[float=right] [/float]Appearance – 3’1” pink haired girl with black dull eyes. She wears a pink ankle length skirt with a yellow scarf wrapped around her chest. She usually doesn’t have fingers, instead sporting arm stubs. Her eyes become a red hue whenever she dons a more social face.
Personality – Guu talks in a near constant monotone. No matter what emotion she wants to convey, genuine or otherwise, will come off like she’s bored. She is sarcastic with those she doesn’t care for and manipulative when she needs to be.
However, to those she does care for, she’s usually quite loyal. Sure she won’t hold back in being a smartass with them from time to time, but she’ll stand by them if they’re in need. It’s clear she’d rather have more friends then enemies, especially after her powers were taken.
If she ever needs to milk some manipulation, she’ll alter her face to be more sociable: her voice becomes more expressive and sweet, her eyes wide and colored red, and she even has fingers when she’s like this.
Possible Reactions – Guu joined Dante’s Abyss to represent Ambrosia on the world Stage, possibly bringing more fame and fortune to her kingdom. She knows simply being there will accomplish this goal so she won’t take it all that seriously at first, but once she finally does, she’ll be dead set for the end game. She’ll aim to win and earn her title as Princess of Ambrosia.
Relationships –
Desco: Good friends, would probably team up.
Gildarts: Faction member and ally, would not willingly attack him unprovoked
Seraph: Familiar with, on friendly terms.
Doomguy: Online friend, on good terms.
Gilgamesh: Rival. Left on peaceful terms last time but would not hesitate to fight back if he strikes.
‘Combat’ Style – To compensate for her lack of defense, she’ll combine Master Acrobat, Malleability, Speed, and Technique to dodge incoming attacks. She often just keeps dodging and waiting for the perfect moment to strike her opponent. If she can get into stealth, she’s not above getting some sneaky stealth shots in.
However, if she can manipulate the opponent out of fighting her, she would. She also prefers to let others to do the fighting if she’s traveling with a group, preferring to give orders or just being support. She usually only takes the front lines when she really needs to.
If she’s ever injured, she can use Paper Cut (see below.)
Eligible Powers – Dissemble, Hive Mind, Malleability, Master Acrobat, Shapeshifting, Stealth, Suppression, Survival
Moves – Full list: <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://omniverse-rpg.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=1308#p21330">viewtopic.php?f=30&t=1308#p21330</a><!-- l -->
Fly Paper Skin Malleability
Guu can make her skin incredibly sticky. It requires focus in order to maintain, so it's impossible to use in a battle situation. However, it could allow Guu to walk on walls or even on the ceiling.
Limitation: She'll need to move at about a quarter of her regular speed if she hopes to be stealthy with this move, as taking steps make more noise than usual.
Paper Cut: Survival, Malleability, Shapeshifting
Whenever Guu gets injured, she can move injuries and replace body parts. She’s not healing herself mind you, simply moving the injury someplace where it’s less of an inconvenience. Like a cut along her arm would be moved to her back. She could even reconstruct bones through shapeshifting her tissue as long as the broken bone is moved somewhere else to heal.
Limitations: This takes 1-3 seconds to do depending on the severity of the injury. She must be standing still or walking at a snails pace while doing it as this ability requires focus.
Geometry Defense - Tier 1 Defensive Super Move Malleability, Shapeshifting, Hive Mind, Disassemble, Master Acrobat
Guu shifts her form into shapes that perfectly dodges the oncoming attack. No matter the shape or size of the attack, she can morph in a way that could dodge it. The more silly the shape, the better. This can be used to dodge super moves.
Spit Take - Tier 1 Offensive Super Move (800 OM) Ranged Proficiency, Stomach of Holding
Inspired by her fight with Gilgamesh, Guu summons from her stomach ten random weapons (battle axes and swords) and then launches them from her mouth in rapid succession at high velocities towards her opponent. Upon injuring the opponent or hitting the ground, they melt into pink goop and evaporate into nothing.
