Consumable Powers Idea?

Alright so I have been pondering this for the past few weeks, but I kinda want to see if we can make a move to create consumables that allow temporary powers. Originally I was just like meh, but Trixie's daring innovation has helped me announce it. Now one thing I would need help with is balancing, but this is generally how it goes.
Solid Rules: (Unless overturned)
All of these are consumables, meaning that each separate power consumable takes up one consumable slot. Same power consumables stack up to 3,5(?) times.
There are two separate doses, one that's for a round, and one that is for a full fight(3 rounds). DIFFERENT DOSES DO NOT STACK
Costs are as follows: (THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON THE COMMUNITY RESPONSE):
Single round dose: 10% of power cost.
Full fight (3 round) dose: 25% of power cost.
EXAMPLE: Stealth (1200)
Single round: 120 OM
Full fight(3 round) dose: 300 OM
NOTE: Once taken, powers can either last 2 or 6 hours(depending on dose) for use for story actions, or for the times listed above. For fights, the consumable must be taken IMMEDIATELY before it, BUT it can also be taken DURING a fight. If taken during a fight, the amount used is subtracted from the hours that. (Example. Took Full Fight Stealth dose for 2 rounds, the remaining time the character has left with the power is 2 hours for story purposes, or one round if attacked IMMEDIATELY afterwards.) IF YOU ARE ATTACKED WHILE USING IT FOR STORY PURPOSES, IT ONLY ACCOUNTS FOR HALF ITS DOSE DURING THE FIGHT.
You may only have ONE consumable power up active at a time. HOWEVER, you can stack the effects of same power consumables.(example, taking 3 single round stealth consumables)
Possible exception to above rule: This takes Trixie's idea into account. If you wish, for you can expend 1 sp in addition to any power up to use up to 3 different power consumables, SO LONG AS THEY ARE ALREADY ON HAND. No buying it all in the middle of a battle!
POSSIBLE BANNED POWERS: Powers that might be too OP as a consumable. Mimic is most likely one, but this I am leaving up to the community. Think about how it would play out in your fights, and how fair it is. Please don't try to make an advantageous system, especially if we want this to become an actual thing.
WHAT I AM SEEKING: Basically critique on what rules are good or bad, possible loopholes, possible new rules, as well as CRITIQUE ON COST. Would you buy these items? Glances at all the things people don't buy in the item page.
EDIT: Also some ideas to how these items will look IC would be nice. :frogbon:
Extra rules may be added to this post. Updates will be listed first before the rest of the original post. THis is a starting idea, and may or may not be even implemented. Please keep all critique professional and keep an open mind.

Alright, so I've decided to try an actual lets play, using EZvid for videos. With luck, I won't be awful.
I figured I'd start out with a game I particularly enjoy, Dominions 4. The concept is that the top god has buggered off, and all the lesser gods/powerful wizards are fighting to fill the power vacuum by claiming various thrones of ascension. It starts off innocently enough, but before you know it the God-Emperor is omniscient, the giant word in the sky is burning the world, and everyone's fading to dust as a lich cackles manically.
All very good fun.
Anyways, I'd figure I'd give you all some choice on what we're going to be rolling with for this series.
The map we'll be using is Valanis, a decent sized map that is essentially a chunk of rock in the sky, after the entire damn world blew up.
![[Image: Valanis.png]](http://www.llamaserver.net/mapThumbs/Valanis.png)
Here are our options for the nations. As said by men much wiser than me, a Nation is a chassis, while the God is the engine powering the whole thing. I've cut it down to the ones I think I know how to play.

Atlantis! Hordes of coral-armed infantry, rising from beneath the sea to... Well, mostly die. The real core to this nation would be the Basalt Kings and Queens. The queens are powerful priests that also happen to be horrifying, angler-faced monstrosities that can crack elephant skulls between their scaled thighs. The kings, to contrast, are similarly powerful mages that toss boulders, magma, and only occasionally water around, compensating for the lack of bows underwater. Everything else in the faction is largely there to do the dying for them.

Ah, my sweet, sweet Xibalba. Flying hordes of stealthy bat people wielding sharpened sticks and black magic. Seriously, these guys move like the wind, could hide in the nexus, and when you kill one, seventy-three take their place. They've got powerful blood magic, hordes of guys, and pretty good sacred troops. The only problem is that your basic infantry flies into battle with all the self-confidence of a spoon, a pointy stick, and a loincloth. They die in droves, they kill in droves, and somewhere along the way they summon jaguar-demons to wreck anything their spears can't. However, they are, well, as blind as bats. They have almost no ranged presence to speak of.

Agartha is a nation of pale, naked Cyclopses hanging around in caves on top of a vault filled with dead gods and tormented souls. They have a lot of HP, a lot of strength, but that's about it. They only have one terrible eye, so expecting them to hit something is an error. Fortunately, they have ways around this. All Agarthan armies are backed up either by wizards that debuff/buff to the point of actually letting them hit something, and/or hordes of psychic worms that paralyze the enemy while making their brains dribble out of their ears.

