There were no Green Lanterns that Hal could detect. Of course he was pretty certain he couldn't detect them even if they were here because the gauntlet was not connected to the Green Lantern's network. This was both a blessing and a curse in some ways. The blessing was that none of the other Lanterns were going to fall into the trap of the Omniverse or so he hoped anyway. Growling in irritation as he walked towards the Fountain because he didn't feel like making a single damn construct this time. To be honest he would have preferred his ring over the gauntlet because now he had to relearn how to make constructs entirely. Of course this was the point probably. Take a hero from their home and weaken them so they have to start over in a strange new dimension that they have no clue about. If Omni were a super villain he would be one of the worst. It was something that concerned Hal. Right now Omni just wanted to be amused by the various people he'd kidnapped and brought here against their will. Yes this world was going to need to get a Green Lantern Corps. With that in mind Hal picked up the pace towards the fountain.
Finally when he got there he sighed. "Forming a new Green Lantern Corps is not going to be an easy task by any means."

"So which of the worlds should I choose to visit next?" The gates all looked like the same to Hal and he didn't want to somehow end up back in the Endless Dunes or on Coruscant. Coruscant had been too eager to get him there or at least that was how he had felt about it. The beauty of the crystalline fountain however was something that was not lost on Hal. It was quite lovely and something that Hal liked. Of course the architecture couldn't compare to the quality of a finely made jet. At times Hal wished he had never become a Green Lantern. But people needed him to be the Green Lantern. Even now he had to be the Green Lantern even if he didn't have a corps to back him up. Judging from what he'd seen the Endless Dunes was going to need some sort of civilization built there. That could be something he'd handle later. Presently he needed to discover what was going to be done by him next. There were likely multiple worlds that could be visited. But which one would he choose?
Hal honestly had no clue. "Hmm. The gates all look the same."

Irritated that the path ways to the various verses all looked the same and Hal didn't know which one was the best choice presently he concentrated and attempted to make his gauntlet create a simple construct of a sword. This was an epic fail for reasons that he didn't yet fathom and honestly it made Hal even more annoyed with himself. Why was the gauntlet not behaving like a power ring should? Sure the Gauntlet was the precursor to the power rings but it should have all the abilities of a Green Lantern Ring... right? The malfunctions it was having of not being able to reach ANYONE was bad enough and irritating enough that it made Hal rather uncomfortable presently. Of course this was probably because no other lanterns of his particular corps were anywhere nearby and thus couldn't be made to render any sort of assistance to him in this strange new world. Underneath the surface of his exterior an emotion that was like hot lava was boiling up inside of him. It was not will power, nor was it hope
It was RAGE. Hal was angry that someone had managed to disrupt the functions of the Gauntlet. Not only were the communications not working but he was also unable to make constructs for some odd reason. Even mundane constructs couldn't be made presently. The lack of the ability to make constructs was going to put his life in danger. But Hal knew he couldn't allow the anger to consume him. There in lied the path to villainy and the path of a Red Lantern. Still he needed to address this problem before he got even more lot here. What he needed was information about the various worlds out there so he could make an informed decision about where to go next.
"To recap... my gauntlet is not functioning like it should. I'm in a place I know nothing about. I lack any sort of supplies or information about the various 'gates' and am completely and totally lost."
The situation was less than ideal but Hal could make do.

There had to be somewhere that he could go in order to learn more about the various worlds. The desert one was a problem because it had a lot of problems. Part of the problem was the heat in the area. Temperature in the Endless Dunes was like someone had dipped him in a volcano repeatedly and that made him get overheated quickly. Places like that should be on the 'Avoid' list of Tourists. Given he was essentially a Tourist Hal was going to avoid such places in order to avoid trouble of any sort. Plus he had been unprepared for how hot the Endless Dunes had been. Because of that, Hal was reluctant to go exploring any more of the gates in case they had any sort of nasty surprises hidden within them. On the other hand though he couldn't remain here forever which meant he had to go explore the gates unfortunately.
Finally choosing one of the gates at random... the one that led to the Vasty Deep Hal headed in that direction. It took him roughly two hours to arrive but he flew all the way to the gate and went through it. Hopefully things would be less swelteringly hot where he was heading. In any case he needed some information about the various worlds and that meant he had to go explore each one of them. For that reason when he arrived at the portal, Hal jumped into it in order to see where it would actually take him.
