What is your Bucket List for DA? This topic is for non-combat related things (we already have plenty topics devoted to whom we'd like to fight as is.) Who do you hope to meet in the pre-show? What items would you like to find? What storylines (that you can share) would you like to tell?

For me, I look forward to meeting Luffy before the show starts. It would be fun for him to play off Guu considering we're stretch siblings and all. ^^

A reunion with Gilgamesh or Doom Guy would be interesting, and maybe a little awkward even though I've made peace with those two. xD

Not sure what items I'd like to have. Though Guu with a gun is a hilarious visual image. Ooh! what if Guu got the master sword! That would be silly. xD

As for storylines, I think I'll keep that a secret for now. I like to surprise people. ^^

Starting Moves: Twin Blades of Azzinoth (300) - Illidan's primary hand-to-hand choice. These blades are common amongst demon hunters for their vicious offensive capabilites while still be used for limited defense. They are basically two half-cresent shaped blades, with small bucklers over the handle where the swords are connected.

Victor Wolfe could either be considered one of the luckiest or unluckiest men alive, true he had been transported to a strange and new world but Victor liked to look on the positive side. He did not have to suffer the fate that would have surely awaited him in his homeland as it was likely he would have been confused with the prince and thus tortured and publicly executed. And he did have knowledge of this world. The shadow being that summoned him even though he had not asked a single question due to being unable to even utter a word in his presence gave Victor all the information he needed to know for now.

"So according to what I would assume was the deity of this world, I am immortal, this place is a pretty sweet deal, all I need to do is keep Omni entertained and no matter how many times I get cut down, Impaled or crushed I will keep coming back !" Victor said with a chuckle.

Victor thought about one of the other things that was mentioned by Omni. Omnilium, a material so powerful that it can be used to fulfill dreams, he decided to put this idea to the test. Victor was fast and a capable technician but he had always felt that if he could muster a much more sudden burst of speed he could leave many opponents wide open and vulnerable for his more precise attacks. He thought about his desire and channelled some of his Omnilium into obtaining this new skill.

Victor felt like he had lost something and in its place gained new previously untapped potential. He decided to test this. he channelled all his thought into doing a quick burst forward and as if by pure instinct was thrust forward, it was a great feeling as due to him moving so fast for a split second it seemed like time itself was going slower. He was already thinking of ways this ability could be used to torment and kill any new opponents in this new land.

It was at this point that it hit Victor, he was not likely to be the only person that was summoned to this world and thus not the only person who could use this new way of gaining powers. If with the basic amount of Omnilium that he was given he could create an ability that was as useful as the speed bursts are to him then what could others who have been in this realm far longer than he has achieved?

"I may not be the most powerful killing machine around anymore. But this also presents new opportunities for one there is less harm in challenging people as even if they kill me I will rise again and can then work to become stronger and kill them in retaliation, I also feel something I have not felt in a long time. Anticipation! There are going to be so many people here who will be well worth the time and effort it will take to find them, introduce myself and then like any good gentleman carve open their throats with my trusty daggers, hmm who knows maybe for the first few I will just skip the formalities and get straight to the fun part."

As Victor laughed at his own ideas of how he would bring people to the brink of death only to push them over the edge he made another revelation about why he could come to love the world he is presently in.

"If I kill someone, no matter how brutally and sadistically I do it they will keep coming back again and again, this means that I can never run out of new vict.. I mean opponents to, fight and eventually kill. And for doing all of this I get a material that allows me to gain power most people would only dream about. This is a real second chance, now that I do not have to serve as a over titled body guard for a prince I can perfect my art in my own way, who knows maybe I will find people that I can share a common goal with, after all killing without a purpose is a good kick for shits and giggles, but when you have a reason for slicing your blade through the artery of someone, perhaps they are a rebel or a murderer themselves perhaps they looked at a noble the wrong way, whatever the reason having one makes that final hit all the more satisfying."

