Quote:This is some of my old writing as Deadpool (on Another Destiny). Alex found this for me a couple months back and I figured I would share. I didn't code it or anything because I'm on phone right now
Deadpool sauntered along a beaten road as his journey continued to the city of Tropicana. Weasel had given him the location of the city and even a GPS to help navigate. Deadpool had misplaced the GPS, however, during a scuffle with a random super villain named Shaun von Dingalong.
”I think I might have hidden it in the rectal cavity of one of those Vietnamese citizens. Ya’know, like Christopher Walken did with that watch in Pulp Fiction.”
Something was becoming visible in the distance. Deadpool peered but could not determine what lied ahead of him. Could it be the city? It was still too far to even begin fathoming. For now it was merely a blur (a Gaussian blur, Deadpool reckoned).
”The whole idea to hide the GPS seemed pretty good when Mr. Dingalong was using his Dingaling Swing. I don’t even want to elaborate on that one. And the next time my dialogue is interrupted for narration I’m gonna pull a Newman on someone’s Jerry ass.”
He kept walking, unearthing more of the picture, making it clearer to his perfect vision. Pixels, as Deadpool called it from his Atari days, were beginning to focus in. A yellow strip seemed to be dividing his end of the road from the other. A black and white vehicle was also noticed by Deadpool’s eyes; he reckoned it was a Chevy. He hoped that it was a Monte Carlo, his favorite car.
”My favorite automotive is a Winnebago, not a Monte Carlo! In today’s culture you need to show the girls that you’ve got money. What better way to do so than by driving a car that gets 10 miles to the gallon?!”
The vehicle that was there—now only a few yards away—was an Impala police cruiser; the yellow tape that said: TPD –DO NOT CROSS.
As Deadpool neared, the driver’s door of the Chevy popped open and a figure emerged. He had the appearance of an ex-soldier; his robust muscles only confined by his black uniform. He slowly approached the yellow tape, reaching for his belt and grabbing the nightstick from its holster.
“Woah there buddy,” the officer remarked, raising a flat hand towards the Teflon-clad hero, “turn around and go home.”
Deadpool walked closer, pulling his mask up and picking his nostrils. ”What’s up po-po?” He mined out a large wad of dried mucus and flicked it into the air.
Inarticulate nonsense erupted from his radio. He grabbed his collarbone with the free hand (where the communicator was strapped onto the uniform) and replied: “Copy that.” Deadpool stared at the metal nametag mounted right above the police badge. Chiseled into the metal was: BRIAN BUCHANAN. The policeman stared at him with mild confusion and aggravation. “Didn’t I tell you to scram, kid? Go back home and wait for Halloween.”
”I see that both your names start with the same letters.” A smile creased his mask. “Both my names do too!”
The officer arched a brow as his confusion intensified. “What are you, retarded?” he asked as he tightened his grasp on the nightstick.
”Nope,” Deadpool replied. “Canadian.”
“If you don’t vacate the area I’ll have to take you into custody. You don’t want that.” The communicator bleeped twice and then sprayed out more inarticulate gibberish.
Wade laughed, placing his hands on his hips. “You? Take me into custody? What do you think I am, Asian?I just told you, I’m Canadian. Is that the type of courtesy you’re gonna show me after my nation has protected America from glaciers?!” The look on the officer’s face transfigured from confusion immediately into anger. Deadpool could tell that this he was not going to take lightly to cockiness. ”Look, I need to get into Tropicana, Mr—“ he glanced back at the metal nametag—“Buchanan. I got business there. You should understand—the economy is in a wreck, and I’m a fat person for dough. A disgusting, obese, cake-eating fiend for it. If I could, officer, I’d eat the Pillsbury Dough Boy. That’s how much I need money”
“That’s it; you had your chance buddy. I’m bringing you in!” the officer exclaimed, raising the nightstick high above his head.
”One more step and I’ll blow you—“ A quick tremor shook the earth with moderate force. ”What the hell was that? It totally made my last remark sound extremely sexual.
