Greetings Omniversians.
You may or may not have heard of the new game Dark and Light. It's what all the cool kids are playing nowadays. Here's the website for it.
https://www.playdnl.com/
Basically its a survival game made by the people that made ARK. Except instead of sci-fi dinosaurs its set in a medieval fantasy world with magic, elves, dragons, and the like. Pretty dope game if you ask me.
At any rate a buddy and I have sunk about 40-50 hours in the game these past two weeks and we were looking for some more friendos to join our group. We're looking at moving to a new server so you'd start on fresh footing with us and we'd be wanting to do a reasonable amount of PvP and base raiding.
If you're interested, hit me up, I just ask that you have access to discord and a microphone for communication porpoises and are generally a mature human bean.

San Yi had been in a sour mood ever since he had first heard that Might had died fighting an unknown Imperial Prime. He itched to avenge his... if not subordinate, his brawling buddy, which was almost as good. But that said, "Imperial Prime with blue eyes and black hair" wasn't actually all that descriptive.
He had visited the abandoned street where the two of them fought, and simply stood in awe at the destruction. Buildings destroyed, craters deeper than a foot dug into the ground. Scorched spaces and ripped-up walls. He found the imprint of Might's body forced into concrete, and saw evidence that Might had kept going for quite a while after that.
The superhero had been holding back, San Yi realized. None of the orcs who died in their raid had been ones who had been taken down by Might. Might never left corpses in his wake, except the innocent victims he was fighting to avenge. But this...
Might had been trying to kill this Imperial Prime, whoever he was. What had this bastard done, that was worth Might breaking his no-killing rule? Either that, or perhaps he was just so powerful that Might could go all-out without fearing that his opponent would die in the process. Whatever it was, it wasn't an opponent San Yi thought it would be smart to fight.
When he returned to his base, he threw himself into his work, trying to distract himself from the frustration. The rebuilding of the Mantis dojo was in progress, but the streets were in chaos more than ever. The Westside alliance, the maniacs, had declared open war against the Empire. Ding Wu, in particular, had been hit hard. His Flip habit was hard to indulge when the Hufflepunks had vanished from their usual plots. Beside that, Ding had been on good terms with the Westside, and was genuinely saddened by the death of Princess Hellstab. San Yi could sympathize, at the very least. It wasn't like he had anything against the Deathblades in particular, and it was a sad thing in general, the death of a child.
But the bounty was going too far in his opinion. 100 OM to every Imperial Prime? It would bleed the coffers of the Westside dry, and it made the cops mad. It made the Empire mad, and that was bad for everyone.
San Yi looked over an expansive map of the massive Tier Five. A pin, with the Flower painted on it, had been poked into each dojo in the city.
They had almost every gym, dojo, school, and training center in Tier Five under their control. The few the didn't still had their protection and symbol, at the very least, even if they didn't keep safehouses for members, and didn't hide drugs for them.
There was only one that didn't.
It was a martial arts school in the heart of the Westside's territory, the first point against it. The second point was that what it taught wasn't an art that had ever been taught on Earth- although there were rumors that this particular school also taught Tai-Chi briefly. The Floating Lotus Posse didn't discriminate, exactly, they allowed non-human members, and even fought to the death for their sake- their vengeance for Master Mantis was proof of it. But on the whole, the members were mostly human and mostly Asian. The regulars at this dojo- well, they weren't.
The Mighty Bat'leth Dojo. It was a hotspot for Klingons all over the Westside. They trained in the art of dueling with the savage-looking blades, and also served as training camps for the Mighty Westside Klingons.
Koloth the Mighty and his Mighty Westside Klingons were known throughout Tier Five as people to stay away from. They were mostly legitimate, not pushing drugs, no kidnapping, no sponsored prostitutes- but then again, Klingon prostitutes tended not to be popular with non-klingons. It wasn't that Klingons were unattractive, it more had to do with the fact that you had to pay triple for the "No Permanent Scars Guarantee".
