  Trip to The Beach
Posted by: Dust - 01-10-2016, 02:50 AM - Forum: The Vasty Deep - Replies (29)

Hokori approached the gate, his bare feet slapping the cold floor in his slow steps as he comes to a stop just in front of it. Lights danced across his form, like the sun off waves against surfaces that had shadows cast over them. The aquatic blue light of the entrance bounced off his dark eyes, and he took a moment to appreciate the beauty of it after unable to do so for so long.. He wondered how long this would last, or if he was finally cure of the restrictions his world put on him. However, freedom came at a cost, or so his past has taught him. He took a deep breath, his chest expanding a moment before shrinking back to normal size before he took a bold step through the portal.

As he was pulled through, he wondered if it was just this gate, or if every gate would feel like you were swimming. No.. Not swimming, like a current has consumed one's body and was pulling them along for the ride.

There was a moment in the process of stepping through the gate, where he couldn't breath. But this didn't create fear in him, it made him feel very alive. The next moment he was on the other side, and the floating feeling fled, making him feel unusually heavy. It wasn't just that, though, he fell. Only an inch, but it was enough to make him catch himself so that he stood with his shoulder's raised and the rest of his body slumped. This had struck the slightest cord of fear in him, and his dark eyes looked like specks in The Nexus for a moment before he stood back up.

First thing's first, the absence of everything was gone. Sun, high in the sky and as hot as the one back in his world of origin, stretched its warmth through the air and warmed his body. It was gradual, unlike the sudden heat under his feet. The stone floor scorched his bare feet so fast he had to jump at the new sensation. He hissed a bit, but quickly made for the closest shade he could see.

His choice in shadow came from a very large building with a bright and inviting atmosphere. From inside he could feel a light breeze created by the fans on the ceiling, he could hear music that called out to his body to move, and he could smell alcohol and fruit. All signs implied it was a bar. It made him smile, no reason specifically, just a smile of delight. With a little peak in, however, his grin was for the attractive sun-kissed beauties that waved their hips side to side as they served people their drinks. It was not the first time he's ever seen women showing off so much skin, but it was the first time in a long time that he could enjoy it. The animal growl escaped him as he arched a few more muscles only to let them relax. He didn't have a tail, currently, but he could feel it swaying back and forth. "My kind of place, already." He said, more to himself than to anyone near him.

It was at that moment he glanced around to see if either Xavier, Asriel, or both had followed him. If not.. They were seriously missing out.

  Signature Moves
Posted by: Ganondorf - 01-09-2016, 10:16 PM - Forum: Omniverse Discussion - Replies (7)

This is an idea I had floating around in my head. A lot of characters have special items or abilities unique to their character. However, for the most part, a lot of these don't have rules to govern them. As a Move they'd be watered down, or they might not even be able to work as a Move. As an Artifact, they're subject to being stolen, which for something integral to the character is less than appealing. As such, I felt there HAD to be a way to implement these things without a) breaking the balance of the game and b) leaving people feeling they weren't up to snuff. Here's my idea.

Signature Moves.

The premise of a Signature Move is that it would grant a boon to your character, but would come at a cost. Since some people might be tempted to mitigate the cost by tagging it to something minor, I've decided that the price you pay for your bonus will always be the same. Straight Damage. Signature Moves would be a risk vs reward system, where you weigh the risks of increasing your damage vs. the benefit of whatever your move does.

Here are some examples of what that would look like:

+1 to a single stat for the duration of the scene/fight would cost 2 damage to your character. Yes, this would allow you to increase your stat up to a +10. Putting yourself at 20 damage, however, would kill you at the end of your post, rather than allowing you to use the bonus through the fight.

Regaining 1 SP would cost you 5 Damage. You might ask why SP hurts more than a stat. It's simple. SP is far more versatile and, frankly, it's far more "gamey" than a stat boost.