“That was a nice little earthquake,” the policeman muttered as tossed a glance over his shoulder to make sure his cruiser was all right.
Though he had the All-American appearance, Buchanan hadn’t been the best officer throughout his career. During his earlier years he had done whatever necessary to obtain money—extortion, blackmail, money laundering, everything. He could still recall one time, when he was a rookie officer, where he had an offer of a few thousand dollars to conceal evidence. He cooperated.
It had been a long time since his last sinful deed, however. He was never caught, luckily, but knew that his collegues were beginning to suspect where all of his new impressive gadgets were coming from (police salary didn’t exactly permit a fresh Porsche). Ever since he made that turn his life he decided that he would redeem himself by excellence on duty and making sure that none of the Tropicana Police Department funds would go to waste—at least if it was in his possession. He counted that Chevy Impala as such.
The tremor, though mild in force, still hadn’t faded away. The ground unyieldingly continued to convulse, and it grew stronger with every rattle. It was even beginning to roar.
The trembles in the earth were finally beginning to take their toll on the three—Buchanan, Deadpool, and the Chevy. Deadpool’s balance wobbled with every motion of the ground, only requiring one convincingly strong tremor to topple him over. Buchanan was a native of California and had dealt with quakes in the past. The Impala was no longer fairing so well. The tremors were beginning to shake the cruiser. Nothing serious, but Buchanan didn’t want to take any chances. He ran over to his vehicle and leaned his back up against its broadside to keep its balance settled.
”Buchanan! What’s happening?! I feel less balanced than Kurt Cobain—post-addiction!”
Buchanan looked over at Deadpool. To him this crazed individual belonged in a mental institution. However, this was neither the time nor place to judge people. They were in a tight situation together, and he regarded him as another civilian that he was going to have to provide safety for. “It should be passing soon,” he shouted, barely able to project his voice over the thunderous booms.
Deadpool finally toppled over, taking a seat on his ass. The earth rippled against his buttocks with intense force. He grunted.“Wow, this is really uncomfortable. Like, I can’t even express my discomfort,” He was as if he was being starred in a shemale pornography film.“I feel like Mother Nature is trying to take my virginity! When is this prologue gonna end?!”
Though the tremor that was occurring seemed to be an ordinary earthquake, it wasn’t. And what the officer mentioned about it ending soon never came to be. The fact was that it didn’t stop. On the contrary, it was worsening. Light tremors were manifesting into violent convulsions.
The police vehicle’s endurance was beginning to fold. It shook as violently as the earth did. The right side tires began to play hop-scotch with the road, hopping up and down. Buchanan leaned against it harder, applying more of his bodyweight onto the vehicle. He struggled to maintain its balance, but it seemed like he was managing.
”Hey, answer me! I thought you said it wouldn’t last long! You lied! Pulling a Clinton on me, are you?!” the Merc considered taking the top portion of the officer’s cranium off with his AK-47, but quickly dismissed the idea.
The policeman didn’t answer to him. He looked up at the sky and a look of shock overwhelmed him. “The sky,” he murmured, almost mildly, “Jesus Christ.”
The clouds were beginning to assimilate into the atmosphere, revealing the galaxy as clearly as a freshly cleaned window. Things just weren’t the same. It almost appeared as if the planet was moving, and not in the typical sense of revolving, but actually moving! Distant planets usually incapable of visualizing with the naked eye were beginning to become closer.
“What the hell is going on?” Deadpool asked as he struggled to pick himself off of shaking ground. “It’s almost like we’re getting an oral favor.” He almost laughed as he muttered the words. ”Sorry, I just had to add a sexual reference. The whole blowing thing earlier didn’t really count since it wasn’t intentional.”
“Someth—“
Another tremor stuck them, this one much more catastrophic than its predecessors. Deadpool fell back down, ass first once again. Damnit! He thought to himself as he could feel the pain shoot up his colon.