What the Mighty Westside Klingons were was not your typical gang. They were closer to Yakuza, community planners and protectors; offering bodyguard service, bounty hunting, and mercenary work. They acted very much like the Lotus, working hard to guarantee the safety of the neighborhoods around their headquarters. They had an ethic that San Yi respected. It was such a shame they tied themselves to the Westside and their loose cannon leadership.
In truth, San Yi had given up on recruiting the Bat'leth Dojo long ago. It didn't fit the Lotus aesthetic, and seemed too much trouble for its worth. But after causing that mess with Skullcleaner's Southsyd Ork Warryorz he had been counting on All Might's support. The Orc Mafia would likely be putting the Floating Lotus Posse on their shit-list soon, and San Yi had been okay with that, with Might as his Ace-in-the-hole. But now that the Prime was gone and might not be coming back for a while, San Yi was feeling less confident. They needed more people. A lot more people, and not just rookies, dangerous, strong, disciplined fighters. People who would do well by the Lotus name.
People like the Mighty Klingons.
Luci had cowed them into joining, hadn't she? It was practically legend, on the streets nowadays. "Westside: Join or Die" could have been the gang's motto. And she had numbers, and weapons, and equipment, and she herself was a slippery bitch. He could understand how she had pressured them into joining. But the Floating Lotus Posse was more Koloth's style, weren't they? San Yi hoped, from one master of martial arts and as fellow men trying to uphold honor on these streets, that the Klingon might be open to their deal. And it wasn't as if the Mighty Klingons had a probelm with fighting orcs. Koloth had been at war with the orc mafia since before he joined the Westside.
San Yi pulled a Lotus pin, and stuck it into the map, right above the Bat'leth Dojo.
"Oh, Ding Wu?" San Yi called.
"Yeah boss?" the Chinese time manipulator asked, entering San Yi's office.
"How about you and I go pay the Mighty Klingons a visit?"
"You think they might have any Flip?" Ding asked, very interested.
"They might." San Yi said in reply, "Are you ready for a fight?"
"Sure, boss." Ding Wu said with a smile, "How many men we bring with?"
"None. Just us... but be sure to give Akane a call, and tell her to send one of her watchmen our way, just in case we need reinforcements."
"Will do." Ding Wu made to leave the room, but he stopped just outside the doorway, "Uh boss?"
"Yes?"
"Bat'leth is martial arts, right?"
"We'll see." San Yi said cryptically.
"Um. Alright then."

It's been almost two months now since I first arrived in Harnburg, and the urge to cast off this charade of collaboration and raze the entire valley to the bedrock has reached new and feverish heights.
Since I exterminated the elvish encampment in the western forests I've spent my days in thorough, fascinated exploration. I've walked the streets and back-alleys of every town and village beholden to Harnburg Castle, observing and interrogating their denizens as they've gone about their various plebeian pursuits. With only minimal prodding, the structure of this place has unfolded beneath my probing crimson gaze: as word of my presence, the Duke's public sanctioning of my activities, and Chatterly's creative embellishment of my deeds has spread, the reticence of the gormless populace has evaporated. They've become positively eager to discuss their ultimately meaningless lives.
I've learned of scrivening, and ironmongery and midwifing (though there are aspects of the last that I find confusing). I know the schedules of the caravans that carry goods between this valley and the neighboring Duchies, and I've listened in taverns as the self-satisfied mammals who drive the wagons told tales of the perils of the road. Thousands of small, sordid (which is a word that positively wallows in its shameful implications) human dramas have made themselves known to me. I've discovered the intricacies of the autocratic political machine which 'His Grace' the Duke William Conrad van Harnburg controls, its aims, participants and methods, and memorized the names and duties of every one of the servants within Harnburg castle; I even know what many of them really think of their masters.
I've discovered more than enough about this land to make its annihilation a destructive masterpiece without equal. I have the power, though my overall potency remains depressingly low. Just picturing it makes my horns crackle with arcs of astral charge, brings a predatory grin - but two factors remain which hold me back, straining against my unfulfilled aesthetic need, neither of which I anticipated when I first set out upon this unprecedented endeavor.
