This thread is a place to collect the various creative works the Sage creates during his time in the Omniverse, be it stories, poetry, cartography, or what have you.
Since many of these works will be more related to the Sage's backstory world than to the Omniverse they may not always connect that much to the storyline in which they take place. As such, I'm putting them here to keep from unintentionally farming OM.
Pull up a seat by the fireplace!

The Earth's mightiest heroes sailed overhead, Doctor Octavius’s rockets being torn apart mid-air by superhuman strength, the might of the gods, and the unparalleled technical acumen of one Tony Stark. Like deities of old, they waged war against a many-legged foe deep within the Abyss.
Beck took no part in this. The more unfortunate half of the Avengers laid upon the grass, the humid heat of the Guatemalan Isle unheeded by their comatose forms. Captain America, the Perpetual Patriot, the soldier who had waged war against evil in two separate eras of history, was slumped next to two other exceptionally skilled Heroes. Who were they? He’d make a note to do his research later, their unpowered skillset would make them exceptionally easy to replicate for the next gag.
The Silver Sable stood before him, her disingenuously coloured clothing gently shifting in the breeze, every detail of the vista before Mysterio, the Magnificent, The Maestro of Mayhem, The Man Two Billion Dollars richer after recent events, her eyes locked on Spider-Man.
The Wallcrawler spoke, glimpsing out at the azure expanse of ocean before his beady, cretinous little eyes. “They’re out cold. What do we do now?”
The Great Mysterio was incredulous at this thought. “Do?” They’d done all they could. They’d freed the Avengers from Doc Ock’s control, and let them loose upon the precious toys the Sinister Six (Well, two now) had worked so hard to acquire over the previous months. They’d done their job, and now it was time for the glory boys to take over.
“Half the world is in danger. We don’t have a choice. If Thor, Hulk, and Iron Man fail, we need to find Octavius and shut him down at the source!” Spoke the sable, a glimmer of anger visible in her eyes as she glared at the Super-powered Showman.
Oh, get over yourself princess. It wasn’t like I actually burnt your precious country to the ground. It’s hardly my fault that thirty blocks of pyrotechnics, some heat lamps, and some method actors could convince you that your entire civilization was annihilated.
The voice modulators of his helmet activated, granting his voice a suitably melodramatic tone. “Why? The avengers are here. We don’t have to do a thing! They’ve got it covered.” It was logic as infallible as himself. The Avengers were Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, as they never failed to remind everyone, and it only stood to reason that they could handle it.
“Nice try Beck, but my spider-sense is ringing overtime. We don’t leave anything to chance. Now where is Ock’s base?” Came a barely suppressed snarl from Spidey. You’d almost think he held a grudge about framing him for… What was it now, fifty-seven different crimes?
Statuesque muscles rolled under his scaled suit, as he gestured with a finger atop a bracer-clad wrist towards the deceptively calm sea. “All right. Four miles out to sea and straight down. Can’t miss it.”
“And how exactly are we supposed to get out there?”
Jeez lady, keep this up and next time I might actually take a swing at razing your kingdom to the ground. All it would take would be a few key dignitaries shoved in a broom closet while I worked my magic…
But of course, that was a plan for another day. Right now, he had Two Billion Dollars and a world full of places to spend it to save. Throwing these fools a bone was the least he could do, if only so he could enjoy his pina colada in peace.
“My ride's parked inside the fake Mayan temple. Key’s in the ignition. Good luck.”
Speaking of lounging on the beach, it’s time to exit stage left. Smoke pellets tumbled from his right bracer, soundlessly detonating upon impact with the luscious green grass, sending up plumes of concealing fog laced with magnetically charged fibers, obscuring him from the omniscient technology on the field.
“Good luck? What’s that supposed to--”
Mysterio applied pressure to one of Spider-Man’s ever-present tracking ‘bugs’, its electrical innards crackling as it was forcibly deactivated. The world was in anarchy, and there was no way in hell any supervillain worth their weight in death rays wouldn’t seize the advantage.
“See you around, Webs.”
Long before you see me, I wage-
His leisurely stroll was quickly interrupted by the sudden upheaval of reality, his Adonis-like frame plummeting through emptiness, beginning a meteoric descent through the void.