Use of a Super Move, Power-Up, or Assist for a round without SP cost will burn you for 3 damage per SP it would normally cost. This is a bit more restrictive (since you have to pick 1 of the three) than a flat SP boost, so it hurts less.

Here's an example of a Signature Move:

Prototype Energy Core (Proto Man): The small bot has learned to increase the efficacy of his Energy Core to grant him additional SP, but overloading his core in the manner tends to wreak havoc on his systems. By pushing his Core, Proto Man can grant himself an additional SP, to be used as he wishes, but the strain on his systems causes him to take 5 damage.

That's the basic premise of what I had come up with. Let me know what you think.

Fortnight of the 10th through the 23rd
Posted by: Kakashi Hatake - 01-09-2016, 07:01 PM - Forum: Bookkeeping Archive - Replies (49)

Step 1: Make a post. This post should be at least 600 words. You may also post multiple times adding up to 600 words or more.

Step 2: Click on the name of your post. See it? It's probably something like 'Re: The Story of John Doe', a large line of text above your post. This should have a hashtag and your post link at the end of it (see the bolded part on the end here: http://omniverse-rpg.com/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=1114&p=7298#p7298). Copy the entire URL from your address bar.

Step 3: Post it in the active fortnightly gains topic. The date of your post should be within the date range, GMT. If you are submitting multiple posts that add up to 600, post all of the links.

Step 4 (optional): If you have posted in the current book club, please include a link to that post along with the text 'book club'.

Step 5 (optional): If you have a Recognition bonus, please include in your post 'Recognition bonus: +50'. If you have an Ascendancy bonus, please post with 'Ascendancy bonus: +100'.

That's all you need to do! When the topic is updated, you will be given 300 OM. Obviously if you have a recognition or ascendancy bonus, this will be increased by 50 or 100. A book club bonus will increase this by a further 100. If no mod has posted at the end of the topic, then it hasn't been updated yet. You do not need to ask "has the thread been updated? I didn't get my OM" every week.

New fortnightly gains topics go up every second Sunday at midnight (at the end of Saturday and the dawn of Sunday) GMT. The valid time begins on Sunday at 0000 hours GMT and ends on Saturday at 2359 GMT.

You have arrived at your destination, chimes a woman's voice from the elevator's speakers. I've heard it a billion times, yeah, but it never seems to get old. Destination: Floor seventy-nine. Have a good evening, and thank you for visiting the Neptower.

Whuh? It's dark already. It shouldn't be evening, right?

I guess with it being as dark as it's been lately - Planeptune always gets real dark around winter, but it never gets cold - some time adjustment on the intercom-recording-thingies is called for. I'll get Nepgear to do it tomorrow morning, maybe, after she's done cleaning up the living room.

The silvery-white elevator doors slide open, revealing a purplish glow on their inner faces. I yawn a bit and, while walking through the entry hall, hear the elevator doors click shut behind me. Beyond the entry waits the living room, with the dining room to the left where Compa and Iffy are eating something or another. Iffy stares over Compa's shoulder at me like she's seen a ghost or something.

"Iffy, it isn't polite to stare," Compa whispers not-so-subtly across the table.

"I know," she responds, continuing to eye me up. "It's just... I don't think I've ever seen Nep so tired. How long were the eight of you fighting?"

I'm almost too tired to think up anything witty in response. "Uh, I think I lost track around three hours." Nope. Too tired to think of anything witty. I slip past the two, deciding a proper meal is not called for. The situation calls for something much greater.

I duck into the kitchen, dig through the fridge and pull out a six-pack of custard pudding. I whistle in approval. "This is the good stuff."

I dig through the cutlery drawer next to the fridge, take out a spoon and, with my now-full hands, cleverly shut the fridge with my right foot and proceed to do the same with the drawer. I get disapproving glances from Iffy as I pass her, but because I'm feeling generous, I drop two cups - one for Iffy and one for Compa - on the table, being careful not to drop anything on their food.

"Er, thanks," goes Iffy. "Are you... sure you're feeling all right? It's not like you to share."