The first is a recurring complication which could strike at any time. The second is a mystery - barely more than a persistent cloying suspicion - that makes me think I may have missed an important piece of context as I've gone about my self-appointed quest to understand (and then to utterly ruin) the Duchy of Harnburg.

A large building sits on a hill in Camelot. To anyone that happened to pass it by would not think it special, but they would be entirely wrong. For inside that building, magic happens. The magic of Omnizon. Inside, orders are placed and packages shipped, hundreds of workers typing away at computers and writing on clipboards. But the real work happens afterwards. The real work is in the delivery, the men, women, and beings of unspecified genders that bring you their goods. These are the delivery people for Omnizon. And this is their story.
Bob woke up in his bleak room, looking around. Everything was grey. Grey walls, a grey bead, grey ceiling, grey floor: for a moment, it made him begin to have an existential crisis, wondering what his life was worth. Until he looked on his wall, seeing a poster that solved it all. "Omni Sez: Don't be depressed! Remember, Omnizon is your life!" the poster said, a picture of a blank silhouette on it. And it made Bob feel completely fine. He leapt out of bed, already wearing his familiar Omnizon employee uniform, grabbing his knife from a nearby table (grey, matching the rest of the room.) He flipped it open, running his finger on the side, drawing blood. Just as sharp as always. Suddenly, he heard a short ding. Reaching down to the table again, he grabbed his Omnizon Employee Communication and Dataverse Device 3000 (patent pending) and looked down at it, the dim blue light of the screen pouring into his eyes. "ALERT!" a message at the top of the screen said. "NEW DELIVERY TO MISTY LAKE! REPORT TO ROOM B-44-7-Y FOR BRIEFING!" And there it was. His message for another package to deliver. Exactly what he had been expecting. Quickly, he rushed over to his closet, opening it up and pulling out his favourite weapons: one pistol, one rifle, and one shotgun. He then ran down the stairs just outside of his room, the door opening as he went near it, quickly running to the nearest conference room: Room B-44-7-Y. As he walked in a hologram popped up and began speaking. "Hello," it said. "You are scheduled to deliver Omnihou 16 to the Misty Lake in Camelot. The van is already loaded with the package. Please comply swiftly." So, swiftly (as the hologram instructed,) Bob ran outside the doors to the building, speed walking (he had already gotten tired) outside to the van.
"ALRIGHT!" he yelled when he got there. "WHERE'S MY PARTNER, SO WE CAN DOOO THIS!"

The air instantly changes as we step into the warm sun of Camelot. Contrary to my previous belief, this world did seem to have some distinct life to it. That, however, was without taking the Nexus into consideration or at least comparing it to this new universe, so to say. It was ripe with greenery and life as far as the eye could see. Plains of crops and dotted forests of trees stood in the distance, creating a peaceful ambiance around the two of us Pokemon.
I take a deep breath, taking in the scenery before moving on. It was truly magnificent. I never believed places like this could exist. Sinnoh is a cold region and much different than what lays before me. Birds chirp not from the gate and the ambient sound of some buzzing insects can be heard as well. My attention is only pulled away by the sound of Umbreon's soft voice.
"I think this is Camelot." She states her observation. "I remember seeing some people from here back in the Vasty Deeps, but not too often since the Empire is in control there."
'So, there are governing factions within the universes? I can see why that would be necessary now that you bring it to my attention.' My voice echoes soothingly around Eclipse's ears. 'Do you know what this is area is like? Can we expect trouble?'
'Most places in the Omniverse are relatively dangerous, but I can't offer much more insight than that. Sorry." She apologizes yet again for something that wasn't even her fault. It was obvious this Pokemon felt extremely inadequate compared to me. An absurd thought, really. That was like comparing man to God.
Nevertheless, I decided to ignore her mood, seeing as how she was still suffering from the loss of her friends back in the Vasty Deep. My eyes glow faintly as I examine our immediate surroundings. Nothing hostile near the portal to the Nexus was lurking, waiting for easy prey to sink their metaphorical or literal teeth into. I should probably be thankful that no one has tried to attack me, so far.
