And Grown Ass Men Know How to Cook!
Here is a thread for all of you out there that know how to throw down in the kitchen! Post your recipes! (I will totally try them if they sound good!)
Here is one from me:
Mexican Lasagna
What you'll need:
2 pounds ground beef
2 bell peppers (Whatever colors you like)
1 onion
1 can of chili flavored beans
Jalapenos
2 cans of Mexican Stewed tomatoes(I prefere S&W Brand)
2 to 3 packets of your favorite taco seasoning
1 can of sliced black olives
Lots of shredded cheese. (Colby and Monterrey Jack I like)
2 cans of your favorite re fried beans
package of corn tortillas
Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and sour cream(Toppings)
Instructions:
1)Brown the ground beef in a pot on the stove with the bell peppers and the onion chopped up with it.
2) Drain the the beef
4) Add the stewed tomatoes (I take two knives and scissors cut the tomatoes because the chunks are too big, but you need stewed tomatoes because the flavor is the best.)
5)Add Taco seasoning, chili beans, and black olives(Save a few black olives for later) and let cook on medium to medium high.
6) Preheat the oven at 400, and in another pot warm up your re fried beans.
7) Take a casserole dish and spread vegetable grease on the bottom. (Not alot, just enough for a thin film of grease to cover it.)
8) layer the casserole dish to the top in this order: Corn tortillas-refried beans-meat sauce-cheese.
9)At the top end it with tortillas, cheese and sprinkle black olive slices with jalapeno slices on top
10) Bake in the oven for 30 minutes
11) Take it out and let it sit for 10 minutes
12) Use Sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, etc as toppings.
12) ENJOY MOTHER F*CKERS!

Lubbock's viridian eyes could do nothing but gaze up at the sadistic General, whose weapon was skewered through his throat. His eyes quivered in fear as he felt blood pooling in his throat. I... I c-can't die again... He denied his fate, but his body had escaped his control moments ago. Not a limb would move, and his eyes went rogue, forcing him to lay eyes upon his new nightmare... the cold steel left his throat, relinquishing the assassin and allowing him to fall to the snow, painting the alabaster ground with a coat of crimson... his vision became colourless as his mind faded... but one thing stood out as he spoke his parting words to Gin; a woman, with hair as white as the snow girting his dying body, stood behind the red haired boy and stared down at him, as if disappointed. A tear escape his eye as they began to ease shut, his last breath pushing into the scarlet snow.
Najenda... I failed again...
-----
Lubbock awoke with a start, gasping for air. A shaky hand grasped at his throat, finding no bleeding wound. The assassin released a sigh of relief, before taking a gander at his surroundings. Where was he? It was the first time he had properly died; in Dante's Abyss, he resurrected almost instantly in a room... but this was different. The world was black around him; a sure sign he wasn't in the Nexus. Maybe it was some kind of spirit realm...
The verdant haired assassin pulled himself up into a standing position and began strolling in a forwards direction in hopes something would happen. Alas, the space was vast, dark, and contained nothing but naught. Lubbock came to a halt, and his heart began to beat. What did Omni want him to do to escape the never ending abyss? His thoughts drifted to Syura... surely the cocky voice would assist him...
It was then that an obscure shape in the darkness began to form... but Lubbock could not describe it in the slightest. It was as if he recognised the shape, but was unable to form a word for it. It was something far from human, but also far from anything else... the figure consisted of no conventional shapes...
But the voice that emerged from the mass was awfully, and scarily, familiar.
"You died again, did you?" Syura inquired, laughing mockingly. "You surely are useless. No wonder Omni only took you from your team... he knew they'd be better off without you." He scorned the assassin, and Lubbock made a start.
"Like hell he did!" He shouted back, a scowl across his expression, and spreading across his body language. "I know those guys! They wouldn't ever ask for another one of us to leave!" His body began trembling and he clenched his fist, staring down at it. "I... I just know they wouldn't..."
