| Retiring my Alt Account. |

It just isn't working out, frankly.
Those of you that have been here awhile may know of my reputation for frequently switching through alt characters for one reason or another- mostly because I lost drive and interest with them when I was more occupied with Dante. It's been bothering me a lot, since I feel like having a second character like this should mean I have to tend to it in some manner.
But like I said, it just isn't working out. I get a storm of new ideas, switch to a new character determined that this is gonna work out better, and then it promptly doesn't. Considering myself and my ADD-riddled history, this isn't really that big of a surprise, but it makes the whole thing no less frustrating.
So I would like my alternate account (currently Joseaph Joestar) to be deleted. Just gone.
You Wrote:"That's kind of dramatic, don't you think? Are you sure that once it happens, you're not gonna regret that and create another account anyways?" I'm quite certain. I can tie most of my alt-character switches to the thought train of "hey I'm not using this other character I have, maybe I don't really want to, oh hey here's another character I think would be fun". With the second account gone outright, I'll just have this main one to manage and think about, and if I do want to add another character, the decision will have to be worth making a whole new account for.
If I could enlist the aid of an admin, then I'd like this action done as soon as can be convenient, please.

Character name: Lightning (Claire Farron)
Character source: Final Fantasy 13 / 13-2 / Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13
Character history:
She is taken from a point near the beginning of Final Fantasy 13-1, either straight after the opening cutscene, or after the main characters get turned into l’Cie. I will solidify the route of choice in my initial post.
Physical Description:

Starting Proficiencies: (1000)
Physical Proficiency (1000)
Ranged Proficiency (1000)
Starting Powers: (1500)

Master Acrobat (400)
Starting Moves: (1200)
Changes made in bold!
Blazefire Saber
Gun
Weapon type: Assault Rifle
Magazine size: 25
Fire rate: 5/second
Effective range: 300 meters
Accurate up to: 275 meters
Guardian Corp Enhancement: Lightning Spark (300)
Video display! (Same as above)
Grav-Con Unit allows Lightning to charge herself up to boost the efficiency of her melee attacks by integrating electricity into her unarmed attacks (Punches, kicks). This effect has to be charged up (Can be charged while moving although due less concentration, it'll take longer, however cannot be charged when in direct combat), the charging takes five seconds (10 if moving), providing the effect for seven seconds.
Comment: For now, I won't add any paralyzing effect or such, as it'd require me to purchase Debuff proficiency as far as I understand, for which I currently don't have the OM to spare. It's basically a "It's zappy, hurts more', for now. I shall upgrade it later down the line.
Guardian Corp Enhancement: Antigravity Module (300, Master Acrobat, Super Jumping)
Video Display!
The Grav-Con Unit allows Lightning to float mid air at the maximum height of one meter for 7 seconds, able to manipulate her body along her own axis as she wishes, in order to deliver attacks from odd angles as well as to perform extensive aerial maneuvers.
After the effect ends, she’ll land on the ground peacefully. This enhancement can also be used when jumping from high places, to allow safe landings. The height which she can land safely from, is limited to the level of her super jumping.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

And suddenly, there she was, in the heart of the city. "Whoa... what is this place...?" she murmured, as she turned about, getting her bearings. It was futuristic as hell, yet... not, all at once. A small grin set upon her face, as she began on the path forward. Where was she going? Well, fuck if she knew. She was just gonna explore, have a good ol' time. Luckily she made those sunglasses, because this place was all sorts of bright. A quick adjustment of her yellow coat, and she was taking off at a run, looking around the place.
There was a parade going on, and Noodle decided to stick around and watch. A cerulean dragon, a red octopus, you know. Basic parade fare. Ladies in peacock feathers and way-too-revealing clothing sealed the deal. Clichéd parade. She left, rather unimpressed with this so-called "party district". Maybe she'd find other places more bearable. Hopefully so. Hours went by exploring Costa del Sol. However, as it happened, she didn't. It was a really odd mix of culture that just shook her the wrong way. She considered leaving the verse, but had a better idea.
She extracted the OM from the Geep, (she'd resummon it later) got busy with another vehicle, a submarine, and went exploring the ocean. She passed a few islands. One looked like it had Pokémon in it. She was imagining that one, for sure. She saw an underwater establishment or two, and then she found what seemed to be a spot she liked. She'd stay here for a bit, for sure. That's about when a second wonderful idea took hold of her mind. An idea that made her smile with glee and excitement.
She'd build Plastic Beach anew. A base of operations for whenever the others got here. If they ever got here, that is. but that was besides the point. She began with the beach itself. Closing her eyes, she began focusing on the beachside, a amalgamation of plastic trash and oil. She felt her Omnilium reserves working themselves. But she could feel it. She had enough of the magic substance to make this happen. More and more, the bits and pieces came together, until finally, there it was. The beach was here. A large smile spread across her features. She was on her way.
Next up was the mushroom cloud-like spire that the island somehow kept standing. Concentration started filling the air with what was once throwaways, and sticky substances from untold disasters at sea holding it all together. A long time passed, but she remained determined to create this large structure. But she wouldn't have to wait for much longer. Everything fell into place soon enough. Now all that remained was the mansion on top, and the extra stuff in the interiors. This would be the easy part.
But, oh, was she wrong. Focusing on such minute details in giant structures was jarring at best. Certainly more difficult. Slowly, a white husk of a building started to come up from the ground- er, trash. It was more difficult than she'd ever faced in her rather short run of Omnilium building. As the bulk of the building was finished, though, it was less difficult and more tedious. Noting every small feature in the inside, every floor tile, man, was it a pain. At last, though, after hours upon hours of concentration and construction, it was completed. Her own plastic palace. Plastic Beach.
She parked her recently-created submarine at the dock nearby, and looked about. Everything seemed accurate to a tee. From the way the mansion loomed above her, to the collection of forgotten parts scattered around, it was great. She stepped into an elevator, taking her to the top of her spire, and to the entrance of the mansion. Deep breath in, deep breath out. She stepped inside, and it was exactly how it was before those stupid pirates attacked. There were a few elevators on the inside, too, showing the way to the recording studio, her bandmate 2D's underwater room, the bar, bathrooms. et cetera. She'd made it.
Everything on the outside was present and accounted for, too. The beat-up pirate ship, the lighthouse, the dock, the huts outside, and all of the things in between. It was beautiful. It was home. She went upstairs, to where her room was located with an exhausted smile. Damn, she'd really memorized this place well. Even her favorite sheets were set out on her bed. She practically jumped under the covers, and stared up at the ceiling, listening to the seagulls squawk outside the large windows. Her eyes drifted shut, and she was asleep in minutes.
Welcome to the world of the Plastic Beach.

