  Enter: Ol' Scratch
Posted by: Scratch-N-Dent - 05-17-2018, 09:58 AM - Forum: The Nexus - Replies (1)

Dent had done it again – Scratch’s counterbot defied his programming and went on a cleaning (incinerating) rampage after the toilets overflowed at General Automatics, Inc’s orbital satellite. This time he managed to burn a hole straight through the space station hull. How does an automaton have a meatbag compulsive disorder, you ask? Ask AppDev – they’re the idiots who coded his janitorial subroutine in the first place. As to who blocked the plumbing up, Scratch would never admit to it. When your boss tells you that a day’s work ought to be flushed down the toilet, you don’t ask questions. Especially not when he’s holding a circuit-frying electromagnetic baton.

Scratch tightened his grip on the bulkhead with all his meager strength as deck five was depressurizing through a hull breach the size of a basketball. Jerry, the accounts-receivable guy, screamed the entire time he was being vented into space butt-first. The bulkhead he anchored himself to made a very discouraging sound. Metal fatigue. The brackets wouldn’t hold out much longer.

At least there wouldn’t be anyone left to file a termination notice, Scratch mused as various office plants hurtled towards the expanding fissure. He could picture it now: Dent wading through space in a decaying orbit around Deneb VIII, attempting to incinerate the space station’s debris field without oxygen. With any luck, a salvage rig would beam him in and fix him. He was stupid, but he was both useful and kind.

Trunk Slamchest, the security guy, sailed down the hall and decompressed before he could even hit open space. Based on the trail of blood droplets that followed him through the corridor, he must have made the same rookie mistake that everyone else who watched sci-fi movies – he held his breath. It wouldn’t really matter. The groan of steel composite failing echoed throughout the station as it began to break apart. The bulkhead shook violently.

Scratch lost his grip, though curiously he didn’t start careening towards the hull breach. A white light overwhelmed his photoreceptors.

“What a strange being.”

Code:
Attention unknown F2P Feeder life form: life support is failing. Please make your way to escape pods.
Scratch churned out on his cranky old dot-matrix printer as he waved his arms. Stupid First Law of Robotics.

“I think you’ll do nicely.”

Code:
Attention unknown F2P Feeder life form: command unrecognized. Scratch unit’s logic controls require you to proceed to escape pod. Lord Derp commands it.

“Scratch, is it?” The being peered at him through orbs of sheer white. His entire body shimmered. “Add row: Everything bagel.”

Scratch’s internal processors whirred.
Code:
Add-Row: dba.Everything bagel.
Define “Everything:” all matter in physical dimension.
Add-run-it: Bagel containing all matter in physical dimension.
Requirements: Bagel dimensions must be infinite.

Catastrophic Data Loop detected.
If “everything” = all matter in physical dimension
Then row “Everything Bagel” must contain other units of “Everything Bagel.”

BLOB DATA OVERFLOW. Restart.bat initiated

And that was that. The being confused his internal logic, triggered a software restart, and when he booted back up, he was laying at the base of some odd structure on a blank canvas of a landscape.

Three grotesque forms stalked through the streets of Dis, their orders clear and direct. There would be no stopping of the inevitable. The time was coming, THEIR time was coming.

Turq, the Thresher, easily seven feet tall, leered at passing demons with the confidence of one who has known only victory. His twin baboon faces searched the crowd, daring any to provoke him into action. Those powerful enough to challenge him knew better, for the Thresher had broken the backs of countless champions, and even the two combatants known to have survived an encounter with him had suffered irreparable injury from the caustic acid that coated his tendril arms. There were rumors he was a relative of the fabled Demogorgon, but none had dared to question him to learn the truth.

V’trock, of the Inquisition, a sludging mass of sickly yellow ooze came next. The inquisitor seeped over the broken ground with a ponderous metere, jutting bones and iron bars scrapping along the street as the oozes innards seeped relentlessly forward. It paused momentarily as the prophet’s corpus came dangerously close to the edge of its mass. Few things posed a threat to V’trock, but the loss of its prized slave-mind would be a dark chapter for the Inquisition of Dis. V’trock rose, twisting and folding over itself to maneuver the body away from the harsh stones, then proceeded onwards with a contented hum. It was looking forward to this one.

