The Magnetokinetic Mutation
Much like her personality itself Jane's abilities have a particular sort of magnetism to them that not only would you want to avoid but also would usually only see in some kind of insane physicist's madly funded laboratory. What this means for Jane is that she possesses the rarely spotted ability to manipulate raw magnetism already existing in nature or creating it herself by extending her own personal magnetic fields. Control over this is achieved through mental 'commands' and physical motions to allow for a sort of 'telekinesis over magnetism and metal', and, eventually, things that are magnetic residing inside of non-magnetic things.
Through these various control 'mechanisms', whether they be physical, mental, or even something else that hasn't been stumbled upon yet, the superhuman feats of lifting, pushing, pulling, flattening, and otherwise molding magnetic materials is achieved. Amazing things can be done through this single, ever-evolving power as Jane explores her capabilities. But don't be fooled as even one with the power of the Gods has their limitations and great harm can come to those who refuse to use their power responsibly.
Even though I won't get into details, yet at least, you have to know how much of a burden and strain this can be on the mind of a woman whowould normally be reverred as a Goddess by the primitives of this Earth. Chronic nosebleeds, simple headaches, even severe migrains, all of this is a curse that includes being weakened physically by extensive use of an ability not normally meant to be used by the average or not so average human being meaning that it's a bit too much even for the person with the ability. When Jane tries too hard the only reasonable conclusion is that the results could be disasterous to both mind and body.
Even with that being said, Jane's body is still like a single focal point for electrical, magnetic and electromagnetic energies to flow and filter through. What this allows Jane to do is have a great resistance to being shocked, to electromagnetic forces and to radiation in general. This is achieved through a unique body part but in layers such as blood, skin, or even bone that when diluted can be injected into another person with a time limit that varies between individuals but sits somewhere between two to ten hours with the usual max being twenty four hours. So, yeah, goodbye radiation poisoning and hello life as a laboratory test subject.
When utilizing the ability to absorb electrical energies in a manner different from the usual Jane can, theoretically, discharge millions of watts of electricity in the form of bioelectric blasts. Another route that can be taken is simpler, she just destabilizes her poersonal magnetic fields and collapses in on itself while yet another way to be a portable power generator is to adjust the flow of electricity around her. Though this is completely undiscovered as a potential extension of the Magnetism Mutation it is still entirely possible for Jane to have the need to 'drop' excess energies. Throughout her entire life Jane will be constantly evolving, this is simply nature's way of showcasing a 'superior being'.
Let's just hope her powers don't become too much for the human body to handle, how her extraordinary abilities develop could mean the difference between insanity and a relatively normal life.
Not being limited to any one particular type of magnetism lets Jane have near limitless potential for development, it is just the amount of training required to get to higher levels of skill would take an absurd amount of time which, to be honest, is about as ridiculous as man-kind evolving into Gods. Nonetheless, even without a mentor to train her in the woes of magnetokinesis, the young woman has already began to prove she has a wide variety of capabilities that were well hidden under the guise of quite a few library books. It is exactly because of Jane's curiosity and a hunger to sate it that her abilities have progressed this far.
That mixed with the fact her magnetokinetic potential has been passively building up despite all memories of them beng removed or suppressed brings us to yet another simple conclusion that helps to farther define Jane’s power set. The young Adechi's powers have thgeir foundation set wholly in precision, control, accuracy, and skill. This means that as prowess of these things is gathered over time that Jane's abilities will grow in power but this will only occur when the time is right.
Without these things the motherly girl is all but powerless and fully at the mercy of a cruel, cruel world of evil where good is slowly being undone. Despite this, Jane still sees hope for a Earth and will do anything to achieve her vision of a perfect world. With this fueling her powers it is almost as if nothing can bring them down from the back of the tall and powerful horse they ride on, how ignorant and naive of the world they are and how ignorant the world is of them.
