  Vekta's Best
Posted by: Lucas Kellan - 05-31-2018, 02:33 PM - Forum: The Astral Realm - No Replies

A sprawling landscape of colors laid out Vekta City in Lucas's dream. Vekta City was a truly remarkable place if Lucas ever had time to view Vekta City in its full wonder.

He looked up at the VSA (Vektan Security Agency) building, remembering every bit and piece of the Shadow Marshall training academy. The training was mostly classified but graduation consisted of a hologram where one of the academy's top directors stared down each willing recruit and said a deep yet hearty Congrats to each and every new Shadow Marshal.

Lucas remembered each word as each Shadow Marshall played a quiet role in the background while the other parts of the Vektan armies played bigger parts on the battlefield.

  Overcoming Obstacles, Forging Friendships
Posted by: Takanomiya Hijiri - 05-31-2018, 02:11 PM - Forum: Coruscant - Replies (6)

The freed hostages spilled out from the building in a great tide, whilst the Battle Rabbit stood off to one side, returned to his human form for the time being, his broken arm hanging by his side and his expression rigid and controlled as he fought not to show the pain he was feeling.

He had no idea what had come over Shotgun Steve to encourage the man to actually make use of one of his Secondaries in combat, rather than simply treating her as a mere accessory, as the racist, old Prime had done when they had first fought… but it would appear that even someone such as that was not completely incapable of learning.

It had occurred to Hijiri that he may need to summon himself one of those banishment circles he’d heard tell of from the Dataverse… if the Northside Wolfpack’s Claw was going to continue growing in power and unleashing new, unique abilities every time he returned from death then he could quickly become a serious threat if not removed from the picture permanently.

That was a longer term goal, though. For now, his first task was simply getting home… which could pose some difficulty. Even if the NSW themselves somehow hadn’t noticed the goings on here, despite the whole thing being broadcast on live TV, there were plenty of other petty criminals around, even here in Northside, where the two primary gangs—the Wolfpack and the Pyros—held their nigh-unassailable duopoly over organised crime.

Any one of those thugs and lowlifes could decide that even a Prime might make an easy target when worn out and suffering from a broken limb… and that killing one such as this, who had openly challenged one of the superpowers of the region, could net them quite the reward.

Still, there was little point in putting it off, so once he was sure that everyone else had abandoned the scene of the crime, and he had called the nearest EPD station to alert the Empire’s soldiers to the occurrence—acting the part of a good and upstanding citizen—the Rabbit strode off down the street, his eyes peeled for danger.

When the eighteen-wheeler rounded the corner, he was tempted to smile, but instead put a scowl he wasn’t feeling on his face. It was one of his, and in his absence it would appear that some enterprising gangsters had thought to paint their logo—a thick, dark green stripe with the letters ‘TTG’ emblazoned across it in white, along with a pair of much thinner white lines, one each positioned just a little way inwards from the top and bottom of the green section—along the sides of the silver behemoth.

When it drew to a halt, a smug-looking Alejandro reached across from the driver’s seat to open the passenger door, “Need a lift, sir?”

“Didn’t I explicitly tell you to wait back at the Pillar?” though he wasn’t about to show any gratitude after having a direct order disobeyed, the question was uttered drily, as he climbed up into the vehicle. He couldn’t really pretend to be too angry, since this was potentially saving him a whole lot of trouble.

“You did,” his security chief admitted, with not a hint of contrition in his tone, “though if I remember correctly you also said something about it being easy to defeat that guy… and then left us to watch as you went and got the shit kicked out of you by a half-naked girl. Good job there, by the way, sir, if you were aiming to lull the enemy into a false sense of security then you’ve done a bang up job. I’m sure no one in all of Northside will consider us any sort of serious threat now.”

“Alright, alright, point taken,” Hijiri muttered irritably, slamming the door shut behind him, “going after him alone may have been a bad call. You happy?”

“I’d be a lot happier if I hadn’t been forced to watch you almost getting yourself killed, but right now I’ll settle for getting you back home in more-or-less one piece, so you can get that arm seen to… sir.” as he spoke, the Spaniard pulled away from the roadside, before taking the first left, following the quickest route back to their base of operations.