Qualloth, the thrice blind, came last. Compared to her two companions, Qualloth seemed almost tame. The curled bat wings, cloven feet and clawed hands became a welcome normality to the fearful observer. Yet this hope died at her head, for it extended farther than any normal person’s, three sets of unseeing pale eyes arrayed atop one another in a ghastly tower. From one clawed hand swung a brimstone thurible breathing the very essence of Dis into the air around the trio, the other held a bladeless hilt with a familiar grip. Though her six eyes roved the passersby, the milky orbs gained no purchase.

The trio stopped before the appointed door and Turq stepped forward, one talloned foot raised and snapped out, separating the door from its hinges with a solid snap.

---

Neujmin’s hand shook as he struggled with the uncooperative cigar. It was all coming down on him. Just as quickly as his influence within Dis had risen, now he was losing contracts, finding more and more doors closed to him. Whispers reached him that he had fallen into disfavor with the Lord of Terror. If this were true… He gulped down another shot of whiskey but found himself unsatisfyingly aware of his imminent peril. He glanced at the door to his office and re-opened the ledger. It had been a mistake to continue work during this situation. He should have stayed in his safe-house and let flunkies take the fall for him. But the answer had to be in there somewhere.

There was a crash from down the hall. The demon boss was torn between an urge to determine its source and a need to get away. He took a drag of the cigar. Fleeing would be pointless. If the sound was Diablo’s agents he would only be delaying the inevitable, and nothing made one look guiltier than attempting to flee. Neujmin racked his brain. How had he displeased Diablo? It was not exactly something that you could ask…

There was shout from one of his door guards, though it had turned into a sick gurgle before it was through. Not worth the investment after all. he grumbled, then spun his chair to face the bookcase behind him. The bust of Belial was in its expected place, and after checking the trigger was secured around his massive wrist, Neujmin flicked the safety off. The Demon head statue hummed ever so slightly, its eyes glowing with internal treachery. It would be a desperate gamble, but it might be enough. Certainly, he would not be able to escape this wholly unscathed.

There was a snick as the door to his office swung open. Neujmin sat, his back to the door, counting the footfalls. Two pairs, though the weird slurping sound could be an inquisitor. This was it. He puffed once on the cigar and spun round.

“And to what do I owe this visit?” he spoke with as much bravado as he could maintain, staring at the three powerful demons that had entered his room. Turq was a mainstay of Dis’s arena, when he wasn’t off on a mission of more importance, and the jelly was undoubtedly an inquisitor. His gaze shifted to their leader, the six-eyed demoness, her blinded gaze searching the room without purpose.

“You shall speak only when prompted, scum.” Turq barked, his two baboon heads snarling as the massive tendrils swayed before him in eagerness. Neujmin bit back his pride, and said nothing as Qualloth stepped before the other two. The Demoness held aloft the thurible, and an infernal flame sprung to life within the censer. The courts claimed the thurible’s contained a wick of Diablo’s own fire, and that it’s heat was his own. Its presence, his. Neujmin had always questioned the truth of the claim, but at this moment he would not dig the hole any deeper.

“You stand before Diablo’s courts, and are found wanting of strength. The lord of Terror has no need of a pawn that bows before man-filth. You are to be relieved of your position and existence, by decree of Lord Diablo himself. Before you stand Judge, Jury and Executioner. Make your plea well if you dare to sway Diablo’s judgement.” The six-eyed judge stepped backwards, allowing V’trock to ooze its way forward, bone spikes stabbing holes in the finely kept carpet. The inquisitor hummed with anticipation, the dead face within its mass staring blankly at Neujmin.

“I bow to none save Diablo, or his emissaries!” Neujmin cried, mind racing for his error. The Primes? “The primes I sent him were some of my best warriors! I offered them up as a tribute to his majesty!”