Of all the days to leave the pocket parachute at home…
After what seemed like an eternity, the Dome-headed Desperado landed on empty air, the echo of his impact resounding through the featureless expanse. Beck quickly leapt to his feet more sluggishly than before, the alterations to his suit seemingly damaged in the fall. A quick check proved that miraculously, all of his bones and internal organs had escaped a similar fate.
“Where the hell am I…?”
Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”
Quentin span around, an eyeless porcelain-skinned being watching him, a manic grin spread across its otherwise featureless face. In one of its alabaster appendages, a limb that was at once titanic and as small as a child, it held a sphere of swirling iridescence, all the colours of the rainbow coming together in one solitary orb.
Quote:“This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.
A flick of this insufferable Omni’s wrist flung the ball towards Mysterio, his gloved hands reaching up to grasp at this penultimate power, only for it to dissolve upon contact, the slivers of shining pigment coalescing around him, slowly melding with and dissolving into his skin-tight suit. He could feel the strength coursing through him, every nerve within his body screaming praise and exultation at this Child-God’s gift, his heart hammering within his chiseled chest, every beat spreading the intoxicating substance through his veins.
Quote:“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn.
There was the stick to this gold-plated carrot. There are others. There always were, wasn’t there? It doesn’t matter whether you had created pyrotechnics so astounding there wasn’t even a word for them, or had discovered the perfect isolated volcano layer. There was always some upstart you needed to frame and blackmail into oblivion, or yet another aspiring Super-powered menace you needed to put in the ground.
But, to fear death?
He was Mysterio, of all people. He had taken the age-old technique of faking his own death, and elevated it to a damn art form. He was halfway into the next scheme before the shrapnel finally stilled, in Hoboken before the smoke cleared.
Quote:“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”
Mysterio clenched his fist, tatters of Omnillium fading into his skin as he levelled his opaque globe at his incomprehensible benefactor.
“See you never, big guy.”
He strode off into a widening portal, the shining light beyond it revealing a plane only marginally more substantial than his previous location.
He was Mysterio, Maestro of Mayhem, The Magnificent, the Man who was suddenly a whole damn reality richer.

This is Okor's alternate character.
Character name: Quentin Beck, more commonly known by his Alias of Mysterio
Character source: The Amazing Spider-Man
Character history: Quentin has led a life that has, unfortunately for many heroes, led him straight to the welcoming fold of Supervillainy. Born in Riverside, California, the youth had aspirations to become a Hollywood Actor, a dream fueled by the Camera gifted to him by an Uncle. Sadly, these hopes were never realized, Beck lacking the rugged good looks, patience, and talent to see his name illuminated by lights.
He instead became a special effects artist after a brief stint as a Stuntman, displaying a natural affinity for illusion and trickery. But of course, there is only so far one can go in show business while behind the scenes. In an attempt to further his fame, inspired by a joking aside that the quickest way to the top was to take down a costumed hero, Beck became Mysterio.
Forging a new persona, complete with an outfit equipped with every trick and tool of his trade, Beck set out to frame the famed Webhead, using his mastery over deception and illusion to commit numerous robberies while under the guise of Spider-Man. In time, his ruse was revealed due to an unfortunate tendency to monologue, revealing his sinister plot to Parker, unaware of the recording device on the Wallcrawler's person.
His scheme revealed and his name dragged through the dirt, Mysterio had no other option but to join the Rogue's Gallery, his near-magical brand of mayhem earning him Spidey's ire. Schemes, scams, and shady deals became his stock and trade, each one building up to the inevitable double/triple/quadruple cross. During his time as a Villain, so many demises had been falsified that his coffin was fitted with a revolving lid.
Omni took him from his home dimension after the Events of End of the Earth, when Mysterio betrayed the Sinister Six in the interest of survival, making use of his knowledge of their facilities and technology to help the Webslinger and his companions defeat the Armageddon-bent Doctor Octavius.
