You sit on the stained seats of a Fifth Tier subway car. The rickety old carriage hasn't been serviced by the Imperial authority in ages and as it clacks down the tracks you pray silently for the day you can afford an apartment outside the 34th Precinct. You are wearing a modest length dress that reaches midway down your shins. The pale white skin above your ankle is freshly shaved, giving only the minimum hint of almost virginal sexuality. A floral pattern is printed across your chest. You're single and hoping to find Mr. Right, but you know better than to ask for trouble on your evening commute.
The train car isn't packed, but all the seats are filled and a handful of men jostle against each other while hanging on to the cords meant for standing passengers. An old woman who stinks of piss sits alongside you to your left. Her lap is covered with plastic bags full of tin cans and dumpster dived treasures. As she twitches through a dream, you clutch your purse a little tighter.
A curly haired man sits half awake directly across the aisle from you. He must have gotten aboard the train at an earlier stop since unlike you, he was able to stick his luggage in his neighboring seat, sparing himself the stench of some homeless old hag. The man looks barely older than 20, but his white face is a little smudgy in the way that all the itinerant poor look in Corsucant. Hutt graffiti has been sprayed on all the walls inside the train car and the big puffy curls of the man's hair obscures some dirty word on the window behind him.
The train pulls into the next station with a wheeze and a mechanical voice crackles through an ancient speaker announcing the next stop, “Fulcrum Park.” As the momentum of the subway gradually fades, the man's neck snaps with the lurching stop. You watch him bat his eyes open, startled to now be awake. He looks around the train car through his bleary eyes, then suddenly realizes you are staring at him. He looks at you in the dumb way people do when they've just risen from a well needed nap. You smile coyly. He's cute, in his own way.
He rubs an eye with one hand while the other stays firmly atop his luggage. Blinking, he smiles sheepishly back. You don't want the man to get the wrong idea so you glance at your watch, as if the current time interests you more than him. He looks away, perhaps getting the message.
From the corner of your eye you watch the man adjust the luggage that sits beside him. The stop must have nudged it a bit, and the man is very intent on keeping it firmly in place. The luggage is a large wicker basket about three feet wide and two foot tall. A simple little metal latch and pocket lock keeps the lid on the top shut. After arranging the basket on his seat to his satisfaction, he again places the weight of his arm on it's lid.
Passengers get off at Fulcrum Park, but very few new ones take their place. The night has grown late and you are slowly moving past the terrible crime ridden neighborhoods of the 34th Precinct and nearing your own stop on the Westside. Crime syndicates rule the streets there, but at least the mafia bosses enforce some semblance of order. You wrinkle your nose at the urine soaked woman at your side. The curly haired man flashes a knowing smile at you, and you stifle a shared and secret laugh between the two of you.
The train bucks and weaves along the tracks as you pass through a tunnel and the lights within flicker out. You clutch your purse tighter and your fingers twist around the leather strap as well-warranted fear grips your heart. Punks and thieves often rob or grope young ladies during these quick blackout moments. The homeless woman doesn't stir, which keeps you more at ease, but you can feel eyes staring at you from across the aisle, peering through the inky dark, intermittently illuminated by bright flashes through the window of the train car as it passes emergency beacons along the rail.
There are two pairs of eyes drilling into you and they feel like pins sticking into your chest. A millisecond of light shines through the train window, reflecting onto the dull but leering eyes of the curly haired man. Within half a gasp, the man's face is once again hidden in the darkness, yet you can feel, you can see the devilish amber glow of a second pair of eyes burrowing into your soul. Through the narrow slits of woven twigs, you see the malevolent eyes within the wicker basket.

Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”
Omni hands you a glimmering orb in which all the colors of the rainbow coalesce. “This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.
“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn.
“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”
Quote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-zjQIzyTx4
You wait and watch, omnipresent and omniscient as the curious lump of flesh and bone holds the glimmering orb within its misshapen palm. With curiosity, you continue to observe it while it concentrates on that manifestation of your own divine power. With a revolting roar, the deformed creature wills a human being into existence.