Extra – Adult Guu - Tier 1 Power-Up
![[Image: 3SN3TIu.png]](http://i.imgur.com/3SN3TIu.png)
In moments of crisis, Guu transforms into her more battle competent adult form; a 5'6" woman with knee length hair and dull red eyes. While this form specializes in close quarters combat, she still has access to all of Guu's abilities. Adult Guu is notably more expressive than her default and sometimes will show obvious signs of empathy, but elements of her trickster spirit still remains.

DEF: N/A
SPD: +1
TEC: +2
Spawn of the Elders - Tier 2 Power-Up
Normal Guu suddenly grows purple tentacles out of her back, which wiggle around and even attack sometimes. All light reflecting off her body dims as her eyes glow a blood red. From what could be seen through the mild shadow, her skin has become mostly translucent; her veins and muscles visible. Whenever she uses malleability, people close by could see her innards horrifically twisting and shifting around to compensate for the new form. This body is entirely cut off from what little emotions Guu has, instead focused on whatever target she wants destroyed. This is the form she takes when she doesn’t want to remember killing her opponent.

Do I need a move to wear a designed set of armor? I'm not looking to boost my defense stat. Only to have something that makes sense in combat. Can I describe and layout a set of armor that Trixie would wear in my roster without stepping on any toes? The moves page describes them as being things like tools, but this is more of an IC appearance thing since your stats are boosted in other ways. So instead of just boosting her DEF it'd be for appearances and flavor in fights, because she needs a place to store gear on her person as well as devices and gadgets.

There were many truths to the Multiverse. Energy is conserved, time is mutable, and entropy...
Entropy spares nothing.
And so it was that Nealaphh extinguished the spark of the star that gave life to the small planet of Vixi. Long had its inhabitants angered Nealaphh's master, and as such, Nealaphh had been assigned to mete out due punishment.
Perhaps such calamity on a grand scale would be scene as an utter atrocity, even among the gods, but this was not how the god-mind worked. Even as it lingered where the star of Vixi used to be, watching the once verdant planet slowly turn into a frozen world of death, Nealaphh would not pity the dying people of that world. They were still alive in the past, and they should, frankly, be glad that the Master had not decided to kill them then as well.
But as Nealaphh slowly pulled it's presence away from the dying star system, there was a sudden change. As if it had suddenly been torn from the known universe into some sort of...
Blackness. A void. This was something that Nealaphh was all too familiar with, but something was different this time. There was no connection; it could not feel the ebb and flow of the currents of space and time. It could not peer seemlessly into the future or the past. It did not know where it was. Nealaphh did not immediately panic; surely this was a simple trick played by some higher deity to keep Nealaphh from interfering with some grand scheme. The god-mind attempted to expand outwards into this black space, but found its essence confined to a finy, infinitesimal speck. That was new.
Nealaphh did not panic though.
Then there came an image of a human silouhette, mouth grinning widely. The figure introduced itself as Omni, and though Nealaphh tried to speak out with its mind, Omni evidently did not care to listen to Nealaphh's thoughts. Or...perhaps Nealaphh had no voice in this place? The prospect perplexed the god-mind. It listened in reluctant silence as Omni went on to explain the nature of the world that Nealaphh had been delivered into. The audacity was startling; the god-mind was not some mere spirit to be hefted between universes on a whim. Nealaphh attempted to lash out at this puny entity, but the more that it raged against the metaphysical properties that bound it, the more it found itself constrained.
Like a spider in a web...
The enigmatic Omni finished his soliloquy, and Nealaphh found itself falling from this dark space. Nealaphh felt itself being torn away from infinity, and isolated from the workings of the world. This could not be! Nealaphh was primordial! Nealaphh was fundamental! It could not be separated from that which made up its being! It was part of the universe!
...and yet, Nealaphh felt itself spiraling down into a concrete form. The nature of the darkness shifted. No longer was it the vast blackness of the void. This darkness was damp...organic. It was the darkness that came to shut, mortal eyes. Slowly the god-mind opened its glowing green orbs. The world around it was a startlingly bright, spotless white. Nealaphh tilted it's head downwards. Hands. Feet. Skin...black as the empty space from whence it came, but physical and weak nonetheless. A shadow of its former self.
