman's face, collected in flashes like photographs of over a thousand distinct moments; little things, like sitting on a park bench with her, or holding her infant son while she looks on and smiles. Whether the child is also his, or if it is instead his grandson, he is unsure. His attention is always fixed on her. He knows that she ages, but he can never match an age to her face. He knows that she laughs easily and kisses him often, but he can't hear her laugh, nor feel her kiss. He has access to the events of a lifetime spent beside her, captured in his head: Beautiful, timeless, and torturous. It tortures him because, though he can see her, he can never reach her, never truly understand her. There is no context to the scattered, shattered images. He doesn't even know her name. He knows only that he loved her; and that, in the end, he failed her. His clearest, sharpest memory is one of her hanging over a cliff, her hand in his, trying to pull her to safety. The ground beneath his feet crumbles, and he falls backwards, her hand slipping from his grasp...and then he wakes up to blankness.
To blankness, and to the mad grin of a cruel god. To Omni. To what should be death. To what must be Hell. To what might--just might--be a chance at redemption.
Physical Description: Lament is an adult male human with partial spiritual infusion, a la Danny Phantom. Whether this was his state on his homeworld or if a transition occurred while he was in transit to the Omniverse is unknown. Lament is largely convinced that it was the latter case. At the time of his arrival in Nexus, he wears clothing that is more or less business-casual--slacks and a buttoned topcoat over a long-sleeved shirt. Going by appearances, he is about 30 years old, though it's difficult to say if that is his true age or simply the image he projects of himself. His skin is incredibly pale, almost albino, and his eyes change color depending on his mood. The stronger or more unstable his emotions, the wider the color spreads out from his irises. Since his arrival, they've been a solid, pupiless onyx, or else a blue dark enough to masquerade as black. He has no body or facial hair, and the hair on his head is a rather boring shade of light, muddy brown, thinning slightly at the top.
Starting Stat Explanation
ATK 1: Lament doesn't really want to hurt anyone. He doesn't have much of a grasp on his newfound powers either. Of course, both of these circumstances may change in time.
DEF 4: Lament's part-spirit form is very tough and quite resilient against most attacks.
SPD 2: As another advantage of his new form, Lament can move fairly quickly when the need arises.
TEC 3: Though Lament has no training as a soldier (or thinks that he doesn't, anyway), he is naturally precise and sometimes frighteningly capable. His bursts of skill are unpredictable and automatic, but still quite useful in combat.
Starting Moves (1200): With Regret (300); Shock (300); Spectral Bolt (600)
Starting Proficiencies (2000): Ranged Proficiency (1000), Debuffing (1000), Area Attack Proficiency (600)
Starting Powers (1200): Phasing--An early development of Lament's ghostly powers, allowing him to pass through solid objects with ease.
Move List
With Regret (Ranged Proficiency, Debuffing)--300 OM: Lament closes his eyes for a moment with his hands clenched in fists at his side, remembering what he has lost, and worse, what he has forgotten, then he lashes out at his opponent with the full weight of his pain. He raises his hands, and a white ray of energy, roughly 2 feet in diameter, shoots from between his palms towards his opponent (or, more accurately, wherever his hands are pointing when the ray launches). The attack takes two focused seconds to prepare, plus one second to fire once he raises his hands. If the attack hits, his opponent receives a portion of Lament's pain, and is knocked back and staggered by the force of it. A character can be knocked back up to 12 feet and staggered for up to 1 second, depending on DEF. Though this takes quite a bit of energy, it's actually rather cathartic for Lament, and he can breath a little easier for the rest of the battle.
Shock (Ranged Proficiency, Debuffing, Area Attack)--300 OM: Lament struggles to process the workings of this world at times. This is his response to that strangeness, a literal manifestation of the shock and paralysis he felt when coming into the Nexus. He stands stock-still, and a bright ball of electricity sparks into existence over his head, pauses for a full second, then zips down towards wherever his opponent was standing at the time the attack began. The ball moves extremely rapidly and explodes when it lands, blossoming out to a three-foot radius and paralyzing the opponent's nervous system for up to 2 seconds. The effect is most powerful at the center of the blast. Lament can get caught in the blast, though it only paralyzes him half as long as his opponent. This attack requires a fair amount of energy, as it doesn't do much actual damage, but offers an excellent chance to set up for more powerful abilities.
Spectral Bolt (Ranged Proficiency)--600 OM: Lament fires a beam of light and ectoplasm, usually from his palm or forehead, impaling his opponent like an crossbow bolt before disappearing into aether. This attack doesn't take much energy, and in its base state deals about as much damage as an arrow from a fully drawn shortbow. The bolt can be fired very rapidly, as if from a machine gun, though it's weaker when used in quick succession, like all weapons under the influence of Omniphysics. He can use this attack while moving, though it is less accurate when he does so.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