"What's your plan?" The Dark-type asks, looking off into the distance with me.
'I have no course of action beyond finding a quiet place to meditate and attune my psychic powers. This place will do nicely if it's as pleasant on the other side of the fence as it is behind it.' Although I say my goal is to acquire more power and knowledge, my thoughts linger on my ex-trainer. I know for a fact that the act in the Nexus was an insult to his stupid pride. He would not let it go, and if there was one thing I knew about that man, he'll find a way to repay me in full, or at least try. I fear that this could mean I'm placing my newly found friend in direct danger, but she has chosen to accompany me. I doubt she is as defenseless as I might think.
After admiring the view for another peaceful few seconds, we begin to move down the dirt path laid out before us. It's hard to tell with the innumerable hills and tree lines but seems the road could lead us to a large, stone city in the far distance. Whether or not that is in our benefit remains to be seen, as neither of us actually have useful information on this sub-universe. Still, I can't say I'm not having at least a little bit of fun. Through all the dark demeanor I have worn since I arrived in the Omniverse, I am excited to explore new lands and see new places. My only wish is that my original trainer was here with me so she could have the chance to see the amazing things that I'm seeing now. That was merely a happy thought, for what else comforts a lost soul more than their memories?

I've been thinking as of late, while we have a number of d20 games imported from other worlds, we don't really have much in terms of playing as primes. I mean, there's Prime Primadora and Idiot Prime, but those games are more jokes meant to mock. I mean, I don't mean to celebrate primes, but it might be amazing for secondaries to get to feel what it's like to practical be demi-gods for a session!
Okay, here's what I've thought up so far. If I think of other stuff I'll post it in following post. Feel free to post your own ideas for the system!
So for stats, I think we should go with this:
STR = Strength
CON = Constitution
DEX = Dexterity
CHA = Charisma
Strength would obviously designate frontal assaults. Someone like Gildarts would have a lot of that stat. Constitution is for primes that could really take a hit. Dexterity designated speed as well as the power of ranged attacks, and Cha represents how well you can manipulate people.
Also, I think certain powers need to be drawn from certain stats, like I think Healing power works better with Charisma. We've heard of healing primes having a lot of friends, I think it's the requisite CHA that give them that appeal. I also think Flight checks should be done with DEX and so on and so forth.
While we could designate a 10-point buy system around this, I think for best effect, all stats must be rolled. We've seen primes get the short end of the stick *Looking at Isabelle*
I don't think there should be classes, instead we have a long list of powers to buy from with a set ammount of OM we start out with. Powers like Flight or Stretch would all be things we buy at the start or over time as we level. Obviously, we'll get a set ammount per level.
I doubt any of our character would ever get as freaky as some primes with this method of purchasing powers, but we have to institute some balance. I mean, imagine if every prime actually had to buy their powers? A player that actually saved enough OM to power someone like Guu would have to be a closet case with no life! I doubt anyone has THAT much free time.
But I digress.
Summoning will of course be it's own dice roll. We've seen primes fail to summon stuff before, that shouldn't be different here. Haven't decided what modifiers should be assigned to this. Maybe +1 per level on a d10 roll?
And this is only scratching the surface. I still need to decide on Allignments, Verses, and Combat. Please stay tuned for that as I figure stuff out!

Cinder stood and watched as her fellow Blades traveled deeper into the Steppes. In their wake they left a serpent of dust and ash which drifted high into the air only to settle in their wake. Danger hung in the air, acrid and sour. Her nose crinkled with every whiff of it. In one hand she held her weapon of choice, a sword which was more akin to a broken machete. Had Kuzuru asked her to accompany him she would have declined. This was not her battle, nor did she particularly wish to see the demon succeed. His path was one of wanton destruction and while she followed a similar path of violence she was a defender, not a conqueror. As she stood and watched them head into battle her gaze drifted across to a distant corner of the Steppes. A familiar corner. The Coyotle warrior sniffed the air once more and turned back inside. As she walked her pace quickened, each step picking up in intensity as she half-ran deeper into the Ashen Fortress. An urgency had gripped her indeed. She reached her room and flung open the door. Inside she had already filled a leather rucksack with all the essentials needed for several days worth of survival. Around her waist she fastened a series of three water-skins and over her torso she threw a poncho. Her blade was sheathed at her hip and after taking a quick inventory to make sure she had not missed anything the Coyotle girl raced outside once again.