V’trock’s humming turned piercingly shrill, and Neujmin clasped his hands to his ears. He could feel warm liquid spilling between his meaty fingers. Through blurred vision he saw that neither Qualloth nor Turq seemed fazed by the sound. How could they stand it? Finally, the inquisitor broke the sound, and Neujmin realized with disgust that he had bit clear through his cigar.

“The Jury finds your plea invalid.” Qualloth spoke, her two middle eyes homed in on Neujmin, though the other four still wandered the office vainly. “By your own admission they are only useful in concert, yet you bowed to their caprice and sent each alone to audience with the Lord of Terror at THEIR OWN BEHEST.”

Neujmin blanched slightly, his hand straying towards the trigger concealed on his wrist. From beneath the fedora, the Demon boss eyed the trio before him, there was no way of knowing how much they were expecting a fight. Turq at least would be hoping for one, But Neujmin had always had trouble reading Inquisitors. No expression to read, no voice… It was almost unfair.

“By all the unholy hosts…” Neujmin began, “I never intended to bring any…”

“SILENCE!” screamed Turq’s two heads in concert.

“Your plea has failed to stir Diablo’s compassion.”Qualloth spoke, her eyes now back to empty wandering, “Your weakness must be purged from our ranks, that those who come after you remember the difference between master and slave. Executioner!”

Turq stepped forward eagerly, Baboon heads grinning with eagerness. Without another recourse, Neujmin pressed the trigger and ducked. Behind him the mouth of belial’s statue dropped open, and a clear liquid sprayed out across the room onto Diablo’s surprised court.

Holy water, purchased in Dis’s black market for an exhorbiant sum. It burned the skin of demon’s like the purest fires, and Turq’s twin heads howled as he took the brunt of the blast. Neujmin wasted no time, lifting and flinging his stone desk into the surprised Demogorgon, trapping him beneath its weight as his bulk burned with holy fire. Neujmin’s eyes stung from the mist left by the statue’s spray. He made towards the exit, but V’trock had gotten their first, the Ooze bristling with sharp spikes and metal barbs. It hummed a discordant rhythm, and Neujmin found it difficult to think clearly through the sounds. The inquisitor lunged and several spikes impaled the demon boss sinking deep and burning where the holy water still clung to them.

Neujmin grit his teeth and staggered back, two of the bone spikes still lodged in his chest. Massive fists closed around the bone shards and yanked them free. He was done for. The Inquistor had blocked his path and seemed to have avoided the worst of the Holy water. He had no weapons left that could hurt it. With a futile defiance, he hurled a bone shard into V’trock’s mass, the spike jutting deep into the suspended body.

Instantly, the discordant hum turned to a panicked thrumming, as V’trock sloshed away from Neujmin with a tender speed. It cradled the corpus within it, trying gently to work the bone spike free of its collar. Something compelled Neujmin to turn as Turq closed with a roar and to his surprise he rammed the other bone spike straight into Turq’s left head and out through the back of his skull. The Thresher roared and fell backwards, acidic tentacles slapping Neujmin and eating away chunks of his tailored suit.  With a speed born of desperation, Neujmin whirled back and bolted towards the door. V’trock was cooing worriedly in the corner, out of his path. Flight would buy him time to plan, a chance to think his way out of the situation.

A slimy tendril snagged his foot, and Neujmin dreams of escape melted in front of his eyes as he tripped towards the ground. The fedora fell from his demonic face, rolling to a stop at Qualloth’s feet. the thrice blinded had done nothing since the fighting had started, in fact from the scorch marks she might have simply let the holy water hit her without even trying to shield herself.

“Nnnnot getting… awayyy withat…” slurred Turq’s remaining head, crumpled on the floor behind him. Neujmin could feel the Thresher’s acid biting into the flesh of his ankle as the tentacle coiled tight around it.