Now for a plan of action Wolfe decided that he would stay relatively central and scout out the gates he could make out on the horizon of this otherwise blank and empty area and after a while would decide what way set out, he would talk to people who approached him but keep his daggers close and an escape plan in mind incase things got ugly.

Description: A recent problem as of late is the influx of shapeshifter porn. People that could take on different forms, appear as celebrities and then make porn videos as them. Because of this, you could find nude pictures of anyone who as every gained recognition, and actually videos of celebrities having sex are common hot sellers.

One studio has featured Guu in one of their videos. They’ve been tracked down and their location is hidden in the Tangled. Considering they didn’t hesitate to feature a child in their works, that means no one is safe, especially the large underage population of Ambrosia.

You’re mission is to get to the studio and shut them down. The job must be done discreetly. The dataverse must not discover that Ambrosia was responsible for shutting down a porn studio; the backlash would only make things worse. Other than that, I don’t care how you do it as long as it’s done.

Quest Stipulation: Again, discretion is extremely important in this mission. It must be believable or the mission will count as a failure.

Hey Guu, because this is a meaningful quest I figured I might make a few notes (just on a few minor things as I continue with the quest such as I might include pictures of the characters Gildarts is up against) I will also ask questions about Ambrosia here or PM you.


A solo discussion thread? I know, but I wanted to not hog your entire box and because it is a quest I wanted it to have its own thread.

To start off, I wanted to just clarify the first couple of paragraphs in the thread are a bit of ‘update/ catch up’ sort of thing. They outline where he has been in the last few days of his Omniverse adventure, as well as give Gildarts himself a little time to reflect on how trapped he is. Normally I would go about this in a different way, but because Gildarts is a bit difficult to ‘review’ for and it is hard to get a charcter with his challenges to go about reflecting the past in a progressive way, I’ve done it this way. Not to mention DA is coming up there’s a bit of a crunch for where I wanted to fit in a vague sense of perspective (where he could think about Ambrosia as his home rather than longing for Fiore).

Because Gildarts essentially doesn’t know where the Porn place is, he might have a few foresty adventures along the way, but for the most part he’s clean and on task. #sidetracked

“Death is a Silent Song” Part 1 is how he manages to arrive there. There’s really not much that pertains directly to the quest’s confrontation in part one. It’s essentially recap and involvement of the blight. I like it that way though.

Part two is his encounter with the actual studio and potentially an all out raid will ensue.

Part three takes place in Coruscant, where Gildarts is sent to retrieve the ‘copied’ data file which the video was stored. He is on a crunch for time as he must get it back before it is uploaded (assumably the following day). He’s not alone as he gets help from an orphaned girl who was unknowingly working for the porn studio.

The last segment basically outlines how he must break into a vault like building, surpass security with minimal detection and do this within twenty-four hours.

Will he succeed or will he be compromised?


-> Anyone who is familiar with Fairy Tail, I’ve still not returned to Gildarts the memory that he has a daughter. He’s been caught up in adventures (for that reason) and I’m still brainstorming the idea of how to wedge it in, as well as how knowing this will change him. I don’t potentially see him bringing Cana to the Omniverse because he’s never been a strongly inclined as a father figure, nor would he want to exile her from her world.

So I hope to take a few suggestions before having him remember. (I don’t plan to incorporate it until after DA, notice for Ambrosia, Gildarts will probably plan to go back there and personally inform Guu about the Blight --See Email-- and then brainstorm the best way to stop it. Perhaps even be deployed into the Pale Moors with a party if it comes to that).

So far for Cana I really haven’t thought of anything that stands out, dreams, a hit to his thick skull, perilous defense of a helpless person. Acnologia himself I can appreciate as an encounter more than anything else, but I still don’t know how I’d go about that so soon on his Ominverse adventure.

Spoiler: In the future I’d also like to put a bounty on his head in Coruscant, but not at all connected to his jailbreak at Impel Down.

