So, this fights kind of shaking the site a bit. xD
Or at least it seems like it.
I have a post in mind, but since I have 2 more days I wanted to as some questions. if I could just get some answers, i don't care if its from my storyteller or from whoever is available.
I prefere from anyone available so that i can make neccessary changes to my post.
A
I have already sent a PM, but I'm assuming the Ultra Marine is a high powered secondary? I'd gather he is a slow but tough guy, and I only ask so that I don't accidently write them incorrectly. If no one can help me, cool. I'll just try to be respectful.
Another point being: I have Insight.
B
In the post, the Brother Gaius says "no mercy" this time. And just to clarify, does this mean I am getting banished if I loose?
C
Is surrender an Option? - If I am to be banished, would this option end with banning?
D
Is suicide an Option? - If I am to be banished, would this option end in banishing? (I was told that you can't banish a dead body by one person, and no by another.)
E
Do I only have one post, and one post only? - Last encounter I thought it would be the usual 3 posts, and I was wrong. I don't want to leave my post open ended like last time if I only have these 1000 words.

Being just a wee behbeh staffer I'm not equipped to address all of these. However, I can address some of them:
B: Yes. This should not be surprising.
C: The transgression was coming back into the city in the first place. Surrender, while in a sense graceful, will still end with a banishment.
E: This is a storyteller interaction, not a judged and graded fight. You could think of it as having one post to create circumstances that will allow you a second.
F: Theoretically. Personally, if I was going to defy the Empire I would probably have brought WAY more items to the party - or waited until I had access to T3 supermoves.

To add on a little and answer a few more points, fill in the gaps:
A: High-powered secondary, yes. Very strong, very tough, highly skilled. Far from slow, actually quite fast and agile, though sheer bulk is also a factor.
D: It's an option. You'll still be banished however, as there is a short window of time after dying where that's still viable.
If you see me around and you got questions, just give a shout. I'm happy to assist.

Awesome. Thanks for the help peeps.
Just another question on A
"Highly Skilled" as in probably high in tech, or has a lot of skills and proficencies? Or like bothish?
Depending on the answer I might have another specific question for ya.

Top-of-the-class in terms of technical skill, and proficient with whatever weapons or techniques he happens to prefer, whether ranged or close-quarters.
So bothish.

I feel like you put yourself in this situation and now you are trying to dig your way out of it.

It looks like she has 1000 words to 'dig her way out', so I don't see anything wrong that.

Nothing wrong with the situation that this particular storyteller has put her in. What I'm mildly annoyed about is how it seems like she is asking questions specifically designed to get her to weasel her out of the situation, even though she herself chose this path. I don't know what she was expecting here other then a really tough fight resulting in really bad things.

Yeah, she's given 1000 words 'to weasel her way out'. I would too, if I was trapped in an isoverse with an ultramarine who intends to banish me. There's nothing wrong with asking questions about options other that trying to outbox him. I'm 'mildly annoyed' that you're basically insinuating she's going to get slow-rolled. If she has 1000 words, she has options, and there's nothing wrong with asking about them and getting official answers.

Since you don't have all the information here, I will stop bickering with you about it.

You're right, I don't have all the information.
I request someone higher up than a sprite answer Question F.

Let me rephrase; is there any way Ash can get out of this without being banished? I'm not looking for any specific avenues, just is it possible?

Ha. Nice shade =D. Wouldn't it be amusing if the Storyteller ended up being a Sprite?
The answer is yes, of course it is 'winnable.' Or maybe the correct term is 'survivable'. I'm sure someone 'higher up then a Sprite' will agree.

The answer is yes. In the sense that it is possible, as most things are possible. Whether it's successful depends entirely on the content of those 1000 words you keep harping on about her having.

I'm not Staff, but here's my take. Ash won't win in a confrontation. She just doesn't have any advantages to turn things in her favor. Particularly because of the Isoverse, but even without the Marine knows the area better, Ash has no allies around, and she's not strong enough to take him in a fight.
So, like Blink said, it's not so much winning as surviving. Ash DOES have abilities to help her evade the Marine until the Iso drops and she can escape proper. Don't try to win. Try to survive.

By a sprite, you mean you?
Whatever man, doesn't seem to cool to use the storyteller account for this kind of thing.

I'm sorry, I was being silly in the chat there. I'm not the storyteller in this one, promise.

I'd just like to make a quick PSA, that by nature of their responsibilities on the site, sprites tend to be the most well-read regarding the current events and PCs and NPCs involved in them. Their comments carry just as much weight, if not more, than other staffers.
