One moment Komand’r, Queen of Tamaran was receiving a manicure, and then within a blink of an eye, shrouded in darkness.

The raven haired, orange-skinned woman awoke, finding herself in an environment, opposite to the previous one where she had encountered the omnipotent entity. Komand’r could easily distinguish the difference between a dream and reality, concluding that Omni was not a figment of her imagination. She remembered every word exchanged between them yet still couldn’t grasp the full extent of Omni’s reason for summoning her to his verse. Yes Komand’r was a ‘very important person’, everyone on planet Tamaran knew that, including those connected, or those that knew anything their race, therefore, in her opinion, ‘very important’ didn’t suffice as a credible reason. The Tamaran queen requested more answers but Omni refused had to give her the response she desired.

Komand’r rose to her feet, adjusting her platinum headband, which contained a ruby in the centre. Her right hand man Tyrand’r presented the one of a kind item to her upon her coronation. She could not afford to misplace a memento of that much value, especially amidst unfamiliar territory.

The ground was hard and as white as snow, matching the colour of the sky. There was no place like this, nor any place remotely similar on Tamaran.

Omni was for real.

Character history: Pandora used to be the kind of girl you wouldn’t look twice. A plain looking, boring human from the year 2014. For her whole life, she woke up in the morning to do what was expected of her. She never had dreams of her own, and her future was decided even before she was born, her parents had a very elaborated plan for her. She was going to be a successful medical doctor, continuing the family business, marry a rich guy and have kids.

She lived a miserable life, even thought she had everything to be happy, something deep in her kept saying that she didn’t belong there. She didn’t wanted to become a doctor, she barely knew who she was, and had no idea of what she wanted to be. Even so, she was about to finish her studies soon and become a doctor, ready to follow her parents steps. Everything in her life was already decided, she never thought she had a choice in life.

Now, on the Omniverse, Pandora will have her opportunity to change her life, to find and recreate herself, to do whatever her heart desires.

Pandora changes gradually her shape into any feline animal up to double or half her size. It takes only 2 seconds for her to put up ears and tail, another 3 seconds to grow her claws. The feline mouth and nose starts to appear after 10 seconds, and it takes a total of half minute until she is able to use its teeth. A full animal shape is only obtained after a whole minute. Pandora can move while changing, and can stop it at any time.

Bird Shape (Requires Physical and Illusory Shapeshifting) – 600 OM
Pandora changes gradually her shape into any flier animal up to double or half her size. It takes only 2 seconds for her to start changing her feet, another 3 seconds to grow her claws. The beak and feathers starts to appear after 10 seconds, and it takes a total of half minute until she is able to use it to attack, and starts to change her arms into wings. A full animal shape is only obtained after a whole minute. The bird shape is more complex than the feline, and growing wings is a painful process, so between the 30 and 60 seconds Pandora is incapable of moving, after the transformation she is able to use her wings only to glide.

Human Alteration (Requires Physical and Illusory Shapeshifting) – 300 OM
Allows Pandora to alter her body into any human she can think of. The time depends on how much and how complex is the change, it can take a couple of seconds for simple things, to a whole minute if is a full transformation.

They are like tremors: thoughts in the dark spanning onwards into an everlasting nothing. Sarah could feel it. All the deadness in the air, the stillness and emptiness within the vacuum of unconsciousness. She tried desperately to cry out and to focus – clear her mind – in case (this wasn’t a dream) she awoke disoriented and in the middle of hard place she did not want to be. Although as it happened, instead she blinked somewhere she did not expect. Somewhere she had never seen before, nor even heard whispers about in the minds of others. With that thought and in that moment it occurred to her, here it was quiet. Silent.

Even in sleep she could feel emotions, words and thoughts of others. Other creatures, beings, humanoid aliens and what have you. But here, nothing. The Dark and the Silence persisted and did not change in the least. Not for minutes, hours nor days? No, that didn’t seem right. Muddled and weary she attempted to open her eyes. Right then, she immediately wished she hadn’t. Everything became white and blank like some canvas upon which a painting would one day take shape. After a few seconds that as well faded and the Dark became prevalent once more. With a step, she tested the ground. Her leg quivered, perhaps from fatigue but currently she had no way of knowing. She strode forward again and again. The footsteps did not echo, but she hardly noticed.