Physical Description: (originals only)

Mysterio is clad in a skintight suit, as is the fashion among the superpowered. Underneath its surface is a dizzying array of electronics used to manifest his illusions, with the controls located within his gauntlets. His head is concealed beneath a fish-bowl like helmet, its opaque surface hiding a frankly plain face. The Helmet also contains a voice modulator that grants him a voice impressive enough to play the part of a theatrical villain. His body is trim and toned, due to the athletic necessities of his calling. He frequently wears a regal purple cape, which is often used during his acts of misdirection.
Stats:
ATK: 2
DEF: 1
SPD: 2
TEC: 5
Starting Proficiencies: Ranged Proficiency (1000 OM), Ranged Materialize Proficiency (600 OM), Remote Control Proficiency (600 OM), Physical Strength (1000 OM)
Starting Powers: Stealth (1200 OM)
Starting Moves: Mirrors (600 OM, requires ranged, ranged materialize, remote control proficiency)
Mysterio is the undisputed maestro of illusion and deception. By spending 3 seconds of uninterrupted concentration, he may program a hologram with the aid of his gauntlets, storing a moving image that he can control from up to 25 meters away. Up to 3 images may be stored at a time. This image is nothing more than an image, and cannot physically interact with anything. The image cannot occupy a space greater than 5 Meters cubed. Mysterio must concentrate on controlling the image, and cannot engage directly in combat while doing so. Due to the careful control required, Mysterio cannot use the hologram as a disguise, as it would require a feat of synchronization that is currently beyond his powers. The drain from the illusions is not overly large, although he cannot manifest more than one illusion at once. It takes one second to generate an illusion, during which time any illusion not being actively maintained by Myserio breaks down and fades away over a period of 10 seconds, only displaying blatantly obvious failures during the final 3. A skilled observer can notice the deterioration earlier. Illusions last for as long as Mysterio is within range and can concentrate on controlling them. Any prime with a TEC equal to or higher than Mysterio's can see through the illusion, and enhanced senses allows them to double their TEC for such purposes, provided Mysterio does not posses Surpression.

There were no Green Lanterns that Hal could detect. Of course he was pretty certain he couldn't detect them even if they were here because the gauntlet was not connected to the Green Lantern's network. This was both a blessing and a curse in some ways. The blessing was that none of the other Lanterns were going to fall into the trap of the Omniverse or so he hoped anyway. Growling in irritation as he walked towards the Fountain because he didn't feel like making a single damn construct this time. To be honest he would have preferred his ring over the gauntlet because now he had to relearn how to make constructs entirely. Of course this was the point probably. Take a hero from their home and weaken them so they have to start over in a strange new dimension that they have no clue about. If Omni were a super villain he would be one of the worst. It was something that concerned Hal. Right now Omni just wanted to be amused by the various people he'd kidnapped and brought here against their will. Yes this world was going to need to get a Green Lantern Corps. With that in mind Hal picked up the pace towards the fountain.
Finally when he got there he sighed. "Forming a new Green Lantern Corps is not going to be an easy task by any means."

A pair of screams matching on a perfect fifth pierce the dew-moistened air in Camelot as myself and Ciamath emerge on the other side of the portal, barreling through with the bike. Somewhere along the way, we had both fallen off. Suddenly I feel the need to do something, anything to break our fall--
For a moment the world blurs around me. Suddenly I have my boots planted on the ground and Ciamath is hurtling through the air towards me. I don't even have a moment to ask myself how in the hell (and what in the hell) I just did before she collides with my stomach, sending us both flying backwards farther. I spend the next few seconds shouting and trying to run against the power of the Worst Bike in the History of Anything Ever. Fortunately, it works eventually.
"What was that about not being fast not too long ago?" Ciamath asks teasingly. It occurs to me that I'm carrying her bridal-style, and I can't help but wonder how I did that, either, what with my piddly physical strength and being tiny on top of that. I put her down as gently as possible, my arms and legs trembling in the process as I heave and huff.
“Well, at least we haven’t had a dull moment yet,” she chimes as she makes contact with the ground again. “I suppose it won’t take you too long to figure out where we’re going.”