I blink a few times, then look down at my six-pack turned four-pack of pudding. "I think you're right, Iffy," I respond, then gasp. "I'm even agreeing with you. I think I need to lay down..."

"I'll come give you a check-up soon," Compa says as I walk off to my bedroom. It was a good day, that's for sure - I'm not complaining about being tired, because in a lot of ways, I don't think I could be happier. I mean, I could've stuck around with Noire, Vert and Blanc, because they said something about an all-nighter, but I don't have the energy left to do that.

I really need this pudding. Oh, and some rest, too. I guess that's sort of maybe important.

I lay down in bed and peel off the lid on one of the pudding cups. I take a few spoonfuls of pure bliss and, despite how wonderful it is, I still want some rest. I polish off the four-pack and put it on my bedside table, then roll myself into a Nep-burrito with my blankets. I know I haven't changed into my pajamas, but really, I don't care. I had my parka dress on today, and it's cozy enough to wear to sleep.

Thanks for playing our game, I think as I drift off to sleep.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

"...ake up..."

"...eptune, wake up..."

Histy, I think groggily, but I don't even want to open my eyes yet. I don't feel like I've gotten much sleep at all, so waking up isn't something I'm looking forward to. "Five more minutes," I mutter and roll over...

Where'd my pillow go? I open my eyes and immediately regret it. Where did everything go? All that's here is Histy and a pretentious-looking marble fountain. It looks like something Vert would like, kind of like the one outside her mansion.

So, yeah. Definitely pretentious.

So the only other important thing in the area is Histy, and calling her a thing is rude, even by my standards. "Neptune?" she asks, looking at me with slightly narrowed eyes.

"Yeah?"

"What did you do?" she says. I blink in response. "Oh, c'mon. I know I can be a natural disaster sometimes, but I'm not this bad."

Histy pauses to think for a moment. "I suppose... yes, now that I think about it, I was jumping to conclusions," she decides. "I'll need you to transform - we have to figure out what's going on here quickly, and you can't do that in this form." As she finishes talking, she rests her chin in her hand and her elbow on her knee, watching intently and waiting for me to follow orders.

As I'm instructed, I try to go HDD, but something feels wrong. I shudder and hug myself, suddenly feeling really, really cold. "Uh, Histy," I respond through chattering teeth, "I don't think I can--"

Histy interjects in a panic, her voice raised in a way that seems more powerful than her itsy-bitsy body would allow. "Neptune! Planeptune's Shares-- how are they-- what did you do?!"

"Woah, woah, woah! Rude!" I shoot back. "Buuuuuuut... what's that about the Shares?" I add hastily, unable to tell whether I did something good or bad. Or, uh, may or may not have done, I should say.

"Not only can I not detect Shares from Lastation, Leanbox or Lowee," she explains, "but Planeptune's Shares are at a measly 2% in this world. Somebody other than the Goddesses is incredibly powerful here - you have competition far beyond your own power. My question is, how in the world did this happen? Why are we the only two here? Wait--" she stops herself, then flips the tome she's sitting on up in front of her. She starts flicking through pages far more quickly than I've ever bothered to watch her try. I twiddle my thumbs for a second and look around at the (lack of) scenery.

"Correct me if I'm wrong," goes Histy, "but after some quick notes on your memories - thank you for going vacant enough for me to check - I've found notes on a 'white shadow named Omni' who 'taught [Neptune] about Omnilium, and its incredible power in the Omniverse'," she rants. "If this is true, and not just some incredibly elaborate dream, we're in this 'Omniverse' at the moment, and you should be able to amass Shares again here by--"

Histy lets out a gentle sigh, as though she's afraid of what she's about to say. "Neptune, I must task you with creating a new Planeptune."

"Oh. Yeah. Right. I can do that," I respond, then I play back what she just said mentally. "Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?"