“Executioner?” Qualloth questioned, but Turq’s only response was an incoherent gurgle from somewhere behind Neujmin. Without further query the thrice blinded turned to address Neujmin.

“The Executioner and Jury have been overturned, but the Judge remains. The Sentence must be upheld.” The thurible’s flame seemed strangely oppressive amidst the constant heat of the Underverse, and Neujmin’s gaze was drawn to it despite himself. He tore his eyes away to look up at her. Three pairs of blinded eyes bore harsh gaze down upon him as she held the sword hilt before her. A coil of fire sprung from it, forming a blade of pure flame. Neujmin stared into the literal fires of hell as the blade severed his head from its body.

Qualloth reached down and grabbed the head by its locks. Without further waiting she left the room, leaving the gurgling Turq and a distressed V’trock behind her. Diablo’s message had been delivered. A demon bows to no manfilth, prime or otherwise.

  Same Shit, Different Day
Posted by: Ash - 05-16-2018, 10:29 PM - Forum: Camelot - Replies (2)

A strong sturdy horse was best for mountainous travel, one that would be able to carry you for long periods of times and still have the strength to climb perilous paths. That was the ideal horse for a long drawn out journey.

The one that Ash summoned was not muscular, nor did it have thick legs with wide hooves. She barely knew how to ride a horse, much less what one looked like. The only way she even accomplished one was the fact that Jaixe summoned hers for her the first time; As well she had the dataverse which was about the only thing she missed while in the Underverse.

The horse that was meant to be under the sex demon was a fine specimen indeed, but he was a lean creature. She was of course without much weight to add to its burden, but this horse was very clearly meant to be for speed. It should not surprise anyone that is what Ash wanted. It had a blueish grey coat, short hair. The bright pink leather saddle and reins made it stand out even more, and the dark purple blanket between its back and her saddle made her feel accomplished in remembering that. Not that the creature would care.

The morality mirrored humanoid kicked out the rest of the magic fire before turning to her horse and grabbed the horn of the saddle with one hand and placed her hand on the seat for stability. Next her foot, her booted foot, inserted into the metal hoop her feet were to set in, and with a single motion she leaped her small body up and over the seat. Her butt landed in the saddle and her other leg hung limply on the opposite side. The horse tensed up as if it would begin to move, but she gave it a commanding tug and waited for it to respond before putting her foot where it belonged.

Ash shifted her weight a bit more until she was comfortable, glanced back at the enriched fog that has consumed the land, and then pushed the creature forward with a soft kick to its sides. Through the gate, they went.

On the other side were lush green rolling hills, a forest in the near distance, and birds chirping away at the beautiful morning scene. She rolled her eyes at the serenity before getting her bearings. Now that she’s back in the verse, she had a sense of where she was in it. She could see the goliath floating island in the sunrise. Its jagged edges were familiar and pointed in directions one or another way. With just a few brief moment, she could calculate which pointed end directed her towards the gate to Nexus. After that it would be just a straight path to Coruscant.

Ash gave the horse another nudge with the back of her flat boots and headed in the corrected direction. The two of them lazily moved through the verse, the morning wind picking up and blowing her cloak about, the tails of her shirt. She almost looked majestic.

-

It was a couple of hours of travel before anything of interest happened. In the distance near the tree lines, she noticed something happening. A large fight. She could hear the clashing of swords and people yelling as men died. It was entertaining to watch for the long few minutes it took to cross this particularly large meadow.

It wasn’t until she heard a familiar voice cry out to unleash the creature onto ‘them’ that any of it meant anything to her.

Surely enough she heard the shadows cry out in war as the trees began to split apart and a massive figure broke the line. She watched as birds fluttered away from the tops of the flora in some means of escape. Now they had her interest. Ash turned the horse beneath her towards the screaming crowd and gave it a hard kick. It hesitated not wanting to leap into danger but obeyed as it was kicked once more.