Nealaphh was suddenly overcome with vertigo. The sensation of perceiving the world through such limited means was dizzying, as if a muffler had been placed over its entire perception. The shadow suddenly keeled over and fell to the stark, white ground. How did it use these...muscles? Long had Nealaphh assumed that it was omniscient, but never had it dared to attempt to comprehend living within the mortal coil. Nealaphh laid there for...hours? It was so hard to tell. Never before had the shadow held a concept of linear time. It's three green eyes stared listless into the distance, as its thoughts wandered back to the first encounter within this Omniverse.
...Omni. That being which had stripped Nealaphh of its sovereignty. It's very being. Cruelty and unfairness were not concepts that the god-mind was given to contemplating, but it did understand the concept of retaliation. Omni would be made to pay. Nealaphh would see to it that this Omniverse's overseer would be forced to comprehend this wretched state.
But how? Nealaphh had no idea what it was capable of even doing to achieve such vengeance. Slowly it turned its head to the right, and came to regard The Fountain of Infinity. It's form did not resemble a fountain in the classic sense. What it did look like, to Nealaphh was a quasar. Dark, violet gasses swirled in a massive vortex around a central point of brilliant luminance, brighter than even the pervasive white of this place. In all, the radius was almost one hundred feet, with a pillar of brilliant, glimmering plasma shooting up into infinite heights.
Nealaphh slowly pushed itself upright and back onto it's feet, with a slight stumble. With tentative steps, the shadow approached the rim of the accretion disk, hand outstretched in reverence. But then it paused, and pulled it's hand back. Who knew what this mortal form could or could not withstand? It had always had a hard time keeping track of how much abuse organic bodies could take before they gave in to their final energy state. So, Nealaphh contented itself to stare into the whirling beauty. For what else was there to do?
At some point, however, Nealaphh became dimly aware that it was not alone. The shadow, having come to achieve at least some basic motor control, turned slowly to regard these newcomers...

Appearance -
Personality - Neal can be described easily as a nerd. He enjoys videogames, anime, cartoons and live action movies or series of the sci-fi or fantasy variation. Due to this, he has advanced knowledge of many Primes through the information present in his home universe. This viewpoint has given him the idea that the Omniverse, and as an extension the Danteverse, are similar to videogames in that death is simply a loss of EXP. As such, he is more open to the idea of slaying other Primes in his journey to becoming a "top player." Outside of his nerdiness, Neal is deceptively well trained in self control. He can reign in his wild thoughts and emotions to achieve a heightened focus. On top of that, he is a natural in combat, as reflected by his high Tech.
Possible Reactions - Neal has come to win. Being killed contestants don't actually die, he would attempt to slay any he comes across as painlessly as possible. With his primary power stifled though, he may seek to create traps that will supposedly make the game easier, or take an altitude/distance advantage.
Relationships - Lokarri, Ally and first acquaintance in the Omniverse.
Combat Styles - Neal would prefer keeping at a range, so when confronted he'll always attempt to dodge and flee to a safe distance, and an altitude advantage if such is possible. Seeing as he has a "Gamer's mind" he'll seek to defeat anyone he comes across.
Eligible Powers - Insight, Telekinesis, Basic Superjump, Master Acrobat
Extra - Neal can be slightly sociopathic, and switch from very excitable to very calm when the need arises. Think "Fanboy" to "Shoulin Monk Zen" by taking a nice, deep breath.
Quotes -
"Game Over" - After a victory
"Game On" - Before a fight
"MORTAL KOMBAT" - Battle cry
"LEEEROOOY JEEENKINNNS!" - Battle cry
"Ninja Jump!" - When super jumping
"Headshot" - After a critical blow to the head, his own or otherwise
"Double Kill" - After a second consecutive kill
"Triple Kill" - After a third consecutive kill
"Killing Spree" - After a fourth consecutive kill
"Unstopable" - After a fifth consecutive kill
"Godlike" - After a sixth consecutive kill
"Flawless Victory" - A victory without taking direct damage
"I'll be back!" - Before death

Please note: Gildarts has two appendages (left arm, left leg) that are prosthetic and made out of steel (making them essentially battle friendly) these are covered by his dark cloak and I didn’t want them to be mistaken for something else. He also wears bandages around his abdomen and over his shoulder, peeking from behind these are scars from his many battles as well as his Fairy Tail emblem.