Histy steels herself, like she just needed a few seconds before she could handle how I'd react. "Neptune, there is little to no faith in you as a Goddess here," she says matter-of-factly. "If even a few of your believers were to convert at this moment, you might no longer have powers as a Goddess. You lack enough stable Share energy to even transform, which is dangerous enough. The easiest way to gather believers and convert new ones is to give them a new home. Do you understand?"

A rainbow orb glimmering in just inside my line of sight catches my attention. "Ooh, look at that! Is that some of that Omnom-nuh-bum stuff?" I ask. Not one to wait for an answer, I dash over to it for closer examination.

It's floating about a meter off the ground, changing colours sometimes, but most of the time it stays a light purplish colour. "Are you some kind of main character detector? Histy, is it showing my hair colour right?" I ask, turning around, backing up and pressing my head against it.

"Neptune," she returns dismissively, then examines the object. She then clears her throat and returns to her book. "This is Omnilium," she says in her reading voice - slightly less lively and a little louder than her normal voice. So think just about anybody's reading voice, except maybe less dull. "According to this 'Omni', it ties the Omniverse together and can make what you desire most."

I look at it for a second. "Sooooo, is there a microphone I give an order into, or..."

"This is going to be difficult for you," Histy responds, "but I'm going to have to ask you to think. Focus," she adds.

Feeling mildly insulted, I put my right hand below the ball of Umthedrum and think of that. A smile spreads across my face and I feel it forming in my hands, changing how it balances, how much it weighs... then a cylindrical cup lands in my hand. A cylindrical cup filled to the brim with custard pudding.

"Did you see that?!" I shout, pointing to Histy with a big grin on my face. "That was rad!"

Histy looks all but amused. "Well, I suppose I should have expected as much from you," she concludes. "I can see objects in each direction - care to explore? If anything, it would at least give you time for your pudding to settle."

I look away from the up-ended, nearly finished pudding cup in my hands to Histy. "Uh, yeah. Right," I say. "Oh! Exploring! I wanna go that way!" I say, discarding my pudding cup (but, of course, keeping the lid) and running off. Histy protests and shouts from behind, but she'll catch up soon enough. I think. Maybe. Probably.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

"Nep... Neptune, stop," Histy begs. "Let me... your shoulder, I'm going to sit on your shoulder," she says, then plops down on my shoulder. I feel her tiny head press up against my earlobe. I can't help but smile a little.

"Whew! I thought I was tired, that run was weak sauce next to an actual fight!" I chime in, rising up on my toes for a second to stretch my legs. "In more interesting news, palm trees!"

"Something's swirling between them," Histy notes. "I'd... be careful, Neptune," she gasps, still struggling to catch her breath. "I sense... another dimen-- dimension on the other side."

I whistle in approval. It's not quite as impressive as finding pudding in the fridge, but it's up there somewhere. "Get some shut-eye, Histy. I'll have a new Planeptune before ya know it!"

Then I leap through the portal.

Switch Alt (again): Brother Devon to Kylo Ren
Posted by: Kylo Ren - 01-09-2016, 01:58 PM - Forum: Joining - Replies (1)

WARNING: This profile has spoilers. I am hiding the entire thing under the spoiler tag so no one can 'accidentaly' read it. I ask that whoever judges the account have seen the movie to prevent the spoiler spread. Why switch to something that might contain massive spoilers? I love the character, though I will not be posting with him IC for at least a few more weeks or until the movie has been out at least a month, and even then massive warnings will be included till at least the end of Feburary.

Seriously if you haven't seen the movie please don't look at this yet.

[spoiler]Character name: Kylo Ren aka Ben Solo

Character source:Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Character history:
Kylo Ren, born Ben, was a Force-sensitive human male who was the master of the Knights of Ren, and to some capacity a commander of the First Order, approximately thirty years after the Battle of Endor. Born to Rebel heroes Leia Organa and Han Solo, Ben was trained as the Jedi apprentice of his uncle Luke Skywalker in Skywalker's new Jedi Academy. However, Ben was drawn to the dark side as a result of his obsession with the legacy of his grandfather, Darth Vader.

