"Papers please... right... next."
"Papers please. You're good to go. Next."
"Papers please. Good Emperor, you are quit the daft fellow arn't you? Gaurds, help this man"
"What no! my license is still valid! let me talk to someone, let me ta----", the man would frantically reply, his figure stepping back from the man in the booth as two white clad soldiers came to him, blaster weapons leveled and ready. The citizen would recoil, stepping back possibly out of shock of what had just happened. The soldiers clad in shining, white armor would flank the man, their hands gripping a hold of his shoulders, beginning to drag him off to a nearby, and quite fortified, building.
"NO! I've done nothing wrong... Y-you! Woman, help me!", the man would scream, his weak struggling doing him no good against the strong soldiers. The old man who kindly gave her a ride to the gate was now being dragged kicking and screaming. Miranda balled her fist, her eye tightening shut. She only just arrived in a place radically different from the Ashen. This place was more developed and with a heftier police force. As much as she hated watching the man being dragged away to Omni knows what.
"Next!"
Miranda would open her eye and step foreward, a manila folder containing all of the supposed papers. Her fists clenched at her side, her eye watching the guards as they approached. She would do what she must if the situation demanded it.
"Ah, a research invitation by our vary own Grey Cybernetics Corps.", the imperial officer behind the checkpoint's window would raise a brow, his eyes glancing up at Miranda's towering form. "And you're transitioning from the Ashen Plains to Coruscant, your travel visa checks out as do..."
He'd flip through the papers, looking over the the quite sizable packet , his inquisitorial eye rapidly scanning over her augmentation's licenses. This government were taking no chances it would seem.
"Well then, your licenses are up to date and have quite the buffer to them! I must say madame, I am quite impressed by the work you've put into this transfer packet." ,he'd say with a laugh that just made Miranda's blood sink within her. Positive emotion certainly did not suit this man. "Step into the scanner Madame and stay still, this will only take a moment.", he'd say, motioning to pad centered upon the narrow entrance to the courtyard welcoming those to Coruscant.
Her heavy step fell upon the metal pad, a field of translucent blue light enveloping her in a column. Rays of beams rapidly flowed over her form, the ruby scales of her coat reflecting the light in a mirriad of vibrant colors. The coat itself was quite beautiful, its form catching the eyes of the guards, who quickly retained their military bearing once the officer noticed.
"Very good. You're good to go. I've put an indefinite extension on your visa for dealing with one of are more prestigious organizations. If you wish to obtain a proper Citizenship, all you need is to visit our Naturalization sect. They will help you from there. I will take the additional liberty of sending you digital copies of your papers directly into your interface.", the Officer would explain, his hand waving her off before turning to the next one in line.
"Next."

If someone had told Warren Zimmer he was going to be forced into an itchy outfit that he could barely stand a day ago, Warren would have pulled out the NFL-Laser and shot them 10 times for wasting his time. His situation was not one that the Quarterback of Chaos could have ever anticipated to be honest. As he watched the cars of Coruscant, the Hover Cars that were employed by them drive through the air, Wild Card realized that he needed to get somehow licensed so that he could use his weapons on Coruscant. How was he going to do that? Warren had no clue and approached one of the Storm Troopers after he walked 6 blocks or so from the gate. Really he didn't want to go through the rigoromole of getting his weapons licensed, but he had no choice in the matter. His survival dictated that he prevent Dark Hecate from getting any followers of any sort because she was dangerous enough on her own.
"Excuse me," started Warren to the Storm Trooper. "Do you mind perhaps allowing me to get my weapons licensed? I've got a problem on Coruscant to deal with, before it gets out of hand."

So we know the Dataverse is a thing. We also know people can track the location of computers in real life, and also the locations of cell phones and really other devices as well. What I am proposing is a new mechanic to the game, if the staff would be okay with it. A way for Primes, and others to find each other via tracing the access point they've accessed the Dataverse from. It would not be exact, but would give them the general idea of the verse or in Coruscant's case, Tier, as well that a person is in. Would such an idea be feasible?