Somewhere on a barren plateau walked a lone figure clad in blue. He had been walking for days in the desert looking for a familiar place. He stopped and saw in the distance his location, a shattered tower half crumbled with a huge skull insignia. As if remembering something the figure shuddered but kept walking. It had a reason for being here. 30 minutes later it stood at the tower's gates still remembering the events that happened here. It raised its arm and pressed a button, seemingly hidden, on its side. 3 seconds later a red beam of light fell from the sky and materialized into the shape of a dog.
"C'mon Rush he might be in here."
The 2 partners walked in to the remains of the building. Rush noses flashed and shot a beam of light that illuminated the dark passageway. As they ventured deeper into the building the figure thought back to the last time he saw the person he was looking for.
(Light Labs, U.S.A, 3 months ago)
"Rock, come help me decorate the living room before the guests come! Our Christmas party starts in 30 minutes!", Roll yelled. In the front yard Rock stopped stringing the Christmas lights and looked down from the roof at Quake Woman with pleading eyes. "Fine, you can go before Roll kills you. Besides it wont take long for me to finish anyway.", Quake Woman cheerily replied. Rock immediately dashed into the house and found Roll in the party room already ordering around Guts Man and Cut Man. Roll suddenly turns around and gives Rock a glare. "Stop standing there like a dolt and start moving these decorations! ", Roll yelled, despite being only a few feet from Rock. Rock looked past Roll to see Cut Man mouthing 'Run while you can!'. Sighing, Rock picked up a statue of one of Santa 's elves holding a bowl which was filled with all sorts of holiday themed candy and moved it near the entrance. After placing down the elf he went back to move more stuff when he heard an all too familiar whistle. Rock immediately dashed to the nearest window, Cut Man and Guts Man and Guts Man in tow. Roll dropped her checklist and ran to the door, opening it and looking out side. "It's Blues!", she exclaimed loudly. Immediately Dr. Light and Dr. Lalinde rushed to the door to get a look for themselves. "Hey guys! I thought I'd come over and help ya set up for Christmas." Blues said, standing in the doorway before he was assaulted by hugs, handshakes and tears.
(Wily Tower, Unknown Location in Arizona Desert)
Mega Man stopped reminiscing when Rush barked. They were standing over a pit filled with debris. He remembered this place. It was where Buster Rod G., mad with revenge, destroyed a part of the tower hoping to bury Mega Man alive. Jumping from block to block one of his shots pushed Buster off a block and the poor robot fell into his own trap. Mega Man wondered if he was still down there. Perhaps he could be reprogrammed and get a real job. Possibly join Commando Man in the military, or be a security guard somewhere. Curiosity over took Mega Man and he decided to investigate. "Rush used your jet form" Mega Man ordered his partner. Rush barked in response and transformed into a hover board. Mega Man jumped on Rush's back and flew down into the pit. 'I should be looking to see if Proto Man used this place as a shelter at one time or another, not looking for an insane robot' Yet still Mega Man landed and stepped down. Almost as soon as he did a hand grabbed his foot. Before he could turn around a rod struck in one of the few weak points in his armor: right in the center of his back. "Ooh, looks who come back to this dump. Bet you forgot about the monkey who has a bone to pick with you, huh?" Mega man spasming in pain couldn't turn around to see his assaulter but already knew who it was. 'Buster Rod g. was here the entire time waiting for me to come back.' Mega Man thought as the pain intensified. Suddenly the rod retracted and the pain stopped. A robot jumped out of the debris and got into a battle stance. "Lets see how you do now "Blue Bomber" Ha Ha". The monkey's mocking voice echoed throughout the chamber. Mega Man tried to get up but his legs wouldn't respond. A quick system diagnostics told him Buster had hit the robot equivalent of a nerve Paralyzing his legs. Buster saw that Mega Man was disabled and immediately took the opportunity to attack string Mega Man again and again with his rod. "How does this feel you pimp. This is how I felt buried by part of tower. See why I'm so mad!" the robot said in anger. "Better make sure I smash this before I finish you off." the monkey said while striking the tele porter chip in his helmet. 'Now I cant go warp to Dr. Light to repair myself!' Mega man thought in fear. Suddenly a bark was heard. Rush jumped and opened his jaws only to get a mouthful of Buster Rod. "Now where was I? Oh yes." The monkey said while turning back to his victim.
System damage critical. Engaging warp sequence. Warp sequence failed. No emergency E-Tanks detected. Warning unit is in danger of destruction. Sending a help signal now..... Helps signal sent

The world became blindingly bright as Nihilus awoke from a deep sleep. He faintly recalled the figure of a pure white man and some parting advice. As he got up he studied this new world knowing that it was entirely different. The white blank space of the new and foreign land felt awkward for him ,but there was something different about Darth Nihilus. His body was restored and the Mass Shadows did not eat at him. Nor did his craving for force energy.