The human looks normal and wears a tattered old khaki jacket and a dirty pair of jeans. His curly hair is unkempt and his face seems confused and disoriented. You watch the pair from the unseen reaches of space that mortals cannot comprehend, yet wonder what why this abominable monster would summon such a mild mannered young man. The man blinks his eyes, looks at the hideous creature, then to the floor like a dog showing subservience to its master.
You have seen countless Primes walk through the shimmering halls of the Nexus, and with morbid interest you realize you have never seen anyone or anything quite like these two. The revolting blob of scar-tissue bares its fangs at the 20 year old man and a low grunt escapes what may be called a throat. Again, from thin air, the creature you have brought to the Omniverse wills another object into existence from the orb of omnilium that was bequeathed to it. To your uncommonly delightful surprise, the monster has summoned a three foot by two foot wicker basket at the foot of its new companion. What could such a mundane object be for?
The rumbling sound croaks out of the monsters lips for a few seconds and you watch as the man nods obediently and grasps the sickening creature in his arms. You have stared into the souls of so many travelers, yet this one truly perplexes you. You sense a shared emotion between the two. The normal looking one seems to hold a sort of brotherly love and affection for the creature he holds in his arms, and as you contemplate the relationship further, you recognize that within the disgusting mess of scars and sinew, the monster's face looks shockingly similar to the man. Perhaps they truly are brothers in their own world?
The creature squishes wetly within its brother's arms as the fleshly lump of its innards press against the khaki jacket. You look deep into the soul of the monster, and suddenly feel the desire to retch. You do not, you are a god after all. You feel malice, hate, envy, and sadism flow through the creature's black soul like a tidal wave of filth. You know the creature feels these things for not only society, but towards even the normal looking man that holds him; these feelings taste like the sooty ashes of a thousand burnt cigarettes or the dried flecks of blood on the lips of a strangled corpse. Deeper still within the creature's evil heart you can feel an even more powerful well of hate, despair and masochism; these blackest of emotions you know it feels for itself and its miserable life.
The man places the creature gently into the wicker basket, picks up the load, then begins to almost robotically walk to the gates of Corsucant.
As they draw further from the fountain, you can't help but wonder if gods are capable of mistakes, and if you have made one in unleashing this onto your world.

After taking the like cage imposter to the medical wing, Blair’s doctor instincts kicked in as she made sure Marcus held down the dead alien. Nobody could be sure.
That's when moon Knight entered the med-bay, clearing his throat.
“Ms. Williams”
Blair said while looking down at the skrull body “What's up? I'm a bit busy at the moment.
Moon Knight said “ I would like to personally train you in fighting so next time a threat like this won't hurt you this much.”
Blair smiled and looked up “this sounds Interesting, Marc. Give me a moment as she looked at Marcus. Watch him.
“Blair, I got to debrief in a few.”
Marcus sighed and summoned a piece of scrap metal, wrapping it around the skrulls body.

Character name:
Xana Tanoshimu
Character source:
Original
Character history:
Xana comes from the land of Goraku. More specifically, on the advanced country of Orbis. People there lived a peaceful there, Xana included, until the day their neighboring nation, Matrix, decided to begin a war with them. Matrix wasn't nearly as advanced as the peaceful Orbis, but the power of their weapons was still enough to put pressure on their defenses.
It is at this point that Xana and her friends enter in the story. Xana, Sona and Raita were three common students at the peaceful city and were aware of the current situation that their country has been passing through. There was something that differentiated them from the rest of Orbis' citizens though, and that was their wish to do something to change the situation for good. This small flame inside their hearts was what made them be selected by the gods of Goraku, who sent them special relics with a bit of the gods' power in them.
These items passed undetected by everyone, except to the chosen ones, who went to search the mysterious artifacts. Each one received a different object, signaling their new link with a different god of Gorakun legends. Xana received the Keychain of Perseverance, Sona, the Ring of Progress, and Raita, the Gun of Deception. With the legendary relics on her hands, the girls obtained access to a set of armors that gave them special abilities and also enhanced their capabilities to superhuman levels.