Personality –
In battle, Gildarts is an intense guy, even in a glance it almost seems as though his eyes greet your soul. But usually, he's laid-back and pretty oblivious to his surroundings unless they are useful to him. On a dime he can switch from leisurely to battle ready.
He isn’t one to back down from a challenge and takes pride in himself without feeling the necessity to talk down to others, or boast his own ability. He jives well with everyone (even people or villains with unaligned motives) and is quickly able to earn the respect of those who have great power and/or the courage enough to oppose him. That being said, he has one great weakness above all else.
Weakness: Beautiful women
Other notable vulnerabilities: Authority (his own leadership except when in battle) and occasionally his priorities can be too strong or misplaced. Lone-wolf mentality in most situations sometimes isolates him from a group.
Other Assets: Faith, willpower, sense of purpose. Gildarts, a veteran of battle, adapts to change quickly and tends to jump at the chance to protect others who cannot protect themselves and his charismatic behavior inspires others in times of strife. Gildarts fights better and more purposely when he has something to defend.
Possible Reactions – Gildarts is a noble guy and wouldn't like to see other characters ganging up on one weak one, so he might join to defend them. He likes battle because he can use his power freely, yet hates when people he cares about have been wronged or betrayed. Gildarts was tricked into joining the competition and will probably consider “boycotting” it for as long as possible, but that is not to say he will not fight for his life or a good time. (He’ll quickly warm up to the challenge).
When met with a respectable opponent, I could see where Gildarts might opt for a duel type battle.
Gildarts would respond to people he doesn't like by fighting fiercer and he would bring more action to the table. He always respects his opponent and quickly learns from their strategy.
Example - Gildarts has entered the competition after being told he will be taken out of the Omniverse and back to his home world where his daughter and entire guild are waiting to be rescued by him. Gildarts wouldn’t want to kill anyone unless it was an accident but if the challenge is stated (to the death) he would finish an enemy off because there would be no other choice.
As Gildarts becomes more active in the battle he will actually begin to enjoy testing his power out against powerful opponents.
Gildarts will want to win because he likes to be the best. He considers himself a champion and is committed to his training and reputation. He also will want a little revenge on Karl, Kindal, and Omni. Kindal for tricking him there, Karl for creating it in the first place, and Omni for being pulled from his world.
Relationships – Gildarts is a member of Guu's faction but does not know she is participating.
Side note: Erza would be recognized as they are both acquainted with one another from their home verse.
‘Combat’ Style – Gildarts is the type to defend his allies, however when he is up against an enemy he will match their fists with his own in a brawl to see which one is stronger.
When in battle, Gildarts hopes to outmatch his opponent by using sheer power to dominate them and favors his fists to do so. He isn't the type to be overly flamboyant if he doesn't have to be (example: he wouldn't kick through a tree trunk just to pick it up as a log and swing it at someone- thought if it benefited him he would attempt to make the duffle bag a swing weapon or improvise using his surroundings). On the other hand, he would put all of his strength into a single move because his strategy, formed by experience, surrounds the realistic idea that he will never know when he will be able to land another hit. Of course, this depends on whether the item he receives matches or can be used to match his usual style.
Eligible Powers – Basic Jump, Burst Movement, Insight, Stealth
Moves – Omitted moves.
[spoiler]Crash and Burn Cost: 800 OM (requires ranged/physical strength)
Tier 1 Super Move (Defensive: Crash and Disassembly Magic) - 2 SP
In this defensive Super Move, Gildarts has a powerful attack aimed towards him and it is propelling through the air. It seems as though it is inevitable that the massive energy will collide with him and he readies himself in an avid stance.
