Retane's Suggestions - Retane - 05-06-2015
As a former player of this, and a guy that has seen the boom of enjoyability of RPing your character after, I would suggest that if you are planning to run the Abyss...
-Don't buy anything. None of it will help you.(Unless you are doing it via current storyline.) The only reason I say this, is because ANYTHING can happen and you may get ideas that you want to roll with soon after DA.
*The only exception are power-ups and super moves.
I wont encourage you to get these. But these really are the only exceptions. You dont write the fights. You write the preshow of your character, and the aftermath.

Actually, I'm going to encourage the exact opposite--spend your OM on Supers and Power-Ups. You can always sell them back for half the value if you happen not to like them.
Without and Supers or Power-Ups you'll basically be relying on your DA weapon. If you get a spork and run into someone that's on a writing roll you'll be left pretty hurt.