Immediately, the girls used their newfound power to help Orbis' force against Matrix's warriors. The girls not only made use of the armors, but also of a set of CDs, or diskettes in Raita's case, that gave them weapons and even modified their armors, giving them extra abilities like perfect swordsmanship, marksmanship and hand-to-hand proficiency. Thanks to this, they were able to defeat Matrix's forces, to the point that their commander and Matrix's leader, a woman named Nina, had to come out and face the girls herself. Her sole presence was pressuring, to the point they acknowledged the fact that if they fought her, she'd definitely get trashed easily by the commander. Raita, unfortunately, was a bit too proud and hotheaded to fall victim to her pressure though, and went to attack Nina.
The battle lasted roughly a few minutes. None of Raita's weapons affected her opponent, who either dodged them or used her sword to effectively block them. However, at the climax, told them something that shocked the girls: "You're not the only ones that were chosen by the gods, weaklings." Afterwards, Nina summoned an item from thin air. It was a card, but not a normal one,it was the Card of Treason, one of the sacred relics sent by the gods of Goraku. Using it, Nina received an armor as well as a set of cartridges, which worked just like their CDs and Raita's diskettes.
Now wearing the enhancing armor, Raita immediately became no match for the immense power of Matrix's leader. It only took the woman the remaining seconds of the match, to completely defeat the fellow relic user. Upon defeat, Raita's sacred relic hovered away from her hands and towards Nina, who crushed it after it got to hers. Fortunately enough, Raita was still alive and it seemed that Nina had no intention of killing her now that the girl had lost the relic. The rest of the group were both shocked and angry, but after witnessing what they did, it was crystal clear that they were no match for the powerful commander.
Xana and Sona thought of retreating with Raita, but Nina could, and most likely would, chase after them. Their options were scarce, either fight and probably lose or yield to Nina. However, just like her relic's title, Xana would never give up, so she stood in front of both friends, looked behind towards Sona and told her to take Raita back into Orbis. Of course, the latter, barely conscious, had saw through her plan and immediately told her to not do what she believe her friend was about to do. Xana just stopped looking back, facing an stand still Nina, and repeated what she had just said. Having realised what her plan was, Sona doubted about doing so or not, but ultimately decided to carry her wounded friend and make a run back into the town. Obviously, Nina tried to chase them as they did, but she was stopped by Xana, who was ready to sacrifice everything in order to keep them safe. Thus, putting an start to the, most likely, final battle for any of them.
Both Xana and Nina immediately made use of their strongest CDs/Cartridges: The Fantasy CD and the Adventure Cartridge. Afterwards, they began an exchange of long-range attacks that eventually turned into an intense clash of close combat. This went on equally-sided, until each one finally unleashed their ultimate moves. On one side, Xana's was the Astral Break, a legendary sword tech used by a powerful warrior on ancient times, while on the opposite, Nina's was the Eternal Blaze, a technique only usable by those linked to the great hero of Matrix. In the moment their attacks clashed, an image flashed on their minds just seconds before it happened: It was the figure of what seemed to be an being with six mechanical wings. After that, both attacks finally clashed head on.
The strength of their attacks was so great and so similar, that the ground began to shake violently. No one could overcome the other, until Xana began to receive the energy of the citizens of Orbis, all thanks to Sona's ability to pass energy from one being to another one. With all the power of her country flowing through her body, Xana made a miracle and slashed through Nina's Eternal Blaze, cutting the woman and her relic in half almost by accident. Being a kind girl from birth, Xana immediately went to see Nina, but was too late as the latter passed away seconds after receiving the fatal wound.
After approaching to Nina, Xana then began to feel her body weakening fast, to the point she actually fell to her knees because her legs couldn't support her any longer. The immense amount of energy was more than her young body could ever handle and now she was paying the price for it. Eventually, her body wouldn't even maintain on her knees and she'd fall to the ground, unable to move at all. Her relic then began to disappear in small, shiny particles. Ultimately, her eyes slowly closed, as the image of a black-armored girl fighting against a crazy-version of Nina, flashed in her mind. Her mind then all vanished to black and she stopped breathing; Xana, the user of the Keychain of Perseverance, passed away.
Physical Description:
![[Image: 2Q4Wea5_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=high]](https://i.imgur.com/2Q4Wea5_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=high)
Xana is a young, 16-years-old girl. Her body is slim and she's fairly dark-skinned. Decently-sized breats, thin waist and plain legs can be observed as well. She is 5'5'' tall and weights about 120lbs.
