Like lava flows, get it? Eh, fuck.
So that definitely had gone better than Drake had been expecting. There had been significant concern that the Koopa King was just going to toss the four of them out on their collective ass, but instead, they just got a gigantic shrug and 'impress me'. So yeah, Drake was pretty sure he could manage that, even with these three other military trained demi-gods slowing him down. Ohhhhh fuck. He was gonna die.
As the troupe of adventurers sauntered forth from Bowser's court, Drake was the first to speak up.
"So, I don't known about you guys but I'm famished. How'd about whipping up some Omnilicious-whooaa..." Drake said, rapidly getting cut off as Miranda started to take on a brilliant, white shine. Ohh shit! MIRANDA WAS EVOLVING! WHAT?!
NO. OH GOD SHE JUST EXPLODED.
Drake's eyes went completely wide, and then he immediatelt started harshing on himself for not making a pass at the swarthy fist goddess sooner, and THEN he started really beating himself up because you seriously gonna think about missed rende-boobs when that chick just totes died?? Jesus. The smuggler turned around and gawked at the other two Primes, expecting some sort of answer, but they too seemed just as confused.
And then Colonel phased through the floor, soooooo that was a thing. Yep. Drake held his hand out to the side, as if balancing on the edge of a cliff.
"Don't...Move..." Drake said, keeping his eyes fixed on a particularly nice looking brick. I mean, bricks weren't inherently nice, but as far as bricks went, Drake preferred it over others he'd seen. It was just a little irregular, and its surface seemed like it might be nice to rub his face against. This...wasn't something Drake went around doing all the time, mind you, but if he HAD been the kind of person to do that, he had hit the jackpot.
And then, like, reality came back and Drake glanced into Zack's freaky shark eyes (he has those, right?). There really weren't any words to be said except.
"Maybe we should..." Drake started, offering a sentiment that Zack was only too willing to finish.
"...get out of here."
"...Yeah."
And so the two of them hoofed it like a pair of kangaroos hopped up on brown-brown gatorade smoothies, getting about one hundred yards down the hallway and successfully avoiding getting turned to paste by some giant, angry-ass spike bricks chilling up on the ceiling. It was at this point that the two of them found themselves at the castle's armory. They knew this, because there was a giant sign hanging over the door that said 'ARMERY'. I mean. Clearly literacy isn't a priority when living on a volcano planet, but you'd think there'd be higher signage standards when it came to a royal castle. Oh whatever.
A lone, red shelled koopa was standing guard outside the heavy iron door, his gaze facing straight ahead. After catching their breath, Zack and Drake approached, only to have the turtle hold up his adorable little marshmallow hand and say 'halt'.
"Well, actually, now that we're here...would you mind if we took a look around? Bowser gave us a mission, and we could use some help, seeing as two of our friends just...disappeared." Zack said, rubbing the back of his mullet with a sweaty gloved hand. The terrapin seemed like he was about to offer a counter argument, but Drake slowly walked towards the sentinel with a soft look in his eyes.
"S-stay back! Stay back or I'll..."
"Shhh..." the Smuggler said, crouching down and placing a gentle hand on the Koopa's face. His little beak mouth hung open like it had a loose hinge.
"I don't understand what's happen-"
"Shhhhhhhh. Shhh...shhh..." Drake said, looking deep into the Koopa's absurd double eyes. He gently shook his head and brought his mouth close to the turtle's hypothetical ear.
"Hey. Hey bud. Listen."
"Wh-wha? Uh..."
"Listen. Hey, hey, listen. Listen. Do you..." Drake said, his voice trailing off. The Koopa gulped nervously, too stunned to move.
"Do...I..."
"Shh...Do you...like bricks?"
"What the fluff are you talking abo-"
"Shhhhh. There is a brick...near the throne room. It is the greatest brick I have ever seen."
"I don't..."
"You'll know the brick when you see it. You will feel compelled to rub your face on it. Go. Go on man. Go. Go check it out." Drake said, releasing the Koopa from his tender embrace. The turtle guard edged away ever so slightly towards the main hall, keeping his eyes plastered on Drake's serene face. The smuggler made a shooing motion with his hands and mouthed the words 'go on', offering the little fella a bright grin. Shaking, the Koopa slowly walked away, a look of abject horror on his face.
Zack's expression was not much different.
"What did you say to him?" the ex-SOLDIER asked, approaching the door which Drake was currently picking the lock on.
"Nothing. His name is Steve, okay?"
"...okay..."
Half an hour later, Zack and Drake were floating out of Bowser's Palace in this weird, round clown pod that hovered. It also had this creepy ass clown face on the front, so Drake had found a bucket of tar and painted some sunglasses on it. He also painted 'BIG B'S BITCHES' on the rear side. Zack had protested to this at first, but the clown car balloon...thing...was actually faster and more comfortable than Miranda's beat-ass pickup. Not only that, but they both had scored some sweet gear to fight with.