"Then why were you brought to the Omniverse and none of the others were?" Syura mused over the question, still mocking the boy in green. In rage and without uttering a word, Lubbock lunged at the echoing mass, only to have an ice cold palm meet his knuckles. A female voice replaced Syura's. "Because you were weak. They knew you would only hinder them, and end with them all being slain." Esdeath's voice continued to tear a hole in his heart. "Either way, they were all slain... One. By. One." She teased, pushing the assassin back.
"No... Night Raid... They're stronger than you! I know they are! Akame would have kicked your ass into next week!" Lubbock retorted, saliva now flinging from his mouth in his fit of anger. "And Najenda... She has the whole Revolutionary Army at her back... There's no way-" He began to deny the General further, but was cut off by a sharp slap to the face.
"Your so-called 'army' was entirely massacred during a large-scale raid. Those worthless specimens were no match for the Jaegers and their troops." She informed Lubbock sadistically, before licking her lips. "And speaking of Najenda... I left the love of your life for last. I thoroughly enjoyed making her scream... I only wish you were there." Esdeath taunted, laughing maniacally at this rate.
Lubbock dropped to the pitch black floor, covering his head with his arms, but to no avail; the piercing cackle would not stop, and the assassin began grinding his teeth.
No... This couldn't have happened... She's lying... No... No... No... No...

Quote:Continued from Grave's death in the Secondary Saga
Alice tore through the chilly night air, her large, leathery wings beating against gravity as her own fatigue threatened to pull her down like a riptide... no, like the Swamp of Sorrow had taken José from her. The vampire shook the thought from her head and she bared her fangs at the darkened world around her in a fruitless attempt to frighten her fears... That's stupid, she scolded herself, eliciting a whimper at both her own imbecility and the nipping wind her stocky, furry body speared through. The motion wasn't as graceful as Alice could have hoped, though; both her swarming emotions and the pain of beating her already exhausted wings frequently threw her balance off, several times dropping her more than a couple of feet through the air, but she only pushed on, fueled by willpower and willpower alone.
José... You were right there... Right within my reach... You finally remembered me... A-and then... And then... Alice struggled to force the words into her mind. This world... This cruel, unrelenting place... Ripped you from me again... A trigger, the final thought was. In the middle of the sky, far from the proverbial headstone of her husband, her muscles lost all life, releasing all force at once, and the young vampire plummeted through the night sky, crashing like a meteor towards the canopy of trees...
I will get you back, José, I swear on my grave.
NO!
Alice's body kicked back into action and her immense limbs forced the wind to Earth, sweeping the jungle floor of loose foliage and whipping it into the air, as if spun into a tornado. A new glint filled her black, beady eyes; sheer determination. A new spark had ignited within her, and fueled every muscle, bone and organ in her bat body, feeding her like coal to a furnace. She was going to make it out. She was going to get José back. She was going to find who threw them into such a cruel world in the first place.
Omni had started the entire mess. If she couldn't finish what José had started... She was at least going to provide the stepping stones for José to continued where he left off. She was going to find answers... She would explore every verse, every single nook and cranny until she could bring José back from the grave, and she would not rest until she did. That night...
Alice found her purpose within the Omniverse

“Are you out of your mind, Ozpin!”
Yang hadn’t found a voice pitch below “yelling at the top of her lungs”, since Ozpin first cancelled team RWBY’s mission today. Weiss couldn’t blame her. She’d never felt even a fraction of the anger she felt right now.
“I am merely making sure that, after wasting the life of one brave huntress in my own walls, I don’t waste the lives of three more in an attempt to find her.”
“She’s not dead! There’s no sign or evidence of a struggle, ozpin. The case is still open.”
Blake had managed to keep her cool far better than Yang, but one look at her face - and her prominently displayed fangs - made it clear that she was hanging onto reason by a thread.
“And she’s been missing for three months. She may still be alive - I will grant that a possibility exists - but it isn’t high, Blake. I know none of you here want to hear this - I would likely be no calmer in your positions - This hunt has become a draw on our limited budget, and on the time of three of the most skilled huntresses in beacon.”