Ryus was covered in sweat, his black clothing was suffocating him already, but now that he was being driven into the divine sun he wanted to give up and die. His pale skin did little to help with relief as the last bit of shadow passed over his face. The bright light blinded him but all around him he could hear his soldiers yelling and crying out in pleas. He felt his heart swallowed up by guilt and and distress. He wanted nothing but to secure a escape plan for them all that would also win them this fight, but he was barely conscious himself.

Vina, a slender and tall woman with even thinner and taller rabbit ears that still manage to stand tall above her head, walked backwards as she shot arrow after arrow back at the enemy. “Sir.” She demanded attention with a short response. “We need to fall back.”

“Yes..” He coughed, he pulled the reins of his horse to direct it to flee. He began to wave his men and women away from the intimidating creature that emerged from only Omni know where.

The rabbit-eared girl shot forth a few more arrows before screaming to her fellow warriors. “RETREAT!”

Among the group were mostly human bodies with animal additions, but also a few out of the ordinary races. At least those that would be allowed in Camelot’s sanctuary. Several members of the resistance were pinned to the ground by ugly human men who grinned in pleasure at their horror.

A pink haired girl with cat ears pulled back in an upset fashion cries out as one of the men pin her swords with his shield, whilst putting all his weight into it he forces a black metal blade through her ribcage. She cries out before blood erupts from her lungs and she chokes on his sword. Eventually, she stops fighting back and all of his weight comes down on her ribcage, crushing the corpse before throwing his head back and laughing at them.

Sierra, an elf that had seen this, releases another arrow from her elven bow. It soars through the air and lands in its intended target, the laughing man’s voice barks short before he also chokes on the shaft of a man-made weapon. Tears in her eyes, the blonde haired elf turns and runs away. “I’ll prey for you Kiko.”

Her small body bounces through the battlefield, dressed in a pure white floor length dress, gathering most of the skirt as she did. She jumped over two other fallen fighters, glancing back and forming a list of the dead or dying. The elf reaches Vina eventually, already counting twenty of their fallen to pray for, “Vina! Where do we go?”

A shorter male comes up behind her, buckler in his right, short sword in his left. A fox’s tail dropping behind him and his firey red hair sticking to his head with sweat and blood. “Yer, Majesty. They’ve released some foul being. Please, I can’t let you die to something so hideous. Let us get you a horse.”

“TODD!” Sierra cried out, absolutely insulted. “You think I would do the coward thing and run!?”

Vina grabbed the elf by her small and frail looking shoulders. She looked directly into the unnaturally blue colored eyes with stern and battle-hardened red eyes. “I do. And you will.” She said, picking up the smaller woman just like that and throwing her over the back or Ryus’ horse. “Human. Get her to safety. We will meet up with you again.” All while the elf kicked and screamed.

“What? You’ll die!” Ryus cried out, his voice pushing the tone between professional commander and concerned lover. He stared deeply into her determined face and realized in his own heart that it would have to be her. If they were going to survive this, something crazy had to happen. It broke his heart. Suddenly he didn’t think dying under the heat was so bad. “I lo-”

The sound of thunder erupting somewhere behind them broke all conversation. The struggling elf behind Ryu even stopped to look back at what was going on. Everyone else stopped what they were doing and looked back as the effects of some mage’s magic. A dozen people have just been shoved away from a point in the center of the fallen soldiers and freedom fighters was a cloaked figure with a hood over their head. What could be easily spotted was a bruised colored tail with a heart like point at the end. It swayed once and twice, and then the figure was gone.

“Who was that?” Vina asked, no one in particular.

The whining of a horse with a bright pink saddle as it lifted up on its hind legs broke their concentration. It pawed at the air, someone was trying to steal it in the middle of the confusion. If it were a normal beast, perhaps but this one had been summoned by a prime and it twisted in the air. The creature that was trying to mount the beast was a short man with a slight hunch to his back. He pulled and tugged, and begged the horse to follow his will, but pushed too hard and the front hooves came down on his head. Again and again until the hand fell away from the reins and the horse could jump away from the body to stand away from the fighting.