The Chevy went airborne; all four wheels levitated off of the ground. It thumped back down onto the ground, but a subsequent quake rocked it over. The Impala tilted over boardside—Buchanan’s side! He struggled to keep it upright, but the weight was too much. He could feel his back slowly giving in, but he stayed stationed still. The vehicle didn’t care about his efforts. It relentlessly and effortlessly crushed Buchanan. The officer gave out a final screech as the vehicle buckled his back and sent him downward, the force of the car falling against him.
Deadpool did nothing. He only watched as the cruiser rolled over on top of Buchanan, crushing his legs and then completely squashing his genitals. “Holy moly!” Deadpool exclaimed as he saw the officer’s body swallowed by the vehicle’s mass.
“Help!” he yelled. The entirety of his lower-body had been amputated from the top. Painful. Extremely painful. He tried desperately to claw his way out of the wreckage but he couldn’t muster up the strength. “You! Suit guy! Fucking help!” he yelped with the remainder of his energy.
Buchanan didn’t want to die. Who does? But he knew that even if he was saved he’d only be half the man he was before. Literally. Deadpool wasn’t coming over to rescue him. Buchanan could tell by the blank expression he had. The pain was excruciating—he wanted to cry—but he kept his hurting inside. There was no point in allowing his emotions get the best of him. It was over, and he’d just have to accept it.
Buchanan had never been a religious man, but he wagered that this was the time to give God a shot. He began to grumble a prayer.
Deadpool, though he loved to see suffering, didn’t enjoy watching the officer die. What would Jehovah do? Jehovah would put this man out of his misery, he thought to himself, pulling one of his pistols out from its holster and chambering a bullet. ”It’s gonna be okay, Brian,” he remarked, aiming the pistol up at the officer’s head. Buchanan glanced back over at the Merc and his eyes widened. Wade began to sing the lyrics to “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” by Aerosmith.
Don’t wanna close my eyes . . .
I Don’t wanna fall asleep
Cause I’d miss you baby
And I don’t wanna miss a thing
Bang! the barrel boomed as one of the bullets were ejected and shot into the head of the officer. Bang! Bang!
”I guess I didn’t have to shoot him three times,” he remarked, twirling the pistol around his index finger. “One to kill him, another to assure his death. The last one was because I liked the sound. Plus I thought he moved.”
Only one thing remained: saving himself. A few ideas ran through his head. He could either allow whatever was happening to happen—if he lived he lived; if he didn’t, well, then, he wagered that would suck. He didn’t want to die. Or he could fight for his survival.

Early morning. Dew sits upon the crimson specked leaves like shimmering hitchhikers with nowhere to go. A primordial sun rises over frost-caked mountaintops, and a cool mist permeates the valley floor. Behemoth creatures shamble through the fog, picking at the ripest leaves available on the primitive trees. A lone figure stands among the herd, clad in a brown robe, a scythe in its bony hand. The blade shimmers with an unearthly light, and at this being's feet, there lays the body of a young woman. Her blonde hair is dyed blue with the blood that has recently burst from a gash in her neck. Begging eyes look up and the robed figure, but only soulless yellow orbs stare back. In a few moments, she passes from this world, her soul migrating into the aether beyond this physical realm. The enigmatic figure sighs. Another successful hunt. His master will be pleased. The brown-robed man takes a few steps in the opposite direction the herd of monsters is traveling in, before seemingly melting into the mist. There is no further reason to linger.
A lone dragonfly alights on the dead woman's nose. She makes a sufficient perch, for now.
Back in the diamond city, Nealaphh pulls his brown hood down from his head, revealing a sullen, yet youthful face. His eyes still glow a solid yellow, and his skin has ritualistic scars carved into it. A shaven head, with only a thin black ponytail sprouting from the nape of his neck denotes him as an acolyte of the Crawling Chaos. The sunlight of Vega shines heavily down through the crystalline towers, and rainbows dance across all surfaces with scintillating beauty. Nealaphh, the enigma, approaches the Master's temple. He should have no reason to fear the coming conversation, but still, his steps hold a reluctance that betrays his true emotions. That woman, the immortal...he knew her. Walking up the two-hundred steps to the grand onyx tower, Nealaphh kneels before the heavy stone doors and utters a simple prayer to the Primordial Instinct. Withdrawing a knife from his cloak, the enigma pulls his left sleeve up to his elbow and carves a bloody rune into his forearm. The mark of another successful mission in the name of thermodynamics. Once this ritual is complete, the stone doors pull themselves open, and Nealaphh enters the pitch darkness beyond.