Knife throwing, disarming people, bullet tossing, all of this can be done through the power of magnetism and with concentration plucking materials out of the air is possible as well in some strange form if targetted force-fields. Flinging objects at supersonic speeds, causing headaches by moving around trace amounts of iron in the brain, even constructing water filters (with the help of pretty pictures), making force fields that repel and even propel metallic things are also entirely plausible (with training) via harnessing a force of nature. The downside is that these things need to be learned and then their volatility controlled meaning the only difference between this power and others is that you need to be intelligent, creative and know that with enough iron in the blood or metal objects on a person you can fling opponents across the room or even fly if you want to coat yourself in metal and suffocate to death, though if you can do that as a power I'm sure you'll be fine unless you accidently rip yourself apart.
Look, point is that Jane's powers in particular are based entirely around precision, control, overall prowess, and skill. What this does is allow the Italian to develop more capabilities than one who's powers are entirely or almost entirely based around sheer strength. Of course this also means if she hasn't trained enough and Emily came up against someone with similar magnetokinetic abilities, except strength based with a bit more experience, or any power really, she might as well be signing her death wish.
Weaknesses:
The Magnetokinesis Mutation
Jane has no access to "advanced" capabilities yet and can only manipulate metal within a [insert range here] radius, though the potential is still there. Jane is capable of lifting a maximum weight of around [insert weight here] but can only do so with the risk that she will knock herself out for nearly 48 hours, so she usually stays at [insert weight here] through [insert weight here] and when amplified she can go up to [insert weight here] for their "usual", though she can perform at maximum capacity for thirty minutes when performing at a lower power level the young woman can use her abilities for several hours[say, like say a quarter of her power level extends it that long]. Any number of objects are able to be lifted as long as they reside within the weight limit of her abilities, this means she can lift many things as long as they stay within the weight limit.
These objects can be controlled individually or can be manipulated at the same time depending on how much she is manipulating, if the weight is over or at a ton a ton she can only control one object individually. She is extremely accurate, but after fifty meters the efficiency drops sufficiently to the point that she'd need significantly a bigger object[so instead of a nail she'd need lamp post] to hit you with to even have a chance of hitting you. Without metal in the radius she is able to manipulate, Jane is unable to use her abilities. The mental and physical toll of prolonged use is capable of rendering Jane catatonic, so when she lifts too much[over [insert weight here] when not amplified, over [insert weight here] when amplified], uses her powers for too long[surpasses the time limit], or anything like that she will develop serious issues ranging from simple nosebleeds and headaches to comas to death, some, obviously, being more permanent than others.

As he crossed through the portal, he felt a tightening in his gut, the world swung around crazily, whiteness giving way to a swirling mass of dark colors, and as the world spun crazily he staggered, falling flat upon his face with a groan.
And there he lay for some time, before his senses came back to him clearly. Slowly, he pulled his uninjured arm under him, managing to get his palm flat against the earth, and push himself up, though it took him some time, given his lingering disorientation. He shook his head in a useless attempt to clear his thoughts. For a moment, the aching confusion and rage receded, leaving him...almost clearheaded. Clearheaded enough to take a long, slow look at his surroundings.
Nothing within sight that looked at all familiar. But no longer any trace of the blank expanse of whiteness, either.
With careful, shaking fingers he reached down to the earth and took hold of his sword again. With an effort he pulled it back up, using it almost as a walking stick to help him along, his footing still unsteady. All of the rage, fear, adrenaline, and especially the pain had left him rattled and shaking, weak and aching literally everywhere. It was nearly all he could do to stagger dumbly along in no particular direction, his sword making a clear thunk every time his staggering, awkward walking forced him to plant it heavily in the earth.
His breathing came out ragged, and for the first time since his arrival, he managed to choke out something not a mindless scream. "....need....rest...."
And on he went, so slowly it would be a wonder if he could find anything approaching aid before he simply dropped.