Hell of a Ride

“Without music, life would be a mistake.” ― Friedrich Nietzsche

With an urgency wrought of sheer terror, the stagecoach driver cracked his whip and spurred the horses onward.  The team of four beasts frothed at the mouth, their eyes rolling wildly with exhaustion, but they did not relent.  A cloud of dust rose from their pounding hooves, stinging the driver’s eyes.  Somewhere behind the stagecoach, he could hear the baying and snarling of the worgs and the gleeful hoots of their orc riders.

Their path took them up a winding mountain path carved deep into the bedrock.  On either side, sheer stone walls offered no alternate route.  The only way was forward.  The pursuit had carried on through the night.  As dawn broke in a tapestry of pastel hues, the slobbering worgs showed no signs of relenting.  The driver knew beyond doubt the hulking, wolf-like beasts would outlast the horses.

“Yer slowin’ down on me, Cor!” a voice boomed from the back of the stagecoach.  “These damn beasts’re nippin’ at our heels!”

“Gods above,” Cormac, the driver, cursed under his breath.  Then, loud enough for the voice’s owner to hear, “The horses won’t last, Otto!”  He chanced a second glance back as the meaty, bald head of Otto Wellworth popped into view, jostling back and forth as the stagecoach ran over some stray stones.  In spite of the circumstances, the bard wore his characteristically wide grin.

“Make ‘em last, damn it!” Otto boomed.  “I’ll see what I can do back ‘ere!”

Cormac’s only reply was a second sharp crack of the whip.  His urging had little effect on the rapidly tiring beasts.  If anything, their pace seemed to slow.

Up and up they climbed, the air growing thinner as they gained altitude.  Cormac coaxed the beleaguered horses around a sharp bend.  All at once, the stone walls surrounding them gave way to open air, revealing a precipice right in front of them, a deep canyon doubtlessly filled with the sharp rock spikes and thick, brambly vines common to the Swordtooth Mountains.  The stagecoach driver desperately twisted the reins, and the horses responded to the movement by cutting hard to the right, away from the sheer drop.

The stagecoach lurched and groaned in protest, kicking up loose stones and shale.  Cormac’s eyes bulged as the rear half of the stagecoach skidded over the edge of the precipice, its wheels spinning freely.  Time slowed for the stagecoach driver when the gargantuan frame of Otto Wellworth, still grinning and whooping, shook loose from his precarious perch on the back of the vehicle and launched out into the open air.

*****

The hapless bard’s corded muscles strained as he hefted his pride and joy, the twin-headed battle-axe guitar known simply as ‘The Axe’.  He twisted to reorient himself and lunged, stretching his right arm, and the weapon, to their fullest length.  The bard beamed as one curved blade of the marvelous weapon hooked over the small step leading up to the door of the vehicle.  The rear wheels of the stagecoach regained traction and it completed the turn unscathed, but Otto’s celebration proved to be short-lived, as the motion jerked him into the vertical stone face of the cliff with a sickening crunch, before dragging his bruised and battered body up over the edge and onto flat ground.  The horses, terrified and whinnying, did not respond to Cormac’s frenzied cries to slow down, and so Otto was along for the ride, bouncing and scraping behind the stagecoach as it surged onward.

Otto Wellworth could not remember the last time he had known such excitement.

“Look at the coffin with golden handles!” he boomed, the song flowing freely from him.  “Isn’t it grand to be bloody well dead!  Look at the tombstone, bloody great boulder!  Isn’t it grand to be bloody well dead?”

As the last words left his lips, a sharp crack signalled the end of the stagecoach step, Otto’s battle-axe snapping the thing in two.  For the second time in as many minutes, the bard experienced a moment of weightlessness.  Then he crashed back down to earth, skidding and tumbling, with no sense of up and down.  Finally, his momentum ran out and he landed in a heap on the warm stone.

“La ta tee, da diddley dee, la ta tee ta tee da,” he groaned, his wide smile stained with blood and dirt.  “Hell of a time, Cormac!  Thanks fer the ride!”

A low, throaty growl interrupted Otto’s attempt at humor.  He swung his bald head to look behind him, and found himself peering into the jaundiced, bloodshot eyes of a giant worg.

