Quote:A Different Kind of Relief
Hiro's car exited out the gate from the Moors, trailing exhaust and smoke from the damaged engine. Those cobblestones were hell on the wheels, and he hadn't had time to repair it before the battle. Afterwards, he just wanted to get the hell out of the misty, oppressive verse. Next stop, The Fountain of Infinity.
The hacker opened a window, running a finger through his hair and feeling over the ripped patches where Kerrigan had severed his dreadlocks. Fucking bitch. It would probably take him a while to regrow hair. Did Omnilium count that as "damage"? In any case, he'd be wearing it shorter for a while. With any luck, there would be a packet of his cigarettes in the glovebox, and thankfully there were.
He took the drive slow, inhaling deeply on the Sunshine Slim and blowing turquoise smoke out of the window. His body ached and he was pretty sure he was still bleeding through the makeshift bandages the apothecary in Darkshire had dressed him up in. Hopefully Okor would take his time regenerating. Hiro could camp out for a few days and work on some of his side projects. And speaking of side projects....
The dashboard lit up with a translucent blinking light and a heavily distorted message tone. He was getting a call? Not from Commander Caasjuun, that was for sure. She didn't take the courtesy of letting it ring, and it wasn't coming through on his EPD channel. Maybe someone answering that old ad of his? He poked the button and accepted the call.
"Hiro Protagonist, wetwork, coding, and electronic countermeasures. Who's this?" He coughed a bit at the end of his introduction, his throat still raw from the smoke and stench of the battlefield. That would be remedied soon.
"Yes, hello? Mr. Protagonisr, you don't know me but I read your study on the nature of data transmission to physical mediums in the Omniverse." After the hacker had done his experiments on Colonel's biodata after Dante's Abyss, he'd published his findings on the Dataverse, mainly because he felt the information would be useful to other programmers or Primes that made use of such things. "Quite interesting work, and something that leads me to believe you would be very interested in what I have to say."
Hiro kept driving, taking another long drag. Wasn't like there were any other cars on the road, so to speak, and the fountain was still a good ways off. "And that would be?"
The techno samurai heard papers being rustled and shuffled. "There is a shadow organization here in the Omniverse known as Nebula. They have been using the same sort of process as you worked on to convert Secondaries and Primes into powerful servanfs, using some form of nefarious dark power. Each verse has been infiltrated by their agents, and they work from hidden pocket dimensions to spread their influence. Obviously, they must be stopped."
A groan from the driver's seat. "Really? I am literally just getting back from playing Savior Hero to a town of medieval peasants, and it's immediately back to "Save-the-world" mode?"
Dr Regal chuckled. "If you prefer to see it that way, then yes, I suppose you could say that. However, I have a considerable number of resources at my disposal. There will be a reward. And you won't be taking it on alone. I've put a call out for any other Primes who wish to assist in liberating these verses from Nebula's influence."
Hiro was silent for a few moments, finishing his cigarette and spotting the shape of the Fountain in the distance. Dr. Regal was just about to speak again when Hiro interrupted him. "Fine, I'll do it. How do I find these Nebula punks?"
There was another, louder sounding beep on the dashboard, and the car slowed for a second before regaining it's speed. "The hell was that, Regal? You just hit my OS with 50 Terabytes of info!" Thebgood doctor cleared his throat. "Data for physical items takes up a large amount of space, Mr. Protagonist. I've sent you the schematics for a device which will assist you to that end, along with any other information I have on them. You'll know the other Liberators by sight, because they'll be wearing these devices. Good luck, Hiro. Regal out."
Well, that settled that. Another grand quest to save the verse from forces of evil. At least now Hiro had something to do. And the reward wasn't a bad incentive either. He pulled the car up to the fountain, parking it and turning off the engine. Walking around to the back of the trunk, he popped it and pulled a bottle of Darkshire Porter, still icy from the cooler section, and cracked the wax covered top, toasting the Fountain and the return of the plague marine. "Well now, Okor....your turn to help me."