Inside, the chapel resembles the beauty of deep space, with red-tinted points of light glowing in all directions. Thousands...millions of tiny beacons in the darkness. But Nealaphh knows better; he is the Master's head priest. Those are not flames or points of energy. They are eyes. Hefting his scythe into the air, Nealaphh summons light into this dark place and reveals the horror. Wriggling tendrils of black ichor writhe across the stoney inner surface of the chapel, with beady red eyes bursting from the black flesh like luminescent tumors. These thin tentacles spiderweb their way all across the floor, walls and ceiling of the chamber, meeting together at the center of the ceiling where a slavering maw awaits. There come tiny screams of terror as Nealaphh walks to the middle of the floor, squishing eyeballs and tentacles as he does so, but there is no reason to be concerned that he may anger the abomination. It feels no pain. The words begin to come, and the tattooed scars on Nealaphh's dark brown skin begin to glow a soft blue-green.
"Yes." Nealaphh says. His voice is heavy and deep, filled with purpose. More words come.
...
"It was easier than usual. Trust does that."
...
"I don't see why not."
...
"I am honored by your words."
...
"I would prefer we didn't linger on that thought."
...
"Again, you honor me. No, I will be fine."
...
"Serving you is its own reward, but...I shall listen, as always."
...
"I don't understand."
...
"How is such a thing possible?"
...
"So it is true...I suppose congratulations are in order."
...
"If you feel if that is what is best, then I will obey."
...
"It doesn't matter. Let it begin."
With those final, fateful words, the black tendrils leap from their writhing stupor and cling to Nealaphh's body like horrid leeches, and grow tiny, razor sharp teeth. Nealaphh grits his teeth as he tries to bite back the screams as the tentacles worm their way into his flesh, tearing chunks of his body free with tiny cries of triumph. Agony does not begin to describe the pain, and Nealaphh lets loose a howl of anguish. The slavering maw over head lets out an empathetic roar of its own, and the chamber is filled with maddening screams. Piece by piece, Nealaphh is savagely torn asunder, his black blood splattering to the ground in great gouts. Now blinded by pain, Nealaphh can only listen to the terrifying sound as a thick tentacle eats its way through his spine and bursts out through the front of his chest, his still-beating heart clutched in its unhinged jaws. This too, disappears down a horrible gullet, and the last thing Nealaphh hears with his mortal ears is the sound of a great elasticity, as the monstrous jaws on the ceiling descend to claim their prize...
...
Silence follows. The chamber is slick with blood and drool, and the giant mouth picks pieces of flesh from its needle-teeth. A few moments pass, and light begins to course through the black tendrils, like veins in a luminescent heart. The onyx chamber rumbles in protest of the foul energy that now courses through it, and the million-eyed monster within begins to curl up into itself, forming a brain-like black ball that wobbles and spits in furious protest. Outside, the diamond city is collapsing. Perhaps it would be a tragedy if it weren't for the fact that its sole remaining inhabitant had not just been consumed by Chaos and Madness. Giant, refracting towers smash to the valley floor, sending violent shockwaves the perpetuate into the mountains that surround the crystalline metropolis. Trees fall, and avalanches rage down the mountains. Great, flying creatures take to the skies, their panicked squawks heralding the coming darkness. The shockwaves begin to shake the entire planet, it's purple-gold fields of snake grass shuddering under the immensity of this moment. From orbit, vast volcanic fissures open on the face of its largest continent. Three, giant eyes, two level with each other and a third below the leftmost ocular, formed by geysers of molten rock denote the harsh reality; the planet is now alive. Inaudible from the void of space, horror upon horror is revealed as the entire planet begins to compress and fold in on itself, entire landmasses crumbling like scabs over a fresh wound. With a final burst of energy, giant plumes of plasma shoot from the core of the world, denoting the presence of an infant black hole, the newest member of an intergalactic family of such fell beings.
