Does anyone else here lift? I have been lifting seriously now for about three months. Since I am unemployed I decided to make lifting my job. Currently I go mon-weds-fri and it's made a huge difference, and has gotten me off my self-pitying ass by constantly doing something proactive. To the point where I am more inclined to feel disgust towards any self-pitying thoughts that arise than indulge in them. It's a big mindset difference. Not to mention the endorphins and the nice physical changes. Lifting has become the thing I look forward to most in the week.
Share your goals, hopes, aspirations, errything. If you don't lift and you post in here, it better be to say "GREG, I WANT TO LIFT, SHOW ME WHERE TO START."
I mean ... gymming general can go here too, I guess.

So, this fights kind of shaking the site a bit. xD
Or at least it seems like it.
I have a post in mind, but since I have 2 more days I wanted to as some questions. if I could just get some answers, i don't care if its from my storyteller or from whoever is available.
I prefere from anyone available so that i can make neccessary changes to my post.
A
I have already sent a PM, but I'm assuming the Ultra Marine is a high powered secondary? I'd gather he is a slow but tough guy, and I only ask so that I don't accidently write them incorrectly. If no one can help me, cool. I'll just try to be respectful.
Another point being: I have Insight.
B
In the post, the Brother Gaius says "no mercy" this time. And just to clarify, does this mean I am getting banished if I loose?
C
Is surrender an Option? - If I am to be banished, would this option end with banning?
D
Is suicide an Option? - If I am to be banished, would this option end in banishing? (I was told that you can't banish a dead body by one person, and no by another.)
E
Do I only have one post, and one post only? - Last encounter I thought it would be the usual 3 posts, and I was wrong. I don't want to leave my post open ended like last time if I only have these 1000 words.

The collector's eyes widened with mild delight as he stared at the sign above the inn: Plush Inn—the letters were engraved into a beaten wooden sign above two ancient redwood doors. Age had assaulted the regal appearance of the building into an ominous mummy of its former self.
Based on the information he had received from one of his hired private investigators, this was a place frequently visited by the ultimate hero. Twice, in fact, which provided enough incentive for Elijah to make the trip personally.
“One step closer to the Man in Red,” he muttered.
His glass cane reverberated against the hard floor of the inn as he entered the lobby, and his eyes began to survey the interior—aged victorian furniture, illuminated by iron candleholders with dying flames.
“Greetings, traveler,” a middle-aged man said from behind the corner at the far-end of the lobby. “Here for a room?”
Forty plus years of life had carved deep crow's feet into his visage, which stretched down to his graying beard. His hairline looked like the top of a valentine heart, and housed waves of forehead wrinkles. The man either had terrible genes to prune so quickly, or he had experienced hardships unfathomable to the modern society Elijah came from.
The collector's eyes rolled towards him. “No,” he replied, “I won't be needing a room today.” He approached the counter, favoring the leg that his cane guided. “But there is one thing you may be able to assist me with.” With his free hand, he retrieved a folded paper from his trench coat's inside pocket, and slid it across to the lobby attendant. “I'm looking for this man; he might've been accompanied by a sugared cookie.”
The man unfolded the paper and beamed a long stare into its content; after a delayed response, he answered: “No, sorry.”
Disappointing, but the collector persisted. “How often do individuals dressed like this enter into this establishment?”
“It's not frequent, but not seldom either,” he man answered, folding the paper and handing it back to Elijah. “Perhaps one of the other attendants saw him though. The same people have been working here for years, so if he stood out they'd remember.”
“Oh, he stood out.”

