Character name: Lord Zedd

Character source: Power Rangers

Character history: Lord Zedd rose to power nearly ten thousand years ago. After the defeat of Zordon, which he played an instrumental role in, the forces of darkness were left to compete only with themselves for total domination of the known universe. Lord Zedd waged wars for control, and eventually ended up with a sizeable Empire in what became one of the bleakest sectors of space. He was constantly battling the other forces of darkness, however, which kept him and his army sharp and ruthless.
 
Word reached him that Rita Repulsa had escaped from her prison, and was in battle with Zordon, who was reaching through space from another dimension to aid a new team of Power Rangers, different than the ones that existed several milenia ago on the planet Eltar. Zedd swooped in and took over the battle with Earth, and attempted to crush Zordon and his team of heroes.
 
To his great surprise, he was unable to gain any traction on the Power Rangers. They thwarted him at every turn, and his schemes became increasingly desperate. To add to this, his domain shrank and was conquered by the Machine Empire in his absence. Eventually the machines came to Earth, and with superior numbers, drove him away.
 
With few followers left, Zedd was forced to become a vagabond. He lurked and waited in the shadows, seeking the right moment to strike against the machines. To his great pleasure, King Mondo also had no luck against the Rangers. It was in a moment of weakness that Zedd struck, assassinating much of the high council and forcing the machines to retreat. He was in no condition to battle the Rangers yet, but his point had been made. He was back.
 
It was while celebrating his victory, and returning to his throne room on the moon once more that he was whisked away to the Omniverse.

Starting Moves: Z-Staff (300) – Lord Zedd’s staff is a six foot long metallic rod that he uses in hand to hand combat, and also as a conduit for his magical energies. At the top is a stylized metal “Z” that he sometimes releases spells from but is also sturdy enough to strike and deflect blows. At the bottom of the staff is a point that is sharp enough for stabbing or impaling. Zedd dissolves his staff into thin air when he is not using it, and when summoning it to the battlefield it only takes a second to materialize into his hands. This durable staff is his go-to weapon.

The Dark King of the Crystal Empire had just managed to dig himself out of the ice. Due to being kept under the ice he was unaware that one of his enemies had mutated herself into an Alicorn with the aid of an old spell. Reaching out with his magic he attempted to sense the world as it were to see what was going on. As it was the Crystal Empire was still under the control of both of the pretenders to his throne. Correcting said issue was going to take time that he didn’t have presently. But something that he had never expected to happen, happened. Somehow a ‘rip’ in spacetime consumed King Sombra.  The next thing he knew he was floating in a void fo pure white.  “Where the hell am I?”


The voice of Omni could be heard. “My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”


Sombra paused for a moment. Someone more powerful than him had taken an interest him in him? Chances are if the person was able to bring him to wherever the hell he was, King Sombra betted that the person could kill the princesses easily. Gaining control of the individual was definitely in the best interests of King Sombra. After all with the power the person possessed,  King Sombra could return to Equestria and conquer the entire place. “Fine. I’ll entertain you until I possess enough power to control you.”   When he saw the sphere of Omnilium in it’s rainbow colored marble like state he closed his eyes. This Omni asshole had brought him here against his will and was essentially holding him hostage. While he was not normally a good guy,  Sombra knew that someone had to put an end to Omni. But in order to do that, he’d have to regain his powers as he couldn’t even do the most basic of spells right now.


Others were going to be competing for the power from what this ‘Omni’ had told him. That was not going to be good because Sombra was not powerful enough to take them on. What good was a king without soldiers to command? King Sombra had no armies and any chance of making armies had died the moment he arrived in the Omniverse. For he was stuck here and could not reclaim his home. There were things he could do here.  “Fine. If I must, I’ll seek out and eliminate the others in order to claim their powers for my own.”

