Do you need Flight to slowly descend from a Super Jump or similar fall? Or could you work it as a move, like simple using your cape as a parachute, or using a glider?

It's a tabletop game somewhere between Call of Cthulhu and D&D in terms of difficulty. I'm just wondering if I could get some guys together to play a session sometime. I have the book, and we'd be playing via Skype or possibly D20, though it'd certainly work better via voice chat. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll give you the book.

The air rushed by as the winged horses bearing Samus and Harry winged their way towards Edinburgh. The city that the White Council inhabited. Rather, the city that housed the tunnels underneath Edinburgh. The ley line convergence would've allowed Harry to find it, eventually. After a lot of trial and error. Assuming that it still had a ley line convergence in the Omniverse. It was much better to get a ride from these soldiers, especially since the armored woman on the second mount was unconscious. The captain in front of Harry was stoic, and Cauthon was too busy keeping the unconscious Samus in the saddle. Harry didn't feel like breaking the silence. He kept casting nervous looks around, looking for the dragons that had flown away from the cave. He'd gathered a modicum of energy, but not enough to actually defend himself if either of those came after them.

Just a random discussion based on an idea of something I want to try in the future. Get two of us online at the same time and, for maybe an hour or so, just write really short posts back and forth. Maybe for when our characters are having a conversation or somesuch, which suits it. Could be fun. Would anyone wanna try it?

So, after the Rathalos event is over, Harry's going to be setting up his base underneath the abandoned city of Edinburgh. The ruins are in one of the mountains near Minas Tirith, with the castle partially built into the mountain. The city was summoned up by someone with a penchant for Scotland who got stuck in the Omniverse, and (not sure if I'm allowed to do that) served as a covert base for Diablo's forces before they were banished to the Underverse. Harry doesn't know that. He'll recognize the city and seek out one of the tunnel entrances, finding an unfinished tunnel project. He'll probably set up a ritual to finish them to something similar to the Hidden Halls from his own universe.

Does anyone want to interact with him at some point? Maybe they know about Edinburgh and want to use the city as a place to regroup after the Rathalos fight. If they weren't involved, maybe they meet him at the gate? Could be beneficial to get to know a Warden of the White Council. That, and Harry has no idea what's going on, so someone to explain things while he preps the ritual to summon the finished tunnels would be sweet.

For the base I purchased, once I make the story for Harry actually crafting it, can I have him utilize Omnilium in-character to cast a spell in order to shape the tunnels? It'd just be the spent OM from the base, being used in the creation of the base.

I know the rules state that to utilize my power up in a fight, it'll cost me 1 sp a post or 2 sp a round. My question is as to whether this cost transfers over to stories as well, seeing as I transformed and forgot to mention whether I was using it for a post or a round, though I suppose that's a moot point now. Heh...

Anyone played Banished? Just looked at it on steam and looks very interesting.

Just started playing Warlock: Master of the Arcane, though it seems a little unpolished I'll see if that scratches my itch for a good fantasy 4X. So far it's nice and challenging ... maybe too much so. I spent the first 40-so turns of my trial game warring an almost invincible giant elemental with my second city just being traded back and forth between me and the monsters. It seems a little better than Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes even though the latter got better reviews. I like em simple, Endless Space has been the only space 4X game I've fallen in love with and that stripped away a bunch of unnecessary stuff. Looking forward to Endless Legend.

Also looking forward to the Sims 4. I keep getting an urge to go back into 3, but it always gets boring after a while.