*****

As the stagecoach rounded another bend, more cautiously this time, Cormac allowed the horses to slow.  Gallop to canter, canter to trot, trot to walk, and then they were still.  The horses whinnied and nickered nervously, not convinced the threat of the terrifying worgs was at an end.  Their long, muscled legs trembled with exertion.

“Damn the bard’s stinking hide,” Cormac growled.  His heart pounded in his chest.  He had hired Otto Wellworth to protect his master, as an escort through the dangerous canyons and winding, bramble-choked roads of the Swordtooth Mountains.  Instead, the bard’s booming songs and the magically amplified notes of his perplexing battle-axe guitar had brought every orc in the gods-forsaken mountains down upon their heads.  “Good riddance.”  The stagecoach driver spat into the dirt.

Yet Cormac found himself looking back down the road toward where he had callously abandoned Otto.  He had a duty to his master, that much was true, but the young man also considered himself to be a man of principle.  It did not sit right with him to leave Otto to certain death.  Heaving a sigh of frustration, he swung his legs to the side of the stagecoach and dropped to the dirt.  He drew his thin rapier and strode to the door of the vehicle, rapping on it with his knuckles.

“Madam?” he said, concerned his master might have been knocked unconscious at some point during their wild ride.

The door cracked open, and he was relieved to see the pale blue eye of Lady Alrentis peering at him.  “Are they gone?”  The words emerged almost as a whimper.

“For now, madam,” Cormac replied.  “But our escort is gone with them.  Lost his footing and fell from the stagecoach.”

“A shame,” came Lady Alrentis’s sarcastic reply.

“Indeed.”  Cormac bared his teeth in a humorless grin.  “With your blessing, madam, I would like to go back for him.  Otto Wellworth may be a mercenary, but I fear we may not survive our journey without his protection.”

“Protection?” the dignitary scoffed.  “By my estimation he brings more danger than he prevents.”

Her words rang true in Cormac’s ears, but the stagecoach driver remained insistent.  “Madam, you will hear no argument from me on that point, but the fact remains that I am ill-equipped to handle the next enemies who take notice of our passage.”  He brandished his meager rapier to illustrate his point.  “A single worg would prove my equal, while it would take a score or more to defeat Otto Wellworth.”

Lady Alrentis sighed from within the depths of the stagecoach.  “Very well, Cormac.  You have my blessing.  But make haste,” she warned, “for we must make our way out of these mountains by nightfall.”

“Very well.”  Cormac pulled the stagecoach door closed and listened for the click of Lady Alrentis engaging the lock.  “Do not open this door until I return.”

Twirling the diminutive sword in his hand, Cormac set off back up the road toward Otto’s position.  The dust cloud from the stagecoach’s wild ride had yet to settle, gritty particles drifting through the air to settle on the stagecoach driver’s fine clothes.  This high in the mountains, unprotected by the sheer cliffs that held back the blazing sun, heat shimmered in the air in front of him.  Beads of sweat traced long paths down his face, drenching the collar of his shirt.

As Cormac neared the corner around which Otto had fallen, he drew a steadying breath and ran the back of his free hand across his forehead.  While he had dispatched an orc or two in service to Lady Alrentis, the inexperienced stagecoach driver had never met the likes of a worg face to face.  Yet still he turned the corner, bound by a strict code of morality that transcended his own safety.

The scene before him stole Cormac’s breath.  The road bordering the precipice had ruptured, leaving deep furrows and cracks.  A massive pillar of stone had erupted from the center of the battlefield, towering more than ten feet tall and five across, like the trunk of an ancient tree.  Strewn across the road, the corpses of a score of orcs and words lay still, their limbs bent and broken at odd angles.  If any of their foes had survived the encounter, they had fled back the way they came.

And Otto Wellworth, the infamous mercenary, was nowhere to be seen.

*****

Otto tumbled through endless darkness.  While he could not feel the wind rushing by his face, he nevertheless knew he was falling by the churning sensation in the pit of his stomach.  Clutching The Axe tightly, the bard whistled a soft tune, unperturbed by the bizarre situation in which he had landed.  Adventure was Otto Wellworth’s middle name, and this was shaping up to be quite an adventure indeed.