Awakening near a Fountain with white stretching in the other directions,  King Sombra was confused. Was this some trick by Celestia? No. She didn’t have the magic to do something like what had happened to him. Plus he doubted she was the kind of pony who preferred jokes. So Luna was also out because she was the Princess of the Night. Discord could be a possibility but such a thing was beyond the scale of any pranks. If this Omni individual were real he made even the princesses look weak by comparison. The mere existence of such a power made him more than a little concerned actually for his own safety. Such an entity could will him out of existence if he didn’t amuse the guy.  So he’d have to amuse the individual in order to preserve himself alive. At the same time he knew he had to get stronger. “So to recap. I’ve been stolen from my home by someone who makes the Alicorn Princesses look like foals. This is most certainly not good. At least all he seems to want is amusement. Well if it’s amusement he wants,  I’ll oblige him.”  

By oblige him,  King Sombra planned on killing the individual at his first opportunity because he didn’t like being in the power of someone else. If magic worked against such an individual King Sombra was going to have to learn more about the power of magic, a lot more in order to make himself stronger. Yet when he checked through his arsenal of spells and attempted to cast, none of them actually worked except Nightmare Force and a spell that allowed him to assume a new appearance. What the hell? Bringing him here was bad enough but actually stripping him of his power? This was a new low even for this Omni individual. Still what was lost could be eventually regained with effort on Sombra’s part.

Searching the area for anyone who looked remotely useful Sombra attempted to gather magical energies to his horn. When none were able to come,  Sombra facehooved. This Omni individual had stolen the bulk of his dark magic and left him with only one spell. Such a thing was unheard of by Sombra. Not anypony he knew could steal the power of someone like this and make them completely and totally helpless. Well not helpless as he still had one spell, that of nightmare force at his disposal. It wasn’t as effective likely without the full range of his powers. 

“So to recap. I’m in a strange new world…”  His eyes wandered around the environment and he noticed bipedal creatures of a sort going around on two legs. What were these creatures? He couldn’t..even sense magic from them. Though he’d probably lost the ability to work most of his magic when he was brought here. Losing his powers like he had was a sick joke and one he was not entirely sure he liked. Omni may be powerful,  but he deserved a swift buck to the face because Sombra didn’t like it when he didn’t have anything he could do. Being helpless was not anyone’s cup of tea. Speaking of a cup of tea, Sombra could really go for one right now.

“... and my magical abilities are limited. Oh and let’s not forget,  I have to ‘amuse’ someone named Omni. Could this day get any worse?”  

There was a question one normally never should ask. Fortunately for the dark king, the answer was no. Nothing happened, and he breathed a sigh of relief.  “There has to be somewhere I can build a Crystal Palace for myself. I’m a King after all,  and Kings must have a place to stay.”

A yawn escaped his lips. Oh right,  King Sombra hadn’t slept since before he had been imprisoned within ice by the Crystal Heart. A good meal sounded lovely for King Sombra and so did some tea or some coffee. Omnilium could be used to make anything, if Omni was to be believed and so Sombra hatched a plan. It could perhaps be used to make a portal back home. But after several attempts, he sighed and facehoofed. “Omnilium cannot be used to make a route back home. So it looks like I am on my own.” 

There was more that he’d need other than a fancy kingdom to call his own,  King Sombra was going to need subjects. One of the names the ponies of the Crystal Empire had called him suddenly came to mind. If he was the King of All Monsters, Sombra knew he was going to need a lot more strength for himself. Conquering a place in order to build a crystal palace for himself was going to require that he learn how the ability of Omnilium worked. But there was more to it than a basic knowledge. In addition to that,  he’d have to learn to blend in.  One of the locals from Camelot approached him. 

"Are you a Unicorn?" asked the little girl who had approached him. "If so,  can I pet you?" 

Indignity atop Indignity. First the Crystal Heart was 'kind' enough to put him under the ice for thousands of years. After that someone named 'Omni' had pulled him here against his will. Those were things that could be resolved. But when the girl,  a bipedal thing he assumed that was a girl anyway asked to pet him Sombra could no longer hold in his anger. This situation had to be resolved. "NO!"   At his shout,  the girl ran away in terror. Fear was much better than positive emotions,  and gave him a bit of a wicked smile on his face. Now at least he could focus on what he needed to do. Shelter was a must, and he knew he'd need his armor as he didn't have it with him. Using some of the Omnilium he possessed,  he recreated his armor and crown upon himself. 