Believing himself to be too weak to live up to his grandfather as a Jedi, Ben was lured to the dark side, significantly influenced by a mysterious Force-user named Snoke. Taking the name Kylo Ren, Ben left his uncle's new order behind and killed all of his fellow apprentices. Skywalker disappeared and Kylo became one of the Knights of Ren within the First Order.

Seeking to find and destroy his uncle before he could rebuild the Jedi, Kylo set out to track down the last remnant of the only map that indicated his location, recovering all but one from the Empire's archives. Nearly obtaining the last fragment on Jakku, Kylo was beaten to it by Resistance pilot Poe Dameron, who hid the map in his droid BB-8. Kylo and the First Order then hunted the droid who befriended the scavenger Rey and former stormtrooper Finn.

After locating them on Takodana, Kylo decided to abandon searching for the droid and instead captured Rey, having read her mind with the Force and discovering she had seen the map. Due to Rey's latent Force powers, Kylo couldn't extract the information from her mind as he thought he would be able to—Rey instead turned it on Kylo, positing his inferiority complex concerning his grandfather. With Kylo gone to consult with Snoke, Rey was able to escape as the Resistance mounted an attack on Starkiller Base.

During the battle, Kylo encountered and killed his father, believing that it was his father's love that was weakening him in the dark side of the Force. After taking a consequential shot by Chewbacca, Kylo was then alerted to Rey and Finn's presence, who he then chased into the woods, engaging both in a lightsaber duel. He was further injured by Finn in the initial duel, but eventually struck Finn down, critically injuring him. He was finally overpowered by the Force-sensitive Rey, who left a severely wounded and unstable Kylo on the ground.

It was at this point, as he lay broken and beaten that Omni took Kylo from his world.

Lightsaber (300 OM)
Blade length: 4 feet
Crossgaurd vents: 2.5 inches each
Hilt length: 1 foot
Blade colour: Red
The lightsaber was crudely assembled based on an ancient design dating back thousands of years to the Great Scourge of Malachor, and thus featured seldom seen crossguard blades. A single cracked Kyber crystak, barely able to contain the weapon’s power, necessitated the vents which produced these crossgaurds and gave the weapon’s plasma blades an unstable, serrated appearance.

Force Slam: Requires telekinesis (300)
Range: Same as Telekinesis, but the person must be in his line of sight for Kylo to be able to take hold of them and use this power. Same down sides as Telekinesis, the further away the target is the weaker it is.
When concentrating, and using the force, with a wave of his hand Kylo can lift a single opponent into the air and then slam then down into the ground, hard.

T1-Super Attack - Force Lightening: (600)
Kylo channles the force into a discharge of electricity from his fingertips at a single target which results in electrocution, sometimes with an intensity so high that the victim's skeletal system started glowing and could be seen through his or her skin. Target must be in his line of sight.

  EPIC RAP BATTLES OF OMNIVERSE
Posted by: Albert Wesker - 01-09-2016, 08:15 AM - Forum: The Whateververse, Man - Replies (58)

Came up in the chat and it has been decreed it must be done. And so here is a thread for all such matters. Guidelines are simple.

Anyone who is interested puts their name in the running for being picked to match someone. At such point anyone may 'vote' for matchups to get pitted against one another in a battle to see who can spew the sickest fires. Victors will be determined by popular vote, and will get a pat on the back for their efforts.

Rules? Pssshhhh. Okay.

1) Once someone has participated in a rap battle, they may not participate in one immediately following it to give them time to do other things and give others a chance to participate.
2) Battles will be conducted primarily through PM or Skype or some such and collaborated on between participants to get things sorted out, and posted all at once so as to not clog up the thread.
3) More than 2 participants may of course be selected to take part. Try not to go too nuts with it though, yo.
4) Obviously there are no real limits on what 'rating' your raps can be. If you've watched any Epic Rap Battles of History, well....yeah. Basically that. Obviously if you personally feel things are going to get too over the top you're welcome (and encouraged or something) to put up some kind of warning or notice so people can go in prepared.
5) When you sign up as interested, note whether you're interested as one of your characters or the other, or both of them, or even yourself as the player if that's your thing.
6) When going at the rap battling itself, try and limit it to 3 'rounds' or verses of back and forth, to keep it from dragging on excessively. In essence, it's just like a regular battle here on the Omniverse with standard rules!

