Electromagnetic Wave Changing was not something that everyone in his universe had been capable of performing. As James Knight walked out of the spa, once more dressed, though this time in a different set of clothes, he remembered the plastic surgery he had one of the people do to him. It had not been cheap certainly, but now he looked different than he had before. There was a lot he had to learn about the Omniverse and life here in general if he was going to ensure that he somehow survived. To that end he needed to be prepared because he didn't know what resources he was going to genuinely need. Perhaps if he was able to even recreate the Mega Buster that Megaman had in his universe he might be one step closer to his eventual goal of Wave Change. In a battle here he would likely be outclassed by anyone who had any real experience which was a shame. 

"Em Wave Change," muttered James, not expecting it to work. True to what he had grown to expect in the Omniverse nothing he had known how to do previously was going to work. This was a difficult pill for him to swallow. Previously he had been able to Wave Change, but now he could not. In addition all the Battle Cards that he had meticulously created from ancient relics of the past were now "all gone" as it were. None of them were likely to work, and even if they did, he didn't have them. His Star Carrier did not exist at present which made things even more difficult for him. 

"Nothing is working...." groaned James as he walked away from the area. Right now he was annoyed that none of his abilities were functioning like they should in the slightest. Of course it was not his fault. No, the blame for that laid solely on the shoulders of someone else that he wished Megaman would thrash. Omni. The pale faced white biped had abducted him, and brought him to here. Wherever here was, actually. Food, clothes and shelter were the top priorities. Once those had been established he could prepare himself for Phase II of his plan that he had just came up with. Treating this situation like an archaeology dig similar to how his old friend Atlas Stellar would work, he supposed.

Essent is back! Again. For the umpteenth time. I seem to like vanishing off the face of the Earth a lot but I'm back craving forum rps and stuff.

It was a few hours after Aquamarine had gotten away from the spa, and as the Gem woman was waiting in the lobby of the security headquarters of Coruscant on Tier 1, she was looking at her wand, trying her hardest at trying to make sure that it was in it's peak condition for whatever she was needed for at the time. When she was imprisoned in this Verse a long time ago, Aquamarine's wand had gone on the fritz, preventing her from using the tractor beam function of her wand to it's fullest extent. While Aquamarine could use the wand in order to lift small objects again, she was unable to lift or stop bigger objects, which had infuriated the Gem a bit.

Eventually however, after another hour of waiting, Aquamarine could see some sort of small creature walking out of the door, looking like a mechanical ladybug to the Gem woman as she looked at it. Before Aquamarine could fully understand what the ladybug could do however, the ladybug quickly opened a hatch on it's body, revealing a speaker as a loud voice came from it. "We are sorry for any disturbances, but some sort of problem has come up within the building, and we require your assistance AQUAMARINE. Please follow the ladybug to where we can safely lend out the details of the things we need you to do."

While Aquamarine was confused at first, the Gem woman eventually shrugged before following the ladybug to wherever it was going, leaving the Ruby she had created during her spa visit a few hours ago alone to her own devices, whether that was good or bad. As the short Gem continued to walk around to follow the ladybug, navigating various random halls as she hoped that wherever she was going, that it was most likely not going to be something serious, such as a invasion. Once Aquamarine had finished following the ladybug, she was in a room designed like the inside of a pyramid, deep within the Security Headquarters and covered with expensive speakers.

Before Aquamarine could say anything however, the ladybug powered off, before another voice appeared seemingly from nowhere, though in actuality it was coming from a speaker at the top of the room. "Ah, thanks for following my ladybug creation. It's not new to me considering I had already built one before I had come to this Omniverse, but it is a relatively new model that I have built for this occasion. Oh, pardon my manners, I should probably introduce myself. My name is Dr. Gero, and your Aquamarine I presume? I think I heard of you from those stories involving the AI chip attached to your hand or something."

"Wait, you know about that?" As Aquamarine listened to the sounds coming from the room, Aquamarine tried to look around to see if there was any origin to the voice, but as she continued to look around for any origin to the voice, she could not see any thing that could possibly make it, besides the ladybug. Despite that however, the gem woman was still curious about this Dr. Gero person, since she had heard that name once before from the Robonoid working at the spa, and now that she was hearing the words from who she guessed was the doctor, she decided to play it calm just in case.

"Well either way, yes I am Aquamarine, science officer on the Empire, and a rookie Prime in the Omniverse. Though, I must ask you, even if for one moment, why would you like to ask someone like me to come here? Isn't there any other person available in the area, or at least a Stormtrooper who could help you?"

"No, I'm not much of a social person, and there aren't any Stormtroopers available since they had began upgrading the security to this Verse, a bit of a wasted effort if you ask me since I think we should devote more of our potential and resources to science, but I digress. And as for why I asked you, well that is simply because you were one of the few people available, since most of the rest are already helping me with another project of mine. Anyway, there is just one simple thing I need from you to help me, and that is to get me some documents in my spare office on Tier 3, and they should be in my top drawer. Once you can do that, I'll open the door to my office in the next room, and we can have ourselves a true talk."