Yang had had enough. In an instant, she charged forward, grabbing the Beacon headmaster by his shirt and lifting him off the ground like he weighed nothing.
“Are you telling me I should go ahead and [i]Give up on my baby sister |

"Anyways, what was I thinking about? Oh yeah, How long did it take these guys to make this damn festival? Looks like it took a crap ton of work," Ballad rants to himself as he continues to stroll through the Colosseum Carnival. It had only been a few minutes since he had signed up for the Prime Tournaments, and he was still wondering about his decision processing and whether or not he fucked up somewhere in the logic. I mean, seriously? Basing your success chances off a list of more than ten from three people? All with more or less different looks to them? Give me a break.
"Hardly matters now, I suppose. I bet I can't just write myself off the list now, considering my death isn't really much of a concern to those guys. I guess to make the best of it Ill just... walk around, see who else is here." Ballad was still not very thrilled of the fact that he would have to be going around and actually talk to people. The reasons why are... rather complicated, or at least that's what Ballad constantly reminds himself and others. In reality, however, he had never a actually given real answers. Whatever they happened to be, it was a secret only known to him.
Taking a deep breath, Ballad continues to stroll through the streets of the Carnival. Again, he was still rather impressed by the spectacle here, even if the actual social element he wasn't fond of. To his left and right were giant, striped stands of various color. Some sold food, others sold games, even though most were obviously rigged so they could steak your money after selling out a false hope that you COULD beat them. Occasionally, though, Ballad managed to come across some other, more noteworthy stands.
One in particular was an interesting one. It was easily noticeable from a distance, if not because it was surrounded by lines and lines of people. Curious, Ballad walked on up to the back of one of the lands, taking a peek at what was going on. The sign above the stand, hanging over everyone's heads composed of a crossbow with words saying "Bag 'Em and Tag 'Em." As he got closer, he could hear a man's voice shouting enthusiastically, almost theatrically, over the crowd of people surrounding the stand. It wasn't until Ballad was nearing the front could he get full clarity as to what was going down.
"Step right up, folks, for the hardest, most challenging, yet most rewarding shooting game ever experienced by mortal men," shouted the runner of the stand. He was clad in what appeared to be typical hunter garb, though Ballad swore he saw traces of red, dried up marks on his clothing reminiscent of blood, "Try and seed if you can best it! Best it, and you'll win a prize great esteemed!" Ballad stared at what was going down within the stand. He didn't exactly understand why the guy was acting all theatrical, especially since his motiff for the shooting gallery was... rather macabre. He didn't know what was called "good taste" in this land, but if part of it is from bloody spikes on the side, skulls with red eyes, and targets that squirt out blood whenever you hit them, then maybe this place isn't so friendly after all.
"Hey, you sir!" Ballad looked towards the source of the noise. It was the runner himself. "You look like you know your stuff about shooting. Why don't we say you teach these goons here a lesson in accuracy?" Ballad paused, moving his left hand up to his hat to rub it as he looks around. The runner of the stand was certainly good at getting people's attention onto others, seeing as at least four dozen people were silently pressuring him forward. At first, Ballad didn't want to, as he was certain he would be helping a flawed system continue. But he would relent. Ah fuck it. If I turned around every time a crazy dude with a gun walked up to me and proceeded to start shouting then.... well I'd probably kill him, but killing this guy in public isn't very smart.
Silently walking forward, the runner of the stand proceeds to clap his hands, followed by the crowd surrounding him as he shouts "Good, good! All you need to do is hit the targets. You only have three shots, miss any and you won't win! For maximum enjoyment, I can either give you a ranged weapon with an additional fee, or use one already provided to you!" Eyes widening, he looks down towards his waist, his left hand slowly parting his coat. After taking one last glance around, he moves his right hand to the handle of his revolver, pulling it out of his holster.
The runner of the stand wisely moves to the aide, out of harm's way. The crowd holds their breath, wanting to see where this goes. Ballad remains silent, inspecting the targets from his position at the stand. They resembled... heads, of some sort, and they were hardly big enough to be anything more than human skills. Sick bastards, the ones that endorse this crap. Whatever, let's just beat this and leave.