Then, he stopped.  Still suspended in utter darkness but no longer falling, Otto peered into the distance as the silhouette of a man approached.  As the figure neared, it did not resolve into a recognizable person as Otto had anticipated.  Instead, it remained a vague, blurred outline.  All at once, a mellifluous voice filled Otto’s mind.  My name is Omni.  This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.

Still whistling, and without an alternative, Otto watched as the mysterious figure produced a swirling, rainbow orb.

This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.  You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn.  That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.

The darkness faded, replaced by stark, bright light.  Otto once again found himself on solid ground, his brow furrowed in consternation.

“What in the name of me bald head,” he grumbled, trying to make sense of the last several minutes.  He wondered, not for the first time, if he had whacked his head one too many times.  The ache in his muscles, and the many bloody scrapes and purplish-yellow bruises he had sustained in his battle with the orcs, told him this was not a dream.  He had indeed been transported… someplace else.

As one always seemed to in times of confusion and hardship, a tune popped into Otto's head.  Shrugging his broad shoulders, the implacable bard raised The Axe and began to play.

Omni hands you a glimmering orb in which all the colors of the rainbow coalesce. “This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. “Babe."

"BABE!” A woman called out to him.

Broly snapped out of the fog he was in and realized that he was standing in a fountain, ankle deep in water. As reality came crashing back down to his conscious mind, his ears picked up the familiar sound of the Schism Reactor winding down as his wife climbed out of a hatch on it’s turret, dropping down to the bow of the 80-ton war machine.

“Still shell shocked I see.” Emilia said with a grin as she leapt from the edge of the tank bow, sloshing her way through the water.

“Yeah, what the fuck happened? Some white guy just held up a rainbow-colored turd.”

“Better question. Why are you still Super Saiyan?” His wife countered.

“What?” Broly said, taken aback.

Quickly looking down at his reflection the male Saiyan noticed his eyes were teal and his hair was blonde still, but he felt no drain on his stamina or energy reserves. Looking back at his wife he almost laughed as she was washing what appeared to be months of grime off her face and filling several canteens from her belt with water. Closing his eyes, Broly tried to relax his transformation like he used to but found that there was nothing to relax.

“So apparently there is no transformation to relax, Emz.” He said, sloshing over to his wife.

Taking one of her canteens he emptied it into his stomach, which made her scowl and snatch it away from him.

“Well, then show me what you got. See if you at least have access to the benefits before we write it off as some weird Omniverse thing.” Emilia said, dipping her newly emptied canteen back into the fountain water.

“Omniverse? The fuck are you talking about? Where are we?” Broly questioned, taking a step back to ready himself.

“Just…don’t ask and get combat ready.” She replied, dumping her newly filled canteen on her head, letting the cold water flush the sand from her hair.

Crouching down into a squared stance Broly clenched his fists and ignited a flame like golden aura that shot up around his body. The water around him spraying everywhere as he unleashed a roar that sent his power skyrocketing. The ground beneath him shook as he drew upon the wealth of energy he had within him, his golden aura expanding upward and out. As quickly as he had started, the Legendary Super Saiyan took a breath and relaxed his energy letting his aura flash away.

“I’m significantly weaker here. I don’t even have access to the true form.” He said, stepping out of the fountain and over to the tank.

“I figured as much.” Emilia replied with a nod, stuffing her canteens into a rucksack that was tied to the side of the armored skirt that protected the tank treads from enemy fire.

“Hop in. You’re driving. We have a lot to talk about on our way. I assume you still know how to drive a stick?”

“Always.” Broly said with a smirk, grabbing hold of one of the double barrels and pulling himself up onto the bow of the tank, before opening the hatch to the drivers’ seat.

  In Brightest Day
Posted by: Jack Darby - 05-30-2018, 09:30 PM - Forum: The Nexus - Replies (7)

Earlier in the day, Jack had been on his way to Oa. This had not been by his own choice but because a power ring had latched onto his finger, and had been rather insistent. Unfortunately Jack did not think he had reached the destination of Oa. The reason he did not believe he had reached Oa was where he was currently at. At present he was floating inside of a black void and completely unable to make his limbs respond to his commands at all. A million questions, and then some ran through the brain of the human turned Cybertronian turned Green Lantern.

