The forest seemed as alive as it always did, glowing with life and shimmering with the sensation of warm dew drops falling with each step taken along a not so well used path. In some cases the glow was quite literal as mushrooms of various colors had a dim shade to them, as if they were more alive than one could guess looking up close. Mana filled these lands had major importance to many creatures, humans, animals, and those in between alike, but for Ricter they had their own need as he began to collect the glowing plants and place them into a small basket. He himself didn't too much need them, in fact he was doing this for a friend of his, a witch.
 
They had spent most of their days together, and over time he watched her become a cute little girl, to a studious mage, and finally a 122 year old witch who still looked just as young as she did when they first left home. It was her birthday today and she wanted to make something special, maybe a dish or some kinda potion to cause a bit of havoc, which ever the case he knew she meant well and never did anything too heinous, but he wouldn't leave it out of her power to make it rain candy once in a while. His little trip was going well, he got to see what was around this part of the woods and had time to think about his own long life, granted by the witch he so gratefully swore to protect.
 
But his adventure had taken him to what seemed like the grove he was looking for, a certain flower being its native host as he walked around ad began to place them into the basket, only a large tree in the middle really made it easy to stand out beyond what he could normally see. Which that tree did perk his interest, especially given the big gaping hole in it that didn't lead to the other side, no, instead it lead to a perpetual darkness that only those with the vision of a god could peer through. It was dark, but gave off faint colors of swirling 'magma' like transitions that made it enticing and pulled him forward.
 
Surely in this world anomaly's were a given, but he had been so used to magic and the like he didn't fear them as much as another person might, it was probably very dangerous too but it didn't change his view point on the matter. Besides, if he got stuck somewhere all he had to do was wave his sword in a certain way and his Witch companion would literally summon him to her side, a perk of being a familiar. So as he reached a hand into the tree he would aim to step through, maybe see what was on the other side of this possible portal, though he hoped it wouldn't be death, that tended to be very painful given how many times he died and had to be summoned again later on.

The world around him began to crash and sink, like a rocking ship that was sailing through a storm, the ground shifted and moved while his mind tried to comprehend what was happening. He'd think he was floating for a second if not for the solid sensation of ground under his feet, the mix of colors around him forming nothing but a hard to see blur and eventually beginning to fizzle out into a blank whiteness. His eyes were still getting adjusted to what happened, normally he'd be concerned but at the same time he would wonder what kind of acid trip did he just go on? But that would be for another time, for now he would look around himself and wonder who or what managed to make an empty void, with a fountain, and doors leading to places.
 
"This is...interesting?" Scratching his head he of course didn't understand, that is till some large blank figure revealed themselves to him. Of course being startled thinking it was a monster of some sort, he'd show his weapon ad hold it in two hands, ready to strike if need be but his fears were put too rest as they explained a number of things. What this place was, what could be done here, even showing him that things could be made or summoned by his own hand for once, a very interesting place indeed. But, "Thank you but I think I'll be heading back to my own realm now, Abi, take me back please...Uh...Abi?..." 
 
He was calling for his Witch but no answer, normally just saying her name made it so she could hear him, maybe he should try something else? Which as he had his sword out already he would begin channeling magic to it, indicating he was maybe fighting or injured, she always at least communicated with him to see if he was okay if he himself was using magic. But nothing, ”Huh? What is the meaning of this, send me back Omni!” He’d demand as the figure would just grin and fade away, earning a riled up growl from the weasel as he frowned at his new turn of events. Which as he placed away his weapon all he could think about was getting back to his own place of belonging, but he might as well get accustomed here to better himself for what could be a long journey.

Ebony and Summer are currently fused together permanently (usually with SP in fights, but also with the move below). They're unlikely to separate until some time after Dark Data (during or after their void quest). That's not likely to happen for like... half a year or so. Can we both get our names changed to "Stormy Night" (with one of us as "Stormy_Night") for the duration of our fusion? Similarly to what Proto Mouse did ages back, I think.

Greetings, friends. I come bearing word of yet another probably horrible idea.