Were she a prime she could have summoned a mount of some sort, but alas that was not a luxury afforded to secondaries. Not that she necessarily minded the walk, her bent back legs meant that she could walk for miles without feeling the slightest hints of fatigue. In fact were it not for the aforementioned darkness lingering in the air she would have much enjoyed the hike. Still Cinder had no choice but to make her way on foot. She followed the carved stairs that snaked their way down the mountain and entered into a brisk jog once she reached the base of the mountain. Some instinctual sense of direction guided the warrior, a sort of internal compass that she had managed to develop over her lifetime kept her pointed in the right direction. As she ran across the Steppes she grew faintly aware of the darkening of overhead clouds. Perhaps it was a simple increase in pyroclastic activity, perhaps not. Either way she had no control over the weather, and kept her mind focused on what lie ahead.
After a few hours worth of travel the girl stopped to rest. Nearby several plates of shale upheaved themselves from the earth and sat basking in the red sun. They formed a sort of ringed formation and offered weary travelers respite from the overbearing sun. She removed her poncho and draped the garment across one of the shaded plates and took a seat. She panted and gorged her belly on water. An unfortunate side-effect of her canine genes meant that she was unable to sweat as easily as a human could. Temperature regulation was achieved in much the same matter as a dog, through the mouth. While she could travel quite efficiently she was limited by the heat, which there was no short supply of in the Steppes. Cinder wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and stood. Her ears twitched and she stood still and simply listened. The far off echo and call of thunder rumbled throughout the mountainous terrain, while the occasional lava surge or eruption added calamitous background noise. Still her ears, biological radar dishes, scanned the horizons. A shuffling was heard. Perhaps it was nothing, but the sound grew closer. Something was being dragged across the ash-covered ground nearby. Slowly she unsheathed her weapon and crouched low.
Movement caught her eye. Something shifted nearby and her eyes locked on. A figure, shrouded in an almost ink-like blackness shambled into view. She watched as the beast carried itself into the ring of shale. Two red eyes, burning like coals scanned its surroundings. It moved again, dragging along its own mangled leg. Cinder watched as the thing struggled to stay upright. She had seen these things on the news before. They were what her companions had set out to fight. With the ferocity of a cobra she unfurled from her hiding spot and dashed her blade against the darkspawn's neck. Her weapon hacked through the viscous sludge that comprised the being's body and cleaved it's head clean off. She watched as it crumpled before her. Cinder sheathed her weapon and grabbed her poncho. As she stepped outside the ring of shale she threw the poncho back on and scanned her surroundings. The creature had made a trail in the ash and dirt, its leg leaving a trench in its wake. She followed the trail with her eyes and her heart sank.
It came from where she was headed.
Without another thought she set forth again, this time with renewed vigor. Her muscles strained and stretched themselves to accommodate her bounding pace. Every stride pulled her light frame closer to her goal at a breakneck speed, and still she cursed her inadequate pace. She had intended to stop once more to rest, but tossed the notion aside. Time was of the essence and every moment she spent mulling about was another moment that those things had to harm her tribe. On the horizon she stopped the pillars of stacked stone that served as her clan's ritual grounds. Further past the pillars her eyes spotted a smattering of tepees. She breathed a sigh of relief, it was still there. Distant figures moved about, and upon noticing her approach, moved to greet her. Her pace did not slow until she reached the edge of the ritual grounds. Cinder came to a halt, panting and grasping for her water-skins.
"Welcome home Cinder Salt," Ahanu's familiar voice spoke, "I was starting to get worried."

The thread ends with Tearen leaving for Dante's Abyss, once again leaving Rebecca with Jade, but permanently this time around.
Thanks again!