As he thought of some of the questions, a white entity appeared. The individual appeared to be made out of pure white which seared his ey...his optics to look at due to the contrast.

“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”

Hopefully Omni was not like Unicron, or someone along those lines. For Jack really didn’t want to have to restore the memories of Optimus Prime. Wherever he was, was enough of a problem for him to have to resolve. What he did not need was anything else added to the list of things he needed to get done in a short order.

A glimmering orb of what was dubbed Omnilium was handed over to him.

“This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.

The orb appeared to shine on the interior with all the colors of a rainbow. In a way it reminded him of the beauty of the Matrix of Leadership, or the other Iacon Relics. Relics that were beyond the reach he had. Thinking of the relics made him think of the people he had left behind when this had happened. Essentially he had been kidnapped by Omni.

“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn.

So Omni had essentially teleported him here for his amusement. There was something about him that “interested” Omni. This was something that Jack did not know about. Apparently the Omniverse played by video game rules of “respawning” unlike his world. Or perhaps a clone was made and all his memories were transferred. Starscream had after all managed to make a clone armada at one point that were linked to him. Admittedly they had not lasted long, but they had been used against Megatron. Still, Jack had no plans to try to escape just yet.

“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”

The blackness faded away, revealing the harsh white that seared his optics forcing the young Darby, the former Green Lantern to shut them. Summoning the orb of Omnilium to his hands, Jack admitted he was at a loss. Omnilium was not something Jack had ever encountered before and he had no clue as to how to make the substance work.

“Password” said Jack, as he held out the orb. Nothing.

“Access Granted,”  Yet again, nothing.

“Work already!”  Jack slammed the orb against the ground hard, and yet again, nothing.

“Do something!.”

“Initiate Protocols.”

Both of those statements did not make the orb of Omnilium do anything. How was he supposed to make the orb of Omnilium work, when he didn’t even understand the basic principles behind said orb, at present? There was one of the questions Jack was going to have to find the answer to, along with the answer to why Omni had kidnapped him.

The orb of Omnilium was banged into the ground by Jack who was beginning to get a bit frustrated. For one thing he was stuck in a place that appeared to be so bright it was almost blinding. His eyes wanted to shut, and were tearing up because of how much the white environment shone. Really, this place, whatever it was, was one that Jack hated. The one thing he hated more than that was his confusion about this place. One thing was for certain, though. Judging from what Omni had said there would be others here in the Omniverse. Thus, it was in his best interest to get his power ring working as soon as possible. Yet try as he might it would not make even the most basic of construct, nor light up. In addition, it was not allowing him to contact the Green Lantern Corps - or anyone else for that matter.

Sighing, Jack slid the ring off of his finger. If only there was a way to make the ring do what he needed.

[Switching] Dexter Mills to Otto Wellworth
Posted by: Gambit - 05-30-2018, 11:09 AM - Forum: Joining - Replies (1)

Note: Dane has approved the moves via PM.

Character Name: Otto Wellworth, the BomBARDier

Total Spent OM: 4,200

Character History: Otto Wellworth is all about value.  As the only mercenary bard in the realm, he believes his services should provide paying adventurers with a little bang, as it were, for their buck.  Whether empowering his companions with thunderous song or shattering the very earth with explosive riffs from his spectral guitar, creative ballistics is the name of Otto’s game.

Specializing in area-of-effect crowd control and buff tactics, Otto feels most at home charging into battle against hordes of enemies.  An infamous mercenary in his homeland, he specialized in accompanying groups of adventurers on spectacular quests to the far-reaches of the realms, blasting, strumming, and singing his way to glory… for the right price, of course.

It was during one such adventure that Otto, ever ready for the next in a long line of perilous undertakings, answered the call to the Omniverse.

Physical Description: Closer to seven feet than to six, Otto Wellworth is a mass of tan skin and corded muscle.  While his head is shaved bald, he has enormous, bushy eyebrows and a thick mustache that is his pride and joy.  When the elements allow, he prefers to remain bare-chested, clad only in leather breeches and high boots.  If he must, he begrudgingly dons a fur-trimmed leather jerkin.  Otto strikes most as intimidating, but the perpetual twinkle of humor in his deep, blue eyes reveals his true personality: a fierce love for adventure, and a fiercer loyalty to those whose coin funds his endless travels.

