Trip to The Beach - Dust - 01-10-2016 Hokori approached the gate, his bare feet slapping the cold floor in his slow steps as he comes to a stop just in front of it. Lights danced across his form, like the sun off waves against surfaces that had shadows cast over them. The aquatic blue light of the entrance bounced off his dark eyes, and he took a moment to appreciate the beauty of it after unable to do so for so long.. He wondered how long this would last, or if he was finally cure of the restrictions his world put on him. However, freedom came at a cost, or so his past has taught him. He took a deep breath, his chest expanding a moment before shrinking back to normal size before he took a bold step through the portal. As he was pulled through, he wondered if it was just this gate, or if every gate would feel like you were swimming. No.. Not swimming, like a current has consumed one's body and was pulling them along for the ride. There was a moment in the process of stepping through the gate, where he couldn't breath. But this didn't create fear in him, it made him feel very alive. The next moment he was on the other side, and the floating feeling fled, making him feel unusually heavy. It wasn't just that, though, he fell. Only an inch, but it was enough to make him catch himself so that he stood with his shoulder's raised and the rest of his body slumped. This had struck the slightest cord of fear in him, and his dark eyes looked like specks in The Nexus for a moment before he stood back up. First thing's first, the absence of everything was gone. Sun, high in the sky and as hot as the one back in his world of origin, stretched its warmth through the air and warmed his body. It was gradual, unlike the sudden heat under his feet. The stone floor scorched his bare feet so fast he had to jump at the new sensation. He hissed a bit, but quickly made for the closest shade he could see. His choice in shadow came from a very large building with a bright and inviting atmosphere. From inside he could feel a light breeze created by the fans on the ceiling, he could hear music that called out to his body to move, and he could smell alcohol and fruit. All signs implied it was a bar. It made him smile, no reason specifically, just a smile of delight. With a little peak in, however, his grin was for the attractive sun-kissed beauties that waved their hips side to side as they served people their drinks. It was not the first time he's ever seen women showing off so much skin, but it was the first time in a long time that he could enjoy it. The animal growl escaped him as he arched a few more muscles only to let them relax. He didn't have a tail, currently, but he could feel it swaying back and forth. "My kind of place, already." He said, more to himself than to anyone near him. It was at that moment he glanced around to see if either Xavier, Asriel, or both had followed him. If not.. They were seriously missing out. Re: Trip to The Beach - Ricter - 01-10-2016 Following after Dust the transition form this location to the next didn't startle him much at all, he was akin to travel in an odd manner of being, but this was a bit unique to him as he walked up to the gate. Seeing the mass of colors shifting to form where he planned on going he would begin to slip past the entrance to the portal and soon would find himself exiting into the world he expected to be similar to what he would recognize. It was odd to say the least, the rush of colors transitioning form white to a beach like setting in just a moment and as he kept his eyes near the ground for where he would land he would touch the ground with a soft huff as he didn't think he would land anywhere safe, for all he knew he could land in the ocean trusting this random gate thing. However for him he was not where Dust was currently located, maybe he should have stayed closer to the male but not close enough to have Azalea take over and end up pouncing the tall well built male. Instead he was on the same island, but just further down the beach as he came into the area landing on sand, looking around right away he could see the waves as well as the surf passing over. Many women as well as men mingling and enjoying the bright sun out as he tilted his hat down a bit not to get blinded by the light, "Haven't traveled like that in a while." "Yeah but wow this omniverse place is amazing, it looks just like Alabasta." "Your right it dose, but with less radio's and more people enjoying the sun rather than resenting it, but uh where's Dust?" Looking around a bit he couldn't find where he was at all, though it would be hard to miss a tall shirtless man with his looks. But seeing that many of the guys were in fact shirtless and hard somewhat good looks he groaned, never minding his previous thought as he began to walk down the side street to the beach, heading in Dusts direction but he was also wondering exactly what was all here. "This place dose remind me of my own universe a lot actually, maybe we can do what we did before but here?" "Maybe but its different, and what about our previous friends? I don't think they will be here with us..." This saddened the mouse a bit, but at the same time he knew this was true, he tried to keep his composure positive for the time being as he began to pass a few shops, some smoothie places, a jamajuice, they seemed to have everything and then some. Re: Trip to The Beach - Dust - 01-10-2016 When he didn't see his friends right away, Dust felt a little disappointed, but at this same time a tanned hand passed his view from beside him, and pretty woman turned him to her with the brightest smile. His heart leaped, and beat against his rib cage. She let her fingers