Character name: Amber Veritz
Character source: RWBY OC
Character history:
Amber, just like Ruby, grew up wanting to become a Huntress. After long the long toiling of training, and the creation of her own unique weapon her father helped her build, Amber made it into beacon. On her first day, she witnessed Weiss Schnee(Yes, a Schnee) get blown up by some girl with a huge Scythe from sneezing Dust. She had planned to go and meet Ruby, but after the explosion, she thought she may not want to speak. Mainly, she wanted to see Ruby's Crescent Rose up close: Quite the weapon enthusiast she is.
Once Amber made it into Beacon, she was acquainted with a team. The first member was a friend of hers, since they were kids they dreamed of enrolling in Beacon. The only guy on her team, Murasaki, was this person. He is a quiet guy, but strong and would risk his life for Amber. Next is a person she had never met, just like the last. Her name is Bianca, and she believes she is royalty. Though she isn't much of a head on fighter, Bianca can use aiding support such as healing, or buff type attacks on her allies. The last member of the Team is Rose. She specializes in slowing down their enemies, or just head on assaulting them. Short-fused and hot tempered, most just try not to piss her off. Together, these four form Team AMBR.
Amber came to the Omniverse after an experience with a breed of Grim that she had never learned about in class. It created some kind of toxic fume that made her pass out. She didn't know what happened to the rest of her team, but when she awoke, she couldn't speak or move. Everything was black, until Omni revealed himself.
Physical Description:
Amber is a 17 year old teenager. Her hair is a dark brown color, and her eyes glows a bright blue. However, the most outstanding point in her appearance is her cat ears and tail: She is a faunus. Standing at 5' 2" and weighing in at 109lb, Amber is a force to be reckoned with for even with her small stature, she wields a Great-sword called the Razorback, 6ft long from hilt to tip and weighing in at 10.27lb. Her regular attire is a dark colored hoodie, a t-shirt, and a skirt. Lastly, she is left handed.

Stats: (Upgrade 1 - 1000)
ATK: 4 - While Amber is quite small, she's stronger than she appears. While most use they're auras for protection, she uses her aura as a projected force to increase her physical stature. This is why she can attack with such ferocity. She uses her aura on her muscles, which prevent them from ripping due to excess strain put on them, so she can exert much greater force without killing herself in the process: This is her Semblance.
DEF: 2 - Being so small has it's disadvantages of course: Amber is still human, so obviously she's just as tough as one. Though her aura helps her deflect attacks slightly.
SPD: 3 - Amber's ability to maneuver is exceptional when you take in to consideration of her weapon type. Not only can she move quickly, but she can attack quickly as well, making her quite a terrifying opponent should someone piss her off.
TEC: 2 - It doesn't take much finesse to wield Razorback: If you can swing it, you can use it. Although, her technique is worthy. However, using a semi-automatic rifle and aiming it correctly takes focus. So, her technique has to be good enough to shoot straight.
Starting Proficiencies: Physical Strength and Ranged Proficiency (2000)
Starting Powers:
Master Acrobat(400) - It takes a great deal of athleticism to use a great-sword properly. Being able to maneuver well with it has to mean the user should have some kind of acrobatic skill.
Basic Super Jumping(300) - Amber's ability to jump increased upon entering the Omniverse, and dear Nyx did it increase exceptionally.
Mobile Data Device/Communicator(300) - Amber's scroll, it functions as a video/audio communication device, and will allow her to access the dataverse.

Starting Moves:
Razorback(The Great-sword Rifle.) -Physical Strength and Ranged Proficiency (600)
![[Image: tPsig9j.jpg]](http://i.imgur.com/tPsig9j.jpg)
Razorback, as mentioned in the description, is Amber's Great-sword rifle. The huge blade was forged by her and her father, her father fashioned the rifle parts, and she fashioned the blade. Razorback as mentioned before is 6' long blade to hilt, and weighs in at 10.27lb. The raw destructive force of the blade can cause slight alterations to a battlefield or scenery, including chopping down thin trees or cracking the earth. The mechanism of Razorback works by pulling down the fore-grip and trigger on the back of the blade. This causes the hilt to retreat into the base of the blade and the blade itself to rotate 180 degrees. That being said they can't be used simultaneously(Since the gun barrel would be in the mechanism when the sword is in use, and the hilt would be gone when using the rifle.). Since Razorback is big, it takes a few seconds to summon, about 5 at most with Amber's speed. When switching between range and melee, it takes 2 seconds for the blade to rotate 180 degrees. The rifle comes with a 20 bullet clip. It takes 4 seconds to reload and she carries 5 loaded clips with her(including the one that is already in the gun, so 4 reloads)
Aura Projection -Physical Strength(?) (300)
Amber controls her aura, having to concentrate on a defensive stance. She protects her body with an overlay of light, covering a specific part of her body, but she cannot cover her whole body at once. While she can still feel the blow, it is tough to break through the shield, for she focuses completely on the defensive capability of the move. As a result, she cannot attack, or for that matter move. It takes 1 second to cover one foot of her body, and her limit is three feet. This means it takes three seconds to reach it's full length, but it doesn't have to cover three feet all at once, and it is stronger the less it covers. So, covering her forearm(roughly one foot) would be a stronger barrier than covering her shoulder to her hand(roughly two feet)
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.