Meanwhile, the electricity needed for her next attack swelled in her hand. It could be heard chirping as she jumped from tree to tree like a ninja. Too fast for the eyes to see, to quick for general soldiers to follow, too excited to contain the grin that split her face in half. Hidden by the magic of invisibility Ash waits for the last few seconds to pass by.

When she appear in front of the massive giant figure lightning was dancing up her arm. The moment she felt the charge up complete she released her Chain Lightning. A streak of neon blue flashes straight for the biggest target, powerful electric magic courses through them, stiffening the giant’s body  as it numbed him of all his senses. Then in another flash it snaps to the next body, metal attracting it as it passed from one knight to another, to another until six men in armor were statues.

Ash’s eyes were on the prize though, a little winded but she continued to driver herself forward, quick summoning the chainsword as she wall ran up the gut of this horrid boil covered half-naked giant. It exploded to life as she squeezed the arm and it began to roar. She dropped it low enough to drag along the belly of the grotesque creature she was climbing up on, which began to rip the guts open.

The brackish liquid exploded behind her into a high mud-colored wave. The skin breaks away soon after, barely able to contain the intestine of the creature before walls of guts tumble out of its oversized belly like a literal can of worms exploding from the pressurized container. Not really an image for the squeamish - several people were on the verge of vomiting.

Reaching the top of the creature, who was already dead and didn’t know it, she jumped and twisted in the air, holding onto Invictus firmly behind her as she spun. It caught the bulk of his neck and slid through it like butter. Another horrific spray of brownish black blood rained down on her as gravity pulled her down with it. The giant took a single step back before falling onto several trees, clearing itself a final resting place as she fell into the large organs. They broke her fall but acted much like a hybrid between slip-and-slide fun and the inflatable ramps that help evacuate an airplane. She bounced once before vanishing into the hot gore, the injured intestines covering her body.

That was enough to make a few hurl in disgust. Those who weren’t tossing their cookies were taking up the opportunity to take free shots at the full armored men who’d be temporarily be paralyzed as a result of being just close enough. They fell all six of them rather quickly thanks to the stranger and were already starting to drive the majority of the small army back.

“Who the hell was that?” Sierra asked, climbing up on the horse a bit more properly, reaching around Ryu to stay on.

“I have no earthly idea, but I am going to find out,” Vina said, pushing past Todd and wading through the middle of the battlefield to the smoking lumpy organs. Just by coincidence, this is while the last of the attacking army was being pushed into their own retreat.

Vina didn’t have time to be delicate here, nor did she care to baby this situation. Instead she reached with both hands shoulder deep into the spoiled smelling innards of the giant and dug about looking for their mystery hero. People gathered around curious at first before remembering that the mystery person was inside the pile of guts. Almost instantly the followed Vina’s example and reached after them.

Eventually a young man came across something. HIs hand touched something soft, slick, and hot, just as everyone did. However his fingers could tell the difference between flesh and fabric. He squeezed it a couple of times, trying to get his fingers around whatever it was that he was groping. His other hand replaced it as he reached up higher, hopefully to grab something more solid to pull on. Just as he was hoping for a cord or handle or something he could feel a curved bit that felt solid as he applied pressure. He gripped the fabric and pulled both with all his might.

When Ash surfaced it was with a loud cry of pleasure. Her savior had pulled her by the horns from her wet coffin and had been grabbing her chest firmly this whole time. When he noticed, his freckled face turned bright red and he pulled away immediately not to be punished for his mistake. The Storm demon didn’t have a lot of strength to her, but she grabbed his hand before he pulled free of her breast. “Wait a minute. It’s rude to grab and run, don't you know?” She teased, grinning through gore and grime all the same.

“WooOOOAAAHhhh…”
As Desman appeared in the grayscale room, vines littered and entangle about the place, Desman felt off. He didn’t remember being here, yet it felt like he knew it.

His hand naturally drew to the vines, caressing it as he walked around the room, seeing clearly the small gaps he could crawl through… A pressense drawing him closer until a vibrate orange flower caught his eye.