caress his jaw, down his strong neck, and further along his chest. It quickly invoked a lot more emotions than a blank space could ever hope to. Ironically, to another emotion blank space. He felt a flutter of lust, a grin of pleasure, and a solid hit of happiness. For a guy who's price was a kiss, and who's kissed a lot of guys, he welcomed a few gorgeous women. He let her lead him into the bar. His bulk, while more natural here, still was out of place among the mostly clothed men around the place. They were all warmed by the sun, but had on up to two layers over their shoulders, and wore either shorts or slacks. It was causal, bust still sort of business like. He noted a lot of eyes on him as he was lead by the woman to the bar. She sat down, and then motioned to the stool next to her, which he half slid in and half sank into. She smiled up at him again, and then motioned to the bar. She said nothing.. That was odd, but not at the time because he understood everything she was saying without her speaking one syllable. He turned to the bar keeper, running his big hand through his hair before ordering a drink. The tavern was dusky, shady. It had clay colored walls that could have easily been made of clay. It had rustic metal ornaments nailed to the walls, and the color splashes all around, with addition wool like fabrics in the chairs and curtains, he thought it reminded him much of the Mexican themes of the Americans. It felt very Western in theme, which was extremely inviting as well as very different from the cold themes Russia built itself on. The sandy colors and coastal music were a contrast to the war drums and ice landscapes he had been very used to seeing. Even the drink he ordered was bright and uplifting. It came in a coconut with a big straw, and even the typical umbrella sticking out of it, bobbing up an down because it was stuck into a very solid piece of pineapple that floated among the slush of ice and alcohol. He guessed it wouldn't be vodka. He also wondered if he'd feel the same as he did before with liquor. Contractors were capable of drinking, even getting drunk. He imagined they were a lot like humans in the way the responded to things of the same sort. But when he drank before, it didn't matter so much what they gave him. It just happen to be vodka. He didn't drink very often, but when he did it was always that. He picked up the cup, like a cup, and took the straw into his mouth and sucked in his first drink of the Omniverse. It wasn't vodka, the alcohol was more subtle. He would assume it was rum, or tequila based on the area around him. A sweet breeze blew in through the window, brushed his hair back into his face, and then threw his scent out into the open air of the present verse. He paused for a moment, let the straw fall loose from his lips, and then turned to the maiden at his side. Only she was gone.. Vanished completely. And when he looked around, he couldn't see her exact image. He noticed most of the girls looked similar to her, dark thick hair that bounced around as they moved, twirled, and even laughed. He also noted some particularly dark glares from guys before turning his attention back to the bartender. He was blonde, well dressed while following the same rules of the island, and just gave Lycan a shrug as if it would answer whatever question was going through his head. It didn't but it made him understand still.. He picked up his body, slowly, letting each muscle tense up before letting it relax as he remained in perfect posture. He took his drink with him, and headed out the same way he came. Outside, the light was brighter than before somehow, and he brought his hand up over his eyes; pressed up against his brows as they scrunched up. He took notice of his surroundings before deciding to go around the building. His hand fell to his side while the other one carried the coconut like a wine glass without the stem that held it up like a flower. He had to step onto the hot ground to move around the building, but tolerated it far better when he expected it. He stepped out onto the sidewalk of wood next to the beach, just as Xavier and his unseen companion walked up. The wind came in to brush his hair around as he brought the straw back to his mouth, wrapping his lips around it for a second time and drinking deeply from the cup, and the world. It calmed him.. He wasn't sure how much more calm he could be, being a contractor, but it relieved the visible tension of his shoulders and back. Which could be watched by anyone, but probably Azalea closely observed as the man in front of her truly relaxed for the first time in his adult life. He relaxed his shoulders, dropped the drink from his mouth, closed his eyes, and took in a very deep breath that extended his chest a bit before he let it out in a long satisfied sigh. It wasn't until he was done did he notice he wasn't alone anymore. He glanced over so casually, and the wind gently blew his hair back into his eyes, but in a sexy kind of way. His smile only amplified this. "There you are." Re: Trip to The Beach - Ricter - 01-11-2016 Both Azalea and Xavier searched diligently for Dust while enjoying each of the sights around the beach front area of this island they were on, the pier and docks weren't too far away and as he walked along the mouse would make small comments on the area they were in. It seemed pretty medium class, no high retail stores littered the place and only local establishments with a few brand name places here and there. But they simply looked like clothing stores and a shop for every other occasion such as food, surf board, and drinking with a bit of fun mixed in but he hadn't planned on going to any place like