So out of a thought experiment I decided to calculate how much force/weight Ururu's clawed gloves can exert (4,422.7 pounds of force per claw, calculated based on the mass of tungsten involved, and the average speed of a bullet). This made me think that Ururu could use the recoil to the advantage in very specific situations when she's not bracing against the force or in mid-air.
Minato mentioned this would be considered an likely not applicable (in need of consultation) since it its not mentioned in the move, yet in inherently is since the speed the weapons travel and the materials its made of are listed.
Another thought puzzle. Jane has the ability to flood entire areas and freeze water. She's trapped someone in an area where her water can't reach it as a liquid but if she freezes the water, Well expansion of ice has been known to a lot of damage to well everything. Would crushing an opponent from crystallization of ice be considered an exploit as well? Its basic physics that's inherent to the material.
Where do you draw the line? Rule of thumbs anyone uses? So along that vein of thought, how creative are we allowed to get before it constitutes a new move using inherent, very basic forces that are already apart of the move itself.

*Clears throat*
Please welcome to the team ...
Sasuke and Adam Gaite/Colonel as Angels! I've been extremely impressed with the work Sasuke has been doing around the site and he clearly has a great grasp of the rules. Adam I've been watching for some time and I'm curious to see how he will get on with things like move approvals. I'm looking forward to seeing how they both do.
Thaal Sinestro/Bandit With No Name and Vincent Valentine/Kakashi Hatake will be joining the team as Cherubs! Both of them have been doing some great work on this site for a good while now and I have great confidence that they'll be able to help us even more as staff members.
Our first Sprites will be Yu Kanda/Magneto, Ludwig Von Koopa/Specter, and Demetri Malius/Crash Bandicoot. All of them have showed some impressive dedication to the site regardless of their time here, and I'm happy to give them all a chance to prove themselves on the staff team.
I've been conservative in my picks for now, but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on everyone that hasn't been staffed in the coming months. There were a few people who didn't quite make it but may well be on the staff team soon. And I will be starting a topic for anyone else who wants to apply as staff. Good luck to all the new staff members and thank you to everyone who applied to help out the site!
All new staffers, before doing anything and particularly before cherubs or above edit any posts, make sure you read the staff guidebook in the staff forum. Thank you.

I'd love for someone to give me some extensive critique. Just click on my character profile under my avi and select any one of my threads located on my roster. Everything I have ever written on the Omniverse is there for you to chose from, from oldest to latest and it's been a while since I had some really constructive critique, so, hit me with it!