Of course, as they left the palace grounds, other Koopa guards had questions. Who told them they could take that stuff? Where were they taking it? How did they get it? Drake was more than ready for these answers, with such gems as 'Steve said we could', or 'Ask Steve'. All in all, things were looking up for Zack and Drake.
Now they just had to go bait and kill some dragon riders, nbd.

The warm, tropical winds of the savannah scored Orion's skin as he passed through the portal. The clouds gathered and rumbled overhead, the promise of a storm to come. He walked, crunching the drying grass beneath his boots. The last time he was here, he was beset by a gang of hunters. They made little resistance, and their campfire made for a good meal. His lip twitched. That was the first time he knew something was different; no, wrong, with him. Energy blasts didn't vaporise them in one swift action; they injured, they killed, but with such little of the potency they once had. Orion swallowed, teeth clenched.
The road to Carrefore was short, or at least it felt it. Orion arose from the depths of his mind as the township's sign stuck out abruptly on the side of the road. He didn't spend much time here last time, but there was no pressing need to pass through quickly. An elite warrior he may have no longer been, but he was still a full blooded saiyan. His feet shuffled towards the bar.
The swinging doors yielded to his body as Orion pressed against them. They flipped noisily as he walked through, providing the only sound in an almost empty building. He trudged to the bar and collapsed on the dirtied seat cushion. The barkeeper turned at the sound of the air whooshing from the seat and met Orion, eyes wilted.
"Welcome back," he said, face flat. "Find what you were lookin' for?"
Orion narrowed his eye. "No. I found something else."
The barkeeper inclined his head. "Unpleasant, I take it." When Orion didn't respond, he humphed. "That's probably why you're here. What'll you have?"
Orion drew in a breath, chest puffing out, and let it jet from his nose as he took the first swig of beer. Warm, just like last time. He spun from the bar, staring at the light filtering through the slits in the door. Dust particles floated through, disappearing as they left the rays.
This was his new home. A sordid, filthy bar. A life free of struggle, of battle, of conflict. The fire in his saiyan blood was strong, but alcohol was a powerful anti-flammable. He looked into the bottom of his mug, remembering all of the reprehensible saiyans on Vegeta who had thrown away their careers to become professional drunkards. Seeing the world from their point of view, he couldn't bring himself to despise them any longer. They had simply reached a point in life's journey that he hadn't understood until now.
Orion drained the remainder of his drink. He spun back to the bar and motioned to the barkeeper. "Another."
As the beer sloshed and foamed into his mug, a loud bang filled the room. Orion glanced over his shoulder.
Two men strode into the bar, the swinging doors slammed hard against the wall. Wrapped in beige rags, including their faces, they stood at the entrance. Their eyes, visible through a gap in the rags, scanned the room. A rowdy discussion echoed into the bar from outside, as did the revving of engines. Orion sized them up. Bandits, or scavengers perhaps. He turned back to his drink.
A heavy hand thumped on Orion's shoulder. "Hey, buddy. You're in my seat."

Orion twisted his neck, feeling a satisfying pop releasing a tense knot. Eye downcast, he shuffled to the edge of the fountain. His gloved palm rested on the rim of the stone basin, his stern reflection rippling and blurred as the spray of water cascaded onto the surface. He scooped a handful of water and threw it against his face. How he wished for a cool breeze to wash over him.
Bested by a mage. A damn practitioner of tricks.
His rage bubbled beneath the surface, but something held it back. An icy hatred smothered the mind numbing fury he would normally experience. Not only had he lost to a sorcerer, but he'd been killed by him too. Yet somehow, he didn't care. He couldn't.
As he listened to the tinkling of water against water, it came to him. It wasn't because death was meaningless in this realm, or that he soothed himself with thoughts of revenge. It wasn't because a mage was beneath him (he was, but that was beside the point).
Orion wasn't himself. However he arrived here, not all of him had come with him. His once great power, enough to shatter worlds and obliterate civilisations, had been reduced to something akin to a child's strength. The years of experience, training and gains, had largely been robbed from him.
So how could he be mad? How could a shadow of a saiyan be upset with defeat? He was a stock standard soldier engaging in battles meant for elites. Here was a saiyan stripped of all that made him a saiyan.
Orion focused on the wavering mirror image of himself, a shaky representation of the real thing in more ways than one. It stared dispassionately back.
He pushed off the basin, spat in the water, and trudged into the deep white nothingness.