that as he walked along and soon came to a stop. "He's over in one of the shops along this side" She pointed as Xavier raised a brow at this, "You can tell where he's at?" "Of course, my nose is way better than your's at finding super hot and attractive guys and Dust is number 1 on my list to bon-" She would be cut off by Xavier placing a finger over her mouth as he sighed. "Please I'd like to keep my mind pg-13, keep your mental thoughts to yourself." He couldn't blame her for having a crush but she needed someone else's body to have it with, not his own. Taking her advice however he would begin to walk down the street and head down each of the shops, eventually finding his way near the shop Dust went into and sure enough he would step out wearing a smile for once as this made him blush a bit to this change in expression. "Yeah I guess the gate sends you to random locations in the universe you end up going into, luckily I went through right behind you other wise I could end up on a distant island instead of just a half mile down the pier." He gestured behind him, showing where he came from and where the gate ended up spitting him out at as Azalea would then ask. "So what do we all do now? Relaxing sounds fun but we might need to focus on some kind of objective." "Azalea wants to relax but keep an objective in mind, what about you? Looks like your already enjoying a taste of the tropical life." He pointed out the drink he had as he was tempted to get his own but Azalea was a light weight, a few drinks and her emotions would run wild like a tornado sent past a farm house. Re: Trip to The Beach - Dust - 01-11-2016 Dust took to drinking as Xavier explained his theory of being spit out on an island, he guessed the possibility of that was about the same as him being dropped right in the middle of the ocean that lapped at the beach a good 30 feet away; again Wolf thought Omni had more impressive tricks. He disagreed, in short. When he spoke Azalea's name for the first time to him, he resembled a canine in the way his head tilted slightly to the right, bringing dark strands to fall lazily across his cheeks now that the breeze was gone. He didn’t picture Xavier the insane type, but he left it alone for now. He just went along. "Me?" He asked absently, taking up the straw with a flick of his tongue, sipping the liquid until the cup was empty and the pockets of air sputtered along. As he did, he thought about what to do. But nothing came to mind. "I don’t know.. I did assignments back in my universe. But now I don't have anyone to tell me what to do." He explained, making his way closer to the beach, other bodies littered the sands, but he was drawn to the wire basket that hung off a fence of sorts. When SL - 808 was close, he tossed the straw in it, pulled the fruit out by the umbrella, ate it, then tossed the umbrella into the basket as well. He didn't look it, but he noticed before the items hit the bottom of the trash can, they vanished. He then flipped the coconut around so what was left of the drink dripped into his palm, before pulling back on it and slamming the thing against the drift wood fence in a flash of movement. With a loud snap, it cracked open and apart. One moment Star Dust was holding a coconut in the air like a man's captured skull, the next he held the remnant in both his hands. The leftover mixed drink making his paws wet at first, then sticky as it dried. He took pieces of the busted fruit, and put them to his mouth as he turned back to companion and started to dig at the meat with his bright teeth, letting the juices run down his strong jaw. "So.." He started, gulping down his kill, "I'm up for pretty much anything." He finished, tossing the clean shard and tearing into the next. Re: Trip to The Beach - Ricter - 01-11-2016 "You probably don't have to worry about that any more given how the people of here tend to act they've grown accustomed to seeing things, and by what I've read on my phone this is separated form your original universe. Pretty much your a free man all in all." Though he might still be getting used to the perks of being able to really enjoy freedom and actually see how it was and what not Xavier on the other hand been free nearly all his life and all in all was capable of easily just finding a means of enjoying simple things that he was no experiencing by the looks of it. Watching him drink from the 'cup' he had and soon eat it Xavier a well as Azalea would wonder what they should do now, while Azalea was already kinda ogling the man again, luckily she was unseen other wise other people would wonder what was going on with the mouse. Gazing at his phone for a second there was a few things that were going on in the news and off handedly mentioned parts of the world at large, which pretty much just this world and not the others. But he didn't see anything they should actually look out for, "Doesn't look like there's much to pay attention too, we might as well relax on the beach and enjoy the sun in this case." "Maybe but we should also look into this universe some more later on, after all this place might be very different from our home and we might not see it yet." Though she brought up an interesting point he also didn't want to end up going into this too blind, which was why he choose relaxation over investigation, besides they had a while to actually explore the world they were in and see the other realms soon enough. "Sound good to you or are you already enjoying the sun tan and girls?" He could tell with a body like his any woman wouldn't' mind hooking up with him, even himself but this was in part thanks to Azalea who constantly was drooling over the man and his every action. If