Adjusting his aim, he points his revolver towards the leftmost skull, pulling the trigger after cocking the hammer. A loud gunshot, followed by a flash of light from the barrel, and the skull exploded into a red mist. The crowd cheered; some clapped. Two more remaining. Moving his revolver to the right, he aims at the middle skull, cocks the hammer, pulls the trigger. Skull explodes. The crowd holds their breath. He might actually do it.
Moving his revolver to the right, he aims at the last skull. It is here when Ballad sees how rigged the whole thing was. As he fires, the bullet somehow enlodges itself into the wooden stool it was standing on. Shocked, he lowers his revolver, certain he had the thing in his sights. The crowd behind him lets out a disappointed groan. The runner of the stand walks up to Ballad, sighing as he sadly says "Damn... thought for sure you had it in you. Anyways... five gold pieces."
Ballad let out a sigh, moving to allow the next stupid sap to play this bullshit game. Holding his left hand, he summoned up five gold pieces after three minutes, handed them to the runner, and proceeded to walk away from the stand.

Karkat was enjoying himself. He wouldn't ever admit it to Gamzee, or anyone else for that matter, but he was certainly having a blast. Flying through the white expanse of the Nexus, he felt a strange sense of infinity. It was strange; the only thing that let him know he was making any progress across the verse was the fountain and the equidistant gates. From reading that primordial guy's link in Jade's memo, the troll had deduced that the portal to the frozen expanse that was apparently now Jade's home was to the south of the Fountain.
This Adam guy, Jesus man. Karkat would call him an insufferable little prick, but then again, he knows full well he did not have a single metric unit of space to talk. All things considering, Gamzee seems pretty hell bent on impressing this Guu chick. The troll had never seen his friend so fired up about something in a long time. Could it be...? No. Hell no. Gamzee just simply isn't the type. All this inter-species shipping is going to give the young alien a headache.
The crabby alien smacks his lips together.
Hm. He's a little parched.
Still keeping an eye on where he's flying, pilot of the Elixirizer cautiously shifts his eyes to the right. There was a bendy tube that was feeding straight into the misters spreading the miracles across the land. Tentatively, the mutant-blood maneuvers his lips just so, taking the tube into his mouth. Cautiously, with a mortified expression, he sucks the makeshift straw.
A fruity rumpus party takes place in the teen's mouth. The taste was almost strong enough to make him gag and fly straight into the ground, exploding in a brilliant display of miracles. Alas, he regains his composure. That fucking straw combined all of the flavors into one tube!
That disgusting Juggalo fuck.
Karkat jets over the Fountain of Infinity, spraying fruity elixir all over any and all primes that have gathered round, fulfilling Gamzee's dream of a Troll Santa Clause. The Not-So-Jolly impostor veers off to the south, straight for the Frozen Fields Gate.
After another half hour of flying or so, the cherry-blood shoots through the portal, a trail of rainbow mist behind him.
-----
Not long after Karkat disappears into the snowy expanse, Gamzee and Adam spider-thrust into the blindingly white Nexus.
Aside from the shaky start, Gamzee smiles at his progress.
"Hey! Hey Adam! Bro! I found directions from a dude!"
The High-Blood was pretty amazed with the contraption that Adam managed to conjure up. All them legs movin' around and stuff were pretty tricksying or whatevs, but there were more pressing things at present moment.
"Oh, uh, for real? Cool I guess. Which one is the Camelot Gate?"
Gamzee points to a gate in the distance. "That one. That egregari-whatsit said it was east of that Miracle Fountain."
The spidercraft comes to a shuddering halt so fast the clown tumbling out of the vehicle, over the hood, and plummeting straight to the white 'floor' of the Nexus.
"Whazat?! What?"
Adam has a weird twitchy thing goin' on. Motherfucker is just like, staring blankly at the bells, whistles, and levers of the spider.
"Show me the Pesterlog."