You like having more people to play with, right? That was a rhetorical question, because having more people to write with is awesome. Do you also like OM? If the answer is 'yes', which OBVIOUSLY it is, then please vote for us on the following sites!
RPGfix (every 12 hours. If you register, your votes count as x2. Worth the couple of minutes to make an account if you're going to be voting every day)
Top RP Sites (Daily)
When you vote, please post here with your total vote count for this month. So "Voted: 1", "Voted: 3" or whatever. Just keep track of 'em. For our counting purposes, clicking vote on both sites counts as 1 vote. If you post less than twelve hours since your last post, we won't count it. Simple? SIMPLE.
At the end of the month, if you posted ...
7-13 times: You get 100 OM.
14-23 times: You get 200 OM.
24+ times: You get 300 OM.
Every day: You get 300 OM, and a high five from me for being so damn diligent.
If you have an alternate character and wish to claim your reward on that account as opposed to your main one, please let us know.
We're going to trust in this that people actually click the links and don't just reply. I mean it only takes a few seconds to click these links anyway, but if there's a discrepancy between the posts here and the number of votes, and people really want to try and scam their way to a few hundred extra OM without voting, then we'll just remove this. Capiche?
Thanks for voting everyone! If you have time, please also leave a vote and review for us on Top RPG sites (once only).

Not going to be able to do much in the way of anything the next few days mostly because my right hand continues to worsen. May be to do with a dog bite I received a year ago exacerbated by carpal tunnel and my current job which has grown more and more intensive and stressful. Currently typing with just my left hand but it is very difficult. I'm going to the doctors tomorrow but can't say much else for the moment. Therefore I may need other staffers to step up or even get another staffer on board as right now everyone is pretty pressed. I'll update soon but wanted to give a heads up on current updates and why I'm not around as much aside from work.

The sun was beginning to peak over the gable roofs.
On the ground in front of Shang, the pale and contorted corpse of a cutthroat lay still on the bloodied cobblestone. With a faint smile, the sorcerer used his foot to kick the body over into a shallow drainage gutter. The now soulless figure had worked for one of the district’s gang families, and on this lovely dawn, he was the fortunate idiot to try and harass the sorcerer.
And now he was just some forgettable corpse in a rundown neighborhood.
Leaving behind the less appealing parts of Darkshire, Shang dropped his nightly guise and walked his way through empty alleys and side streets until he reached a properly paved street that connected to the main thoroughfare. Although the skies were still a light shade of purple, people were starting to wander out of their homes and go about their morning routines. Shang nodded to a few of the businessmen he’d come to know over the last few weeks as he made a bee-line for the fort that stood in the northwestern quarter of town. When he got close enough, the guardsman flashed him a courteous smile.
“May I help you?” The young man inquired, his tone a clear attempt to show his deference toward someone who was older and at least had the appearance of someone with more clout in the world than him.
“Yes, you may.”
“What is the purpose of your visit?”
The sorcerer flashed a smile to the soldier. “I am a prime, and I want to play my role in defending Darkshire from the villainy that spreads and festers outside her walls.”
After a silent moment, the younger man furrowed his brow. “You’re here to enlist with the garrison?” When he received a nod from Shang, the guard paused once more before shrugging his shoulders. “I suppose it’s not too uncommon. If you’ll follow me inside, I will take you to the Tower Commander. He’ll take care of the paperwork and place you somewhere.”
“Lead the way,” Shang said with a faux smile. “I just want to do my part to make Darkshire a safer place.”

Just a little hollowed story for you guys, hope you enjoy.
For this story we will need to go back in time. Not a year or two ago, not ten years ago, not even a hundred years ago. We need to go back one thousand years, to the time that elves and dwarves were still alive, to when the great dragons still soared high in the air, to a castle of a forgotten kingdom in a forgotten place, wiped out of all maps. Why would someone go through such great precautions to erase something, being so through as to kill anyone who knew? Maybe I’ll tell you, maybe not, I’m not sure if it is time for you to hear the story of the Forgotten Mage. One question you all may be thinking, if this story was erased from history, how do you know it? Well I’ll tell you, I can tell you the story because I am the daughter of The Forgotten Mage, I am in this story. Father told me that he erased my memory of that event to protect me, I have forgiven him because he told me the story one black, stormy night, and I believe it was a full moon.