this were an anime she'd already be plotting ways to gave sempai notice her, but she kept to herself for now and stayed invisible for the most part. At least till she worked up the nerve to try and claim the pup as her own, but to do that she needed a way better and more feminine body to work with and though she was tempted to change Xavier's body she didn't know how much he would hate or enjoy the idea. Re: Trip to The Beach - Dust - 01-12-2016 Ookami was tearing into the meat of the nut again, listening to the neko go on after flipping through his phone once more. It hadn't hit him that he was a free man until the words had danced across the airwaves in Xavier's voice... Dust just stopped. Since he could remember, he was at another's will. Obedient, trained obedience, but he had Ben collared throughly. Freedom.. It was the most foreign word he'd ever heard in his life. The very idea felt forbidden, and because of that.. It suddenly was very appealing. But these would be afterthoughts, as the emotions that had been bound inside him with strong but invisible rope exploded once more. The realization that he was free brought him to an icey stop, he felt like he'd been kicked in the gut. However, the ice melted; tears poured down his flat Re: Trip to The Beach - Dust - 01-12-2016 ...tears poured down his cheeks*. At that moment it wasn’t just freedom to do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted, it was complete freedom. Hokori was free of the binds that tied him to SL - 808, he could feel things again, appreciate what freedom even means. He could cry! He could feel the excitement bubble inside of him as the tears left his cheeks wet. Wolf could enjoy the scenery. He could feel sorrow for Drake and more than likely for Shock, he could feel things he didn't even have words for anymore, whatever it was that he felt when he thought about how he was the only person to morn a good contractor; for at least a moment there they had been comrades. He could feel sorry for himself; finally after years of no one pitying the poor child who'd lost everything. He would be the only one, it would seem, to be effected by some things. And at that point, Hoshi-san, felt very alone.. The tears that rolled down his skin have changed drastically between welling up and reaching the end of the man's square jaw.. First from shock, relief, happiness, pity, and in the end from great sadness. Wolf let the remnants of the coconut crash against the wood, making hollow noises as they bounced once, landing at his still very bare feet. Then a moment later they were gone, just vanished. Had anyone actually watched, they flashed red before disappearing into nothing. Would it be the same in his stomach, would he never know what being full and satisfied be like? It wasn’t on the top of the list at that moment of important questions he wanted to know the answers to. Right now, all he could do was feel cold and utterly alone while the sun shone brightly and brought burning warmth to his very pale skin. Re: Trip to The Beach - Ricter - 01-12-2016 Xavier didn't seem to notice the mans reaction to his words, his eyes drifted off to the beach as he saw the waves pushing inland and then receding out into the salty waters, seagulls passing by over head as the man people enjoyed their day as perusal. This all reminded himself of the many islands he visited in the past, most of which were very nice and had a beach similar to this one while others were just bad and had so many flaws it was unredeemable in value. However he felt something, and odd sadness and worry, it was sudden and he didn't know why he was feeling this way at all until he began to bring his attention back to Dust after looking off to the side for just a few moments after he spoke to him. It was here he would know why, Azalea was watching him begin to cry, this causing her sadness to bleed into his own emotions as this sudden spike in her while Xavier was distracted made him react to it as she took over his needs and wants for a brief moment. Neither of them knew why he was suddenly crying and as the cup soon fell out of his hands she would make Xavier take a step forward, reaching out to rub along his arm as his touch was oddly lady like in nature, "Are you okay? Did something happen to you sweeti-..." It was here that Xavier took back control as he was nearly about to call Dust sweetie, a term he'd never use as he blushed and pulled his hand back as he inwardly groaned at Azalea's forceful take over of his emotions. Luckily it didn't go too much further and that she wasn't extremely strong, lest she possess his body fully and make him do things he very much didn't want to do at all. "Do you know why he's crying? What did you do to him Xavier." "I didn't do anything to the man, all I mentioned was that he should enjoy himself and take advantage of his freedom, and to go enjoy the beach is all." "Well now he's crying...you should give him a hug." "I think your little arm rub was enough Azalea..." Both of them were puzzled as to why he seemed to have such a mix of emotions just now, his face resenting the looks of someone going through many things at once and all Xavier and his companion could do was wonder if he was alright and try to help if he wished to explain it. "I...didn't say anything bad did I?" Xavier tried to explain, wondering in fact if he did say something bad to him as he wondered if this was the case. Re: Trip to The Beach - Dust - 01-13-2016 Dust felt only the coldness of lonliness, consumed by it as he realized what freedom's price seemed to be. Then like the spring's first light caressing the snow bound earth after a long winter, he felt a similar warmth in the