Invoker looked upon the enemy Ancient, or the remains of it to be precise. A satisfied looked crossed his face. Was there ever any doubt that he, the great Invoker, would emerge victorious? He turned take his leave. His team mates had been graced with his presence long enough. As he took his first step, however, the ground was not there to meet him. Suddenly he was enveloped in darkness and felt as if he were falling.
After his meeting with Omni, Invoker woke in front of the fountain of infinity, which had taken the form of the Radiant fountain. Roused awake by the gurgling of the cool water flowing through the fountain, Invoker rose to his feet and looked around. Sheer white in every direction. "Where am I?" He muttered to himself. Invoker quickly realised that his reagents were missing. He corrected this immediately and soon enough, Quas, Wex and Exort were hovering around his shoulders. Something still felt off however. Invoker tried to think about what was missing when he realised that his memory was somewhat cloudy. This sent panic through the mage's body. He had always had a perfect memory and this forgetfulness could be disastrous. Invoker quickly scanned his memory for his spells. There was Deafening Blast, Cold Snap, Sun Strike, his trusty magic bolt and... And what? A sinking feeling appeared in Invoker's stomach. He couldn't remember a great number of his incantations.
A brief glance around revealed an array of arches on the horizon. Invoker set off in the direction of one of the arches in the hopes of jogging his memory. He could have summoned a mount, but he was never one for animals. While he walked, he mulled over Omni's words. His thoughts drifted back to Omnillium repeatedly. Was it possible for Invoker to restore his lost memory with this strange substance? After some time Invoker eventually came to one the arches. It was a portal, apparently formed of hewn stone. It intrigued Invoker so he reached out his hand, which disappeared into the portal, and then followed it into the portal.