Her face is round and ends in a pointed chin. Facial details include her slightly thin eyebrows, round and light blue-colored eyes, an small and oval-shaped nose and a mouth with somewhat thick lips colored pink. Her hair is colored purple, though its original color if black, and it's long down to her back.
More often than not, Xana will be wearing her sacred armor. It consists of a gray bodysuit with the emblem of the god that had selected her on the chest. A similarly gray jacket with round sleeves that have the same emblem on them. At her neck, Xana has a gray choker too. At her waist, a gray, folded skirt comes out, which reaches to the middle of her thighs. A pair of black kneesocks and gray boots finish the armor. Be aware that despite not looking like a real armor, it's as durable and resistant as one, after all, it's a sacred gear sent to her by the gods.
On fights, a gray gauntlet will appear over her right arm. The gauntlet is mostly normal, but its arm guard has an slit that can be opened for her special CDs to be put inside. Another gadget that appears on battle are a pair of headphones, these are gray-colored and have her god's emblem at the back, and they work to amplify sounds or alternatively, to block them. The headphones also bring a cyan visor over her eyes that shows a map of the area and also several red points that pinpoint the location of all life beings in the area.
Stats:
ATK: 3
DEF: 2
SPD: 2
TEC: 3
Starting Proficiencies: Physical Strength (1000 OM).
Starting Powers: Basic Super Jumping (300 OM), Basic Enhanced Senses (1400 OM).
Starting Moves:
Station Blade - 300 OM
(Physical Strength Proficiency)
Named after the god that selected her. To bring forth this weapon, Xana has to summon the Slash CD first. Summoning the item takes roughly a second, putting it on the reader at her gauntlet takes 2 and almost immediately after, the sword will materialize on her hand.
The sword is black in its entirety, though with many details colored in different colors. The most interesting point to mention about this sword is the non-pointed end of the blade, which is rectangular instead. The blade is 2ft long and about 3in wide, weighting just a couple pounds in total. Thanks to its sharp blade and low weight, the weapon allows for quick and very deadly strikes. The sharpness of the blade is pretty durable and grants the blade the ability to cut through most things, especially thick ones, without the weapon losing its sharp.
After Focus Strike - 300 OM
(Physical Strength Proficiency)
For this ability, Xana needs the Focus CD. After putting it in, she begins focusing most of the strength of her muscles into those on a single arm. To build all of this power takes about 3 seconds and must remain still as it takes place. When it has finished charging, her arm will start to shine with a faint blue light. Afterwards, Xana releases the stored energy as a very strong punch with enough raw power to break boulders or thin layers of steel. As an after effect of sorts, though it only lasts for a few seconds, her arm will become useless due the numbness.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct. Yup.

Quote:Continued from here.
Hunter had to admit, his wolf friend had made an interesting point. The fact that their lives seemed so... parallel in various ways made him wonder if they were destined to meet. One was a human, happily married, living peacefully, and empathetic, the other a wolf whom died fighting and can keep a cool head in even the most dangerous of times. The fact that they played off each other like that couldn't be a coincidence.
And so when Sylvan suggested teaming up to discover a way to return home, the apotropaist was in agreement. "Oh, of course! I'd be honored to have you by my side! But I suppose the first order of business would be to find somewhere to call home, in case our goal is impossible. I hope we can go back to our homes, but I'd be a lunatic to just assume that we can even do so."
The gate drew closer, and the duo passed through. Blankness was replaced with earth and sky, and now the mechanical equines dashed along a well-trodden dirt road. After almost an hour of traveling through the white, lifeless landscape of the Nexus, the change was very much welcomed. The brunet glanced around, taking in the sights-- there was some mountains off in the distance, as well as a bunch of trees surrounding the fields that they were currently trekking through.
"Looks like we picked a good place," the orphanage owner chimed in. "So let's see if we can find a town."

Gaaaaah what a motherfucking day, dude. I'm all freezy and worn out and shit. That death show thing was stressful as fuck. Almost bit it. Again. But alaaaaatsh, that blissful sun is sitting hiiiiiigh up in the sky, sharin' its warmth with the world. Feels good man, out here in the Frozen Fields. I summoned up a wicked looking hoodie with some soft fur lining the insides. A whimsical swirly purple smoke design covers the back and chest, and I swapped up my ripped jeans for some old school polka dot pj's.
