Colonel Adam Failzalot's Unnecessarily Polite and Illustrated Guide to Proper Postbit Formatting
So under your postbit (the section to the right with your name, avatar, and yadda ya), there's those two lines that say 'Profile Link' and 'Log Link', right above the one that says 'Linked Accounts' if you have an alt character or hub account. When properly formatted, these will point to the relevant threads. How does one go about formatting these fields properly? I'm glad you asked. Let Colonel Adam walk you through it.
On just about any page — in this particular example, the main page of the Omniverse — you'll find a few links up in the top left of the page. Right under the Welcome back message, which is itself located under the bar of links under the Omniverse banner.
Helpfully outlined in bright red here is the particular link you want, the User CP. Click on that, and you'll be taken to your User CP page, which should look something like this, more or less:
All kinds of information there. A basic overlook of your activity on the forum, and a bunch of other options. But for our purposes, namely, setting up your postbit, there's one thing in particular you need.
In the Menu section of your User CP, off to the left of the page, there's a bunch of options. The one we need here is 'Edit Profile'. It lets you do exactly what it says on the tin, and edit details of your profile, most of which show up, as it so happens, in the postbit/mini-profile next to your posts. Let's get to getting, and see what needs to be edited to get this under control.
Pictured above, more or less, is what you will see after clicking on 'Edit Profile'. Lots of options available here, but there's only two that we really need to concern ourselves with for the moment, and they are these two right here:
As you can see, they're mostly self-explanatory. You navigate to the thread you need to link to, and post just the the thread ID — that is, the number at the very end of the link, or directly after the 'tid=' part of the link, if you've navigated to a specific post or some such.
To use my own character as an example, because why not, the link to the Roster of the good ol' timelad, Adam Gaite, is as thus: http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=1457
Notice how in that link, the tid=1457 is the last part and makes it easy to grab. In this instance, I would just post the number 1457 in the text field for Roster.
HOWEVER. If I, say, navigated to that by another means, such as a link like this one: http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?...5#pid30115 which, incidentally, links directly to the third post in Adam’s Roster, his list of stats and moves and the like, things get different.
Notice how the link now ends in in ‘pid30115’, which is the specific post ID. And it’s listed twice, AND comes after the tid=1457 part that we need. Easy enough to spot, but be careful about such things.
The process for your purchase log is the same. Navigate to your Purchase Log, which, to use Adam’s again as an example, is right here: http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=1038
Once again, grab the part after the tid, in this instance 1038, and paste it into the text field in your user cp where it says Purchase Log.
And that’s all there is to it, folks. No excuse for not having it all set up properly, with it being so simple!

At some point during the ride, the burping of the engine and the jostling of the truck’s cabin lulled Hiro into something that you could almost consider sleep.
“This doesn’t look right.”
Karl’s voice and the sudden jolting of the vehicle to a stop was enough to pull the samurai back into the waking world. Pulling himself up so he could lean through the rear window of the truck, Hiro winced and wiped some sweat from his head before glancing out through the windshield. While there were some trees around them, the road they were on led to a beach that was dominated by a singular structure.
A large lighthouse made from white stone.
“Lighthouse?” Hiro groaned as he noted some consternation spread across counselor Karl’s features. “How many lighthouses does this island have?”
The producer, starting to scowl, removed the keys from the truck and pulled out a map from his shorts. He looked it over for a few moments before folding it back up and stuffing it back into the pocket. “This is the place, Mr. Protagonist, but I don’t recall a lighthouse.”
“Didn’t you build this place?”
Karl silently stared for a few moments before nodding his head. “Yes, of course.” The man leaned back and tapped his index finger against his temple for a few moments. “Then again, there’s a lot crammed in this tight little mind of mine, so maybe the details go jumbled.” The man chuckled as he turned and smiled at the samurai. “We’ll just have to get out and look for it.”
“For what? A bunker?” Hiro asked as he slowly made his way down to the tailgate.
“Yes,” Karl quipped as he offered a hand and proceeded to gingerly lower the man down onto his feet. “It’ll be underground. All of my islands have at least three of them.”
“…for?” Hiro inquired.
“The competitions,” the producer explained. “The bunkers allow a small crew to monitor various events to ensure that they go smoothly. If not, the bunkers all have various fail-safes to protect the integrity of the competition and the lives of the participants.”
“Aren’t you little games about murdering people?”
“Obviously,” Karl chuckled as he rested a hand on Hiro’s shoulder. “But they have to be murdered in a way that doesn’t violate the contract they sign when they register. We at Syntech have integrity, Mr. Protagonist.”
“Of course, of course,” Hiro stated sarcastically as the two started away from the truck. “So the bunker is our way out?”
“Yes. Unless there was some kind of seismic shift, we should be able to connect with headquarters and figure out some method to leave this island.”
***
From the ocean side of the lighthouse, a large vessel came streaming toward the old wooden docks built at the stone structure’s base. Finding some difficulty with steering the ship, Deadpool could only shrug as the yacht crashed through the pier and came to a rest in the sand along the beach. A quick glimpse through the windshield showed that they weren’t more than a few yards out of the water.
“Easy fix.” The mercenary muttered as he made his way out to the top deck of the yacht. One hop later, he was standing on part of what remained of the dock. Before making his way toward the lighthouse, he glanced back to make sure that the yacht hadn’t been penetrated by any of the wood.
Still a virgin.
Turning back toward the lighthouse, Deadpool smiled behind his mask as he sauntered toward the structure.