The more Desman leant down, the more he felt the attraction. Soon, he had picked up the flower.

“Arrggghhh!!!” He mind filled with thoughts, memories he didn’t remember having. The cybermen, the sea bodies across tier 6, the fighting. *puff* *puff* *’I have to contact Jak.’

Running out of the werehouse, his head pounding beyond comprehension, the man lifted a phone out of his pocket, he doesn’t know how it got there, but he couldn’t care less. “Phone! Call Jak!”

“I’m sorry. The person you have tried to contact is not available right now, please leave a message after the beep. *beep*”

“Jak! It's me, Desman! I need any info you have on the whereabouts of Morene, Dante, or Zedd. NOW!”

...and soon the light engulfed him as he reached out. It was blinding, but not unpleasant in anyway. He instincts naturally told him to keep walking forward, and soon, he saw something other then the monochromatic outlines of the Void. A nice clear sky blue to be exact.

*Aaaaaaaahhh…*
Desman plumited towards the ground as soon as he step out of the portal, his heartbeat accelerating as he did. The beating inside his head getting louder and louder as he fell closer and closer to the ground.

*slap*
Wait, he’s stopped... Opening his eyes revealed him to be dangling in front of a pastel pink building. It’s windows big enough to let two of him fall if of them simultaneously. Looking up he was able to see the man who grabbed him, their bandana swishing in the wind. “Master Desman.”

Oh fuck no. “Hey there… Barry?”

“Arin”

“Right… this is not our hotel so… what are you doing here?”

“Oh, one of the old hotel owners associates wanted to discuss plans. Since you were gone and we didn’t know when you were coming back so we decided it was best if I go in your stead.” Pulling the redhead up, the samurai asked another question. “Where is the mistress of the house?”

“We… sort of got separated…” Desman’s voice became noticeably more depressed as he said this.

“Do… you know where she is?” For a moment it seemed like Arin’s rough shell was broken.

“I think I know where she may be.”

“Then take this.” The rough exterior already returned as he handed Desman a whistle. “I was given it to make my travel home safer, but you need it more.”

“Thanks…” Taking one last look at Arin, for the time without annoyance, Desman blew the whistle, and off he vanished.

Good evening Sir Shay, I have a mission you may be interested in, I have recently learned of a certain individual prime who may be in need of help from our new hospital, I would ask that you go to the location I have attached to this email and ask them to pay us a visit, if they seem to resist then would you please tell them that a certain "Yandere Lover" sent for them and that according to him, her and I Victor Wolfe may share a lot of interests that I would love to... talk over with her over a nice glass of very red wine.

This mission will do wonders to help our PR and could even lead to us being able to expand our diplomatic reach into new territory and I would owe you a favour.

Lots of Love, Victor Wolfe.

Breaking News!

Quote:[Image: AlienatedAjarKakarikis-max-1mb.gif]

An explosion at an Imperial fundraiser has rocked Tier 2 this evening. Sources say that Rebel forces set off three different explosions inside the banquet hall, claiming many lives, including those of active duty soldiers who were attending the event. Emergency services are on site now and word has reached the network that two companies of Clone Troopers from the 13th Legion have been deployed to the scene as police forces actively search for leads. An eyewitness account saw Stormtrooper soldiers descending the building on cables and break through the wall after the initial detonations. They were said to have opened fire immediately and were seen fleeing the scene shortly after. No survivors have been reported as of yet, but we'll continue to bring you up-to-date coverage as the situation unfolds.

This has been a Holo-Net Emergency Broadcast.

So how are you finding your new position, just thought I would send an email checking up on our newest recruit, I would also like to ask you about the "Yandere"? Is that the right word? The crazy girl that you know, as you may have noticed Nippur is a little bit of a sausage fest and I would not mind attracting a few more women into the faction for... reasons of ... equality! So if you let me know about her maybe I can find a way to get your friend here.

Lots of love

Lord Victor Wolfe.