Sooo... I have no idea what "RP Fodder" means exactly, just that a move I'm really attached to seems to be classified as it. Every time I hear it, my brain thinks "Guess that means no." When I google the definition, I get something about feed for cattle. What is it exactly, and why can't I create one in the Moves Creation thread?

The first bounty hunt complete. Caira was gone and Toybox Girl was with the two friends she summoned, Caren and Nora. The Beezles floated behind her as they moved through Dalaran. Toybox Girl was not feeling so well after their departure from Magus. His powers had a strange effect upon her. Her body was fundamentally damaged disabling some of her unlocked abilities. That was no surprise to her though, her systems were still unstable. No mechanics in this universe to fix her. But it wouldn't take just any mechanic, only her own creator truly understood the ADAPT system she invented.
They've been here for a few days now since Caira's departure learning much about the city. The universe that they were set it was modeled after some early era technology where magic was dominant. It was interesting, and Toybox Girl's memory was saving all the important bits. She had never been to a world which was so dominated by magic before. The robot girl could freely copy many of the magic spells she witnessed as the walked the streets. By those that could tell they saw that she was genuinely conjuring magic despite no apparent aptitude in the magical arts.
Her potential was such that she was offered an apprenticeship as she played levitation games with the children in front of the library. However she turned it down. Her mind was equally occupied on the Dataverse and discovering the complexities of this world and those connected to it. Going too far into this kingdom that controlled the world would alienate her from the Empire, an opposite world where science was dominated over magic. Neither organization had favorable reputations on the internet, but there weren't that many governments for people to criticize.
It was because of this that Toybox Girl decided to hit the road back to the Nexus and find a way to Coruscant. Knowing that it wouldn't be too good to just tell people that she was going there, she only made vague assertions of a plan to hunt more bounties. So she and her two Beezle stepped through the teleporter to outside the city. Time to get back out there!

It's time for another character change! Yep, Yang's starting to lose her appeal and I'm considering to change, eventually. So, it is time to open a thread and ramble on about my possible picks!
I am especially considering making a character that would be inclined towards evil (mind you, not a "villain" - just someone with evil tendencies, who COULD be an antagonist but isn't), to make a contrast to Amaterasu. A full-on villain would also be an option. Neither are "mandatory" though, any idea works.
Other plus-points would be given for:
-The character having ESP, being a Psyker, a Force-Sensitive or whatever you wish to call it - basically, them having Telekinetic powers or comparable.
-Any character where putting Mimic would make sense. Ganondorf's Happy Mask Salesman idea was a very good one for this.
-Generally characters which have growth potential. Obviously every character has this potential, but characters that feel "established", that are well-rounded and don't really have space for more without it becoming weird aren't my thing so much (part of the reason why Yang is starting to feel weird to me).
So, here we are with my current list! Inside the spoilerinos you can see a number of pros (+), unsure-if-good-or-bads (~) and cons (-). Obviously the number of + or - indicates its relevance.
Sabrina (Pokemon Adventures) Currently my topmost pick. I've submitted a form to have her be an NPC Prime (I'd obviously withdraw that) so I have a fair idea of where she would be standing. She's got a lot of pluses, really.
+++ ESPer
++ Rich universe with plenty of secondary options
++ Could make "Gyms" to test people's strength and hand out badges, like in the games
++ With two factions and several NPC Primes there's a lot of room for interaction without even taking other Primes into consideration
++ Popular character = Tons and tons of artwork from the mangas, series, games and fanart
+ Pokemon Adventures put her as evil for a while and later she became good, Pokemon games & series she was good
+ Would not need nerfing
+ Already planned a lot of her moves, powers etc. in the NPC app
+ I could just slap shapeshifting on her to make her look like Tatsumaki
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
~ Waifu factor
~ Spoon(ing) jokes and puns for days
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-- Likely to get herself a bounty and/or get banished
- Possibly a "childish" series for kids
- Might lack big "ambitions", life goals and such, or be torn back and forth between personal goals and running a gym
- Canon Sabrina hasn't got all that many powers of her own
- Pokemon as Assists would be expensive as damn and not offer much variety
Tatsumaki (One Punch Man) A fun character from an amazing series - objectively saying, that is. One Punch Man has great art, interesting characters, general hilarity and is not about women in bikini armor.
+++ ESPer
++ Cool looks
++ A very "fresh" universe with a lot of awesome characters and artwork to make Secondaries and NPCPrimes with
+ Images and animated material
+ Good name & nickname
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-- One ticket to nerftown please
-- Only a fraction of her is revealed in the series thus far
- Bratty behavior
- Unsure of where to take her, goals and such
- Somewhat generic as a character
- Unsure if I'm just riding the hype of OPM and will grow bored of her later
A Diclonius (Elfen Lied) Should be included because Diclonii have ESP. After self-torturing myself through watching the first episode, I kind of took a liking to the idea of mighty hands doing everything. It's NOT gonna be Lucy though.