This website is reserved for my new webcomic, Omni and Pals! Expect new updates Mondays and Fridays! It's going to be hecka cool! Here's my list of characters:
Omni: God of everything, he's like a player and stuff! But he's also secretly a loser. Everyone knows it, but he pretends no one knows it. It is so much fun!
Guu: Omni's girlfriend, she's kind of there, I don't write girls very well.
Doomguy: OMG, do you remember those old Omni vs Doomguy videos? Those rocked! I thought of this webcomic when revisiting those recently.
Stacy: She's here because lesbians rule! Otherwise, don't expect much from her because I don't write girls very well.
I hope you enjoy the first strip coming soon!

What do you guys think, should we have a space verse?
For flying spaceships in, and so on.
The real problem is, how would one make such a verse work in OV, given there likely wouldn't be planets there 'n so on..
Gates in the sky? Just fly up 'n you end at a space-gate? Tricky all in all.

| February Monthly Accolades (Until March 22nd) |

It has been a very active and eventful February here in the Omniverse.
For those of you who are unaware, the Accolades involve nominating (and later, voting for) those who have outdone themselves in a particular area each month. For variety's sake, the categories for each month may be different.
You have until March 12th to nominate your choices. After that, we will proceed to the voting phase where members will vote among the two individuals with the most nominations for each category. An exception to this is if someone manages to get 5+ more nominations than the runner-up, in which case that person becomes the winner by default.
If you wish to participate, think of who stood out the most in a particular category this month and post your choice, along with a 2-3 sentence long explanation, in this thread. You are not barred from nominating your own characters/threads, nor do you have to fill out all the categories.
The winners will become this month's "Community Stars". And what benefits does this bring? Here is an explanation, courtesy of Alex:
(07-26-2016, 11:34 AM)Alex Wrote: As part of being voted as a Community Star/User of the Month (I use the terms interchangeable mainly because Community Star is less formal-sounding than User of the Month), these members gain a color (you must select this in your User CP) and access to the Omni-World R&D forum. In the past this was my pseudo-private forum, but it's now a place for myself and others to discuss the Omniverse. This is also the meeting place/brainstorming area for Story Aides and Story Guides, so for all intents and purposes, winning an accolade lets you become a pseudo-Story Aide for the duration of your reign.
Forum access is for the month following a member's selection as a Community Star, and this is irregardless of which 'accolade' you were selected for.
And the categories are:
‘Best’ Character – Which character has you engaged the most?
‘Best’ Writer – Which writer wowed you the most?
Most Helpful – A staffer or a member who gave you amazing feedback on a story or was simply there to help you sort out some of your problems.
Rising Star – Which up-and-coming member stands at the crème of the crop? (must have joined within the last month and a half or have less than 8000 OM)
'Best' Assault on Darkshire Thread – Given the amount of nominations the 'Assault on Darkshire' received during last month's Accolades (when it wasn't eligible yet), it would likely be redundant to seek 'Best Story' nominations for this month. So instead, we are putting the various threads that made up that event up for a vote. Which of the threads impressed you the most?
'Best' Death Scene – Last month saw a lot of PvP combat. Needless to say, that entailed a lot of death scenes on the part of the victorious (and sometimes, not-so-victorious) parties. So let us hear it. Which unfortunate demise left the biggest impression on you? (Though I'm unaware of any banishments occurring, they too would be eligible for nomination)
'Best' NPC – What non-player character (can be a site, personal, or story NPC) entertained you the most (for whatever reason). Please note who the 'owner' of said NPC is, just in case I am not familiar with them.
Purple Ribbon - Consider this a bonus category for nominating someone who, while they may not be the best and have all the twitter followers, you believe deserves to be recognized for what they bring the the Omniverse. (The winner must be a DIFFERENT person than last month's winner; the January winner was Ezrihel)