And my God, the Frozen Fields was cold as balls.
Karkat finds it hard not to scream in pure cold agony because god dammit he should've taken Jade's advice and made Gamzee synthesize some stupid sweaters and junk. He would swear at the frozen wasteland stretched out before him but if he were to open his mouth, he'd get it filled with the white stuff.
It's snow, smartass.
After some time of aimlessly flying over the glaciers, Karkat suddenly comes to a realization:
He has no idea where the hell he's going. Jade never sent him actual directions to her tower.
Okay, okay, don't freak out Vantas. You can do this. It's just a shit ton of floating glaciers, I mean, this stupid Tower is probably huge, it has to be pretty easy to spot, even in all this stupid snow and oh my god he's never going to find Jade's eyesore of a tower it's totally hopeless he's going to freeze to death he's-
Suddenly, the Cherry-Blood comes to a sugary halt, his Miracle Elixirizer keeping him hovering in mid-air. He sees a distant silhouette forming in the curtain of heavy snowfall.
Could be Jade's Tower.
Could be a mountain.
Could be a giant snow monster worm behemoth thing.
Fuck this.
Karkat glances over his shoulder, back the way he came.
Fuck that.
With a defeated sigh, the alien steels his will.
Fuck it.
He kicks the jet pack into full gear, speeding into the snowstorm hiding the silhouette.
-----
White stuff. Lots of it, covering his face. It's fucking annoying. The only landmark that Karkat has to go by is the ever looming shadow of the possible tower/mountain/thing that wants to kill him. He was pretty sure he was making progress, but that didn't make this ordeal any less trying or annoying or tedious. The troll was pretty sure he'd rather be shooting himself in the foot.
Repeatedly.
To death.
-----
It's been a while. The low-blood hadn't really been keeping track of time, he was a tad more preoccupied with not freezing to death/getting lost/crashing or some combination of the three. It was a trying task.
At least by now he had confirmed that he was INDEED making progress. The silhouette that eluded him this far was much obviously closer. It wouldn’t be long now. It was also pretty apparent that it was NOT an Alaskan Bull Worm thing that wanted to eat him like a crabcicle. In the time that Karkat had been keeping his eyes on it, it had not moved from that position. It’s definitely a tower.
Or maybe a mountain. That consequently was home to some beast(s) that would violently murder him for food or sport.
Let’s hope for the former.
You’ll have to excuse Karkat’s shitty pessimistic outlook on things. He hasn’t been known to have the best of luck with adventures, quests, games, or life in general.
Ah...Speaking of that wondrous luck.
For a while now, the pilot of the Miraculous Elixirizer has been ignoring it but the problem has grown a bit. For the past hour or so, the alien has felt the jetpack grow...heavier. Like, literally, the vehicle has weighed down more and more on his back. At first he just thought that there was a shit ton of snow that had kinda like, congealed over the jetpack, but a quick check proved otherwise.
He thinks that it’s gotten to the point that if he stopped to hover in mid-air, the pilot might just start sinking into the ground.
What’s worse, the fruity rainbow mist that erupts out of the bottom of the Elixirizer has gradually begun to leak out of the misters as opposed to coming out as vapors. It’s not a comforting feeling. It shouldn’t be a fuel problem, the Faygo is still being fed straight into the engine.
The problem is that it’s getting stuck
Because you know.
It’s fucking frozen.
Just as that thought hits him, the worst fucking thing that could have happened, happens.
There is no more mist propelling him through the frozen skies. It just stops. No more. Karkat sucks in his breath and watches in horror as the tubes filled with the little fruity miracles fueling his jetpack s-l-o-w-l-y come to a slushy halt.
With a slew of quick, intense swears, the crabby pilot begins shaking his body side to side, trying to flap these useless fucking metal wings and glide the rest of the way to the tower its definitely a tower he can see it now he can see the windows and shit mountains down have windows it was so close, so so close FUCKING HELL IT’S RIGHT THERE WORK DAMMIT WORK NEED A MIRACLE RIGHT NOW-
Wait.
Hissing. It’s hissing. The Jetpack it’s-
---KABOOM!---
“MOTHERFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!”
Karkat cries out for help as the Miracle Elixirizer explodes in a fruity rumpus chemical reaction of epic proportions. He only hopes that his startled fucking yelp is carried across the tundra to Jade’s ears.
The troll is propelled a long ways by the explosion, spiraling and turning somersaults through the air. Not quite an acrobatic fucking pirouette, but close. Fruity smelling rainbow smoke trails off behind him, clinging to his body. When Karkat finally hits powder, he skids like a skipping stone across the snow. He sends sprays of it flying through the air with every touchdown, totaling in about three or four skips across the white white ground before finally skidding to a halt on the illuminated doorstep of Jade’s tower. His head thunks loudly against the door as Karkat comes to a stop.