"Wh-"
"Gamzee, show me the motherfucking messages."
The juggalo pulls out his phone so fast he almost tosses it out of the aircraft. With a surprised, slightly worried look, he hands his huskphone to Adam.
Quote:Gamzee and Erik's Pesterlog
About halfway through reading the conversation, Gamzee's new best human friend is visibly shaking, biting his lip nervously. He doesn't know why he's so freaked out. It's just a message. Its just a pesterlog. When he's finished reading, he hands the phone back to his traveling companion.
"Uh..."
Fucking. Erik.
"Don't even ask."
Adam felt this distinct, troubling urge to get as far away from this current location as possible. This fucking clown might have just invited an invasion in personal space. Like, a major invasion. Without another word, the Heir of Time fires the thrusters up again. Time to get going.

The mercenary passed through the gate on his bike, speeding across the white abyss for the third time since his arrival. He assumed Gin would be heading to the Fountain so he could yell at Lubbock or something, so that was Alain's first stop. It had already been about half an hour since the dragon's death, so the mercenary's mood had went from "energetic" to "sedated" by the time he was back in the Nexus.
It wasn't too long, at most six minutes, until he saw Gin again, on whatever species of bird he had for a pet. Alain sped past him again, and grinned to himself, but still didn't wave. Crashing and getting a concussion wasn't on his to-do list. He briefly wondered whether or not he should've taken the time to summon a helmet, but considering the lack of objects or people, he'd have to be trying to crash.
The mercenary came to a stop upon seeing one of few existing things in the Nexus; the Fountain. Neither Mami nor Lubbock were there, so they either hadn't resurrected or had already moved on. He didn't know or particularly care which. He didn't know about Mami, but Lubbock had conjured a phone, and if he wasn't mistaken, it had access to the dataverse like his. Alain took his own phone out and took another look through the Dataverse as he waited for Gin.
After a few minutes, he was fairly convinced he'd got all of the new information. For starters, more people wanted Primes dead. Though from the descriptions, Omni evidently didn't care about who he brought in. Dragon-people, spider-men, space marines, ninjas, and eldritch, living shadows. Elsewhere, there was apparently a tournament going on in one of the other verses called Camelot, and the aforementioned living shadow was leading a cult, or something. Alain stopped reading about the latter very quickly, as that sort of thing in his world typically led to mass brainwashing. Whether or not it'd work here, he wasn't sure, but better safe than sorry.
The mercenary eventually concluded that the tournament sounded like fun, and he'd at least spectate. Besides, the more information he had on the various Primes in the Omniverse, the better, and this was a perfect excuse for some scouting. But first came informing his new allies as to where he went. Alain sent short messages, just informing them as to how their fight ended, the tournament's existence and how he might be competing there for fun, and also mentioning the possible existence of the Void gates.
Sure enough, as he'd finished sending them, Gin and his bird-thing ran up. Alain utterly refused to ask what the actual name of it was.
"Showoff." Gin said, though he didn't look that annoyed. Also seemed to have calmed down a bit. Alain shrugged. "Hey, I had some stuff to check out. Anyway, it doesn't seem like the other two are back yet. Or they already ran off, I'm not sure. Either way, I sent them some messages through this-" He raised his hand, still holding his phone, before putting it back in his pocket. "-and I've got a good idea as to where I'm going next. Apparently, there's a tournament going on in Camelot's Colosseum. You comin'?"
Gin shook his head. "Colosseum? Been there already, competed in a tournament, then went to Dante's Abyss. No thanks. Gonna explore some more before revisiting places."
Alain yawned. "Suit yourself. You should get one of the dataverse devices, they come in handy. Well, see you later, I guess."
"See ya." Gin said, turning back to the fountain as the mercenary drove off again, this time to the east.
The mercenary had nothing interesting happen on his journey. Of course, what people find interesting varies from person to person, but Alain most certainly did not find driving through a world of nothing but pure white interesting. He couldn't help but feel relieved when he saw the stone gate of Camelot, and he wasted no time in riding through to the world beyond.