+++ ESPer
+ Cool "telekinetic arms"
+ Kitty ears!
--- It's an Elfen Lied character
-- I will never be masochistic enough to make myself see the whole series => I lack comprehension of it
- The Elfen Lied world is not very "big", not that many options for secondaries
Shadow Mewtwo or Metal Mewtwo This would obviously require approval first to confirm that it's different enough from the Mewtwo that we have as NPC Prime to be okay. Something something about Mewtwo having stuck to Team Rocket and being generally evil and destructive, having hardened its heart and always wearing the armor from Mewtwo Strikes Back.
+++ ESPer (kindof, hue)
+++ My top favorite Pokemon from one of my top favorite movies of all time
++ Big world with plenty of characters to pull from
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-- Mewtwo already exists, this is just an altered version
- Goals and such might be limited
- Would require telepathy to even be able to communicate with people
Razputin (Psychonauts) He's an ESPer, he could defeat people from the inside by messing with their minds and - JUST KIDDING LOL
Maleficient (Sleeping Beauty, Disney Adaptation) That is to say, the pale witch with the raven and the whole "A forest of thorns shall be his tomb" tale. One of the most amazing Disney villains ever.
+++ Possibly one of the biggest existing verses to pull secondaries from.
++ Overall a cool villain.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Straight villain
- No world-domination or similar big plot, biggest accomplishment was to curse a kid
- Not a very fighter oriented character
Aku (Samurai Jack) Seems like Samurai Jack might come back in 2016, but I was all about those series as a kid! Aku's just generally a very powerful character with a few funny moments and whatnot.
++ Shapeshifter
+ Lots of powers to build on from
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Not a malicious character, but a full-on villain. Would not be very social in making allies.
- Would need lots of nerfing (I mean, this guy was half dead when he sent a Samurai years into the future and could only be harmed by a single specific weapon)
- Very expensive to just build his base, as he can grow/shrink and has alt forms
-Sometimes he just derps out as a villain
Cinder (RWBY) Kinda leaving this here, as the extent of her powers, her character and generally everything about her is very vague yet in the series when I am writing this. An option, but not a big contestant.
+ Deep, interesting character
+ Cool powers
+ Potential to go further
+ Perfect antagonist to the RWBY crew
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Lacks overall depth in the series
- Unclear motivations and goals, would be hard to play her well
- Straight-out villain
- Cunning, tricky and everything but straightforward, would be hard to play
Malon (Legend of Zelda) Underappreciated character, she could be really cool! But she'd be very average, too - and possibly more fitting as a secondary. Still deserves an honorable mention.
++ Nice universe
++ Known character, but not very used
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
~ Waifu for Link/DarkLink
~ There's more Malon x Link fanfics than the complete works of Shakespeare
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-- Very similar personality to Amaterasu
- No superpowers
- No goals
Korra (Avatar) I've only seen very little about her (which is to say, snippets from gifs) and only saw a bit of the original Avatar series, the one with Aang. Depending on if she's cool she COULD be an option!
EDIT: I watched the first two episodes and am starting to get the character down. Interesting for sure!
++ Four elements allow for many moves
++ Cool appearance
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Personality is similar to Yang in many regards
- Often times feels full of herself and kinda childish
- No innate ESP or move-mimicking skills
Kaguya Otsotsuki (Naruto) The strongest existing chakra wielder of all time! Outside of generally being a badass and having the options to... well, grow in pretty much any concievable direction, Kaguya would be a cool character who's antagonistic, with a few protagonistic tendencies. The nerfs would be real though.
+++++ More options than I'll ever be able to try, including psychic powers and Mimic
++ Narutoverse is pretty huge and has many options
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-- Would need about as much nerfing as Saitama (I mean, she has instant-killing bone projectiles and can make portals!)
- I'll need lots of OM to reach the diversity of moves and powers that canon Kaguya had
- Innate enemies with great Omniverse experience (Sasuke and Kakashi)
- She didn't show up for too long and her personality isn't all that much revealed
Inori Aizawa (Microsoft) This has come to my consideration as of lately... Internet Explorer 10, personificated! Yes, that's a thing. There's even a video on the youtubes about it.
++ Part of a universe with a number of personified Microsoft products, lots of fun options.
++ Lots of options! (Plugins for IE as equipment, like Skype for Communication)
+ Would be a neat Dataverse focused character.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-- She's a kid, teenager at best, which puts me off a great deal
- No clue whatsoever what goals she might have
- No really innate powers, the promotional video was mostly a silly thing
- The things shown from the video can easily be tacked on to other characters