Solid ground, the Ghost thought. Becoming still she lowered a hand, placing a palm flat on the surface while she knelt upon one knee. Again, she felt nothing. No psionic vibrations, no movement, no warmth, no light, no heat and no cold – as though a black-hole had swallowed up the entirety of the universe. A plain void in existence that certainly had not come up in the report. This can’t be possible. Intel indicated this world contained primitive life signs - architecture a murky habitat. Why is – wait . . . what is that? A shadow? That is what it seemed from so far away. Her hand filtered down pulling her psi-visor with it. Blank. It’s nothing. Reaching up she slid the screen up again locking it in place. But, there was something – someone. She could see them. On her feet again she walked.

The distance remained, but the Shadow grew. It grew and formed into a silhouette, a person that was not all there. However, at the same time dominated everything. The introduction boomed – not just aloud but in her mind as well. Please . . . listen not so loud! Sarah shouted in her mind pleading across the psionic field. No response nor any indication she had been heard at all, and still the voice spoke and bored its way into her. Suddenly the figure was before her and it shimmered, glimmering into existence in a flash. Blinking from one spot to the next and offering an extended hand where an orb rested floating perpetually.

Its colors dazzled her, and still she took it holding it up in her hands, cupping them together as though one hand could not sufficiently hold its breadth. That couldn’t be true. It hovered. But even without the touch of it, the pressure and power it put off shook her to the very core. It echoed into every receptor of her body; whispering sweet nothings into her mind – calling out to her. She nodded to Omni, not realizing at first the ramifications of the gesture. Thereafter the White eclipsed everything. For a long while that was all there was to every sense at her disposal.

But, after some time the trickling flow of water ran on and on. Without orders, and a cause she may have been lost. However, Sarah knew one thing well enough: how to survive. For the moment nothing else mattered. Everything else was expendable. I kill, she told herself. That constant was enough to keep her moving, stepping closer and closer to the sound of rushing water. It would not be long before the source became apparent. Up ahead rested a fountain and from it sprung water eternal. It had no visible source just forever formed over and over again. Her temples throbbed and she couldn’t think. At least today there were no voices – no thoughts of others she had to actively shield against reading. For a short while there would be freedom. Then though, something would break and click into place and she would have her new objectives.

For now, the Ghost sighed and sat resting against the Fountain in the vast White.She parted her legs slightly and interlocked one hand to an arm crossing them both atop and in front of herself.

Omni, she contemplated, just what – what are you . . . ? Omni had asked what she desired most, but in truth her wants and needs up until a few moments ago had never mattered. They unleashed me, and they didn’t care. I murdered for them and they didn’t care. But, they always gave me a direction. Where do I go from here? It had been awhile since she had felt much of anything, but now everything came flooding back. The loneliness, the fear, the pain and the regret. To all of the White she projected these feelings telepathically never once caring to dampening the radius. And there was hate too, a deep-rooted hatred for no apparent reason at all.

Character name: Sarah Louise Kerrigan (goes by Kerrigan or Ghost #24)

Character history: Born on Tarkossia, Sarah discovered at a young age the horrors of psionic power. Unable to control her surfacing abilities she unintentionally killed her mother and left her father a husk of his former-self, causing brain-damage that was beyond the repair of technology. Soon after the Confederates sent agents to claim her for their Ghost Program Initiative.

During her training that followed Lieutenant Rumm tried many times to convince her that right and wrong did not exist; that only the orders and the mission of the Confederacy matter. But, the youth resisted and would not reveal herself as a psionic to her superiors. Eventually she took the psi-evaluation, and quite literally broke the scale in every field. They had to restructure their entire psi-index to account for her scores.

After several refusals to demonstrate these dormant powers. Lieutenant Rumm finally had enough. Strapped to a chair in one room Sarah watched as Rumm threatened to inject her father with a tumor that would cause him to suffer terribly then die. To stop it all she had to do was serve the Confederacy. Again though, she refused saying she would destroy herself and her father before given up her soul.

Feeling that he no longer had any choice the Lieutenant implanted a neuro-adjuster which would weaken her psionics to the point where she would follow any order. A dangerous procedure that only had about a 50% chance of success. She survived and for the next several years was broken down through torture and trained to become an unfeeling killer.

At age 16 she and two other Ghost Operatives were tasked with Assassinating Angus Mengsk and his entire family, for reasons that are redacted, but presumed political choice of Mengsk declaring Koharl to be a free world independent of the Confederacy. Sarah personally killed Angus decapitating him and carrying his head along with her.

Sometime after on a routine Mission she never reported in, presumed MIA. In truth she had been snagged by a mischievous entity and thrown into his own universe to serve yet again, but this time as a form of entertainment.

(In short, taken from slightly after the Assassination of Angus Mengsk so she’s about 17ish.)