Dungeons and Dragons. Fifth edition, specifically. The game would be run on sundays. Combination of Discord for organizing stuff and questions, and Roll20 for things like character sheets, rolling and that nonsense. For multiple reasons (the most major of which being that I'm terrible at making them), there will be no maps, or at the very least maps will be few and far between; everything will be done theater of the mind, with any maps that do get used being reserved for important moments or combat scenarios. Game will be played via text, sessions anticipated starting some time in the 7-10PM EST time block, and run anywhere from two to six hours (depending on our level of craziness and/or availability).

Currently in need of at least three players, though room is present for four. If you have any interest, or further questions about this bundle of shenaniganery, just post here and gimme a holler. Make sure to lemme know what starting time would be best for you, too, so we can organize that properly. Edit: also, iffen you could, mention any experience you have with D&D (5e and just in general) as well as Roll20, so's I can tweak things properly.

As short as the drive from the fountain to the gate to Coruscant had been, the drive which lead him through that gate, and into a designated parking area was even shorter. Only a minute, maybe two, when time for waiting and directions was factored in. Beyond there, it had been a lot of waiting and following simple instructions and further directions to see him to a proper screening and welcome center.

To such an end, when he finally reached the front of the queue and met the bored-looking face of the man standing there, his own expression had glazed over into restless boredom.

"Hello, welcome to Coruscant," the man droned, visibly fighting down a sigh. "New arrival or returning visitor?"

Roger forced a smile as he spoke up. "You could say I'm a new arrival. I've been in this Omniverse only for a short while now."

"Right...so new arrival to Coruscant. Freshly arrived to the Omniverse." He made some notes on a device in his hand. Like a metal clipboard, but with no paper, only some kind of screen and...projected image. Made of light, if Roger's senses weren't failing him. Holograms? Bizarre. The bored man looked up again. "Just a few more questions to get you on file..." he monotoned. "Name?"

"Roger Smith."

More notes. "Former occupation?"

For a moment, Roger debated his answer to that one, before deciding to leave out any mention of Big O for now. He was pretty sure it hadn't followed him here anyway, and trying to summon something like that seemed...out of his league. "Negotiator," he finally answered.

The man just stared at him for a moment before shrugging and applying further notes. "I can take a guess...but what skills does that entail? And any other notable skills you might possess?"

Roger sighed at that. "I was a neutral party sent in to handle negotiations and delicate situations. Arranging safe return or trade for hostages, transporting the money or requested items and delivering them back to the ones they were taken from. Arranging and presiding over other matters and disputes. Occasionally detective work when the job at hand necessitated it." He shrugged. "Any task that could be solved with words, for anyone who paid the right price."

"Uh-huh..." The man just kept a neutral expression there, further noting down this information.

"As for other skills..." Roger paused again. "...a long time ago, I was a member of the Military Police. I left employment there over personal matters. My skills may be a little rusty, but...I did receive training in combat. Unarmed and basic knife skills, as well as firearms." He paused, looking away. "...and I'm also a skilled driver and pilot."

The man simply nodded again. "Right...fairly standard then." There was a tinge of relief in his voice, the first trace of genuine emotion he'd shown thus far. "Thank you for your cooperation, mister..." He fiddled with the strange clipboard-device in his hand. "...Smith." He looked back up and offered a forced, tired smile. "Just a few more questions. Then we can show you to someone who can answer any questions you have and direct you to a suitable location for getting you sorted into the city."

Roger just cracked the faintest hint of a smirk. "Of course, of course." Finally...getting somewhere. Just had to suffer through this stifling security and introduction. Paperwork was everywhere, even when paper itself wasn't, it seemed...

Asura had come to the conclusion that he was too familiar with this type of environment. The lava flows, the ashen skies, the volcanoes in the distance... All too familiar. He mentally cursed the Seven Deities once again for the destruction they had wrought on Gaea in the power hungry rampage. At least he had one advantage, his body just doesn't give a damn about this kind of environment, and frankly neither did he. It was proving to be far more barren than he was expecting. Nothing had even attacked him yet, where as on Gaea he would have attracted a Gohma or two by now.