As Deaman walked though the gate he had exited though meer secounds ago, he thought about what Shion had said, the way his actions were said out loud like that, made them seem, wrong. Of course, he wouldn't have known any better, even when in universes where people could and would defend themselves and others, Desman always ended up alone with someone who couldn't, maybe It...
'Desman, Stop!'
'Huh?'
'Look, I do understand your points of veiw, I'm literally connected to you. But you can't beat yourself up, this universe has completely different rules then all the others. Just look at the shot you fired for an example, that was pure magic, in the others one overpowered the other, or they were in a constant clash, here they can peacefully coexist. You did what you thought was right, and that all that matters, no one can blame you for not understanding, especially when no one explains"
'I guess so... also how long has that guy been following us for? '
Since we left Shion.
Of course... Des turn around in a very similar way to when he first met the girl, the person didn't seem bothered by it though. "You do realize I know your following me, right?" Des shouted out.
"That's good, it means I won't have to catch up to you." The guy chuckled responded, as they moved closer, features such as their ginger beard, short stature and red glasses stood out, the rest of his face was covered in shadows by what looked like a cross between a labcoat and a raincoat. "But to be honest, I wish I didn't need to." The man's voice became more serious us went on. "As you may have seen, the omniverse has been invaded by, 'Dark' forces. The lost soul you faced is proof of that, and, if nothing is done, well, it wouldn't be pretty."
"Why are you telling me all this?" From tone alone, you could tell Des wasn't playing around.
"Because I'm requesting your help in the matter, or more accurately, Dr. Regal is. I'm one of his scouts, given the mission to find primes for assistance, and to collect Dark chips and power before they fall into the wrong hands."
"Then in that chase, I'm not interested."
"Why, I saw you help that girl..."
"That's exactly the reason why. It cost someone their life."
"I see, but the person that inhabitanted that body died a long time ago, all you fought was pure darkness controling a husk of who once controlled it."
The robot sighs. "I know I going to regret this but..." It almost sounded like Des was going to give an explanation but cut himself short. "What can I do to help.
"Well, a vehicle to get to The lab faster would be a start."
On it. The robot layed his hands out like he did the first time, if Des read Omni's context correctly, he should be able conjour a car in the same way as the photo, it did seem to be taking a longer time though, yet The robot felt deep inside that this is the right time, the keys soon being solid in his hand. Des opened his eyes to see A mini in the same shade of red as him, a wheal chair rump slowing extending on the right side into the passenger seat, it wasn't exactly what he had in mind but it would do. "Oh, and you have drive." Des said, throwing the keys over to the bearded man. "It wouldn't really be any faster then working if we used a specialy made vehicle that used my wheels."

The S.S Behemoth barreled its way out of the gate with a whistle, puffing smoke into the air as it exited into the dreary wilderness of the Pale Moors. Trees raced by, and before long, the gate faded into the distance. Boris held onto the railing and gazed at the scenery, slightly overwhelmed, considering that he had been brought back to life literally half-an-hour ago. Bendy, however, was not impressed.
He'd like a riotous place with all his friends-- maybe with a little theater where he could reenact all of his favorite skits. The Pale Moors had none of the above. What on earth did Alph have in mind when he suggested this place? Considering that he was already quite far from the entrance though, he figured that it was worth looking around for a while before going back to The Nexus.
The fog that permeated the air was almost nostalgic-- if he disregarded the trees rolling past, he could imagine that he was on a river, much like the one during his first test animation. It wasn't much, but even though the reason for their creation was selfish, it was a memory the cartoon held close to his heart; it was a beacon of a simpler, happier time.
A jolt immediately woke him from his daydreaming, almost knocking Bendy off-balance. A giant tree stood in the way, the bow of the boat wedged into its bark. The little devil huffed and smacked the steering wheel, spinning it wildly before walking over to where his wolf buddy had been admiring the area. Boris was no longer there, but when the inky creature looked down, he saw the lupine sprawled out on the dead, bluish grass.
"Whoops! Sorry, Bo," he said, hopping down and assisting his friend back on his feet.
"No problem," Boris replied, dusting off his shoulders, "but I was telling you to move out of the way."
"I was daydreaming," he admitted, glancing back at the boat. "At least you weren't hurt."
"Yeah, but now we're out a boat." The wolf walked over to the tree and knocked his knuckles on the wooden vessel. "It'll be mighty hard to pull it free."
The demon placed his palm on the stern and paused. "I made this out of Omnilium. You think I can turn it back into that?"
"Worth a shot."
Bendy closed his eyes and focused, imagining that the boat was no longer there. When he no longer felt the ship pressing up against his hand, he opened his eyes again and it was indeed nowhere to be seen. "I'd summon it again, but..." He glanced around at the ever-increasing canopy of trees. "I don't think we'd have enough room to ride it safely."
"I reckon that would be a problem."
"We can just summon it again once the forest thins. Now come on."