"Wait, so all you need me to do is to collect a few documents from Tier 3? That was a lot more simple then I expected, but either way I will not let you down. Consider those files gotten, Dr. Gero."

"Good." Upon the voice finishing his talk, the ladybug quickly reactivated, before unleashing a loud sound to try to get Aquamarine's attention. As the Gem lady followed the ladybug back through the halls, she could feel a slight tingle going down her back, as if something bad was about to happen to her. Despite the bad feelings however, Aquamarine eventually made it back to the lobby, and as she waved bye to the ladybug robot after receiving a key to the lab from it, she could see her creation, the Ruby, snoozing upright in her seat, a small snot bubble coming from her face.

"Hey, wake up Private Ruby! We've got a important mission here, so I need your help in full throttle, even if you aren't fighting condition!"

From the startling sounds, the Ruby quickly woke up, the snot bubble popping as she tried to jostle herself awake. "My bad, miss Aquamarine, was just sleeping is all..."

"Well dreaming isn't exactly a option for us now. We got to retrieve some documents for Dr. Gero from his office, so we have to leave towards Tier 3 now." While Aquamarine was getting used to commanding the Ruby she had created by now, the memories of her past with her working with Topaz had ended up causing Aquamarine to sigh, due to the feelings of control not being the same. Regardless of how things were going however, Aquamarine worked through everything, her mind on one thing and one thing only: getting those documents.

Through the grapevine, you’ve heard of the star pieces. You also heard that something happened in Coruscant at the same time. As a result of curiosity, you set out to Coruscant to investigate. Unless you are on their payroll, you can expect to be turned back at the doors of the security HQ on Tier 1. If you are a member of the empire, than they will send you off to acquire some reports from Tier 3. When you come back, they’ll usher you into a closed room. At this point, the Storyteller will reveal to you a dark secret related to the star pieces.

Quest Stipulations - Character must go to security HQ on Tier 1. Character must run down to Tier 3 for some private documents and return to Tier 1. Quest may be done more than once but no cannot be repeated by the same character.

CHARACTER HISTORY:
Skye was born in a life of luxury and wealth, the purest of noble blood runs through her veins. And yet, the call of adventure reached into her heart and beckoned her out of the safety of the castle and to the streets.

Her family obviously was against this, and being the rebeal that she was, Skye slipped out one night without warning and into the real world. As a sophistocated woman who knew nothing about how the real world worked, she found her struggles early in the form of no where to sleep but in the stables.

Frightened to death her family offered money in return to anyone who would bring her back alive. And with a street full of opurtunist she was found very quickly. Among them was a royal spy that has always fancied the noblewoman's attention. While the criminals negotiated with the royals, the spy went to work in freeing her his own way.

With gold and favors, the spy paid off many of the lower totem men to allow her to beat them up and escape, in attempts to let her see how dangerous the situation is but to ensure her complete safty. It backfired, however, upon her escape she only wanted more.

After returning to her family and letting them know with flurished detail that she was able to handle herself, she demanded they leave her be so that she can persue her new dreams. This was not without understandably too much arguing, but after a few nights to think of a better alternative, the powerful parents agreed as long as Skye let a page accompany her. Without her knowledge he was much more than that.

Skye put a lot of effort into her new life, making friends with the underworld leaders, training with seedy men, romances with rogues and bards. Almost all of which were planted by her parents in some fashion or another. With the monitored movement she achieved great wealth, credit, and confidence in her ability to kill people. Who were also criminals set to die prior, falling victim to real poisions and her honest deadly aim.

She had been contracted by another nobel, another fake actor in this grand play. Now on his payroll, content that she had landed the best job of her life, she was now under survielence.

However, no one could save her from Omni's abduction. Her dream of being an adventure was about to become truely true.

Skye is able to shoot a bolt from her wrist 10 per seconds. These bolts are the size of common ink pens, but much thinner; Enabling the bolts to pierce anything. Unfortunately they are flimsy and do minimum damage. The crossbow holds a loaded cartridge of 50 bolts, and takes 3 seconds to reload once empty.

Smoke Screen

Skye carries with her at all times smoke bombs that when thrown against a hard surface create a dense cloud of smoke which is three feet in diameter. Visibility is near impossible from one side of the cloud to the other. The smoke lasts for a full 3 seconds before vanishing harmlessly.

Skye has four kunai strapped to her thigh, about 4 inches long, that are made for throwing at her enemeies. Once her supply is plenished she must take the appropriate time to either retrieve or resummon the kunai. They are much slower than her crossbolt, thrown as fast as she is physically able to.

