How to deal with feeling scared for no reason - Jak Mar - 09-07-2017 Ok, here's my problem. Today i seemed a little quiet but i guess I felt like "not myself". When I get off work, and stuff. Things seem ok and all. But what makes it all worse is trying to take a breath and suddenly I start crying for no reason other than one tiny little stupid thing. I think i might be getting a bout of anxiety and it's bothering me but it comes up at random times. Is there a better way to deal with this than just saying medication? *sighs* RE: How to deal with feeling scared for no reason - PepsiYuuka - 09-07-2017 The only thing that really works for me is sleeping. So all I can recommend is a nap. RE: How to deal with feeling scared for no reason - The Vision - 09-07-2017 Talk about whatever bothers you with someone. Therapist or a really close friend. You might not know what's bothering you, but if you start with that one small thing (whatever it may be... for me, it was once "My dog pooped weird") it'll build to the big thing. RE: How to deal with feeling scared for no reason - Gaston - 09-07-2017 Write things down. Just take out a notebook and a writing utensil, and write how you're feeling. Doesn't matter about handwriting, grammar, spelling, anything. It's like ranting; it just helps you get it off of your chest. RE: How to deal with feeling scared for no reason - Omni - 09-07-2017 Sometimes weird shit happens. You just have an off day. Sometimes an off week, or year. If it's just a day? Do something that comforts you. Get your favourite food, or jank off, or watch your favourite show under the covers. Or all three! I mean, that's what I'd do. But do whatever makes you feel better to get past the shit phase. If it's long term, doing those things every day for years on end may not be healthy, but I'm assuming it ain't. I have these days all the time. |