Gildarts extends a palm outward and releases his disassembly magic into what becomes a white ‘X’ in the face of the oncoming magic. (If it helps you to picture it, the X is like a shield or barrier.) As his netted white energy intercepts the attack aimed at Gildarts, his magic disperses through the oncoming magic that stagnates the attack before it becomes many cubes in the air and the attack is obliterated all together.
Drawbacks: Because this is a defensive move I didn’t want the major drawback to be speed or charge up time, after-all, if he doesn’t have time to deploy it it’s pointless. The massive drawback is aim and focus. Gildarts must stand entirely still. If he attempts to dodge another attack that is oncoming while he has actively released the defensive super move, the wave of energy will become disfigured and will not be an effective defense. The opponent’s move that has stagnated is converting into separating the magic and Gildarts is matching its power, suddenly he is unable to do so as his focus has been disrupted. With his concentration completely gone the opponent’s move will hit him head on and at the close distance there would be no time to run or dodge.
Another drawback is that the opponent’s intercepted magic does not loose its properties, so if it were a move with a debuff it could still potentially pose as a hazard to Gildarts.
Primary function: Defensive move that is usually used on an abiotic target and intentionally disrupts oncoming attacks. Please note that because this works similarly to a shield, it would respectively intercept multiple projectile beams if the targeted location was within the same area as the cast spell and the interception times were not too far apart (such as a rapid weapon) because the move stagnates to absorb and obliterate the power it has crossed with, it would include an attack with similarly aimed multiple projectiles.
Crushing Evil, Spreading the Truth: Empyrean (requires physical strength) Cost: 800 OM
Tier 1 Super move (Offensive: Crash Magic) - 2 SP
White energy released from his fist in an uppercut that has charged crash magic in it. The strength is powerful enough to send his enemy flying in a spiral upwards. The overall effect is a ‘defeated’ opponent who has been launched out of Gildarts’ sight.
Gildarts activates this move when the malice in his blood feels like ice. The Prime focuses his energy in his right fist (cannot be used by left prosthetic) and launches himself at the opponent. His fist finds its mark when the opponent has left his chin wide open and suddenly the enemy is launched into the air after feeling a weight strong enough to crush their jaw collide into their chin. The force that could shatter skulls instead the target’s body follows the momentum of his blow and is carried upward in a white spiral.
Drawbacks:
A Requirement before the move is deployed: Resolve. Gildarts must deem his adversary as evil (or an evil creature) and/or has seen them do something unforgivable. This drawback is flexible due to character interaction because it makes Gildarts the judge.
Another drawback is the charge up time of at least five seconds, this variable is necessary for his blow to land with finesse and launch effectively upward. Gildarts must also charge at the enemy head-on, putting him at risk for any oncoming attacks that he could dodge if he slanted his route. If it is not given enough time the energy will backfire and the momentum will carry Gildarts away from his enemy
*this is not a one hit KO move
T2 offensive super move
Crushing Evil, Spreading Truth: Ikazuchi
The Crash Magic user is at it again, this powerful spell is used on the most formidable of foes. Gildarts charges the power in his fist so that it visibly contorts with light, and launches it at his enemy. The fist is weighed with a heavy amount of magic, so much so that it crackles with static in the air around it.
Though Gildarts uses "Crash" magic, he is able to harness the raw destructive power of lightning as it streaks across the air with his very swing. The punch lands and is intended to create a powerful impact in the target, as well as send a ripple of crash magic through their body.
Drawbacks: aside from a charge up time of about ten seconds, Gildarts must focus on the enemy and land the blow on a somewhat flat surface for the full shock of the blow to be delivered. When Gildartts misses, it will take him twice as long to charge up again.
T1 Transformation
Rocks crumble and shake around this Crash Magic user, as Gildarts powers up and waves of energy surge through the air. White light surrounds his body as the rock beneath him begins to crack into large chunks. While in this power-up, Gildarts gains speed and agility, and utilizes them well during a battle.
ATK:+2
DEF:+1
SPD:+2
TEC: N/A[/spoiler]
I’ll include my supermoves here, but I plan on adding a transformation and another thing once it is approved.
<!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://omniverse-rpg.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=2041">viewtopic.php?f=30&t=2041</a><!-- l -->
Extra – He doesn't like to loose but in the same way he will probably do it honorably.