At that I stop wallowing in anguish and exhaustion to look around. Like I had seen from the other side, around the gate here was a neat little arrangement of not very little stones. Inside and outside the ring was a number of flowers, some of which appear trampled by hooves and shoes and other things. Deciding one of the flowers looks particularly nice - a bright-petaled purplish flower which seemed to shift shades of purple from time to time - I jump up, slip it behind Ciamath’s ear and stick out my tongue playfully. I then resume looking about.
“Cute,” she remarks, and thanks to the peace and quiet, I can hear her fiddling with it. Birds are singing and flowers are blooming - I can’t imagine what more I could ask for from such a beautiful scene.
...Well, maybe a tire swing would be neat, but that’s beside the point.
Past it all I then notice something particularly interesting: what looks like some kind of tower off in the distance. “Oh. Are we headed that way? Looks kinda small,” I observe. “Probably tall, but really narrow…”
Ciamath laughs a little, and I turn to her, my expression puzzled. “You might need a better view. Here - climb up on my shoulders.” She crouches down, putting one knee on the ground. Reluctantly I do as she says, making sure to avoid her spear and wobbling a little as I rise into the air. “Woah, hey, keep it steady--”
I spend a few seconds just gawking in awe. I can see, off in the distance, what looks like a massive fortress of some kind. I can’t help but let a little woaaaaaah out because of just how incredible it looks - I can’t help but smile as I make the connection that it’s kind of like the layered cake equivalent of a castle. Around it I can see a number of scattered villages and sprawling farmlands and even a castle or two, but the ones that are all over are so easily dwarfed by the colossus towering over them.
“That’s Minas Tirith - home of some of the finest smiths I’ve ever met. More importantly,” she starts walking toward the massive fortification, “home of one Jamven Falconsflight. Whatever you want from him, if it can be forged, you’ll have it by the next sunrise.”
I can’t help but be a little awed. “Woah-- wait… I need money, don’t I? I, er, don’t really have any.”
“Omnilium,” she responds. “Either you can hand over some of that or you can will it to be made into Camelot’s currency. Gold tends to be rather widely accepted, in my experience, so if you can shape a little Omnilium into golden coins, that might be a good start.”
I decide to do as Ciamath says, holding out my hand over her head and shutting my eyes. Even through my eyelids I can see the rainbow-glowing blob of a substance amassing before me. Over the course of a few minutes, the bright light fades to a dim one, and a dim one to a nonexistent one as a weight grows in my hand.
I open my eyes. Minas Tirith is just that much closer, it seems, and obscuring it is a light brown sack with a golden drawstring pulled shut tightly. A greenish diamond-type gemstone is embedded in the bag at the front. Out of curiosity I gently pull the top of the bag open, and my eyes meet with a number of bright, golden quarter-sized coins. A big smile of discovery crosses my face and I pluck one of the coins out, examining it. On one face is the visage of a man I don’t recognize, and on the other side is a sort of insignia I don’t recognize either. Maybe I didn’t make the coins right, but I can’t even distinguish any features from it. “Uh, Ciamath? Did I make these right?” I offer one so she can see for herself.
After some thoughtful hums and hahs, she hands one back. “Surprisingly, yes. Even if they’re unacceptable, I’m sure Jamven can smelt them down and get some other use out of them.”
I let out a sigh of relief. “Just don’t lose those. Omnilium is incredibly valuable. To lose those coins is to waste potential.” Nodding (and shaking my whole body a little in the process), I slip the coin I had handed over back into my coinpurse, then look for somewhere to hang it. “Where should I put it…?”
“You may want to just hold onto it for now. If it’s in your hand, you’ll keep your mind on it, and that way you’re much less likely to lose it,” she explains. Since that sounds pretty reasonable, I nod again and grip the bag in my right hand by its drawstrings.
I carefully prop my chin up on the top of Ciamath’s head and look around. In all honesty, I have no idea why I’m still on her shoulders, but I kind of like the view - up here I can see little animals running about on the sides of the road, birds fluttering from tree to verdant tree… people rustling around in farmlands with maze-like crops, and…
...Off in the distance, a carriage stopped on the side of the road. I point it out to Ciamath. “Yes, carriages are common in Camelot,” she responds. “People who know the lay of the land can earn a good living helping people travel. It’s probably one of the safest ways to travel here, past having a personal Prime bodyguard.”