I'm cozy as fuck, bro.
I'm just chillin, checking out some stuff on the dataverse. Waiting for Straaaawwwwso. Lil angry dude sure does take his motherfuckin' time. Hope Karkat doesn't mind though. Have they met? I don't think them dudes have met. Hm... yeah that is gonna be one interestin' thing that happens. Worried that maybe KK has been a wee bit lonely off in Jade's tower, like some kinda Rapunzel and shit. Don't even know how long he's been up there, ain't no telling where this human girl went off to and how long ago. Just downright ignoring the responsibility of taking care of a Karkat. I don't think she's all up and ready for that responsibilitay.
"Gamzee!"
Whazzat?
"Whuzzat?"
"Quit daydreaming. Let's get a move on, your friend is waiting for you right?"
"Ahaha! Whazzap, buddy bro of mine? How ya feeling? Did you die? You dead? Are you dead!? Oh. My. God. You're dead ain't cha? You a ghost? You like my motherfucking spirit animal or some shi-"
"Gamzee," my best human friendo says with a wry smile and a shake of the head, "I'm not dead, dumbass. I'm right here. Very physical, very alive. And nah, those fuckers never caught me after they singled you out. What about you? You aight? Not dead?"
"Nah, brother," I snicker, returning his smile with a cheeky grin of my own, "I got some tricks up my sleeve. Did get my ass beat though."
"Shame on you," he scowls.
"Ah ah ah! You didn't let me finish. Got my ass beat right after I beat his ass! Well, sorta. I dunno man, I don't remember much of that fight. Lots of white. Lots of shocks to the brain. Wasn't very motherfuckin' chill at all."
"Well, as long as you fucked him up as much as he fucked you up, I'm proud."
"Yeah," I yawn sheepishly, "I still want a rematch though. One where we're both fresh and frolickin' know what I'm saying? Motherfucker was kind of a bummer." Strazio nods. I take that as approvaliciousness. Oh! I almost forgot.
"Yo, Straz," I start, reaching into my beautifully bottomless pockets. "had some time while I was waiting on ya, made you some sick new threads. Figured you'd want something that wasn't all torn to shreddles and bloody. Plus, pretty fucking cold out here. You's gonna want this."
I toss him an old school bomber jacket made of a dark brown leather. The inside is coated in a white wool, should be hella comfy out here in the frost. He catches it with an appraising look before slipping it on.
"Fucking righteous..." He says. I give him a hopeful look.
"Saaaayyyyy iiiiiiit," I say with a wink.
He shakes his head for about the fifth time in the past two minutes and gives in with a sigh. "...Bro."
Fuck yeah. Now we're on the motherfuckin' move.

Vladmir woke up, in a strange position. He looked down, seeing a normal nose and, beyond that, hands. Human form. It made sense, and accounted for the strange amnesia he felt. The werebear remembered nothing of the night before, which was easily explainable in his human form; he had probably been out drinking for too long. He moved to stretch his arms, and found himself shackled... not as easily explainable. He tried to move his head to look around, but found that, too, unable to move. Settling for looking ahead, he focused his eyes, seeing the unmistakable little green, imp-like figure of a goblin. Several of them, in fact, all holding spears or clubs, and all looking at him with a murderous glint in their eyes. One turned to another and grunted, the other one turning back after he did and making a growling sound towards the back of... whatever they were in. Stepping out from a hole in the wall, another goblin, even smaller than the rest, stepped forth, brandishing a knife marked with some kind of symbol. The goblin hobbled up, clearly nervous, and held up the knife, pointing it at Vladmir's stomach. One other goblin grunted towards the smaller one, causing it to jump. The little goblin nodded, pushing the knife toward Vladmir. Panicking, Vladmir flailed, shacking the chains, but the goblin continued pushing the knife forward. The other goblins began grunting with some strange rhythm, a chorus of savage sounds emanating throughout the building. Vladmir began to panic, unsure of how he would get out of this situation.