The Axe (300 OM) (Physical Strength)

Otto’s signature weapon, The Axe is the source of the bom-bard-ier’s power.  The weapon measures 6 feet in length and the dual heads measure about 3.5 feet from point to point.  A heavily ensorcelled item, The Axe can be used as a melee weapon, where it functions as a normal battle-axe.  Otto can also play one of many chords and songs to invoke the power of The Axe (each to be purchased as a separate move).

Chords: Rock and Roll (300 OM) (Ranged Proficiency, Area Attack Proficiency, Area Defense Proficiency, Ranged Materialize Proficiency)

Otto plays a series of rock and roll chords for three seconds.  When he's finished, a wave of destructive energy pours from The Axe in a twenty-foot cone in front of Otto at the speed of sound, ten feet wide at its widest point.  Terrain affected by the wave shakes and cracks, rolling forward to knock down and impede advancing enemies.  At the end of the cone a pillar of earth erupts from the ground, occupying about half the width of the cone's ten foot width and extending ten feet into the air and flinging unfortunate souls skyward.  The pillar remains until it is broken.

Lord Wolfe,

My name is Zubair el-Sahli. I'm reaching out on behalf of the Nippur!Chronical magazine and The Nippurian Gazette newspaper to request an interview with you at your earliest convenience. The interview can proceed over digital format or in person, which ever is easiest for a much busy figure of importance such as yourself, and will be inquiring into New Babylon's public plans for the reformation of the city and public concerns/complaints.

Thank you for the consideration.

  Switching: Spider-Man to Eleanor Lamb
Posted by: Eleanor Lamb - 05-29-2018, 11:58 PM - Forum: Joining - Replies (1)

CHARACTER NAME: Eleanor Lamb

CHARACTER SOURCE: BioShock 2

CHARACTER HISTORY:

Eleanor Lamb is the daughter of Sofia Lamb, a highly-respected doctor in the underground city of rapture. She was born shortly after her mother's arrival in Rapture and raised away from other children, until her mother's arrest by Andrew Ryan. While being cared for by one of her mother's friends, Grace Holloway, Eleanor was kidnapped and transformed into a Little Sister -- a brainwashed young child that exists only for the purpose of gathering ADAM. As a sister, she was partnered with Subject Delta, a Big Daddy whom she would form a lifelong (so far) connection with.

Eventually, Eleanor's mother Sofia escaped prison, murdered her Big Daddy companion, and rescued her daughter, undoing the Little Sister conditioning and returning her to her normal self. Sofia confined Eleanor to a small corner of Rapture, and eventually began performing medical experiments on her after she realized the positive changes the Little Sister conditioning had on her daughter's body.

Frustrated by her isolated existence as a test subject for her mother's mad science, after turning eighteen Eleanor arranged for the revival of her Big Daddy companion, Subject Delta, and led him to her location, convincing him to rescue her. After fighting off her mother and her mother's minions, Eleanor gets Subject Delta to retrieve a Big Sister suit for her, and together they fight through Rapture and escape to the surface. In her frantic race to the world above, Eleanor loses track of Delta, and when she emerges from Rapture, finds herself in a wholly different world than she expected: the Omniverse.

STATS:
ATK: 4
DEF: 1
SPD: 3
TEC: 2

STARTING PROFICIENCIES: Physical Strength (1000), Debuff (1000)

STARTING POWERS: Basic Enhanced Senses (1400)

STARTING MOVES:

Syringe (300)
One of Eleanor's hands is outfitted with a giant syringe. It begins at her wrist, is approximately a foot long and is about the girth of an Elizabethan rapier. It is attached to a wrist-band that also has a small tank on the underside of it, originally used to store the ADAM the syringe extracts. In the Omniverse, with the absence of ADAM, it no longer is used for that purpose. Eleanor can use it as a melee weapon, stabbing with it; she is capable of quick jabs that can penetrate skin, but don't particularly cause any lasting damage; rather this mostly just bothers her enemies. The syringe also cannot penetrate any sort of strong armor (stronger than, say, leather).

I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.