When he approached the gate that led back to Coruscant after he had exited the gateway to the Endless Dunes, Warren Zimmer paused for a moment. The "Yandere Lover" could not stop insulting him, it seemed from the messages he read in the Dataverse. Just how developmentally delayed was the individual that he was about to deal with in a less than pleasant way, for what the individual had been doing? Going to an anime store would be out of character for Warren, but he had no choice in the matter really. If he was going to deal with Dark Hecate's "husbando" as he had looked up the term that related to Waifu on the Dataverse before things got worse, he needed to act while the iron was hot. Sure he was not a fan of anime, but there had to be some anime he could find marginally acceptable. At his waist he had the NFL-Laser holstered. Across his back he had the Chaotic Quarterspear Staff. At the other side of his waist was the Buccaneer Blade that he had made for himself. All in all, Warren was heavily armed, and while no one could see it due to his armor was scowling.

CHARACTER NAME: Segata Sanshiro
CHARACTER SOURCE: Japanese Sega Saturn Advertisements
CHARACTER HISTORY: Very little is actually known about the origin of Segata Sanshiro. However, what is known is the fact that he is a master in multiple different martial arts. He has a first-degree black belt in karate, a third-degree black belt in judo, and a fourth-degree black belt in battodo. Back in the year 1997, Segata had taken notice of the Sega Saturn video game console and how poorly it was selling. Segata decided at that time that it was his mission to make the system popular and ultimately save Sega from going bankrupt. And he does so by bringing harm to those who do not spend their time playing the console. But as the Saturn, like all other consoles eventually, fell into obscurity, he has moved on, and now spends his days simply harming those who don't devote themselves tirelessly to a task. He also seems to have a romantic relationship with Sakura Shinguji from the Sakura Wars video game series. Just before entering the Omniverse, Segata had dared to challenge legendary Western martial artist Chuck Norris, which in itself is an impressive feat. The two fought it out to the best of their abilities, and the match was surprisingly close. However, when the winner was just about to be decided, a strange hole in space-time appeared and began to suck the Eastern and Western legends in, but not before they clashed one last time before disappearing, mysteriously leaving behind a constellation in the shape of the two fighting. Although it is unclear what happened to Chuck, Segata had been transported to the Omniverse, where he met up with a being named Omni and began his new journey, determined to show these new and possibly familiar faces what happens when one doesn't dedicate themselves to their goals.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Segata Sanshiro is a man wearing a white karate gi with black hair. He stands at approximately 5 feet 11 inches in height. Video footage of the man shows him roundhouse kicking a baseball for a home run, racing a maximum of 99.9 miles per hour on ice completely barefoot, and winning the World Cup by throwing a player into the ball to score the winning goal. He possesses a supernatural power known as Dragon Force, which allows him to not only duplicate himself multiple times over, but even alter the size of the clones. He's somehow capable of headbutting ten concrete tiles to break them all clean in half, not even flinching when baseballs hit him square in the chest, and on an unrelated note, he can fillet a fish like a pro. His favorite and one of his deadliest attacks is his famous judo throw, where he tosses his enemy away, and they explode twice upon impact with the ground. He also seems to be immune to the laws of physics, as he can stop an incoming missile against a glass window without even cracking it. His catchphrase is "Sega Saturn Shiro!", which roughly translates from Japanese to "You must play the Sega Saturn!"
STATS:
ATK: 4
DEF: 3
SPD: 1
TEC: 2
STARTING PROFICIENCIES: Physical Strength (1000 OM), Debuff Proficiency (1000 OM).
STARTING POWERS: Advanced Super Jumping (500 OM), Master Acrobat (400 OM).
STARTING MOVES:
"Sanshiro Kick!" (300 OM) (Requirements: Physical Strength, Super Jumping): After building up strength for half a second, Sanshiro leaps forward with a jump kick that travels about 20 feet in distance. This is great for closing the distance, although can be hard to land on a moving target. Because he puts a lot of force into the attack, he can end up hurting himself if it doesn't land. This is powerful, but fairly straightforwards and can be easy to dodge as Sanshiro can't change his trajectory mid-jump. Overall, this is somewhat tiring and the actual jump and kick take about a second to perform.
"Home Run!" (300 OM) (Requirements: Physical Strength Proficiency): Segata charges up for about half a second, followed by a roundhouse kick that covers about three feet away from him at 180 degrees. This attack also knockes the enemy back around 12 feet, although this varies a bit based on Segata's ATK and their DEF regardless of size. This is moderately powerful and somewhat tiring.
"Use Your Head!" (300 OM) (Requirements: Physical Strength Proficiency & Debuff Proficiency): Segata lifts his head upward for about a second, after which he slams his head downward directly in front of him. Even though this only covers about 1 foot, it does high damage and can half-bury enemies into the ground as a debuff providing he's strong enough to damage the terrain. Typically, this will submerge someone to be about waist deep (depending on their DEF versues his ATK), but they'll also end up a lot deeper in sand or dirt compared to rock. Each use of this attack does small self-damage to Segata as well, and can leave him with a concussion if used too often, but isn't particularly tiring. Furthermore, this can be hard to use as he has to get very close to headbutt someone like this.