That's about it. Do your thing, folks.

Quote:A little fun concept that came up in the chat.

GANNY D VS GRUNDY!

FIGHT!

Ganon: You say you're from a swamp and your name is Grundy, but all you got is swamp ass and you smell like old cheese.

Grundy: Grundy gonna PUNCH you into the ground, you couldn't even take over one measley town! You're old and outdated, like a game of Zork you say that you're powerful all I see is pork!

Ganon: Pork you say? I'm not surprised/ that you see me as food, thunder-thighs. You're ugly and bloated, like Honey Boo Boo's mother/ dick so small women don't even bother.

Grundy: Oh you done it now, you awakened the rage, undead boots breaking up the stage, you won't endure my alpha strike, so get your ass off my floor so I can drop the mic.

Ganon: I ain't scared, you fight against Batman and lose like a dope/ spend so much time in Arkham, you don't drop the mic, you drop the soap! That's right, Grundy's not an alpha, he's just a little punk/ always bending over to take Joker's junk.

Grundy: Me, a wimp? Don't make me laugh. You got beat by a farm boy with a diaper rash! You preen and gloat, and then you choke, on the master sword that got shoved down your throat!

Jupiter (cut-in): Speaking of jokers, your rhymes are hilarious / while you bitches stutter, your premise's precarious / and I'm out here taking the gold, breakin' the mold, your so-called "raps" are getting old / so go back to writing your posts, got no time to fight now, who you think's killing it most?

Who won? Who's next? You decide!

Mock Fight: Colonel vs. Jade, Akame and Demetri OOC
Posted by: Albert Wesker - 01-09-2016, 05:24 AM - Forum: Omniverse Discussion - Replies (24)

Since I cannot find the original thread for this: IC thread

We are in need of a judge for this display of meaningless violence. The fight has just now officially started, so there is no immediate need for judging, but if you'd be interested in volunteering for it just step up to the plate.

The ruleset, for reference:
Word Limit: 800
Posts Per Player: 3
Time Limit: 72 hours
Random Elements: On
Damage Meter: On

Also I guess use this for any questions about the fight itself, for us participating in it.

I want my right to change characters to be revoked. I promised to keep my 2 characters but this will soldify it. Please don't allow Akame or Amber Veritz to do a character switch ever.

  Out-of-site RP series idea
Posted by: Stuart Gillman-Street - 01-08-2016, 04:54 PM - Forum: The Whateververse, Man - Replies (3)

Here's how things are gonna work...

Premise

The series is set in Fegensula, a 1st world fictional country that has a culture which is an amalgamation of the 1600s, today, and everything in between. Fegensulan residents rely heavily on repaired and second-hand technology as imports are scarce- Fegensulan officials want to preserve the rural culture of the nation. While English is the main language, it has its own Fegensulan slang. The series takes place at different points in time between the 1021-2021, but mainly focuses on the lives of eight main characters between 2018-2021. They live at 27 Chapman Road, Aweriton, which is where most of the stories take place.

Each volunteer will be assigned at least one character, but feel free to continue the story for others.

Main Characters
Stuart ‘Stu’ Gillman-Street (born May 20, 1995) (RPed by Stuart Gillman-Street)

Stu has much intelligence in his blue-haired head, though he doesn’t always put it to good use. He likes to joke around- which he does frequently- yet still knows when to be serious and knows how to cheer someone up. Doesn’t stop him from being a snarky so-and-so, though.