I look to the coinpurse in my hand and the nonexistent lightbulb lights up over my head again. “So how much would carriage fare to Minas Tirith cost from here, do you figure?”
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
“So you need a ride,” says the grizzled-looking man sitting on the front of the carriage. “I can give you one if you’ve got the coin, sure. Just tell me where you’re headed and get comfortable.”
I hop down from Ciamath’s shoulders, bracing for the rough landing. It’s not too rough - I can fall six feet and land without too much of a problem, I note - then point to Minas Tirith off in the distance. I then reach into my pouch, taking out about eight golden coins. “How’s this? We’re just heading that way - I’m sure you can figure out the rest.”
The man nods wisely, then gestures to the back of the carriage. It’s covered over by a tough-looking, thick black fabric of some kind, and it’s made out of a neat-looking dark wood. I walk over to one of the open sides, which from the looks of things I’d need to hop up to reach. As I rear up to do just that, I feel Ciamath's hands under my arms. I resist the urge to laugh at the odd sensation as I’m hoisted into the air and placed on the inside. “Up you go!”
That rings a bell. I’m not sure why, but it does.
Ciamath jumps up and into the carriage after me. I notice the interior’s rather empty - there’s a few empty barrels and boxes lying about, along with a few blankets and a pair of couches across from one another. If I had anything I needed to store, I’d probably make use of the boxes, but since I don’t have anything on me besides my coinpurse, I just take a seat. As I get comfortable, I wonder whether or not I should mention the feeling I just had, like what Ciamath had just said had some kind of significance, and how I would go about mentioning that.
I shut my eyes for a moment. It was such a simple, general thing that surely it could apply to anything. Why did I feel any attachment to it at all? Either it was a sentence I used frequently, a sentence I attached to something significant or it didn’t mean anything at all… and with how crazy I sound, just thinking about this, I’m thinking it’s probably that last one.
“Is something on your mind?” Ciamath inquires, and I open my eyes. She looks… concerned, if I had to describe her expression. The corners of her lips perk up. “If there’s something on your mind, I know I just met you, but you can talk to me.”
I relay what I was just thinking to her after a moment of thinking. Surely asking for her advice and getting nowhere would be better than never asking and risking not getting potentially useful help.
She, too, seems puzzled. “Perhaps… and you may take my word with a grain of salt,” she replies, “but I think… it may be an issue that you want to remember something, and it doesn’t matter what it is you remember in doing that - whether it is really something you remember or not doesn’t matter to you. Being without memory is a cruel fate, but filling your mind with vague or improper memories is a worse one.”
After a moment of silence, she concludes, “tread your path to recovery lightly, that’s my advice. Find what truly holds significance to you, even if that takes longer than you may like.” That… is actually pretty helpful, I think. Obviously I would’ve thought that I shouldn’t just assume everything that pops into my head means something, but I wouldn’t have put that kind of thought into it.
Well, maybe I ought to. I turn my attention to the pastures and fiefs passing our carriage by as we ride to Minas Tirith.

Captain Rogers watched as the Vision slowly crafted a small motorboat out of kaleidoscopic colors. They were standing on the shores of Costa del Sol. Vision had shared much of his understanding of the Omniverse, and Captain Rogers did his best to understand.
"So it's a bit like Battleworld."
"Precisely."
"And you say we automatically come back to life?"
"Yes."
The boat was finished, and its motor roared its greetings. The two Avengers climbed aboard. The boat, sensing the weight of its passengers, shot off the eastern shore. The super soldier scratched his chin.
"That's... strange."
"Not too strange," the Vision replied. He spoke with his usual calm tone, but with an amplified volume. "How many times have just you and I returned from death?"
The captain opened his mouth to protest, then closed it.
"Alright, last question," Captain Rogers shouted over the wind, "Where are we going?"
"Avengers Island."
The Captain turned to the android. "There are Avengers here?"
"There will be," the Vision offhandedly commented, "I've just bought a property upon which we shall assemble this world's Avengers."
"Oh." Captain Rogers stared into the distance. "Well, then we have a lot of work to do. We should recruit people. How should we do that?"