He felt empty. His body, once filled with the essence of human souls, felt hollow and cold... Was this death? The former Archangel did not think so. His mind whirled at an unbelievable pace, processing his final moments with a critical eye, discerning what might have happened.
Nephalem... Malthael's voice resounded throughout his surroundings echoing back and forth, filling the space he occupied with the rasping quality of his words. He clenched his hands, anger filling his being. All of his plans... His victory over the Great Conflict ruined by a mere mortal. The Angel tried to lift a foot, intending to begin pacing but found his movements were restricted by a force not visible to him.
Malthael held in his anger, for it served no use here. He needed to wait and see why he was here, and not dead as he should be. The Angel of Death bowed his head, meditating. After all, what was death if not patient?
----------------
Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know...
Malthael's head moved up from int's downward position, regarding the white man, in front of him. He radiated power similar to that of an angel, yet not quite as...pure. His body was featureless, save for the moronic grin plastered to his face. He stood a few feet in front of the Angel, cupping an unknown object in his luminescent hands.
Quote:“This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing...
The being opened his hands, a small orb of energy gathered in the alcove formed by his hands, pulsing with an undeniably powerful energy. It levitated a few inches above his alabaster skin. Compelled to touch it, Malthael held out a claw-like hand, willing the orb to his grasp. The miniature sun floated to his dark armored hand and seemed to seep into his very essence.
Quote:“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others...
The Reaper tilted his head slightly, contemplating these words. Of course there were others. He could not be the only one who had somehow ensnared this deity's attention. He lowered his arms, nodding slightly as if to acknowledge what the man had said. His vision began to go dark once more, and his last sight was a grinning face.
Quote: Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn... That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”