As Cirno was flying back home from playing with Daiyousei she found her house in shambles. Her face soon was as red as a tomato and she was angrier than what she thought she could be. “I’m going to beat whoever did this into the ground.”
She soon saw a flag was placed on her collapsed house with the faces of three fairies. She created a ice arrow while thinking how she was going to mop the floor with the culprits. She soon found their house before creating a ice bow; and notching the arrow before firing it with a precision that is nearly unheard of in this day and age.
An audible thunk was heard as the arrow dug a couple inches into the wood. She turned around after melting the ice bow. She flew back to the misty lake to get her house made again. Days pass and soon it’s spring. Cirno had completely forgotten about the fairy’s declaration of war that is until she saw the flag again.
She didn’t exactly know where the fairies were and off she went to just start looking for them. Once she had reached the spring path she remembered she could freeze bullets with her ice barrier. She was soon met with a familiar face.
“Get out of my way Lily or i’ll have to make you.” Cirno didn’t have time to mess with other fairies. But if they got in her way they would all face the same fate being cold, broken, and shown who is the strongest. Lily white laughed before she fired some danmaku at cirno causing the ice fae to dodge.
“Calm down, remember we were going to play.” Cirno starting firing a unrelenting spray of ice danmaku tired of the fairies words. In a matter of minutes Lily was in a crater near the spring path; and Cirno was soon on her way freezing cherry blossom petals completely forgetting what she was going to do.
“Ahaha, freezing the cherry blossom petals is no trouble at all! But . . . Where was i going? And why am i going . . . ?” she crossed her arms looking super confused as she didn’t know why she was here.
Soon she heard a voice nearby but couldn’t place her finger on who it was. “I thought there was a huge reading . . .” Cirno turned to look at the voice only to see Star Sapphire looking at the ice fae with interest. “And it’s coming from you.”
Cirno looked like she remembered something. “AH, it’s you! Umm, i feel like there was something i needed to do with you . . .” Cirno couldn’t remember what it was she had to do with the smartest of the trio then Star spoke up once more.
She cupped her hands together before speaking. “If you’ve got the time, won’t you cooperate with us?”
Cirno looked confused at this and went for a specification. “Cooperate?”
Lily looked kinda shocked at Cirno’s question and answered it to the best of her ability’s. “In terrorizing human society of course! Of course we can’t have other youkai helping us so it will be just us fairies.”
Cirno looked extremely excited at the thought of terrorizing human society, it was too a point that Star was slightly off put by it. “Yesterday . . . someone declared war on us. But it doesn’t matter if we surprise them them, our victory will be almost assured, right?”
Cirno could feel her brain going into overdrive as the ice fae was trying to remember something. She had a aha moment before her face grinned cruelly at Star Sapphire. “AHH! I just remembered! I was the one that declared war on you guys! So die!”
Star was completely unprepared for cirno to bezerk; upon remembering that they were the ones who destroyed her house. “Huh?! Wh . . . Wai . . .” the usually calm and collected fairy quickly was stuttering and trying to get a grasp on the situation.
Cirno looked madder than a hornet in a tin can. “YOU SHOULD FEEL THE RAGE OF A RUINED HOUSEHOLD!”
The battle soon started with the two fairies firing danmaku at each other in various patterns. Cirno grinned as Star’s danmaku threatened to hit her. “ICE SIGN PERFECT FREEZE!” She bombed causing the bullets in her way to freeze then disintegrate.
Cirno started pounding ice danmaku into the petite body of star before she pulled out a spell card of her own. “Star Sign “Starlight rain”” Cirno stopped firing and took a look at the situation. She saw little stars going across her field of vision threatening to hit her. She was a little slow at first getting hit once and feeling a bit of her motivation against the fairies of light go away. “You can never beat us Cirno so just join us under our flag. I mean it would take an idiot to not join us.”
At the mention of idiot Star had hit cirno’s berserk button. She stopped her foot on the ground as she screamed. “THE PERSON WHO CALLS SOMEONE AN IDIOT IS THE IDIOT!”
Cirno glared at star with snow white eyes and was laughing creepily. She started to fight harder and faster than what she was normally doing while not using all her power. Soon Star was forced to pull out her second and last spell card. “Star sign “Red Star””
Soon a ring of stars started to fly out in all directions. The stars were fast and curved around in nature causing cirno some trouble dodging them all. Soon Cirno had beaten star into the ground with her foot digging into the larger fairy’s body.
“Umm, there were three of them, yea! I’ll have to strangle the other two, as well. Just to be fair, you know. I oughta punish those who’d disrupt the harmony of fairy society!” Cirno looked too happy at the thought of strangling them by their necks. She was faced with a choice of where to go. The forest of magic or the misty lake.
Quote:I will be doing the C-1 route in fairy wars since that sets up the scene for the marisa boss fight.