delicate touch of Xavier's hand as it mimicked a butterfly's touch. It was subtle in the way it moved, but the touch was filled with compassion that flooded through the smaller males hand to his own body. Dust absently looked down at it, then to the face of who owned the hand, and was greatly surprised to see Xavier standing there. For a moment, he seemed entirely different. Like he was a she, even his blushing face seemed just a tad bit out of character.. Then he blinked and the neko was back to himself, turned to look away. He almost sensed embarrassment, but what did this bulky male know of intution? He touched his arm, instinct is what he thrived on, even when he had nothing else, he had insticts. And it was telling him that a woman had touched his arm.. Yet he could not see her around him. Even if there was no where to hide, he knew she was still near. He rubbed his arm where he still felt the concern in her touch. Only then did he realize he was crying. Tears.. He had never she'd tears. Not once since becoming a contractor. Where did he begin? "No. You didn't say anything that hurt me." He paused, and let his hand stay where Azalea touched him. He's felt this before, Shock had touched him like this. "I just realized I am alone. And I guess I don't like it.. Which makes sense-" He stopped abruptly, shaking his head and putting a smile on his face that was neither faked or lying. "Nevermind that. What is it that.. Azalea? Is that her name? What does she want to do?" He asked, despite never being told that Azalea was a girl. Part of him understood.. but the other part was still confused. However, he went along with it. Re: Trip to The Beach - Ricter - 01-13-2016 Hearing this both Xavier and Azalea could feel for the man, he was alone in a new world that probably didn't even know who he was or why he was here. Not to mention by the looks of it he was just feeling like he didn't have much of a belonging given how he reacted to such a comment, but he didn't interpose too much as Azalea was tempted to actually hug him but Xavier was attentive and kept in control for now. Hearing about what Azalea might want to do she blushed, which in turn made Xavier fluster a bit, "Well...tell him I want him to feel better first, after that we can maybe go sit on the beach, get some nice cold treats, maybe talk and...and make out a little-" "Your pushing it Azalea" Hearing her wishes easily enough he would try to explain them, however he was slowly realizing that he hadn't explained his spirit companion much to Dust. He did at one point but that was a off handed remark, but he was also just happy he pointed out her existence, it made the girl smile and even more so feel a bit less timid as she was getting less and less tense around the man. "She said she wants you to feel better and that we should relax on the beach and eat some ice-cream, maybe that will make you think less about our current situation." Though Xavier didn't sound nearly as compassionate as Azalea did but he conveyed it in his own little way as his tai flicked idly behind him while he would also mention something else. "By the way if I act 'off' its probably because she's doing something to my emotions, we are linked in a way and given this our emotions are tied together so I might act differently based on how she's feeling." Explaining this he didn't know if the man would believe him or not or just think he's crazy till Azalea worked up the nerve to show herself to him but for now he was totally fine with speaking up on this. Soon walking over towards some stairs he would gesture for Dust to follow, however as he smiled and waved for him to come along he gave and odd wave as to wish Dust would come with him. "Coming? We can take a walk along the beach too, not like we don't have time or anything." Re: Trip to The Beach - Dust - 01-13-2016 The man that stood over Xavier's height waited as he used the back of his hand to rub off the evidence of his weakness, as if height have even heard the mouse say she wanted him to get to feeling better already. Strange how emotional a man can get after having none for decades. He wondered if he'd ever get used to having them. He laughed at his words, and smiled a bit more cheerily. Then they started down towards the beach, Dust on the neko's heels. "That explains that look on your face. " He commented as his long legs made up for any lost ground, he had to be careful not to walk too fast as they moved past to planks of now ash color wood and soon straight onto almost unbarably hot sand. From the moment they began to mingle among the other people, Wolf looked as if he belonged on the beach much more than his neko friend who grew up among islands and the people in them; the tight fitting shorts looked like professional grade swim trunks, while Xavier was still fully clothed. "I can't remember the last time I had ice cream.. " He mentioned as he looked around for anything of interest. But it looked like any ordinary beach. At the very least, like a photo Dusty's seen prior. Humanoids lying all over the soft sand, umbrellas with some of them, only a bag with a few. He could even see a few volleyball nets set up down the side. But he was not sure where they would go to get ice cream. Re: Trip to The Beach - Ricter - 01-13-2016 Giving a soft pout as he tried to hide his face from Dust at his small remark to how he looked before he would only try to keep himself from over reacting again. "Don't hide your face, maybe he will like me more if you show it off, you might not have my good lucks but I can say you look cute when your pouting and blushing hehe~." She would tease him as he wasn't too much in the mood for her little playful antic's, even going so far as to flick her nose as she gave a muffled squeak to it. Another interesting thing about him was that he could interact with spirits around him easily enough so long as they were willing to be touched by him, or if Azalea would help him out in that regard, none the less. Walking along the beach however he would look around for any ice cream totters that wished to sell their frozen treats, which he found one not to far down the beach as he walked along. "You can't remember even that? I know the last time I had one was like a week ago...hm..." Given a difficult choice he decided to give Azalea a free one. "[color=blueAzalea, take over for a bit.