"I've just sent an advertisement to various popular social network websites in public Dataverse servers, and set them on a relay-"
"Vision," Rogers interrupted, "Remember who you're talking to."
The Vision nodded. "Indeed. To be brief, I put it everywhere on the Internet."
"Understood. Thank you."
Captain Rogers paused. "But if you're just forming the Avengers, won't this property be empty-"
The soldier fell silent as the island came into view. A large glass and steel tapestry shot skyward from the island, twiting at the top into a series of antennae. Near the top of the tower, a large titanium "A" was etched into a chrome ring. It was just like Stark Tower from his home world, except this was apparently built in a matter of minutes.
The Vision seemed to guess what the captain was thinking. "Omnilium," he commented, "is a highly useful material."
"Go figure," Captain Rogers muttered under his breath.
"Mr. Jarvis is waiting for us inside," the Vision noted, preparing to dock the boat at the base of the tower, "And we, in turn, will wait for our recruits."

On various places across the Dataverse, you may come across ads stating that Syntech Corporation has finally managed to locate their lost executive and his crew of primes. The video and audio isn't the best quality, and it seems as if Syntech is only able to receive data. They remain unable to get in touch with the group, but the various live feed (as well as what they're calling 'early episodes') gives them hope that they'll soon be able to remedy the situation.
In the meantime, interested parties can review previous installments of the feeds or track the current live feeds through Syntech's home page and other various video-streaming webpages. And all it costs is a small fee to cover equipment expenses! If you wish to donate additional omnilium to aid in rescue efforts, you may also do so through various crowd-funding pages or a formal donation at Syntech's official webpage.
Thank you for supporting us and these nobles primes in this harrowing time.

"Holy hell...Snart..." Mick says. "How did you get here...?"
"A certain scarlet speedster summoned me in his sleep." Cold responds, twirling his namesake weapon. "Who brought you here? Is the guy in red still running around?"
"The white guy dragged me into this...Omniverse...place." the ex-Rogue says. "Wait, did you say the Flash...Summoned you?"
"It's a thing Primes can do. In other words, the guys Omni dragged here, kicking and screaming can create life." Snart remarks.
"One has to wonder who the genius was that came up with that idea." the arsonist adds. "Also, you said the CPD..."
"Aren't exactly pushovers? Yes I did. I've heard a lot of talk of the Speedster returning to Coruscant, only to get kicked out later on over him doing what he does best. He hasn't been seen since." Leonard explains, walking closer to Mick. "They're certainly more equipped to handle people like us than they were back home."
"I guess that's a cause for concern." Mick responds. "How did you survive in Coruscant this long?"
"Had to sneak down to the lower tiers, where the law enforcement doesn't show up often. A disguise was involved." the Rogue leader continues. "Since then, I've laid low, tried not to grab their attention...'Borrowed' supplies from gangs to survive."
"I essentially slaughtered the Black Hat Gang. The building with the burnt-down door is where they were. There's a bottle of water in there, if you need it." the arsonist says, nodding towards the Black Hat building.
"You can just summon supplies. Diving in there and risking getting shot if Monelli's in the house is pointless." Snart states.
"If he is in there, he's probably dead, like just about anyone else in there." Mick says.
"Bravo, Mick. You've set everyone you met on fire since we last saw each other, didn't you?" Cold asks.
"Not on tier 1. Too many guys with guns in one place." the hot-headed Rogue responds.
"Yeah, a protip for you; don't mess with the Stormtroopers." his partner advises. "They aren't exactly the nicest people."
"So, what now?"
"Well, we can try to build up reputation amongst the gangs. I have a bit of street cred, but that only amounts to not getting shot immediately. I normally see employment up on tiers 4 and 5, though getting hired for something down here isn't entirely uncommon either."
"I guess that's a good idea..."
"We should head to tier 5. Less Stormtroopers to worry about, and some of my better jobs have come from there." Snart says. He points towards the elevator. "Let's go, Mick."
Snart starts walking towards the elevator, tucking the Cold Gun away inside his parka. Mick follows suit on both fronts, ready to get this done with.