As the original shipping thread is buried who-knows-where, I decided to revive the thing for newer guys.
The rules are simple. Post a few ships between primes/secondaries/whatever, plus optional reasoning behind them, whether they are jokative or completely serious. You are allowed to use your own characters, as well.
To start us off, here's an obvious one. Omni x Guu. I mean come on.

Character Name: Dawn Snow(Not the same one as when I first joined)
Character Source: OC
Character history:
Dawnika is an orphan. Her mother died from hemorrhaging shortly after giving birth to her daughter. As for her father, he died when she was eight in a fire. The cause of the fire was not an accident. Apparently Dawn’s father had been making deals with people and couldn't hold to his end of the bargain. Dawn made it out alive, with scars of burning across her back and her legs.
Shortly after this event, Dawn was moved to an orphanage with nothing but the clothes on her back. She became deeply depressed and this made her a less than appealing choice for adoption. At age sixteen, she attempted to commit suicide. Unfortunately for her, she wasnt very good with knots. The caretaker forced her to see a psychiatrist after this. This really led nowhere though because she never spoke to him, and if she did, it would be random and completely off topic. She didn't care much for talking.
Now at the age of twenty and on her own, Dawnika works a decent job to keep herself alive. What happened next though would change her life forever. One day she woke up and there was a door in one of her walls that was never there. Where it came from or how totally eluded her. Naturally curious by this weird happening, Dawn opened the door. It swung open slowly for a second, but suddenly shot open and sucked the poor girl in. After it had taken it's victim, the door slammed shut behind her and faded into the wall. Disappearing from existence as if it was never there in the first place. This is when Dawn met Omni.
Character Appearance: Dawn is an average size young adult. 5’ 3” 130lb and a decent bust. Jet black hair looms over her back covering her shoulder blades, while deep blue eyes pierce through the blackness in front of her face. Most of the time she’s seen wearing a long sleeved shirt that is about 2 sizes too big for her, a skirt that reaches slightly past her knees, a pair of long socks, black snow boots, a pair of purple gloves and a gray beanie. Accompanied with the beanie is a set of headphones that never leave her person.
![[Image: JASMK6D.jpg]](http://i.imgur.com/JASMK6D.jpg)
Personality: While was known to be quite the downer growing up, the welcome of the Omniverse actually has brought her spirits up. She sees this world as a chance to do some good. Only ever mourning death of her father, she is now putting that behind her and trying to do what he would want her to do: Live.
Dawn is a pretty quiet girl. Nothing personal, she just never has anything to say. The few times she talks is normally to herself, or to answer a question directed at her. If you get her on a topic of music though, that's a rare exception to her shy behavior
Stats:
Strength: 2
Dawn seems to be slightly stronger than she should be for some reason. Not inhumanly strong but definately not average.
Defense: 1
She’s a human girl, she's about as tough as one.
Speed: 3
A good runner and fast reaction speed.
Technique: 4
Talented if nothing else. Dawn has good reflexes and posture when it comes to doing just about anything.
Starting proficiencies: Ranged(1000)
Starting powers: Basic Enhanced Senses(1400), Foresight(1500), Burst Movement(800)
Headphones - Enhanced Senses
A pair of gray headphones a blue trim. Dawn wears these during battle. While it seems weird that she would cripple herself by not being able to use her hearing to her advantage, while wearing the headphones, Dawn seems to have so much direct concentration that her ‘sixth sense’ is amplified. She feels presences of most people even when she can’t see or hear them.
Starting Move:
Epsilon Oriens(300) -Ranged
A well made bolt action .50 cal sniper rifle with a scope. The effective range of this rifle is about 750-1000m. If you let Dawn get that distance on you, you're probably already dead. The rifle is formed in a shadowy figure out of thin air, ready to use when needed. When it isn't being used, it fades away. It always looks like its made completely out shadows. The clip of this sniper rifle is 10 bullets per mag. Dawn is fast at reloading, so it only takes about two seconds for her to swap mags.
I have read the Rules of Conduct.