Character name: Oswald the lucky rabbit
Character source: Epic mickey series (with a bit of oc)
Character history: Oswald was the defacto leader of the Wastelands (Where cartoons go when no one remembers then) and the thinner disaster happened. Oswald lost his girlfriend Ortensia to the blot, Oswald at the expense of his girlfriend. Go forward some time to the start of Epic mickey one, Mickey gets kidnapped and taken into the Wastelands with the magic brush. Mickey has a heart (the thing you need to escape) and goes to look for Oswald. Oswald and mickey become great friends and save the wastelands. Oswald though trusting mickey almost completely still makes a deal with the blot and the mad doctor.
The deal was that mickeys heart would be split (Oswald got half and the blot and the mad doctor got a quarter each, if mickey started to thin the wastelands.) Same things happen in epic mickey 2. But in the forgotten game of the trilogy, mickey goes full thinner mode and becomes the scrapper version. Oswald gains the power of the wastelands to take the brush and heart of the mouse from them. He uses the paint to save his girlfriend after taking the brush from mickey. And he was teleported right as he was heading out with most of the wasteland into the sorcerers workshop.
Ps: Oswald knows about Walt Disney and his other creators or owners such as (universal, etc.) He has enough knowledge to know about future releases from Disney corp. so Mulan, The dwarfs, Donald duck, etc. The one restriction to the rule is if its the original version of someone.
Physical Description: Oswald is probably about three to five feet tall (it is not known how tall exactly he is)
![[Image: hqdefault.jpg]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/rEc-5eWtHDc/hqdefault.jpg)
His major weapons:

Stats:
ATK:2
DEF:5
SPD:1
TEC:2
Starting Proficiencies: Ranged proficiency (1000)
Starting Powers: Flight (1800), Hive mind (400), disassemble (800)
Starting Moves: Mickey's paint brush (300) (requires ranged proficiency)
The brush is about a foot for the wooden handle and two inches for the actual brush. Oswald can choose between two modes. Thinner and paint. (paint and thinner will reverse the effects done on each other, paint is rp fodder at the moment)
Each mode can hold on its own 20 gallons of paint (about one minute of continuous spraying with major effects shown in minutes (rp fodder)) Once a mode is out of paint/thinner it needs a special type of thinner/paint that refilling in a battle is impossible.
Thinner mode: Thinner turns the top part of the brush green and he fires with one hand on the brush a fairly accurate stream of thinner. The thinner is quite acidic, burning away anything after a few hours (for wood and stone esk items) and a few days for after industrial revolution things. The concentration is fair due to him not wanting to get thinner on him, as he is made of paint, and he has to aim is brush as his paint/thinner amount is limited. Debuffs are that he has a limited amount to work with and the brush cant thin primes well. (the most they will get is slight scars and burns at the moment)
Paint mode: Paint is fodder as of now, it just lets Oswald get to higher places and create doors (such as luci can) The concentration is major do to what he is creating on the fly. He may thin painted objects with ease (his own objects)
Remote (300) requires ranged proficiency
Oswald holds in one hand a silver remote, the dementions of the remote are 4 inches in length and three inches in width and a inch in height. He will press a big red button with his other hand (cant dual wield the brush and remote) and creates a continuous of electricity that reaches a max distance of ten feet. The concentration is fair compared to the brush, and the exhaustion rate is major. Oswald can drop the remote, and it can break after a fair amount of abuse.
Cartoon split (0) (requires hive mind, disassemble)
Oswald can as fodder have space between his ears to head and arms, tail, and legs to his body. It has no special buffs or debuff's.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct. yep

The Nexus was annoyingly bright and Jak thought he'd never get used to the connecting verse's bright lights. Jak did a trick off his hoverboard and stopped as he closed his eyes. He remembered details about the last hovercar he had crashed in Haven City and it appeared right in front of his eyes.
A small, but speedy hovercar appeared and Jak took a moment to study it to make sure it wouldn't blow up in his face. He hopped onto it and started to speed it up near the guards. After the small ride over across the connecting verse, he stopped at the stormtrooper guards.
Steve and Bob were standing and talking.
"You a Prime?"
"Fresh or Been Here."
"I've been here for years." Jak narrowed his eyes at the guards and they let him past into Tier 1 of Courscant.
