  OV Fact: ~26 Active Bases
Posted by: Carmelita - 01-12-2018, 10:13 AM - Forum: The Whateververse, Man - Replies (9)

Hey all! I was curious, so I did a count!

No bases in Ashen Wastes as far as I could tell.

Most popular verse is either Coruscant or Vasty Deeps: Private Islands and Seedy City Bases are popular I guess.

Most bases are owned by someone whose name whose first letter in the first half of the alphabet.

Carm is the only active base in the Endless Dunes as far as I can tell.

So if there are any aspiring trespassers amongst the characters, it is totally possible to trespass on everyone's property!

  Switching: Artoria Pendragon

CHARACTER NAME: Artoria Pendragon (Change the profile name to that one, please? Thank you!)
CHARACTER SOURCE: Fate franchise, TypeMoon Universe.
CHARACTER HISTORY: An alternative timeline, where Artoria chose to use the Holy Spear Rhongomyniad as her weapon of choice, rather than the holy sword Excalibur. As such, her aging was never halted by Excalibur, although she did mutate into a being closer to a Divine Spirit, rather than a human.
Plucked into Omniverse after the battle of Camlann.

STARTING MOVES: (300)
A Sword (300, Physical Proficiency)
Much like the name states, it’s a sword.
By first glance, it doesn’t seem more than a normal longsword.
That’s because it isn’t. It’s by all intents and purposes an utterly regular longsword with nothing peculiar or particularly special about it.
It takes about half a second to summon and shatters from a single strike that has any weight behind it. If it doesn’t meet solid resistance, such as when cutting unarmored targets, the sword may withstand the impact and not shatter on the spot.
A strike contacting with armor, shields or another blade, is sure to shatter the worthless blade without a second thought.
The sword not very taxing to use, nor is it very consuming to re-summon after its evident destruction.
For all intents and purposes, the sword is a sham. A weapon not designed to be wielded by Primes.
Blade length: 103 centimeters
Hilt & pommel: 17 centimeters
Total length: 120 centimeters
Weight.1,4 kilograms.

Stat Upgrade 1 (1000): TEC
Stat Upgrade 2 (2000): DEF

As always. Thanks Angel-chan/kun/senpai/kouhai/existence that is going through this! Have a great day, aight?

  Omnisims: The Abridged Miniseries
Posted by: Kopaka - 01-11-2018, 10:24 AM - Forum: The Arcade - Replies (35)

Holler if you want in.

I'm populating the entire town with Prime Sims this time, so there's no cap on people who might want to join, but I'd still prefer one Prime or Secondary per author. No need to outline your Prim's personality either; I already know most of you.

If you don't know what Omnisims is, don't worry. You'll want to be a part of it. It'll be a while before things are fully set up, so no rush. Still trying to settle on image hosting options and such.

  Fite me!
Posted by: Undyne - 01-10-2018, 05:38 AM - Forum: The Whateververse, Man - Replies (29)

Okay, jokes aside I feel like I've really lost touch with Undyne, but she's not a character I want to let go anytime soon. And I'm feeling like fighting a bit.

Would anyone be up for a Mock Fight? I'm pretty open to word/time limits and a setting if you want one (I'd default to our characters duking it out in Camelot's colosseum or something). Also, we need a judge so if anyone could volunteer that'd be great :frogbon:

  The Square Root of Spy
Posted by: Carmelita - 01-09-2018, 04:58 PM - Forum: Camelot - Replies (3)

Carmelita huffed as she stood in the shadows of a bar, eyeing up each patron as they entered. After returning with the hostages liberated from the Silver Hand, she'd been swift to ask for a meeting with a Guardsman high-ranked enough to discuss her proposal. Upon being denied, she'd decided to try and get their attention with a few more displays of Interpol's finest at work.

That had been a month ago. She'd caught a few thieves, and received a slap on the wrist for doing a guard's work without permission. She'd brought in a list of criminals she'd staked out, only to be told that the majority had died in a brutal gang fight two hours earlier, and that the rest had fled the city. She'd even tried to curry favor with one of the nearby duchies, only to be turned away in favor of a 'more experienced' human detective.

That led her here. She would have given up and left by now, had she not stumbled across a recently used dead drop. Someone had fastened a package to the underside of a bench in an out of the way park in one of the non-human parts of Minas Tirith, and the freshly torn tape had given her a clue. Following that, it had been as simple as asking the groundsman, a spry old squirrel by the name of J'kotter, for descriptions of the last few people to pass by. One of them had been a quadrupedal pony with a scarred eye, a blue mane and tail and an azure coat, the other a seemingly human man whose face was hidden behind a blue mask and wearing a guards uniform.