In the past, OV has allowed betting during certain sagas (I think last year people were allowed to bet on who they thought would win).

I was wondering if I could create a 'dead pool' for the members of my faction. I want to basically allow members to bet wages on who they think the next mercenary to die will be. The winner of the bet will take the pot.

Overview:

• Purpose
  Primary Mercenary Syndicate exists to provide the various factions and groups assistance in their endeavors. We do not do make enemies (we do not burn bridges); we make business partners. Our ultimate goal is establish a network throughout the Omniverse, with bases in each verse.
  
• Politics
  PMS is a democracy—everyone has an equal voice. While Deadpool is considered the del facto leader, this is solely based on the 'behind-the-scenes' work he claims that his writer conducts. Difficult decisions will be voted upon, or members may vote for a particular person to make decisions on behalf of everyone.PMS believes in socialism. Members are expected to contribute to the growth of the faction, and those who have more OM are expected to give a little more.

The exit from the Tangled greens felt pretty rotten. Jak lost another home due to his untrusting attitude due to not being a villain but it lasted for a good one day.  Shades of dark started to fill Jak’s heart and he began to start feeling anger at everything and everyone again except those he cared about.

Daxter… Torn, they were off doing some menial tasks of their own while he was off on his lonesome self.

Jak found himself wandering the streets of Coruscant again after traveling back to the Nexus and entering the portal, landing himself on Tier 1.

The streets filled with people were filled today, along with Stormtroopers as he growled at himself.

This unintentionally brought bad memories as he focused on an old enemy named Erol, that bastard who promised to destroy him and the world.

A fiery red headed man soon appeared in the city named Coruscant. He happened to be on the other side as he slipped down a mask on his face, with red eye holes over it. Erol wasn’t no slipaway man. He was a Commander for a reason but he had revenge plans on the hero known as Jak.

Erol’s eyes scanned the white stormtroopers walking the city as he pushed through the crowds until he reached some sort of “lab” of some sort. He had just ran into it by accident.

The man knocked on the door loudly.

A man slipped on his lab coat inside, stretching. “May I.. help you, stranger?”  

Erol eyed the back and crossed his arms “The Empire needs someone strong, Am I right?”

The man’s eyebrow went up “So… what are you saying?”

Erol smirked “I have a enemy that’s interested in your program.”

‘What are you talking about?”

The long eared racer turned and said “His name is Jak, and I believe… he might be someone worth your efforts here...in the empire. “

The man eyed him “Why this man?”

Erol said
“Easy, he has strange powers named Dark eco and I’ve seen the effects it does on people…”

The man turned walking back and forth “So you got me interested, did you want to observe the study?”

Erol crossed his arms “I was a Commander and helped with the Dark Warrior Project back home. Perhaps some help would be appreciated?”

Warren was not in the best of moods. Of course when one couldn't even come up with a basic idea of how to build an underwater base such a thing could potentially sour the mood of the individual. But that was not all that had happened to Warren. No, it wasn't. For during the course of his stay inside of the Omniverse, a series of horrible events had befallen Warren. Originally the first thing that had went wrong was when he had went to Coruscant. There when he had attempted to build a sword for himself the Storm Troopers had meddled. It wasn't just that they had meddled however because that alone could have been forgiven. Chances are even if he could build an electric fucking fence for his base, it wasn't going to do him much good given Primes could likely walk right past if as if the trap was not there. Angrily he started marching from where he was near the Fountain towards the gate of Camelot. While he may have initially failed to learn magic he was not going to fail a second time. 

Words escaped his mouth like an angry swarm of bees.

"Fine. It seems I must go back to Camelot even though I have no desire to.   After all I'll need to make myself grow stronger than I am presently if I'm to survive here. Hell I might even build a couple of new weapons for myself." 

For there are no line quest I'm doing.