[/color]" "What!? You...do you mean it?" "*sigh* Yes I mean it, just no kissing or anything." With a gleeful squeal she would soon encompass his will and even as he walked along his figure looked a lot more feminine, his walk saturated in the hips and soon enough Dust would notice something about the man. He wasn't a man any more as his chest filled out and his black hair grew longer, reaching the ice-cream stand Xavier would turn around and would be soon shown that he was now Azalea but in a more human looking appearance as she had taken over. "Wow, its been such a long time since I've gotten control like this, oh my...um..." Blushing bashfully as she looked in Dusts direction she would smile as she soon spoke up. "This might be a bit odd for you but I took over for a bit, normally I don't get so much freedom unless given permission, anyways I'm Azalea, Xavier's spirit guide. What kind of ice-cream do you like?" She would say as she was still a tad shy but while having Xavier's confidence it helped her to at least introduce herself to Dust as she looked to the pup with admiring eyes. Though they held in what Xavier still showed to be himself deep down, keeping a very close eye on what she was doing as at any moment he would try to pull the plug on this whole affair as he gave Azalea a bit of what she wanted right now. Re: Trip to The Beach - Dust - 01-13-2016 Dust was focused on following Xavier as he moved across the hot sands, noting one or two sights of nontraditional tourist scenes. He also saw few islands in the far distance when he glanced out to sea, but he hadn't been at all paying attention to what was going on with the neko. So when he looked back to see a full figured female with mouse ears, while still retaining a bit of the original body. Specifically Xavier's clothes. For a moment he was confused, but he sensed it was the same energy before, the one that still sort of lingers on his arm. He looked her over curiously, wondering if she'd taken Xavier her hostage and if he should be concerned, but she seemed a bit too awkward for that kind of thinking. He could tell there were some physical differences, widening of hips despite the jeans he wore, visible expansion in the chest; even some skin showing through the opened button up shirt. He found himself paying close attention to that for a long while before moving on. Her words implied this wasn't a regular thing, and he became very curious about what the occasion was. He gave her a polite smile as she looked in his direction, despite knowing there was only one body to be shared, he found her cute. "Hello, Azalea." He said in his same gravely voice that raked pleasantly against eardrums, his voice was the kind of voice that could sing just about anything. Except maybe classical opera. He might still be able to pull it off, but he had more of a rock voice. They were at the ice cream cart now, and he looked down at the colorful list of flavors. Some were simple, others were complicated, and he wondered for a moment how a child was supposed to purchase it, let alone an adult that was expected to know what everything was. He felt a bead of sweat sink down his neck when she asked what his favorite flavor was. "They will sound strange to someone who doesn't know my culture, but I remember liking Matcha Green Tea flavor." He explained, and noticed that wasn't one of the flavors on the list. Would they have it? Would they both look at him like he was insane for suggesting you mix tea and ice cream? He gave her a nervous laugh. "I don't even know if I like it anymore, I'll try whatever you want me to." He added, letting her choose the treat of her choice. He tried to guess, would she go for two cones, a sundae the two of them would share? A frozen fruit bar? What else can you do with ice cream? He could only guess, he never looked into it. Re: Trip to The Beach - Ricter - 01-14-2016 "I've never had that before, to bad I think they don't sell those kinds in this universe at least, here let me get you something new. May I have a vanilla and chocolate cone please? No sprinkles, yes thank you!" Talking to the vender as he would take out two waffle cones and scoop out ice-cream for them both she didn't see any tables near by other wise she would have gone for something better but for now she was happy to get him introduced into the world of dairy treats that didn't taste like tea. Handing the man a chocolate flavored ice-cream cone she would smile to him, her black hair draping down a bit over her chest as she would push it to the side to actually enjoy her own ice cream cone with slow modest licks as she gave a soft purr, half like a cat but her mouse like features showed other wise. "How dose it taste? Its a bit different from your typical I can guess but I'm sure if you like chocolate you will like that." With a good majority of her worlds people enjoying chocolate ice cream she could only guess that he would like it as well. Smiling however she got a small idea as Xavier wasn't in the know about it, after