With ravenous cause, the black hole that is Nealaphh swiftly devours the remaining planets and stars within the binary system. It grows swiftly to meet its new purpose. A mortal mind cannot comprehend the power that it holds now, and as such, Nealaphh's mind expands to fill with a newfound understanding of the cosmos.
The God-Mind cometh.
Hail the Crawling Chaos.
Nealaphh is.

Filtered light streamed from the pearly walls as Molly's dress shoes lightly tapped the ground. With a light hum and a well-paced frolic, the girl had already created a large distance between herself the Coruscant gate. Her pigtails sprouted from the sides of her head and rolled over her shoulders in rippled waves. The girl was adorned in pink and resembled a fairy, or would have if it wasn't for the hardened expression tainting her ability to smile.
To her dismay, she had yet to get a response from the internet sensation Agnès whom she had requested help. Meanwhile Gildarts - the oaf - was no where to be found. Lastly, and perhaps the most devastating, she had run out of mochi ice cream.
As she walked, the youth fiddled with the buttons on her phone but could not help but to feel a sense of impending doom riveting in her shaking bones. Behind her eyelids, the images of death flashed - no it had been murder - and the willingness of even her idolized friend to do such a deed was earth-shattering. Didn't he know what death meant to her? Probably not considering she wasn't the mushy type. She would never admit it's true reference. Death was the loss of her family, and with it, the love and hope anyone had shared with her seemed to vanish. Primes or not, for this girl, there was no room in the Omniverse for double-standards.
Perhaps watching Dante's Abyss had been too much for her childish morality, her thoughts strained and she reverted to her reflexive defense of snarky comebacks which she quickly waved away from her mind. "Sigh... Gildarts," She expressed her action aloud as the smallest tear escaped from the corner of her eye, "How could you?"
It shouldn't have surprised her, considering the terms, or rather, the ruins they had met in. Yet still, his words shook her as she recalled the darkness on his face, and the truth never seemed more real. In fact, it's shockwave of shivers even transcended the wake of the memory. Three simple words that shattered the moment she stood in with the utmost consequence.
"You could die."
As she blinked away the memory, her eyes rolled to her toes. She melted at the sight of her pretty and glossed little shoes that had been touched with the carefully caressed imprint of painted flower pedals. The girl noted that there was no shadow cast in her stoop but today, she chose not to investigate. Not now, Her chin sunk low in disappointment, and almost touched her neck as she realized that the man she was searching for could be dead.
Gildarts. His charismatic smile flickered before her eyes, then, she saw a glimpse at what he had sacrificed for whatever their mission had meant to him. It was the same, he wore the same expression on the island, she could tell. Whatever it had been for, whatever the repercussions wrought, the man hadn't given up. Even when it had landed him in a hospital gurney. It was unreal that in the same passage of admiring thought, came the unthinkable.
He could be dead.
The idea of this was much worse for the secondary, than the idea of him becoming a murderer. There's my double standard, I suppose. If Karl Jak had banished Gildarts to the Underverse, Molly would never forgive him. Perhaps she would even extract a little revenge. Her never-ending ploys distracted her from the longing drain tugging on her heartstrings.
She had even planned-out what she was going to say to the mage first, and had taken an unflattering screenshot of him in the collar. Molly smirked as she held it in her hand before crumpling it out of either disgust for herself showing weakness, or sick anger at the Prime for abandoning her.
"What about your promise? You didn't keep it, and I'm the fool, I should have known. Of all the people to speak empty words, yours had been the fullest."