From high above the treeline, the camera flashed. Reds and blue balls of magic that had been filling the air dissipated into nothingness. Burned and beaten, the red-cloaked figure she had been interviewing beat a hasty retreat. Knowing she could always track her down later if she needed to ask any more questions, Hatate wasn’t particularly worried about letting her leave. Still hanging high up in the air, now alone with only herself and the wind, the pink-clad tengu lifted her camera up to eye-level and began sifting through all the pictures she had just taken.
“She lives in the human village,” the journalist muttered half to herself, camera recording her words while she deleted the pictures that didn’t have the subject in them. “But with a collar as tall as that, she’s totally hiding something!” Intrigue sparked in Hatate’s chest. On top of the suspiciously upturned collar, the person had attacked her when the reporter started asking questions. She would definitely have to check this out more in-depth. As she cleared away the last picture without the mysterious subject, ready to take off again and ask her a few more questions, the world opened up around her. With a small yelp of surprise, she snapped a picture of the black enclosing around her. It failed to clear it away, and moments later she was engulfed.
Quote:My name is Omni. This is not the world you know.
With a white figure fading into view, the blackness around Hatate eased up a small bit.
Quote:This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it.
The white silhouette spoke, face featureless save for a wide, toothy, and equally white grin. With every fiber of her being, Hatate wanted to scramble for her phone, which was no longer in her hands, to take pictures and ask questions. Like why was she here? Who was he? He had said his name, but it wasn’t a name she knew, and so she knew nothing about him besides that. Yet even with her intense desire to do so, she didn’t even feel like she was struggling. As if her body itself was sleeping.
Quote:The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”
These sentences had an air of importance to them. Wishing that she could move so she could write them down, or note them in her camera, the tengu listened carefully. A formless lump emerged from Omni, shimmering with all the colours of the rainbow. The white figure gave that orb a name, Omnilium. A material which made up this world, the Omniverse. With it, you could shape the world. As long as you had it, you would be reborn.
With that said, Omni faded away without so much as a conventional farewell, leaving many, many questions Hatate had unanswered. She figured that he probably wanted her to figure this out by herself. Guiding people through such things could get very boring, after all. The world around her faded away once again, the all-consuming blackness lighting up, and becoming the same featureless white that Omni had been.
Finding that she could move once again, Hatate eased her way to her feet, not sure how her body would react after the sleep-like paralysis she had just emerged from. Looking down at the white ground at her feet, she searched for her camera. The yellow-checkered object was easily found against the dull white background, and the tengu happily stepped over and picked it up off the ground. She flipped it open again and searched through it, seeing if any more pictures had been taken during her abduction.
Hatate let out a small, annoyed sigh. The only picture between her last interview and now had been the pure black photo she had taken in a panic. It was entirely useless, and so she wasted no time in deleting it. Though there were no photos from the transition, that didn’t mean that she shouldn’t take them now.
“Everything’s so white,” she said quietly, taking notes as she looked through the viewfinder. “Despite being empty, it’s kinda noteworthy in that emptiness. A pure emptiness this large is totally suspicious.” Of course, the very fact that it was featureless prevented her from getting a decent shot. With white to all sides, her pictures would simply look overexposed, and no one would believe them.
Dropping her camera hand back to her side, Hatate turned to face the one thing that broke up the infinite white. A large statue of a dragon god, formed out of grey stone, stood inside a pool of water. Raising the viewfinder up to eye-level, the photographer snapped a quick picture of the top half of it. One nice advantage to this featureless white was that she didn’t need to account for the sun. The camera made a small click as it cycled the picture into memory, and Hatate brought it back up. While it was a nice, clear picture, it was only one. She’d take a few more, when she was a bit further away and could get the entire statue in the frame.
Turning her head to gaze back over the endless expanse of white, the tengu thought about where to head to next. Now that she was thinking about it, the endless white wasn’t so endless. Objects dotted the horizon, and while she couldn't discern what they were from this distance, going to see them would be better than staying here and wasting away.

Paul wandered, still not entirely sure this was not a dream of his. Perhaps dreams had more power here and, if so, he was blurring the line between reality and dreaming. His prescient visions, aided by his mentat mind’s perceptive abilities, told him this was no dream but he had wandered on the dreamscape so frequently and in such a vivid way that he could no longer tell the difference.
The sleeper walked among the waking world of the Omniverse trailed by a stout man with an inkvine scar on his jawline.
“My lord... I still do not understand.”
“All will be revealed in time Gurney.” Paul said, his blue in blue eyes hidden deep in a hood of green that he wore over his stillsuit. The troubadour warmaster was rebuffed but did not speak his mind further. Paul had recently tried his hand at summoning a secondary. It had been an... exhausting task. He had thought long and hard on who to summon. Should he call upon his love, Chani? Upon his father for support? Upon Duncan for his sword arm? No... he felt that he needed guidance more than anything right now and none offered it better than the ugly lump of a man who followed him through the forest of this archaic world. What he needed now was a loyal man and Gurney Halleck was the most loyal man to house Atreides he knew.
“Well then, at least tell me where we are going. I will make arrangements for your security my lord.”
Paul turned on the Gurney, but not cruelly. He looked at his man, a face he had not looked upon for several years. Paul had thought him dead and... as far a he knew he was. Had Paul summoned his spirit back from death? Was this really Gurney? Paul did not know but he knew he needed the warrior’s guidance. Paul smiled a soft smile, a softer one than he had given anyone but Chani in years.
“Your a good man Gurney.”
“T-thank you m’lord?”
“You will learn soon enough where we are going. I am guided by things I do not truly understand. It is a wind Gurney- unseen but felt. I will follow this wind and when it blows me to where I must be, I will tell you.”
The bald old soldier shrugged to this and laughed his hearty belly laugh.
“Lad, you are a strange one. I’d not say that with contempt either. I find strange men live far longer than boring ones and it is often the mark of greatness. That it is so with you, I have no doubt.”
The brawny, disfigured, man spoke with such casualty but that was a privilege well earned and paid for in the blood of his family’s enemies. Paul laughed, a smirk at first but later he relaxed and let himself chuckle at his warmaster. This was why he had summoned Gurney- not only for his sword and his mind- but his soul. No other man in the universe could make him laugh one minute and save his life the next.
So it was that they reached the mighty city of Minas Tirith, having walked for several days. Instinctively Paul knew he could have summoned forth a means of travel but he felt... right walking. He walked because it was familiar, because it put him at ease, and those were things he needed right now in a world as archaic and strange as this.
“This is where the wind has blown us Gurney. This is where we must seek out a great man.”
“A great man?”
“There are always great men in great cities Gurney- it remains to be seen if this great man is a man of great morals or a man of great cruelty however.”
“Aye m’lord. Let’s go find out then...”
Quote:TL;DR: Paul summoned Gurney Halleck to his side and has just arrived at the gates of Minas Tirith, having walked it from the gate.