all they shared a lot of stuff but unless he was willing prying into her mind he didn't know what she was thinking unless Azalea said something to him mentally. "If you'd like you can also have a taste of my ice-cream too~" It nearly had a beckoning after tone to what she said but it was quickly shunned away given her almost shy expression as she held her cone in her dainty hands, she was still a bit bashful around the handsome male however was still able to at least talk to him about certain things as the hot sun beamed down on the two of them. "So Dust, what did you do before you came here I should say, you said you never did a few things that stricken me for odd when I first heard them. Not to mention um...your mostly with out clothes more or less." She flustered a bit at pointing this out, trying her best not to give his body a look down, granted she already did that many-a-time while she was just a spirit looking in through Xavier's eyes and her own. Re: Trip to The Beach - Dust - 01-14-2016 Dust let her order her the icecream, and wondered if the vender thought her a child. She shared Xavier's height, and looked very small compared to him. There were no looks from him, however, and when he thought about it he couldn't remember the guy's face. Which struck him as odd, but not enough to worry him. He took the waffle cone from her as she offered it, and took up to his mouth. His nose was greeted with the scent of chocolate. Mild and yet strong, he tested it with his tongue, but couldn't get the full taste of it. So he let open his jaw, and ran his tongue across the side of his scooped chocolate ice cream. It melted against his hot touch, and it was delicious. He felt glad about it, for some reason, and then leaned in for another lick when Azalea asked her question. He paused to consider his options, then resumed the lick, twisting the ball of frozen dairy as he did to get the part that was already slightly melted, then answered. "It's great, actually." He said before another lap at the chocolate goodness. He stopped to savoir it, then was offered a try of her vanilla cone. He didn't think it would be especially different, but decided he might as well. Hokori leaned down to her offering, and ran his thick tongue over her ice cream as he did with his. Leaving behind a clear indent in the ribbon. Again, pausing to decide if he liked it or not. It did indeed have a different taste, and was actually considerably different from chocolate. Both were probably furthest from the likeness of Matcha. He let out a soft growl of pleasure himself, still only an inch from her ice cream. His muscular back picked him back up with ease as he returned to his ice cream. There was no where to sit other than the beach, so he lead her out closer to sea. This is when the conversation picked up, between licks. "You want the whole story, or just the parts right before Omni intervened?" He asked, looking down at her from the corner of his eye, still licking at the chocolate treat. Re: Trip to The Beach - Ricter - 01-14-2016 Azalea's eyes stayed glued to his own, watching as Dust began to enjoy the frozen yet sweet treat for what could be the first time he's ever had anything like this before, indicated by how he seemed to enjoy it in such a lucrative manner. At least in her mind it felt that way as she offered up her done to him, allowing him to lick around it, all the while her tail flicked and swayed at the sight, if she wasn't so restricted by Xavier's wants and wishes she'd make him her boy friend in the time it would take to hold a small conversation. But she had to be polite, and keep herself under her friends wishes even as she began to shiver and blush at the licks she gave along her vanilla treat, making her want to lean in just to taste it form his mouth but catching up on this wish Xavier pulled her back mentally as she growled inwardly. "Your no fun...fine." She would get a kiss from him one way or another, however right now she would only smile to his justification of how delicious the flavors were to the new found man. "I'm glad you like it, for a second I thought you'd end up hating it or just get some allergic reaction to it." Of course she was joking but she didn't leave it out as she would begin moving away from the stand, looking at him still as she would wonder how much information she wanted to hone in on. It would be here that she would notice a nice little table near the side of the beach, it was accompanied by a number of them and as she began to walk over to them she would reach out, aiming to take his free hand and pull him along lightly. "Well I said we have time, you can start from any point you feel is good, I don't want you to think I'm too nosey though...but it would be better if we got to know one another given how we both ended up here." She had a small point, but a point none the less, not wishing to be here with out knowing someone both Xavier and Azalea were fortunate to have one another. Dust on the other hand even admitted however that he was alone, and for good reason, they didn't know one another so he couldn't really considered them both friends, that was till they got to know each other better. This being her reasoning behind everything as she would be the first to sit down, letting go of his hand reluctantly as she wished for him to sit as well, all the while she began to give small licks along her cone that was far from suggestive. Re: Trip to The Beach - Dust - 01-14-2016 Before, Dust noticed, he might have gone along with her completly void of his on opinion of where to go to have a conversation. But now, after too many relayed messages at a table or standing in shadows, he didn't let go