The orphan girl let the flooding turmoil of emotion breach her thoughts as her expression grew from sorrowful into one closer to her trademark sassy smile. "That oblivious guy had probably gotten lost, or ran himself into a tree." It wasn't unlike him, and the thought put the charming glitter of light back into her eyes. All the while, the unsaid question had yet to be answered.
Where had he gone?

Triest, Axorn, and Vrell Versus Okor, Tartaros, and Galel
Posting Order: Axorn>Triest>Vrell>Galel>Okor>Tartaros
Reasons: The trio of Legionnaires have acquired Blackhand's Crown, the first step of their many-tiered plan to achieve glory. Unfortunately, an Imperial Officer was aware of their schemes, and contacted the others to put a stop to their machinations. The Legionnaries walked right into Erik, Triest, and Axorn's trap. Will the heroes' preparations be enough? Or will darkness carve another notch on their belt this day?
Locations: Axorn, Triest, and Vrell are arranged around the Museum, and Galel and Okor have just sprung their trap inside the museum. Tartaros is nearby the museum, parking the getaway vehicle.
Things I'd like to see happen:
Vrell and Galel engage in a telepathic battle, sinking deep inside their psyches to battle inside the others psychic labyrinth (The strict discipline of Vrell's mind against the madness and change of Galel's? I can't wait).
Monologues!
Someone tackling someone off of tier one, and engaging in a mid-air fistfight.
Brutal Kunnin' prevailing over sheer strength.
Kunnin' Brutality prevailing over slippery buggers.

I was wondering if someone with Photostop or other image skills would lend the Proto a hand.
I'd like to take the body of Mega Man + Rush Adapter and replace the head with that of Proto Man. I dunno if it's possible to do this and have it look nice or not, but I'd appreciate any assistance from people who are better at manipulating images than I am.
I appreciate it.

A hand, rising from the crack in the ashen floor, pushes itself out of the ground. The hand props itself upward, revealing shoulders, neck and a head, a body. The cooled magma gives way as the body struggles to free itself from its sleepbed, slabs crack and fall from the being's back. The body, now only halfway through, was as grey as the ash, eternally falling like snow. Crawling out of the blackened floor, legs, calves and feet soon revealed themselves, a complete body. The body attempts to rise upright, disoriented from an extended slumber, staggering slightly with every step taken. This was Keepless, an extension of Seed.
Scanning...
No infections in the immediate area
Heading towards higher ground
The grey body marches forwards, a small hill in the middle of its intended path. Footprints indenting the soft, dusty ground, Keepless moves forward, unwavered by the sweltering heat. Overheating may have caused Keepless to shutdown but, it was merely the cause of a collapse that Keepless found himself sinking into molten rock. Now, the flow has turned elsewhere, cooling the place slowly enough for it to take more than half a year for the pseudo-persona to free himself. Moving on as if nothing happened, Keepless stops on top of the hill, scanning anything interesting on the horizon.
Movement, the A.I. detects movement. Of what? A simple lifeform, one small enough to be considered harmless to Seed. The little creature dove underground, through a hole. Oddly, the hole was cooler than the rest of its surroundings. Keepless scanned some more, wider scanning produced more results. There were movments of lava, movements of smoke and steam, geysers and flying wyrms on the peak of a tall mountain, the tallest one on the horizon.
Keepless tries to recall what he was doing before being trapped in lava, no results came. He immediately runs his self-diagnostics and found nothing wrong with him. It's as if the memory wasn't there to begin with. No entries for that day either. Wondering what he had lost for him to arrive in this hell, Keepless backtracks his footsteps, looking for any signs, any leads for his reasoning to lead him here.

I remember talking about this in chat earlier but some of us play MMO's and I think it would be fun if we made a party. Anyone down and anyone want to decide on an MMO?

(Hi. It's Reb. Would like to have Blink as my alt, please. This application is re-made from the last time I tried this guy. I'll behave this time. I promise. Also totally fine if I have to keep the bounty I had years ago.)
Character Name: The Joker
Character Source: DC Comics/Arkham video games/Various movies.