Abyssia is an army of heavily-armoured fire. They love the heat, they love flames, they love their red-hot salamanders, and they also enjoy hot demon-on-fire loving that results in flying assassins. They also happen to have some access to blood magic, which, with the aid of blood sacrifices, will help spread their fiery dominion of doom . They're very difficult to kill, are very killy themselves, but suffer from a few maluses. For a start, being on fire prevents them from using ranged weapons, meaning they need to rely on fireballs and the like to stay relevant in that regard. Secondly, they're units are all very expensive in terms of resources, meaning that you're going to be stuck with a relatively small, elite force.

C'Tis is a race of Egyptian Lizardmen. They have very strong slaves that quickly annihilate the enemy (But require a taskmaster to command them), very powerful necromancers, and excellent priests. Sadly, they lack decent sacred troops, and any ranged capability beyond a rare few spells and javelins. Still though, their infantry are quite impressive (Although, like pretty much everything, is not comparable to the shining phanlaxes of Ermor), their chariots can trample through the foe, and skeleton spam with the help of your necromancers is always fun.

This is for you people who are organizing IC meetings with other members, and are losing track over who to meet, for what reason and when. Since it's a public list people might always ask if they can join.
Also, if you're organizing storylines and quests, be that solo or in groups, you can share that here if you feel like writing them with someone.
To avoid fighting and to keep everything mature: only post To-Dos which are agreed on by all participants. As a general guideline, nobody should be surprised to see their name in someone else's to-do list.

Suggestion: Transformation Powers

So while I was writing up my Tier 1 Transformation for Trixie I stumbled across an interesting thought. Why not customize power ups and transformations with powers for an extra cost?
For example: John Doe doesn't have Flight or Burst Movement, but he wants to use them while powered up. Well the base cost for a Tier 1 Powerup/Transformation is 1,000 OM. I figure we could halve the cost of Powers usable only while transformed. So he'd pay 400 for Burst Movement, down from 800, and 900 for Flight, down from 1800. The catch is that instead of 1,000 OM for a Power Up the new cost would be 2,200 OM.
John Doe would now be able to fly and use burst movement only while transformed, but it would be lost as soon as he powers down.
Thoughts?

Character name: Mastema
Character source: Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey
Character history: Mastema, also known as Mansemat, is an angel of persecution and hostility. He tends to tempt people to sin and then let God lay the final judgement. Mastema is a black sheep of the angels and takes matters into his own hands, instead of waiting for an order to do so. He loves to lure, play tricks, and tell lies to warp whatever situation in his favor. Mastema came to the Omniverse after a successful mission of the Schwarzwelt. (in the 21st Century)
Physical Description: 6ft tall
Stats:
ATK :2
DEF: 1
SPD: 3
TEC: 4
Starting Proficiencies: Ranged Proficiency – 1000 OM, Debuff Proficiency – 1000 OM, Ranged Materialize Proficiency – 600 OM (requires Ranged Proficiency)
Starting Powers: Flight – 1800 OM. Mastema takes flight by using his gigantic black wings.
Starting Moves: Deadly Wind - 600 OM. A light gust of wind, fired from the palm of his hand, that can be charged for greater effectiveness. It requires the user to be stationary in order to use it while charging. Once hit, the enemy could be pushed back up to five feet. They then suffer minor damage from the attack and damage if the enemy was pushed into an object.. The minimum time it takes to use is about a second, and the longest it can be charged for is ten seconds for a greater effect. Once fired it travels as fast as 20mph wind. It is roughly three feet in diameter. Range is 50 feet.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct. I'm pretty sure it's against the rules to not read the rules :p.. but yes, I did read them