when she tried to sit down. His strong touch was too much for her to argue with as he pulled her back onto her feet and started heading towards the water again. He would later suspect it was the Neko's blood that bothered her to getting to close, that cats hate water. But he didn't think about it as he tugged her along. His hand gentle for a giant, but still forceful enough to let her know he wasn't interested in sitting down. "I'm not the type of person who can read people, my actions are based purely on instinct. So if I get a little too talkative, just stop me." He said, making an effort to excuse his mistakes before he made them. He wasn't a talker, nor a thinker. He never had to be. He was strategic, but he was still the worse of the group. He didn't let go of her hand, despite getting closer enough to the water that he was walking on the soft squishy sand, it felt like snow under his feet, but more solid. "I can't actually say why I'm so under dressed, because I don't really know. Before this I was on a train, and before that I was in battle." That would explain the bandaging on his arm opposite of the one she touched, the patches of gauze that were taped to him in random places, bullet wounds. "I was fighting against another squad of soliders, but I had been on my last leg. And my archenemy, if you can call her that, had me on my knees and ready to strike the final blow. When she suggest I return to her side with her and the other guy I fight regularly. I agreed and then passed out. Next thing after that, I was being aroused from sleep, and Drake was pulling me outside. And before I was pulled here to the Omniverse, he died in my arms. " When he finished, he had a sad look on his face. While his tone had been somewhat neutral, his eyes looked very sad. Lost.. His ice cream was melting in his hand, leaving thing brown lines over his knuckles before he started to lap away at the soft outer shell. Not because he enjoyed it, not with that sad look in his eyes, but because he didn't want it to waste away. Re: Trip to The Beach - Ricter - 01-14-2016 Being pulled away from the table she could tell that he didn't wish to actually sit down, instead she was pulled towards the beach as she noticed the grip on her hand. It was firm yet gentle, not enough to make her want to pull away, not that she would even dream of it given how much she liked Dust right away and soon enough she began to learn a small bit about him as they went along the soft shifting parts of the sand. She was wearing shoes so she tried to stay on the inner most parts of it, allowing Dust to ease the possible burning sensation he had been having as they got here, after all minus his clothes he had no shoes as well. Not too keen on watching his ice-cream she was busy tending to her own as she was already beginning to bite down on the waffle cone while having some left that she couldn't get too with out eating away at it. At the end of his small story he could tell he wasn't all too happy with the out-come, and not only that but she could guess that would mean both of his friends might have died. It was tragic to think such a way and well if he were to stay he might have died as well, so in a way Omni- or who ever they were named as, saved him from impending doom. "I'm sorry for those you might have lost before you ended up being taken here, but in a way I'm sure they would be happy to know that your not dead as well and in a way survived the whole ordeal. Even if this isn't really a good means of surviving anything, this world...or worlds I should say, its daunting to know your forced to leave everything behind on a whim because someone found an interest in you enough to steal you away. This isn't something me, or Xavier, would have expected to face, especially given how much we traveled and explored on our adventures." "I can speak for both of us when I say we weren't as plucked away at a moment of death as you were, Xavier and I got caught in a storm and were pulled into a whirl pool. Though our ship got sunken we could have managed with out it given the status on Xavier's body, however instead the eye of the whirlpool lead us to that place we were in prior to coming here and the white figure was all I could see before we passed out and eventually woke up around that fountain. It was scary to say the least, and now I fear that we might not be able to come back now, I'd say we left a lot of friends given how I think no one really returns form this realm..." Her grip got a bit more tight as she spoke about their little circumstances when it came to coming here at least, maybe it would even calm him down as she took another soft bite out of her cone, nearly done already. Re: Trip to The Beach - Dust - 01-14-2016 He didn't have the luxury of friends.. And that only made him feel all the more lonely. He was quiet as she talked about her time, listening, but going over everything that happened last night. Truthfully, he didn't want to leave. Going back would mean going back to being emotionally dead, and being a contractor. Not that he didn't know he was or wasn't one still. He just knew he felt things, and he wasn't supposed to. He was none the wiser that there was a new star hovering inside the atmosphere here in the world, that it had been transferred much like he had, but it hung in the sky. "But you are wrong.. They weren't my friends.. And one of them can't even feel happiness. I don't think Shock can either now, I'm sure she's dead too." He said, sounding grim. His voice hasn't broke yet, but he could feel the depletion of his mood. This time he didn't bother licking up the mess his ice cream was beginning to make. Ookami was experiencing grief.. |