Character History: This particular Joker has a mix of histories and inspiration from all of the sources listed above. He was taken after the events of 'The Killing Joke' comic, after he is arrested for kidnapping Commissioner Gordon.
STATS:
ATK: 2
DEF: 4
SPD: 2
TEC: 2
Starting Proficiencies:
Ranged and Impair = 1800
Starting Powers:
None
Starting Moves:
Double Pistols (300) (Ranged) - Two basic M9 pistols that can be fired while moving, jumping or diving.
Laughing Gas Level 1 (300) (Ranged/Impair) - Green gas in small circular grenade like containers that cause the enemy to break into laughter. It seems harmless, but prolonged exposure will cause difficulty breathing and choking, but ultimately doesn't last long enough to be fatal.
Total moves = 600
Total Spent = 2400
Writing example:
Despite what might be considered a rather grim outlook on life, the man who was called The Joker did not particularly enjoy the darkness. He had been - or at least he thought he had been - in a police car on his way to Arkham Asylum once again. But now he was just floating in the darkness, processing the information that had been forced down his ear-holes. His memory was fuzzy - he didn't remember how long ago it had been, but the last thing he could remember was a failed plot at the carnival. He had been trying to prove a point to the stubborn Batman. He wanted to show how easy it was to become like him - how one bad day could turn a normal person into a madman like the Joker. But in the end, despite crippling his daughter, The Joker was unable to turn Commissioner Gordon against his city. He could remember laughing with Batman about his failure - and thinking how they were born to be hero and villain fighting against each other for all time.
Then he was here. In this place. If you could even call it a place. It was pitch black, save for the silhouetted man in front of him, giving him a rehearsed speech. Joker's red eyes perked around as the figure spoke - talking about this place and why he was here. It was an annoyingly one-sided conversation. Omni, as he called himself, spoke about the Omniverse and how Joker had been selected to live there. That part was boring. The interesting part about the material that shaped this world, which he called Omnilium. That sounded like the good stuff. The kind of stuff that someone like Joker would find really...what was the word? Fun.
By the time a white-gloved hand spat out of the fountain, nobody had been paying attention to it. There was a commotion between two large groups with a smaller group right in the middle. Joker sucked in a deep breath when he came out of the water, using both arms to pull himself out of the fountain. He blinked his red eyes a moment as they adjusted so he could see what was going on. The fountain he was in appeared to only been a foot or so deep from the outside - he could look over the edge of it and see the ground. But his entire body was inside the fountain, defying what his eyes were telling him. "Well," he finally brought himself to speak, "This is one hell of a practical joke, if it's not real."
He used his weight to pull himself out of the fountain and roll onto the ground. His covered hands ran over his purple jacket as he sat up, looking at his long legs outstretched in front of him. He looked at his pointy black shoes and wiggled his toes - half because he wanted to ensure they work, and half because they looked really funny when he did. He got a chuckle out of his own movements.
"I'm not forcing anyone," someone said in a strong, firm voice. Joker's ears twitched as he looked up at the man who spoke. It was one of the riders in one of the big groups surrounding the smaller group. “You can go with him, or come with me, or you can go to any one of the other verses. I just don’t want the Empire to twist you against us.” The man looked exactly like the kind of guy Joker hated. He was disgustingly handsome, annoying strong and probably idiotically brave. Joker knew somebody like that, and go figure, he didn't care for him that much, either.
Joker was perceived to be a lot of things. Insane, evil, and impulsive were all traits he had heard to describe him. But he was actually a patient man. He wanted to get all the facts - learn about all the faces before he acted. Especially in this strange world that he wasn't entirely convinced was real. So his slid backwards, around the fountain he had just crawled out of, doing his best to remain unnoticed.
He licked his lips as he slunk backwards, crouching away from the groups in front of him. "This is either the best or the worst dream I've ever bad. Maybe..." he said to himself with a big smile, tilting his head forward, "Maybe it's both."

I think we should make a list for every quest available and what the criteria are. I say that because of the recent quest updates in different Verses, but I have no idea where to find any other ones that might be out there.