And that, followed by a little subtle questioning and a few quick words, led her to this bar, hopefully to find out who these two were and what they were communicating straight from the horses mouth, ignoring the pun. So far, no dice. Winged bipeds, a dwarf, a couple of elves, and a centaur, but not a hint of the supposed patron Black Hoof, the scarred eyed pony of blue and azure who came in, supposedly as regular as clockwork, in order to drink a couple of pints of cider and buy a few cubes of salt. Carmelita shuffled the cloak tighter around herself, settling in to wait all night if she had to.

After he witnessed his father's death at the hands of the Helghast as a child during the resettlement of the Helghast in Vekta, he was taken under the guidance of Thomas Sinclair, a Shadow Marshal who raised him and after several years, became a Shadow Marshal himself, graduating in the top of his class as well as becoming Sinclair's right-hand man. As a Shadow Marshal, he is tasked by Sinclair in various missions to spy and gain intel on the Helghast as well as investigate a rising threat in the continuing war between Vekta and the Helghast. He holds some respect and is well known within the ISA, especially its government intelligence branch, the VSA.

Biography
During the resettlement of the Helghast following the destruction of Helghan the Helghast refugees were given half the planet of Vekta as their new home. Lucas and his father Michael Kellan lived in what would one day be New Helghan.

When the Helghast deported several tens of thousands of Vektan civilians out of New Helghan (and killed any who resisted), Lucas and his father attempted to secretly reach the safety of the Vektan side of The Wall. As the pair began their escape, they were avoiding Helghast patrols and drones until they met and aided by Thomas Sinclair, a Shadow Marshal. When the group nearly reached the wall, Sinclair scouted ahead to ensure that the route was clear. However, Lucas and his father were spotted by a Helghast drone, and though they tried to escape, they were quickly captured by Helghast soldiers (with Lucas' father getting wounded in the process). Though Michael pleaded for mercy, he was then shot dead. As Lucas was about to be taken by the soldiers, Sinclair returned and killed his would be captors.

Lucas was then taken in by Sinclair, who would become his mentor and father figure. He would join the Shadow Marshals. At the age of 13, enrolled in Shadow Marshal Academy, and excelled in all areas to finish in the top 2% of his graduating year and working under Sinclair's command.

Lucas came to the Omniverse when he had to fight Echo near the end.

STATS:
ATK:3

STARTING PROFICIENCIES: Physical Proficiency, Ranged Proficiency

STARTING POWERS: Stealth, Master Acrobat, Supression

STARTING MOVES:

M32 Combat Knife( Requires Stealth and Physical Strength),-[Image: %3E]

A sharp, hard hitting blade. This blade is a hardened, wear-resistant cobalt/chromium alloy, which ensures that it has a long life and doesn't chip.Dangerous in the hands of a Shadow Marshall such as Lucas. Standard Issue Shadow Marshall Combat Knife used in continual hand to hand combat. Being a Shadow Marshall, he can sneak up on the back of a unsuspecting victim.

When Lucas gets close enough, he can stealth in and perform two slashes with it, a forehead and backhand slash.

Also useful for cutting down various items.

The enemy must be in close range in order to use the attack.

He can also throw the knife at a enemy.

LSR44 Spoor (Requires physical and ranged proficiency) 600 OM
The LSR44 provides a unique hybrid of carbine and sniper rifle. It's firing mechanism uses an electronic, rail-based technology. The design features open rails to vent built-up plasma to prevent damage to the firing system due to heat. In the campaign, the default firing mode on the LSR44 is fully-automatic.

The alternate fire extends the gun to a shape that resembles a rail gun, and flips up an ACOG sight in place of the default Dot Laser. This firing mode has to be charged, and once fully charged it unleashes a devastating blast. A single shot in 'Sniper Mode' will drain half of the LSR44's twenty-four round magazine. The LSR44 is an extremely versatile weapon in both Shadowfall's campaign as well as its multiplayer, as the LSR44 can transform from a formidable close-quarters machine-gun into a powerful sniper-rifle in a matter of seconds.

The LSR44 is a very strong weapon, despite having no other attachments.

Highway To Hell Story Interest Check
Posted by: Carmelita - 01-08-2018, 09:09 PM - Forum: Omniverse Discussion - Replies (9)

Hi All!

I've got OM to burn, and an idea that won't go away. If I made a Base in the Ashen Steppes with a Teleporter to the Underverse (1500 OM total), a literal highway to hell that appears out of nowhere, who'd be interested in going to investigate? Also, will I get stomped with a Modhammer if I try?