The Courier turned her head towards one of the lone gates inside the white abyss of the Nexus, her mind racing with conflicting thoughts and feelings. Never in her life had she felt so homesick. Raising her chin a bit, Six took a few breaths, slowing down her quickened heart rate, before hesitantly walking towards the first gate she had seen.
So, she walked. She walked, walked again, and walked some more. Needless to say, it was tiring, but the figures and other individuals around her kept the Courier pacing forward, and her mind pacing as well. Shouts began to echo in the abyss, more voices that were unfamiliar to her. In the deepest corners of her mind, Six could confidently say she was worried. Even if she could muster up the honesty to say such a thing, what Six was worried about, she couldn't say she had an idea as to why.
A long while had passed before the Courier saw the gate getting increasingly bigger. Shaking her head, she only then realized it was getting closer instead. Six sighed, before inspecting the strange work in front of her. A gate no doubt, but until now, she had no idea to where. The Courier looked inside, admiring the flashing images of old fashioned houses and infrastructure placed in wherever this gate led her. The very instance all of this seemed alien to her, Six only tilted her head before waltzing right in after a few moments of reluctance.
It was then, all faded into white.
. . .
The ground beneath Six was soft. Almost unfamiliar, yet so warm at the same time. It was then her instincts told her to flare up in attention, so she did. Only now did the Courier realize she was sitting on a grass, and leaning on a live, healthy tree behind her. It was almost as if she woke up from a dream, but no reality in the Mojave looked like this.
After a moment of taking in the surprisingly pleasing scenery, Six picked herself up, before letting her feet take control once again. It almost concerned her, the time it took to get moving. It seemed a bit too fast, but for some odd reason, she felt as if she needed to do something. What it was, Six couldn't know. Besides, a lot of things were concerning her these past few hours.
Continuing her walk, the Courier saw the slightly dense area of trees scatter into a small plain, before a wondrously unique sight fell before her eyes; every single house, building and pedestrian she had saw in those images flashing in that gate coming into sight. All she could see from left to right was nothing more than your average old fairytale fantasy town. A small, farmers market full of seemingly happy folk, at least from what she could hear off in the distance.
All of this, and right next to the path leading towards it, a little near broken down wooden sign that only read "Camelot."
The real catcher though, was a tiny piece of scrapnote paper roughly nailed to the sign, almost blocking the end of the word being shown. Moving closer, Six almost cracked a smile looking at how old fashioned this all seemed. She stopped herself, crouching down to grab at the paper, gently as ever.
There it read, "Camelot Colosseum tournament! Come one, come all! Further details can be found at the Camelot city hall"
The paper seemed to be ripped off from that point on, but that didn't stop the Courier getting an interesting idea. If she wanted to do something, she just got something to do.
Dropping the paper back on the sign, it blew in the wind a few times as Six walked off into the seemingly small city, not knowing what she's about to get herself into, as per usual.

This post was cool as it was a new perspective that we hadn't seen from this character. Jak has been around the block now and is no longer a stranger to the 'kill or be killed' theme of this tournament, thanks to DA. My biggest gripe when reading someone's adventures is that a lot of people forget to express their character's motive. Without it, none of your characters actions will make sense or feel real for the reader. Your motive was basic, but it was present and that is all that matters.
Right now Jak wishes to relive his glory days. He use to be a somebody in his own world and is now longing to make a name for himself here in the Omniverse. This is good and I hope that you work to continue fleshing this out.
The few things I found that needed correction could probably have been eliminated had you of read the post aloud. If you are not doing this, start. If something doesn't flow right when you read aloud, it won't flow right to the reader either.
Somethings can't be caught by reading it aloud though and you just have to look out for them. For example, there are some places in this post where you use a period that a comma would have been better suited. Basically any sentence you used but, should have had a comma instead of a period. That or you should have just cut the word 'but' from the sentence all together.
Jak Mar Wrote:Jak had been a hero in his world, known to all as someone who could take down ANYTHING. with just a little help from his friends. But those innocent times were gone.
Place a comma here instead, or just take out the 'But' and start the sentence with 'Those' like this:
"... help from his friends, but those innocent times were gone."
or
"... help from his friends. Those innocent times were gone."
This happens a few times in your post and it can be distracting.
Quote:His thoughts bothered him. The last time he fought, he fought for his friends and allies. Those who supported him. But none of them were here... Torn was back in HQ, Daxter was missing, and it left him with who knows who in the Omniverse now.
Works better as: "The last time he fought, he fought for his friends and allies, those who supported him, but none of them were here... Torn was back in HQ, Daxter was missing, and it left him with who knows who in the Omniverse now."
Other than that, you have some typos that could have been found through proof reading. I can't stress the importance of proof reading enough. Without it you make typos like this:
Quote:Whereever
Which is just a silly typo. =P
Besides the few errors with grammar and sentence structure though, you still have a compelling post here. You've done a good job of giving us insight into the character and where he is headed in his development. Good stuff. =D
Sorry it was such a short C&C, hmu any other time and I'd be willing to give you more C&C. ^_^

So this is only barely covered in the Stats page. Is there any place with more information (Since you can't search for TEC or Technique as a key word). It sounds like a very vague guideline or should I take it more literally like with proper application Ururu's Attack can functually be 8 given that 2Atk x 4Tec...
How much does this even see use in roleplay/competition?