“Mirithra, come, sit on my lap,” he told me in his deep, rich, smooth voice,” I must tell you a story, if it is your wish after you hear I can erase your memory, I have already erased your memory happening in the first place.”
“Tell me father, tell me a tale of a part of my past that I have no memory of,” I replied calmly, “I have often wondered why there was a gap in my memory”
“You knew that someone had erased your memory?” he asked shocked,” I am surprised that you have never asked me.”
“I know you father, I can see things, not like images, but I can notice things, like how around the end of November you become very sad, you hide it well, but your eyes betray you” I replied gently,” and I knew that when the time was right or when I was old enough I would learn of my past.”
“Before you learn of your past you must learn about a man named Firith Urland, for he is very important to the story,” He began
*****
Long ago in a nearby land, there were three races, the race of the men, the race of the dwarves, and the race of the elves, the elves and the dwarves were constantly at war with each other, with the humans caught between the hammer and the anvil of the two great nations. At a meeting the humans beseeched a cult of witches to help them. Loving mayhem they agreed to the plan. The humans asked the Dwarf King and the Elven Queen to come to a meeting help by the humans to try and have peace. The witches cast a spell that caused for a night, the two fall madly in love, but the next morning, both thought they had simply went to their quarters and fell asleep. The plan was for a half dwarf, half elf to bridge the sides.
10 years later, for Elven pregnancy is much slower than humans, boy was born, and great outrage was heard among the halls, the babe was not elfish, the queen had thought that the father was the Elven king, but the baby was too small and had round ears. The elves in their fashion gave him only a first name and once he could walk alone they left him in the wild. The name they gave him was Firith, which means dark child. Firith wandered, wandered for years, managing on the little food he could find or steal, the only reason he survived was because of his very low metabolism. When he was about 100 years old, still a child, he was wandering one day and he came across a small hut in the middle of the forest. Thinking that it might have food inside, he crept through the door. To his great delight he found the hut stuffed with food. He ate as much as he could and then feeling tired he fell asleep. In his dreams he heard voices He is strange... Is he the one?... What should we do with him?.... When he opened his eyes, six eyes stared back at him, and as he became more fully aware he realized that those eyes were attached to an old woman, a middle aged woman, and a small girl. He tried to jump up and run for his life... but he found he could only move a limb about an inch in any direction.
When he calmed down the three spoke as one, "We are the sisters," they intoned. "Why has the half blood come here?" They asked him. "Half blood?" he replied in confusion. "He does not know," They told each other in the same monotonous tone. For the next week the witches slowly poured the story of his creation into his ears, he learned that he was half elf, half dwarf through magical means, he learned that because he was conceived through magical means that blood had seeped into him and he could use magic. After learning that he was a half dwarf, he gave himself the surname Urlond. For the next two hundred years Firith learned how to use his magic.
When he was strong with the magic he went out into the world, only to find that he was still an outcast, and was hunted by many, seeking the great reward for his head, one such a knight, a half giant he found out through magic was particularly persistent, and followed him for 15 years before Firith was able to lose him. Using his magic Firith created a castle, a place where he could live and work on his magic and do experiments. One day a man wandered into the castle, Macdon, the knight that had chased him 50 years earlier had come to his castle to seek shelter from the rain. And thus begins the story. I need to switch to his side of the story now, which I took from his mind
*****
“Blasted rain,” I thought to myself, “why is it always raining in these parts, maybe that castle isn’t too decrepit to sleep in.” I walked into the castle. To my surprise the castle was in very good shape, despite looking to be abandoned for years. I unrolled my sleeping mat and fell asleep in the great hall. My dreams were dark that night, full of blood and monsters, but to all that there was complete silence, creatures would open their mouths to bellow and scream at me, but no sound came our, but there was two sounds, a scraping sound underneath me and a dripping sound coming above.