Character name:
Bass
Character source:
Mega Man 7
Character history:
Bass was a combat android specifically designed to mirror Mega Man. During the creator process, however, a new energy source, dubbed 'Bassinum' was created, becoming the basis of his energy input and output, and his name. Also, music puns. However, due to his creators want to have him be better than Mega Man in every way, he gave his A.I more room to make free choices. At first, it wasn't too radical, resulting in small diversions of directions, and he had a bit of a 'rebellious teen' attitude. After a while, however, he had the overwhelming desire to be the best, and went full on with the rebelliousness, becoming a threat to both his allies, and enemies. He was pulled from after his defeat in Megaman 8, and was undergoing reconstruction before being transported to the Omniverse.
Physical Description:
![[Image: Inline_Bass2_1263580926.jpg]](http://wiimedia.ign.com/wii/image/article/106/1061410/Inline_Bass2_1263580926.jpg)
Stats:
ATK: 3
Made specifically for combat, his physical and ranged attack strength is great. He prefers using ranged attacks, however. More options.
DEF: 2
His defense wasn't a major part of his production, mainly made for a run and gun approach. His metal exterior does provide some protection.
SPD: 3
He had thrusters installed in his feet, which allow him to dash. Aside from that, his 'run-and-gun' approach means that he has a good amount of movement and mobility.
TEC: 2
Again, he would rather shoot things from a distance. However, if push comes to shove, he has a enough base combat experience to hold his own.
Starting Proficiencies:
Ranged Proficiency (1000 OM)
Buff Proficiency (800)
(1400)
Starting Powers:
Burst Movement (800 OM)
Master Acrobat (400 OM)
(1200)
Starting Moves:
Bass Buster (Normal, and Charged): (Ranged Proficiency Required) (600 OM)
The Bass Buster is an arm cannon, which fires out concentrated blasts of energy slightly larger than a lemon. The shots can be fired around 5 at a time normally. When impacting against a solid surface they create a small explosion around double their size, and can last out in open air for about 5 seconds before dissipating. It can be charged for around five to ten seconds to create a larger, more devastating blast. The larger blast can only be fired once at a time, and is around the Bass's size in height (around 5 feet, 7 inches), and two and a half feet in length, and 1 and a half feet in width. When the larger blast comes into contact, it creates an explosion around 1.5 times it's size. Great for taking out quicker enemies, however. The recharge time does not seem to be an issue, as Bassnium has been proclaimed as an infinite energy resource, although it's possible radioactive nature will cause internal (and if still used, external) damages if overused.
Used 3200 OM in Application, 1800 remaining.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.
I read it, and I'm pretty sure I understand it. Huzzah.
Where did you find us?
No really, I just accidentally stumbled across the site.
Who let the Namekian Out? [M]

”And then I went down the somber staircase. It smelled like Namekian ass and Jack Frost's cum. The entire time I descended into the depths of the base, I thought: 'Who the fuck impregnated that dude, or more importantly, how?!' It was disturbing . . .
Aaaaaand, that's the short version of how I got here. There was a much longer version, but Baron decided to preoccupy himself with other activity. Namely, spending our time on Omniverse side-bitches. It's cool though,” he said, taking a hand across one his his buttocks. ” I know I'm still his main hoe.”
Triumpht's response came out through his visage; his brow ridges furrowed, and his mouth opened in a warped shape.
”What, you don't approve of my relationship with Baron?” Deadpool threw his fists to his hip, and hunched over the child. ”Especially when no one even knows who the fuck your mom is.”
He paused; the statement he just made brought out a plethora of questions that he had never thought of prior to now.
“You sure Retane's not your mom, and in actuality, your father is some guy he encountered in Dante's Abyss?”
Was . . . he father? He vaguely remembered the time they spent together, but he did not recall them having intercourse, that was for certain. Maybe blood could also impregnate Namekians; he remembered Retane wounding him. Maybe the emerald, jaded fiend (Insert forty more aliases here) stole some of his blood. Damn sicko. But the mercenary always wanted a son; and though Triumpht was a hideous Namekian, if Deadpool was his father, he would love him just as he would a beautiful baby. Hell, who was he kidding? He hated ugly children, but for the sake of his new baby momma, Retane, he'd try to raise the boy right. It was the least he could do.
Deadpool's eyes glossed over as he stared into the face of his son. ”I-I think I'm your papa.”
“Us Namekians are asexual,” Triumpht retorted. “That means we don't have a specific gender, but in your language we go by the masculine terms.”
”So you guys are like hermaphrodites?” Deadpool quipped, cracking a smirky wrinkle across his mask. ”Or wait, female-to-male transgenders?”
“Maybe you should read a book one day, and enlighten yourself to what an asexual is.”
The mercenary sensed anger behind the Namekian's words. ”Easy man, you gotta work on your sense of humor.”
As Triumpht did everything else, he took Deadpool's words seriously, and nodded. “So, where are we going?”
”Not sure,” Deadpool replied, ”but I left my artifact back at Retane's base, so I'm down for whatever comes my way. . . Including bumps of cocaine, off of old Darkshire prostitutes that are wayyy past their primes. I'm talking eggs nailed to a wall type of sagging, the type that come from years and years of breastfeeding, and probably til the lil' shitters were got potty-trained.”
“You left something at my father's base?” Triumpth asked, surprised.
”Yeah, I didn't have time to explain all of that to you, but I left my artifact there before I snatched you up. If Baron hadn't given me the cold shoulder, there probably would have been a better and more detailed recap for ya.”
“So to Darkshire?”
”Nah, I got a lesson I gotta teach to a bunch of n00bs. It's about not trusting strangers over the internet.”
Earlier, the mercenary had checked his mobile device. His intentions were to troll Sasuke, but when he typed the ninja's name into the search bar a APB popped up. A mass of primes were gathering together in the Nexus, and all for the same purpose—to kill Sasuke, and whatever band of men that accompanied him. The mercenary found it rather odd that so many strangers were willing to meet up. Did they never hear of the Craigslist Killer? One of the repliers was a female; wasn't she afraid of getting raped? No matter, Sasuke was a loose associate—one with THREE artifacts—, even if the Deadpool's actions near the end soured their relationship.
A moment like this could get them back to the path of BFFs, and get him back within arm-length of those artifacts.