Christine ‘Tina’ McDouglass (born June 21, 1995)

Stu’s girlfriend, Tina is a strong independent woman who don’t need no man. Except, she has one, but Stu and Tina see each as both friends and partners. Tina jokes around just like Stu, but is a bit more mature. A bit.

Stanley 'Stan' Arinson (born November 19, 1994)

Stan's lack of book smarts are more than made up for in his street smarts. He is much snarkier than Stu, and while he has a huge problem with authority, he can be grounded when he needs/wants to.

Lennon ‘Len’ Nesmith (born July 14, 1995)

A transgender homosexual male, and Stu’s good friend, Len is kind and endearing, yet by no means naïve or unintelligent. Still, he rarely seems to struggle with making time for himself and is not above poking fun at his friends from time to time.

Julius Adrian 'Jules’ Randall (born January 20, 1995)

Jules is slick, charming and smooth; always respectful and easy-going, yet hides a mound of insecurity suppressed by daily sessions of meditation usually shared by Sage.

Paige Caulfield (born May 31, 1995)

Paige is the embodiment of liberalism in one Jamaican-Fegensulan package. To her friends, she is as sweet as honey, but get on her bad side and she will tear you apart like a paper shredder.

Braddlye Eicchi 'Sage’ Sage (born 13th October, 1492)

Sage is a vampire with a deep American accent, but is unlikely to 'vant to suck your blahd!’. He is commonly deadpan yet eloquent and has quite a literary tongue, and oftentimes finds himself equally bewildered by and condescending of his friends’ antics. Still, he always tries to do what he thinks is right.

Amadeus (born(?) ~200,000 BCE)

After nearly dying, Stu’s life was spared by rogue ex-Angel Of Death Deus in exchange for a room in his house. Deus is a wild card, hyperactive and borderline psychotic. Never get on his bad side. Ever.

Minor characters

Terry (born November 25, 2017) (RPed by Jade Harley)

Stu and Tina’s pet Yorkshire Terrier. The most important character of all.

Dr Walter Street (born October 21, 1953)

Stuart’s father- a scientist always creating failing or useless contraptions. That is except for CLID, a robot he hides so nobody attempts to steal it.

CLID (created September 18, 2013- November 3, 2019)

The walking (or, rather, wheeling), talking robot created by Prof. Walter Street. And when I say talk, I mean, barely- his text-to-speech unit is constantly dusty, causing him to speak in malapropisms.

Cèvelion 'Cèv' du Péde (born June 19, 1995)

Cèv is an aspiring actor from France who has little street smarts, but is by no means a pushover.

Christopher 'Chris' Shoaver (born August 30, 2005)

Now here's a shrimp with little smarts in anything. Chris, who currently is working a part-time job at Schwecter's Bar and Restaurant, is naïve, weak, spotty, and only knows what he learnt at school. I guess he tries his best.

Satan (born(?) ~200,000 BCE)

A front runner of The Human Post-Death Judicial System, Satan is the Head of the Lower World. He's a little sadistic, but fairly nice.

HUW (born(?) ~200,000 BCE)

HUW (which stands of the Head of the Upper World) is essentially God, and a frontrunner of The Human Post-Death Judicial System. He is at peace with all, albeit a little boring

Life After Death

When you die, you go to The Middle World (Purgatory) where you are walked to The Waiting Room (like the Pearly Gates) by an Angel of Death. There you will wither go to The Upper World (heaven), The Lower World (hell), or left in The Waiting Room based on obvious factors. This system is known as The Human Post-Death Judicial System, the leaders of which are The Head of The Upper World (essentially God; known as HUW (pronounced Hugh)) and The Head of The Lower World (essentially Satan, and known as such). HUW's accomplices are the Angels, and Satan's are the Demons (do not confuse HUW with God, he has no power over living humans). If an Angel of Death, Angel, Demon, HUW, or Satan decide to visit Earth, their powers are limited (Angels and Angels of Death are banished from their job for rogue behaviour, as was Amadeus).