The sounds of seabirds, shouts from the bazaar, and the hiss of distant surf along the edges of the limestone docks echoed dimly through the dry and cool atrium. The smell of papyrus and lantern oil suffused the still air, where the crinkly unraveling of a Vedic scroll was the most startling thing to cut through the otherwise suffocating tranquility of this most sacred of loci. Earthtones awash with the oranges and purples of fading daylight threw the soft, sensual curves of the lounge furniture and its sole occupant into sharp relief. Of all the countless projects sprung from Alexander's conquests, Tearen had always been fond of the library in the eponymous Alexandria. True, while its value to human history and knowledge was often overstated in millennia to come, it was certainly a hallmark of a step in the right direction; the desire of the human spirit to learn from past mistakes chiseled into marble and sandstone with immaculate care.
The irony, then, of sensing the presence of one of his most tempestuous and destructive disciples was not lost on the Shadow. Though Rockwell's mind was guarded against all practical forms of telepathic probing, the man still vented frustration and anger into the psychic air like a freight train. Perhaps it was an apt metaphor, consider the deliberation and determination with which Strazio approached his lounging former teacher. Granted, Tearen was not exactly hard to pick out of a crowd for one who had the sort of sensitivity that Strazio did. Though the Shadow certainly did not visibly stick out in his humble cloth robes and dark complexion, the Elder Prime exuded his own presence in a way both as subtle and profound as a towering bank of nimbus clouds.
"We need to talk." Strazio blurted, crossing his arms sourly over his chest. Tearen paused his perusal of the large scroll in front of him before rolling it away and shooting the rage mage a knowing glance.
"Really Strazio, not even a hello?" Tearen quipped raising an eyebrow. He could tell his disciple was not exactly in the mood, but the ex-enigma would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy pushing Rockwell's buttons every now and then.
"You already know why I'm here." Strazio snapped back, his fists balled up into their signature fists. Tearen chuckled.
"You're giving me too much credit, friend...but I'm guessing we had better step outside?" the eldritch human said. His voice still retained hints of a smile, even if it was a tad melancholy. The true context of this situation was not lost on him, but if this was the only way he would get to see his beloved Enigmas on occasion, it would have to suffice...

Could we please have access to our old New Babylon forum? Makes for easier planning and rebuilding. Sasuke, Gilgamesh, Shay Cormic, and Erik Vrell all need access, and possible more to come.
Also, I noticed under our profile avi whee it says you can show your alliance. Ours says Nippur instead of New Babylon, could we get that switched to New Babylon instead?