T1 Super Attack: Time Bomb

In a cartoonish way, Skye pulls out a comically large purple bomb with a white jolly-roger painted messily across the front. With the fuse already lit - because she's just that hot. The bomb can be placed carefully into the way of her opponent, thrown towards a group of people, or rolled like a bowling ball into place. Upon activating, its on a 3 second count down. Upon reaching 0, the bomb explodes in purple flames 10 feet in every direction, burning everyone it touches. A large scorch mark is left behind, as well as anything flamable is now on purple fire.

A motorcycle revved through Tier 1 carrying two very different strangers willing to navigate a strange city in order to get priorities straight. A cautious grunt made Lucas point out the back ways of Coruscant to get where they wanted.

But it took a lot longer to find what they were looking for due to taking the “scenic routes” instead of the normal pathways.

Finally after taking what seems like a wild goose chase into account, the building they wanted to go into showed up.

The motorcycle was placed outside and then desummoned for the time being. The two of them carefully got off and eyed the building.

The library looked like a beautiful glass domed with a ever-expanding winding upward staircase area.

As they stepped in, Lucas was more interested in new information.

Echo was close behind him, a little impatient as they weren’t always the “book” types.

Lucas walked the alsies looking for information about the Endless Dunes occasionally searching for a book of information.

There was a whole entire room dedicated to the Endless Dunes. It was going to take a long time to navigate what they were looking for.

Echo looked annoyed almost crossing her arms “Lucas, we should split up. We can cover more ground this way.”

Lucas slowly nodded “Right. But where to start.”

Echo muttered something and turned not answering Lucas. Her first book was “The Endless Dunes and you: What to see and do.”

Lucas searched through several books, occasionally searching for anything that didn’t have to do with Nippur or the Town with No Name.

Echo finally spent time fine combing through one of the books she found, absorbing information.

“Shadow 1-8, over here.”

Lucas heard Echo and raised a eyebrow “What did you find?”

Echo said “It’s a strange find. Is this what you are looking for?”

Lucas nodded ‘Yeah. I believe that is it.”

Echo nodded and looked over at Lucas “I’m going to need you to summon some paper and a pen or so.”

Lucas closed his eyes and a few pieces of paper and some pens came down.

Echo took the pen and drew the image from the book of choice and nodded. “You got the picture in mind and the information that goes with it?”

Hey, so Aquamarine is going to do the Stars over the Omniverse quest, and I need someone to be the Storyteller for whoever is supposed to order Aquamarine to get the documents and tell her the secret (My guess is Dr. Gero). Can someone storytell for this?

I want to give Cassie two new powerful forms based on some of her alternate costumes from Paladins. How would I go about doing this?

Is such a thing even possible?

Enjoying the company of his hosts, Setsu was reluctant to head out into the cold again. Still, it was time. He had asked his questions and received acceptable answers to the matter of his new setting in this Omniverse from the dwarves and it was the proper time to find greater purchase on the broader reality of this strange place.

The target was to return to the home of the fountain and select a new gate. Perhaps there was something greater that might occur when each gate had been entered and properly investigated. He wasn't completely done here, and planned to come back, but the cold wasn't his natural environment as an adult. He liked more the heat and the sun. 

Coming out of the cave entrance and emerging into the cold was refreshing, still, and he expected to miss it once it as gone. 

Then the wind whipped up and chilled him as it did, and his convictions were invigorated. So off he went into the midday cold.

Cassie had always valued her senses.

They had done many wonderful things for her, enhanced by years of training with her fathar. The Legendary Huntsman's tales were unique and as varied as the people in the realms themselves. So when Omni took her from her world and explained that he was 'interested' in her, Cassie had alarms going off in her head.

Whoever this being was, or whatever he wanted, Cassie didn't have it. She was sure he must have been after her father or something, but couldn't find him and so took her instead. It was the only train of thought that made any sense to her. Cassie didn't have time to be some cosmic plaything! Her poor father was sick and she needed to find him a cure. 

Omni offered her no cure. Only his energy, which he called Omnilium or something like that. Cassie couldn't make heads or tails of the stuff, but she had more important things on her mind. Once Omni sent her to some fountain, all she could do was load her father's crossbow and check on Zigs, thankful at least that Omni let her have her best friend. 

The Hunter's Daughter hadn't spoken until she was taken to the 'Nexus'. She found that she was unable to speak, actually. As if Omni took her voice or something. Weird. 



"Alright, Zigs! Let's get going! I don't know where we are or who that guy was, but we can figure that out later. We have a cure to find!"

'SQUAWK!'

"I know. I'm kind of scared, too. But we've faced worse, right? As long as we're together, there's nothing we can't do! Come on, buddy!"

Cassie gathered her bearings and checked her supplies. She seemed to be fully equipped for battle. Zigs was in good health, and her father's crossbow was a clean and deadly as ever.

The wait was over. No more guessing. No more doubt.

Cassie would save her father, even if she had to search every end of this realm to do so.