Not a scratch. The fact he survived a fight against a large wolf pack without even a scratch not only surprise Neal, it overwhelmed him. The thought arose the moment he awoke, comfortable in his makeshift bedding. The fact he slept so comfortably was unsettling, and at first it was hard to pinpoint why. To better understand, he slipped away from camp to find a sliver of solitude.

It was not hard to find, and soon enough Neal had nestled himself between two trees, just wide enough for him to spread his arms and touch each trunk with his elbow. Sat comfortably on the grass, Neal crossed his legs and closed his eyes. As he stares into the darkness behind his lids, his forced his mind to empty. He would ponder over each question as they came to him, as he had taught himself years ago.

The darkness and silence persevered for only a moment, then a question strong enough to break his concentration pierces into his peace. Why am I here? The question was simple, and at first the answer was just as such. Omni found me interesting. Simplicity died with the followup that railroaded the original question and answer. Why?

The question was infamous. Why? Why anything. Why did Omni find me interesting? ... He hated those questions, but they were always the most rewarding to answer. Because I wished for this. Neal began. The answer could have sufficed, but there were more answers flooding his mind, filling the space he tried to keep clear. I was different. My reaction in this situation seemed like it could be entertaining.

And what is my reaction? Again, Neal cleared his mind, focusing only on that one thought. That question was a big one. What affect did this world have on him. I like it. There was more. There was always more, but even in thought, he found it hard to express. It feels... like I belong here... like I was always meant to come here. Why?

I was never fit for reality. I was intelligent without being smart, and strong without being powerful. My skills amounted to nothing, and everything I liked fell ages ago. What replaced it, I could never understand. I lived mentally in a fantasy world. Now, I'm in one.

What should I do with this new life? How should I use this new power? That question was simple. Be a hero. For a moment, that statement lingered in his mind as all other answers and questions faded into the darkness and silence.

What about a new personal life? Family, friends? What about the old life? That last question broke Neal. A sudden flood of memory filled every corner of his mind. Neal remembered his family. Good people, so supportive. He'd been lucky to have his family, even though in his frustration with the world he sometimes forgot. His sister, his brothers. His folks and grandparents.

It was so hard to force it all away, to meditate on a straight answer. As the noise was dulled to static, disturbing the darkness only mildly, he finally approached the cluster of questions as best he could. They'll get along fine without me. They were always stronger than I was.

Reality bit at the darkness. He slowly became aware that wet streams trailed down his cheeks. Neal did not bother drying them. He had power and a new life, that did not make him instantly the symbol for manliness. He missed his parents and his siblings. It would have been more troubling if he didn't.

What now? For now, he willed away the onset of depression he felt rising in the pit of his stomach. Instead, he focused on the question. What would his next move be? Find civilization, get a lay of the land. And history, for that matter... current events... He had to mentally reconsider for a moment. Collect Intel.

And what of Lokarri? Silence rose, muddled only by blurred thoughts and mental mutterings. Lokarri is friendly. I'll try to keep his favor. And what of hostile primes?

Others with power and experience, the latter which Neal lacked, could pose a problem. He had not thought about that yet, but he knew it would be wise to consider. I will meditate on that later. The question was not so easily answered in one sitting. Unlike the others, the idea of hostile primes posed a morality question. Violence might not be an issue, but conclusion might. And when would he choose to confront another with closed fists? That question could not be answered when so many others were still lurking in the recesses of his mind.

What now? The question repeated, but the meaning was far different. Before, it was about his plans. This time, it felt more primal. What should he do immediately to prepare for what is to come? Now, a change of focus.. For the first time, he willed himself to breath.

As a former player of this, and a guy that has seen the boom of enjoyability of RPing your character after, I would suggest that if you are planning to run the Abyss...

-Don't buy anything. None of it will help you.(Unless you are doing it via current storyline.) The only reason I say this, is because ANYTHING can happen and you may get ideas that you want to roll with soon after DA.

*The only exception are power-ups and super moves.

I wont encourage you to get these. But these really are the only exceptions. You dont write the fights. You write the preshow of your character, and the aftermath.