Hecate wasn't sure what was going on, should she feel sad? fearful? anxious? None of these emotions felt right to her to describe what she felt. Nigh somehow she felt indifferent about it. "I watched that girl... yet I did nothing." She thought about the situation, each time thinking of how she could come to the reality of it. "Even if I was not in control, I am the one who's head will meet the headsman's axe." The concept of death was one she had not felt the need to delve into the happenings of life after death. No, Meistra goddess of death would grip her hand and lead her into the afterlife, a dark black void filled with the souls of those who had fallen before her.
Even that was of no comfort, something was off. Not only had her other personality maintain control for a far longer time than what had happened before but in that time period that personality... no.... she had added three more bodies to her kill count, a list that despite her efforts continued to grow.
The last time her dark side had come out and left bodies on the ground was when she was taking her final exam, the graduation ceremony.... The memory of the event was as vivid as ever.
"Soldiers of Vestura, Magi of Vestura! Today marks the final trial on your path to the everlasting glory that awaits all who fight on the righteous cause led by our king! As many of you have been made aware when you began this journey in the search power, in search of strength. All of you have seen death, looked it in the face and knocked Meistra's cold grip away! Today marks the completion of your training, the steps you have taken to to reach this power. As such some of you will not be so lucky."
Hecate looked out of the corner of her eye as the Witches standing beside her, each one was clad in the same white uniform, each standing at attention. None blinked, all watching with unbreakable attention, save for herself.
"You will make one final test the cornerstone of your training, each of you shall go into the woods. Of the 100 of you no more than 25 will return. But know this, those of you who fall, will be revered by those who claim your life."
Hecate saw her fellow students begin shaking, everyone feared death. Hecate didn't know if she did.... She had never been good with emotions, even as a child.
The forests were quickly filled with the sounds of the dead. Her swords had both already been broken still she had killed three of her fellow students. Their neckties taken as proof of the dirty deed. Her body was sore, small burns covered her exposed flesh. Rocks blasted apart by magic turned into weapons, buried deep inside her. Her victories had not been without cost. Yet the small feeling of satisfaction trumped the pain she felt.
"Did I do that?"
"Or did she?"

Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”
Omni hands you a glimmering orb in which all the colors of the rainbow coalesce. “This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.
“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn.
“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”
“Gotta say, Omni… I ain’t much impressed by your ‘Omniverse’…” Croc mutters softly, as his gaze takes in his alabaster surroundings. White sky and ivory earth meet at the horizon seamlessly, giving the impression of a snow-blasted wasteland despite the inarguably average temperature. In fact, the former Shichibukai tapped his heel on the ground just to be sure he wasn’t simply in some sort of formless void.
For a world that was supposed to reflect his wishes, it was quite disappointing. Did this Omni fellow just give up halfway through creating his realm? For that matter, what the hell was even going on? Sure, the guy gave some kinda half-assed explanation about Crocodile being interesting to him or whatever, but this was just too unbelievable to be true. If it was some sort of Devil Fruit Eater’s idea of a prank, they were gonna rue the day they thought Sir Crocodile a likely target for such foolishness.
The first order of business was, of course, to get a feel for exactly what sort of powers he was dealing with. If it was some sort of illusion ability, the user must not be very skilled considering that, aside from the bleached sky and earth, the only other thing Croc could see was a sort of fountain. Granted, there was something a bit off about it… something he couldn’t quite put his finger on, but if this really was some sort of magical world where people’s will could become manifest, then why was it so empty?
There was a lot to consider, and if it truly WERE an illusion it’d be dangerous to go anywhere without some sort of purpose, so for the moment Crocodile decided it’d be best to simply wait here and see if someone would wander by eventually. And with little else to do while he waited, the man simply watched the off-white fountain spray water into the air. Long moments passed before the former Shichibukai finally grasped exactly what had struck him as odd about the object before. When he’d initially arrived, he’d immediately looked about him to get a feel for his surroundings and look for enemies. Then, the fountain had been pure ivory in color, and the water cool and blue as it sprayed high into the air.
But... now the stone had taken on a distinctly brownish tint and the water had become murky with some sort of contaminant. Was this what Omni had meant by the world being malleable to those with Omnilium? Now THIS was fascinating indeed. Maybe the fool wasn’t quite the dullard Croc had taken him for. It was still idiotic to drag him into this world or illusion, but it seemed the ‘god’ was at least somewhat skilled, for the changes began to become more pronounced in the object before him. The marble-like stone had taken on a distinctly sandstone texture and color and the once-clear water had been replaced by a spray of golden sand cascading into the air to tumble into the large basin.
A grin tugged up at the pale-skinned man as a laugh flowed past them, his head thrown back to face the sky. “KUU AH AH AH AH AH! Well, this may be some sorta trap, but at least this thing knows how to show due respect!”