Cannon-wise Gildarts is sort of the 'finale' guy. Fights never seem to last long when he is around and usually end as quickly as they begin. He is not one to dawdle or stretch out the inevitable and I consider him pretty badass.
Gildarts doesn’t carry tools because his magic is more or less considered the ultimate weapon in his home world.
Before he gets “real” in a battle, he’ll throw off his cloak. (Like Piccolo?)
Quotes – "(Are you sure you want to fight me?) I'm no good at holding back."
"Fear is not evil. It tells you what your weakness is. And once you know your weakness you can become stronger as well as kinder." ©
“I hate going easy, whatever the task may be.” ©
“So you think killing is fun?” (Said incredulously)
"Bring it."

[float=right] [/float]
Personality – Ever read Tolkien? Specifically, the bit about wizards being subtle and quick to anger? Harry's got the last bit down, at least.
He usually keeps his temper in check, at least enough to keep from blowing things up and restrict himself to being an incorrigible smartass, but in a situation like this the anger is going to help him more than hinder him.
Deeper than that, though, he protects the people that matter to him. He's a little old-fashioned, mainly because of Ebenezar's example; chivalry is not dead with him, though he can ignore that when a woman decides to attack him or his friends.
Possible Reactions – Harry's here because of a grudge. Cindy backstabbing them got under his skin. More than that, the Mantle is eager for more power, and Harry doesn't think that's a bad idea. Helping Samus is also an important reason for him to be here. He'll try not to kill people, especially not with magic, but if he has to fight then holding back is a stupid idea.
Relationships – Samus: He considers her a friend, and his old-fashioned attitude means he'd likely try and protect her.
Ganondorf: He can't really bring himself to condemn the guy for using dark magic; he fought against the Rathalos and Rathian with them, and really, Harry calling someone on dark magic is just a pot calling a kettle black.
Protoman: Another ally, Harry thinks Blues is a formidable fighter, but also still a kid.
Mami Tomoe: At this point, firmly "enemy". He thinks she's a Seelie Fae, or a Faerie of Summer, who's out to get him.
Cindy: Here's how this is gonna go. Harry's going to find Cindy. Then he's going to immobilize her, figure out why in the hell she did what she did, and Samus gets to do whatever she wants with this backstabbing little tart.
‘Combat’ Style – Harry doesn't fight stupid; he tries to plan and he uses the environment to his advantage. That said, if he's caught by surprise, it's likely that his control will slip and the Knight's instincts will take over, and in that state he goes straight for the most direct kill possible, and does so with a surprising amount of strength.
Eligible Powers – Telekinesis
Moves – Defendarius: Since Harry is deprived of his shield bracelet and most of his foci, not to mention the ability to manifest offensive spells, this is going to be one of the biggest uses of magic he does. It's a shield spell that can cover his entire body.
Infriga: Harry doesn't use this much, but it's good for cover or to impede someone.
Pyrofuego (T1 Super): It's a really big fire blast. Harry's going to be at a slight disadvantage using this without his blasting rod, but he'll manage if he really needs to blow something up.
Winter Knight's Mantle (T1 Transformation): Harry doesn't particularly like drawing on Winter, but he has to do it quite a bit when he's going up against long odds.
Extra – So, the TL R on the Knight thing. Harry holds the Mantle of the Winter Knight, which is a supernatural force tied to the Unseelie Fae. Harry acts as the mortal representative of Winter. The Mantle has strong instincts that it takes a lot of effort for Harry to suppress; it's basically a blood-starved beast of some kind.
Quotes – Light a man on fire, and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he's warm for the rest of his life. Tao of Pratchett. I live by it."
"Wizards don't giggle. This is cackling."
"Fuck subtle."
“Laughter is good for you. Nine out of ten stand-up comedians recommend laughter in the face of intense stupidity.”
"Hell's Bells!"
"Stars and Stones!"

Given that the previous topic is now at 41 pages, and some of the early examples in that topic give a misleading representation of the level of detail we expect using the below checklist and the since-updated examples on the Moves page, I believe it is prudent to start a new topic.