I awoke to a drop of rain that must have leaked through the roof. I reached up to wipe the drop from my forehead, it was thick, too thick, I knew that feeling, I was intimate with that feeling, it was the feeling of ultimate horror, it was the feeling of death, red, liquid death. I dove to my pack and lit the torch. It was a mistake, all around me was blood, the walls were covered with the bloody streaks of clawing hands, I looked down, my hands were bloody. Why were my hands bloody? And why were my fingernails torn up, like I had been clawing at something all night.
Then it dawned on me, the blood was mine! Pure, unadulterated terror and fear, welling up from the bottom of my soul. I screamed, I ran, I ran as fast as I could, it didn’t matter to me where I ran, as long as it was away. When I came back to myself, I realized I had made a very, very grave mistake, well, more like two. The first was that I didn’t have any gear, except for a little penknife that I always keep in my boots, and the second was that I appear to have gone deeper into the castle, into the dungeons.
I walked down a hall, a covered in black and red ice like teeth of a demon, all around me were cages, with all forms of torture being wrought inside of them, delivered by black, winged… things, with two rows of sharp while gleaming teeth. I wandered those halls. I don’t know how long, there was no way to tell the days.
Slowly, ever so slowly, the hope began to fade, the hope, that maybe, maybe if I could reach the end of the tunnel it would bring freedom. Often I begged for one of the creatures to kill me, but they would grin at me with those awful teeth and say, The master has plans for you, the master has plans for you, the master has plans for you, and would continue their work. The farther and the longer I went, the more my mind slipped. Till at last, just before the last strand that kept me from going completely insane snapped. I reached the end. There before me lay a great feast with women dancing around the colorfully lit room, who danced up to me and caressed my body gently, soothing me, and slowly my mind came back.
When I had recovered enough to think clearly, they lead me to a woman, who was sitting at the end of the table. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. When I had come close enough to hear her soft voice she spoke.
“Macdon, my father was very surprised when you wondered into his castle, you may remember him, you may not in your state of mind,” she said gently,” you hunted him for 15 years, and no he will have his revenge”
Before my eyes the lady turned into a great dragon, and lifted me high into the air
*****
“But father, what does this story of Firith and Macdon have to do with me?” I asked.
“Marinda,” he replied,” I am The Forgotten Sage, I created you and gave you life, using my magic I created you from a rib, from my own body, and using my magic I wrought you, bone and sinew, it took me 3 months to finish every part of you, and because you’re a part of me, when I die you will inherit all of my power on top of your own. I am truly sorry my daughter, that I did it. You have a choice in front of you my dear, shall I erase the memory or shall you live the rest of your days knowing that the gap in your memory, was when I needed you for the last torture of Macdon.”
“You took the memory Father, It is only fair that you give it back now.”

Hi I'm new here, and was wondering about a character idea that i had.
The idea is a 4th Generation DragonSlayer (from the FairyTail universe), this is a non canon idea as the Anime only has up to 3rd Generation.
Generation 1 DragonSlayer learn their magic through being trained by a dragon.
Generation 2 DragonSlayer learn their magic through having a DragonSlaying Lacrima (Magic Crystal) placed inside them.
Generation 3 DragonSlayer is a combination of Gen 1 and 2 but of the same DragonSlaying element.
The 4th Generation is basically the same as the 3rd except the Lacrima that is placed inside the character is of a different element to the dragon that trained them, causing them to have two elements.
Is this ok for me to do?

Is Mercenary work rewarded with extra OM at the end of whatever work has been done? or is it more of just an RP thing... is there even Mercenary work in the Omniverse? if so, how much extra OM?