Asura continued his trek through the wastes, climbing past the mountains, jumping from ledge to ledge like a humanoid goat. But even in doing so, he was irked. Normally he would be able to just ignore the mountain all together, go over or around it. Instead he was forced to climb just due to his body's new limitations. He frequently strained to jump higher, and his body just refused to cooperate. No matter how hard he pushed himself, it just REFUSED to do as he wished! The more he climbed, the more frustrated he became with his limitations. How?! How had he become so weak?! He had learned control over his power, and now he couldn't even use it!

"DAMN IT ALL!"

As he squeezed through a choke he had found to finally get out of climbing this mountain and return to walking, he slammed his fist into the wall as hard as he could, and was infuriated to find it hadn't even cracked. Clenching his teeth, he removed his hand and continued his walk. This choke was surprisingly long... Perhaps a small stream had flown through here long ago. Assuming it had not simply been created such anyway. It took a bit, but eventually he made it through to the other side, and was greeted by something he wasn't expecting.

As he finally escaped the tight squeeze... A ball of lava was flying straight towards his face. His eyes widened as he ducked down, making a roll forward to avoid the sudden projectile. He glanced back at it, taking notice of the molten rock as the viscous fluid dripped down the side, before looking in the direction it came from. There he saw a group he couldn't quite make out standing before a... Giant lava rock? His face screwed up as though a clown had suddenly presented itself to him. He wasn't aware of it at the time, but this was an Igneo Talus.

Deciding this had gone on long enough, Asura let out a roar as he rushed in, Mantra pouring into his arms. HE WOULD DO SOME DAMAGE IF IT WAS THE LAST THING H E DID, DAMNIT! With a jump his arms began to take on a golden glow, before he slammed his fist right into the lava rock's non existent face, and for just a moment, took the chance to smirk when he saw the cracks spiderweb upon its face. Success... The cracks were small, but noticeable. Asura fell to the ground in front of the group, as he arms became a sudden dark black with red cracks. Damn overheat...

"GET BACK." From the near growl in his voice, it didn't sound like he would be taking no for an answer, from whoever it was anyway.

Standard issue for all shinigami, Zanpakutō (or Soul Cutter) are spiritual blades that serve as physical representations of the user’s power and soul. Zanpakutō typically take the form of a japanese sword, Zaraki’s own taking the form of a nodachi. The sword measures approximately 170 centimeters long from pommel to point, with the hilt measuring around 30 cm. The blade has a very rough and jagged appearance, bearing many chips and mars along its length due to its wielder's careless fighting style. Despite looks, the blade cuts as well as any sharpened blade, due to Zaraki’s immense spiritual pressure. As the blade is literally an extension of his soul, he wields it effortlessly, being capable of dealing blindingly fast slashes with apparent ease. The sword’s hilt is white and wrapped in bandages, matching its sheath. When not in combat, Zaraki keeps the blade at his side, tucked into his obi.

Though Zaraki typically chooses to follow no particular fighting style, he has been trained to some degree in the art of kendō. He loathes the practice, as the few times he has used a formal kendō technique his opponent was immediately slain. He thus only uses such stances if he feels his opponent is worth the effort (i.e. if he believes it won’t outright kill them). Gripping the sword with both hands, he adopts a chūdan pose and slashes downward, producing a powerful wave of golden energy. As Zaraki is not proficient with energy manipulation, this technique is a rather short-range attack produced entirely by the strength of the swing rather than consciously expelling spirit energy as other shinigami might. The effect is a cone of destructive power that travels around 3.5 meters from where the tip of his sword makes contact, being approximately .75 meters at its widest point, before fizzling out.

Overpowering Reiatsu (Tier 1 Defensive Super Move, 600)

Even among other Captain-level shinigami, Kenpachi has been noted to have a monstrous amount of spiritual power. The effect of this in battle is a positively suffocating spiritual pressure if he consciously pulls back on his self-imposed limits. Those who have experienced his raw spiritual pressure have described an enormous weight bearing down on them, as well as a feeling of dread. When used in the Omniverse, this translates to basic attacks and super moves of the same tier either ‘failing’ before they are properly executed or missing entirely (the effect is the same, description is fodder).