Another helpful thread for moves is the Move Creation Workshop. Consider going there before trying to get your moves approved.
Please use the following guide from the Writing Moves section of the Moves Page when describing your move:
Quote:Don't just say "it's an energy ball". Say "it's a weak energy ball which can be used while moving". Let the reader know what it looks like, so they can write it out accurately. So "it's a weak, purple-hued energy ball which can be fired from the palm of the hand while moving". This is still pretty basic, but hopefully you get the idea. The more detail the better (though we don't necessarily need to know the story of how your character trained under robotic monks for twelve years to learn it; that's for your character history).
Here's an example list of things you should consider when writing a move. If you think one of these things is relevant to the move, and not obvious (we know swords can be used to swing and stab, and we know most guns can be shot while moving) then include the answer as part of your move description. It saves the staff a lot of time unnecessarily asking these same questions, and saves you from having to answer them.
• How powerful is it? Does it have a wide area of effect, or multiple projectiles? How big is the weapon? What size are the projectiles?
• *Is it instantaneous, or quick to use? Or is it slow?* (Almost instantaneous? A moment? Several seconds? Longer? Be specific.)
• Once activated, how fast does it travel? (Fast as a thrown ball or slower? Arrow? Bullet?)
• Is it difficult to aim? Must it be aimed at all?
• Can the user move around or do other things while using the move, or must they be stationary?
• Does the user have to keep their focus on the move, or is it 'fire and forget'?
• Does it have effects that linger after the user is no longer performing the move? If so, how long do they last?
• What does it look like? How is it performed? How does it feel to get hit with it?
• Is the move variable, or does it have a fixed method of use?
Additional Notes:
When describing how long effects linger we prefer to use literal timescales rather than "lasts x posts" or "lasts x rounds" because depending on writing style and word count, a single post might last thirty seconds in IC time, or several minutes.
When describing how powerful a move is, try not to use wording like "cuts through skin" or "breaks bones". This is because the damage of an attack may vary depending on your current transformed state, and your opponent's DEF stat in relation to your ATK. It's best to leave this somewhat vague.
Include which powers/proficiencies you think it needs and what price you think it merits (either 300 for a simple move or 600/900/1200 etc for variable moves).
To figure out what proficiencies you'll need to purchase a move, use this quick checklist:
Quote:Is it melee-based? If so, you'll need the Physical Strength proficiency.
Does it attack at range? If yes, you'll need the Ranged Proficiency.
Is the target area big enough to hit more than one target? Can it miss and still do damage from 'splash' damage? If yes, you'll need the Area Attack Proficiency.
Is it a shield which covers an entire person, or larger still? If so, you'll need the Area Shield Proficiency.
Can it be manually controlled by the user at range, like an appendage made out of an element? If yes, you'll need the Remote Control Proficiency.
Can it be manifested at range, like a wall of sand or a pillar of flame? If yes, you'll need the Ranged Materialize Proficiency.
Can it home in on an opponent without needing to be aimed? If yes, you'll need the Homing Proficiency.
Can it boost an ally's fighting abilities in some way? If yes, you'll need the Buff Proficiency.
Does it inflict lingering negative 'debuffs' on opponents, for example by slowing speed or interfering with their senses? If yes, you'll need the Debuff Proficiency.
The most moves you can get approved in advance is 5. This is so people don't just dump huge piles of moves to get priced and fixed up, creating lots of work for staff. If you want to get more moves approved, purchase some of the ones you already got approved. Staff may approve extra stuff for you, but have the right to refuse until you purchase moves.

I just finished my most recent mini-story to kinda 'shake the dust' off. It took a bit longer than anticipated due to frustration with myself for not meeting my own 'standards' of writing. I'm somewhat happy with parts of it but it could definitely be improved, I'm just not sure how. So, I was wondering if anyone had skimmed it and had any comments/criticism. Even if you've just read a post or two, I'd love you hear your input. With DA coming up I definitely need to hone my skills and get some confidence in my wordplay.
TL;DR: C&C?
Thanks!