Given that the previous topic is now at +80 pages and a bit cumbersome, we believe it is prudent to start a new topic.
Another helpful thread for moves is the Move Creation Workshop. Consider going there before trying to get your moves approved.
Please use the following guide from the Writing Moves section of the Moves Page when describing your move:
Quote:Don't just say "it's an energy ball". Say "it's a weak energy ball which can be used while moving". Let the reader know what it looks like, so they can write it out accurately. So "it's a weak, purple-hued energy ball which can be fired from the palm of the hand while moving". This is still pretty basic, but hopefully you get the idea. The more detail the better (though we don't necessarily need to know the story of how your character trained under robotic monks for twelve years to learn it; that's for your character history).
Here's an example list of things you should consider when writing a move. If you think one of these things is relevant to the move, and not obvious (we know swords can be used to swing and stab, and we know most guns can be shot while moving) then include the answer as part of your move description. It saves the staff a lot of time unnecessarily asking these same questions, and saves you from having to answer them.
• How powerful is it? Does it have a wide area of effect, or multiple projectiles? How big is the weapon? What size are the projectiles?
• *Is it instantaneous, or quick to use? Or is it slow?* (Almost instantaneous? A moment? Several seconds? Longer? Be specific.)
• Once activated, how fast does it travel? (Fast as a thrown ball or slower? Arrow? Bullet?)
• Is it difficult to aim? Must it be aimed at all?
• Can the user move around or do other things while using the move, or must they be stationary?
• Does the user have to keep their focus on the move, or is it 'fire and forget'?
• Does it have effects that linger after the user is no longer performing the move? If so, how long do they last?
• What does it look like? How is it performed? How does it feel to get hit with it?
• Is the move variable, or does it have a fixed method of use?
Additional Notes:
When describing how long effects linger we prefer to use literal timescales rather than "lasts x posts" or "lasts x rounds" because depending on writing style and word count, a single post might last thirty seconds in IC time, or several minutes.
When describing how powerful a move is, try not to use wording like "cuts through skin" or "breaks bones". This is because the damage of an attack may vary depending on your current transformed state, and your opponent's DEF stat in relation to your ATK. It's best to leave this somewhat vague.
Include which powers/proficiencies you think it needs and what price you think it merits (either 300 for a simple move or 600/900/1200 etc for variable moves).
To figure out what proficiencies you'll need to purchase a move, use this quick checklist:
Quote:Is it melee-based? If so, you'll need the Physical Strength proficiency.
Does it attack at range? If yes, you'll need the Ranged Proficiency.
Is the target area big enough to hit more than one target? Can it miss and still do damage from 'splash' damage? If yes, you'll need the Area Attack Proficiency.
Is it a shield which covers an entire person, or larger still? If so, you'll need the Area Shield Proficiency.
Can it be manually controlled by the user at range, like an appendage made out of an element? If yes, you'll need the Remote Control Proficiency.
Can it be manifested at range, like a wall of sand or a pillar of flame? If yes, you'll need the Ranged Materialize Proficiency.
Can it home in on an opponent without needing to be aimed? If yes, you'll need the Homing Proficiency.
Can it boost an ally's fighting abilities in some way? If yes, you'll need the Buff Proficiency.
Does it inflict lingering negative 'debuffs' on opponents, for example by slowing speed or interfering with their senses? If yes, you'll need the Debuff Proficiency.
The most moves you can get approved in advance is 5 simple moves, or 1800 OM worth of variable moves (unless your entire move exceeds that). This is so people don't just dump huge piles of moves to get priced and fixed up, creating lots of work for staff. If you want to get more moves approved, purchase some of the ones you already got approved. Staff may approve extra stuff for you, but have the right to refuse until you purchase moves.
DON'T BUMP YOUR MOVES UNLESS IT HAS BEEN 3 OOC DAYS WITHOUT STAFF INPUT. Especially if you're submitting some enormous wall of text or several moves at once.

Ok, here's my problem. Today i seemed a little quiet but i guess I felt like "not myself". When I get off work, and stuff. Things seem ok and all. But what makes it all worse is trying to take a breath and suddenly I start crying for no reason other than one tiny little stupid thing. I think i might be getting a bout of anxiety and it's bothering me but it comes up at random times. Is there a better way to deal with this than just saying medication?
*sighs*
